Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/17/14

  • Rick Santorum will reportedly announce by June of 2015 whether he is going to run for president.
  • William Gheen asks ALIPAC members to tell their members of Congress: "My family did not fight two World Wars and a Revolutionary War to protect America's Constitution and freedoms for you to facilitate Obama acting as a dictator and aiding an invasion of the United States of America that is killing American jobs and killing American citizens!"
  • Jesse Lee Peterson defends Bill Cosby: "The liberal elite power brokers in the Democratic Party can’t allow Cosby’s call for responsibility to get a foothold in the black community because it threatens the powerful grip they have on black voters."
  • Matt Barber likens Scott Lively to Jesus.
  • David Lane anticipates that soon "'the piercing arrow from God’s quiver' will open all eyes to the advantages of a Christian culture — a way of life stolen in 1963 by the false god of Secularism."
  • Finally, Glenn Beck reveals that God told him that "what you do in your life will be a pivot point" when he was seven years old.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/14/14

  • Deep thoughts from Glenn Beck: "Hatred is an illness. Love is the cure. Let's be the pharmacy and give away the store."
  • Rick Joyner says that if President Obama issues an executive order on immigration "it could very well lead to the impeachment of the President."
  • Get ready for "Old Fashioned," the Christian film that is going to take down "Fifty Shades of Grey."
  • Mark Creech warns that "homosexual activists will never be satisfied with same-sex marriage only ... Their objective is to silence all opposition to their sexual sin either by delusion or legal means."
  • Bryan Fischer blames the Supreme Court for school violence.
  • Finally, BarbWire continues to serve as the leading outlet for virulenty anti-gay columnists like Julio Severo: "If Sodom gave the world an untrained and unsophisticated homosexual militancy, America can be proud that she has surpassed Sodom, by giving the world an aggressive, trained and sophisticated homosexual militancy."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/13/14

  • Jerry Boykin calls upon military leaders to inform President Obama that "I can no longer support your ill-advised and reckless policies that I regard as threats to national security and the welfare of our men and women in uniform" and resign in protest.
  • Focus on the Family's Glenn Stanton has a new book out entitled "Loving My (LGBT) Neighbor."
  • Tim Brown says that "the reason people can’t take bisexuality seriously is because it is a mental illness that needs to be corrected via repentance, not coddled like a three-year-old. The same thing applies with homosexuals. They are not taken as a legitimate lifestyle choice by the world’s population because it is unnatural."
  • Peter LaBarbera believes that "the government should be taking steps to discourage men and boys from practicing homosexual behavior."
  • Finally, Glenn Beck will be releasing his first feature film next year and it is about a warrior Santa Clause tasked with protecting Jesus Christ. We really are at a loss for words:

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/12/14

  • Matt Barber is furious that the AP ran a story about a gay World War II vet: "To make this about sexual identity politics, and to focus on this individual's abhorrent sexual proclivities and his lifestyle choices, and to somehow elevate those disordered behaviors as something to be proud of, is really offensive."
  • William Gheen says that it may be time for a third party if the GOP passes any sort of immigration reform legislation.
  • Once again, we feel compelled to point out that government officials who resign from their positions rather than uphold the law is not an example of Christians being forced out of their jobs.
  • Alan Robertson says that America will collapse unless it repents for its sins.
  • Linda Wall stopped being gay after she read the Bible: "God had said homosexuality was wrong and that settled it!"
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer says the next president must be "an unapologetic man of Christian faith who reveres the Word of God, immerses himself in it and is guided by it."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/10/14

  • Apparently Ingrid Schlueter is in danger of being sued by her own father, Vic Eliason of VCY America.
  • Sen. Ted Cruz clearly does not understand Net Neutrality.
  • Matt Barber says that just as "there is no such thing as the Easter Bunny ... There is no such thing as 'same-sex marriage.'"

  • Finally, more claims that President Obama is not a Christian: "[I]f Obama is anything, he is a Politician. His religion is politics; his pursuit is power."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/7/14

  • What a surprise: “[O]n average, states with a photo ID law had 4.4 percentage points lower turnout than those that did not.”
  • Allen West has been tapped to lead the conservative National Center for Policy Analysis.
  • We wonder how Religious Right activists will react if Sen. Rob Portman, a Republican who supports marriage equality, decides to run for president.
  • Bradlee Dean warns that “Obama’s allies are America’s enemies! His support comes from communist nations, as well as the enemies Americans tolerate within.”
  • Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council is not happy with New York Times reporter Josh Barro.
  • Concerned Women for America’s Penny Nance praises the Bush appointees on the Sixth Circuit Court who upheld four states’ bans on same-sex marriage: “If there is any hope of a limited consensus on this issue, it stems from this decision.”

