Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/19/15

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/16/15

  • Jeb Bush's level of cluelessness is genuinely staggering sometimes: "How pathetic for @realdonaldtrump to criticize the president for 9/11.  We were attacked & my brother kept us safe."

  • FRC prays for the passage of the First Amendment Defense Act and against the passage of the Equality Act.
  • Finally, Wayne Allyn Root is convinced that this week's Democratic debate was a sham: "I could tell Hillary's answers were all scripted. She clearly was given questions in advance. This is GIGANTIC scandal."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/14/15

  • "Gordon is paranoid and delusional": Gordon Klingenschmitt's campaign for a seat in Colorado's state Senate seems to be getting off to a great start.
  • Obviously, it is not guns that are to blame for this nation's string of mass shootings but rather the "sex and violence [that] is tied to zombies, witches, vampires, and horror movies."
  • David Barton and George Barna will be leading another American Pastors Network conference in December aimed at getting Christians to vote in order to "raise an individual in the White House to lead this nation from a purely biblical perspective."
  • Jennifer LeClaire laments that the Dutch Reformed Church has voted to recognize gay marriage: "I expect more denominations to fall by the wayside, or break off from their mainline denominations as they embrace doctrines of demons that encourage them to start their own sects of postmodern Christianity that is really not Christianity at all."

  • Jennifer LeClaire helpfully lays out "5 Clear Signs Witchcraft Is Attacking You Right Now."

  • Bethany Blankley names the 46 senators who "should be tried for treason."
  • Jonathan Cahn continues to promote his failed Shemitah theory while also laughably hedging his bets: "In a good amount of the last seven Shemitahs, the market collapse continues past the Shemitah's end date, the Hebrew Elul 29, and into the subsequent autumn. In some others, it doesn't."
  • Finally, Franklin Graham is upset about the removal of a Ten Commandments monument from outside the Oklahoma capitol: "We have been appalled at news reports of ISIS and the Islamic State tearing down all symbols of Christianity in the Middle East; but think about it—we’re doing it to ourselves here in the U.S. Atheists, activists, and anti-God groups like the ACLU, the Freedom From Religion Foundation, and the Military Freedom of Religion Foundation are on a quest to erase or tear down anything associated with the Name of Jesus Christ."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/8/15

  • Apparently, criticism of Jonathan Cahn is "the true sign of a prophet who speaks truth" and not the result of him being constantly wrong.
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer channels David Barton in making the claim that Jesus opposed the minimum wage: "Minimum wage laws price some low-skilled employees out of the job market altogether, raise the cost of goods and services for everybody, including the poor, and reduce the overall number of jobs. Who gets hurt? The little guy looking to place his foot on the bottom rung of the ladder of financial self-sufficiency. Maybe that is why there are no minimum wage laws in the parables of Jesus."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/2/15

  • Ben Carson is calling upon the IRS to "punish" the Council on American-Islamic Relations for supposedly violating its tax-exempt status by criticizing him. If a Democratic candidate did something like this to a Religious Right group, we'd never hear the end of them screaming about "anti-Christian persecution."
  • Sign up now for Peter LaBarbera's annual banquet so you can hear speakers make "The Case Against Sodomy."
  • Franklin Graham stands by his call to ban Muslim immigrants: "By letting Muslims come into this country at this time [there's] the potential for some of these people to turn on this nation for our kindness and our gratitude and commit murder. • Jonathan Cahn says that Hurricane Joaquin is a warning from God as "a precursor to the United Nations recognizing Palestine."
  • Speaking of Cahn, even though his Shemita prophecy was a total bust, Michael Snyder insists that Cahn was right and "it is just the beginning."

  • More trouble for Ron Luce and his struggling Teen Mania ministry.
  • American Vision has announced that Dr. Joel McDurmon has been tapped to take over for Dr. Gary DeMar as president of the organization.
  • Finally, Erik Rush has some thoughts:
  • Pray tell, what constitutionally guaranteed rights have been denied homosexuals in recent memory? Their perceived “right to marry” is a wholly subjective interpretation of law, and ensuring homosexuals anything under the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment is a lube-slathered slope toward their legitimately demanding whatever their perverted little hearts desire in the future. Practical labs in fisting for kindergartners, anyone?

Right Wing Bonus Tracks 9/30/15

We have lived in America for all these decades and never really had to pay anything for being followers of Christ. Those days are over."
  • Finally, John Piper explains that "sex belongs to Christians" and is for Christians only: "The heavens are telling the glory of God. We are to see it. And worship him. So it is with the breasts of our wives. The breasts are telling the glory of God, the goodness of God, the beauty of God and more. We are to see it. And worship Him."

  • Bobby Jindal wants to make sure everyone knows that Willie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” did not switch his endorsement to Donald Trump.

  • Once again, Glenn Beck is "going to turn over a new leaf" and if any of his previous declarations are any indication, it will probably lead to no discernible difference in any way whatsoever.
  • Lance Wallnau has a beef with Pope Francis.
  • Barbara Simpson also has concerns: "Is the pope socialist? A communist? I don’t know, but I hope we find out before the Church is destroyed from within."
  • Finally, Julio Severo is not happy with the nomination of Eric Fanning to serve as Secretary of the Army: "I am sure that in Obama’s and Fanning’s case, the Father of America would approve sentence on them and he would treat, with abhorrence and detestation, their sodomy and sodomy advocacy as an infamous crime. In the least, Obama would be expelled from the U.S. presidency and Fanning would be expelled from Army, both with dishonor, never to return. Both have committed treason against the Father of America."

Glenn Beck has now completely dropped his principled opposition to the use of boycotts, declaring on his radio program today that "the time has come for boycotts." Speaking of Beck, isn't his assertion that Ted Cruz possesses an "audiographic memory" that allows him to exactly repeat anything he hears verbatim because it "imprints on him an audio file" somewhat undercut by the fact that Cruz was unable to perfectly reenact a scene from "The Princess Bride"? Burt Prelutsky says that "more and more, as you look around... MORE

Liberty University is reportedly a front-runner to host a Republican presidential debate in January. Anti-gay megadonor Sean Fieler finds a friend in Ted Cruz. Rick Joyner says that if he had to vote today, he'd vote for Donald Trump. Gee, what a surprise! Recently released tax scofflaw Kent Hovind told Bryan Fischer today that he intends to sue the federal government for $9 million for false imprisonment (a million dollars for every year he spent behind bars). Speaking of Fischer, he has some concerns that Ben Carson may not be anti-gay enough. Similarly, Peter LaBarbera is worried that one of Marco Rubio's billionaire backers is too pro-gay: "I think this is very dangerous, and the whole party is trending in a pro-gay direction – so there's a lot to worry about ... It doesn't matter if you're a... MORE