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/6/14

  • Gov. Bobby Jindal will reportedly be hosting a David Lane-organized prayer rally in Louisiana in January, much like Gov. Rick Perry did in Texas in 2011.
  • Rick Joyner says "No President has been so resoundingly rebuked by the American people as was done with the Elections of 2014. The House now has its largest majority in history, and it is Republican." Neither of those claims are true.
  • Tony Perkins claims that "as conservatives, we aren’t looking for businesses to take our side." Oh, really?
  • James Robison is cautiously optimistic about the election results: "God has mercifully given us the opportunity to see our nation awaken and begin the healing process. The runaway train now known to be an out-of-control, excessive, secular progressive (basically socialistic) federal government has at least been slowed, but not yet brought under control."
  • It is 2014 and the Republicans have finally elected a black woman to serve in the House of Representatives, so naturally Glenn Beck sees that as proof that Martin Luther King's dream has finally come true. Way to go Republicans! Oh, by the way, the first black woman to serve in Congress was a Democrat and she was elected in 1968.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/5/14

  • Ben Carson has officially changed his party affiliation to Republican, because one needs to get all one's ducks in a row before launching a pointless vanity campaign for president.
  • Right-wing activists who screamed about Democrats in the Senate implementing the "nuclear option" are predictably asking Sen. Mitch McConnell to retain it now that it might benefit Republicans.
  • There is something quite amusing about Glenn Beck thinking that people being spectacularly wrong ought to be cause for embarrassment.
  • Samuel Rodriguez seems to think that placing Republicans in control of Congress will now help the passage of comprehensive immigration reform.
  • Finally, despite the best efforts of right-wing groups, Lawrence VanDyke lost his Montana Supreme Court campaign.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/4/14

  • Glenn Beck's constantly shifting positions are now starting to confuse even his loyal audience, with one listener saying today, "I feel like I’m taking crazy pill" just trying to figure out Beck's contradictory stances.
  • David Lane issues a word of warning: "Secularism’s worldliness will only tolerate Christianity so long as its carnal tranquility is not disturbed or its authority challenged. But let the Christian bring his biblical values to the political arena, and he is immediately denounced as narrow-minded, out of step, behind the times, and a religious bigot."
  • Richard Land says that pastors in Houston "have felt the cold, suppressive hand of government and the attempt by the gay rights thought police to weaponize government against them."
  • James O'Keefe thinks that he is a "threat to the media."

  • Army Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi was released from a Mexican prison over the weekend after having spent over eight month incarcerated for illegally transporting weapons into the country.
  • Rachel Alexander knows that "catcalls bother feminists because they're jealous": "Feminists are highly critical of women who choose to make a significant effort to look attractive. If they can stop men from complimenting pretty women, they won't have to observe it and feel pangs of jealousy."
  • Laurie Roth has some advice: "Do not forget the truth about Islam, the gay agenda and Illegal aliens when you go to vote soon. Most of us don’t want to hurt anyone and their rights, however, we won’t put up with groups rewriting and destroying all our rights, crushing our real history, Judeo/Christian values and Constitution."
  • Finally, we'd like to point out to Janet Porter that anti-gay magistrates resigning from office in North Carolina rather than perform gay weddings is not an example of Christians being forced out of office. They chose to resign rather than follow the law.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/31/14

  • Glenn Beck insists that his "predictions are pretty accurate just never with the timing right," which is really just a cop-out way of saying that his wild claims can never be proven wrong because it is always possible that they just haven't happened yet.
  • Liberals are just like Dracula.
  • Todd Starnes is a proud six-day Creationist.
  • Obviously, this case of a reportedly Christian man beheading his friend for practicing witchcraft means we need to ban all Christians from immigrating to America, right Bryan Fischer?
  • Finally, FRC prays for the upcoming elections: "Lord, we have less than a week before Americans choose their nation’s political destiny. You know what all is at stake. Grant your Church heart-felt repentance at every level. Among the sins for which we must repent, help those who are called by your name to repent of our failure to love our neighbors and nation enough to diligently vote, and to vote for men and women who will uphold righteous and just laws. May believers everywhere pray and fast this week as they plan to cast their votes. Have mercy and redeem our nation, a nation you have blessed beyond any nation in history, but which has declined precipitously under our watch. Guide your people this Election Day and may our choices be pleasing to You."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/30/14

  • Finally, Bryan Fischer says that Christians and Muslims most certainly do not worship the same god because "our God has a Son while their god does not." We feel compelled to point out that if that is the case, then Christians and Jews do not worship the same god either.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/29/14

  • Houston Mayor Annise Parker has announced that the subpoenas sent to five area pastors have been withdrawn.
  • David Benham was on hand in Ohio last night to a support radical right-wing pastor's fight against a local strip club.
  • A good question: "Is Ebola a Sign of Judgment or a Prophetic Warning?"
  • Is anyone surprised that there is now a right-wing effort underway to get nurse Kaci Hickox fired from her job for refusing to submit to involuntary quarantine after she returned from treating Ebola patients in Sierra Leone?
  • Janet Mefferd is not happy with Russell Moore for "playing right into the hands of Big Gay."
  • Personhood Alliance has announced a "ground-breaking campaign to launch pro-life ballot initiatives at the county and municipal level across the country in 2015."

  • Bryan Fischer says Religious Right voters need to decide now to get behind either Ted Cruz or Mike Huckabee for president in 2016.

  • Finally, Deacon Keith Fournier declares that anti-gay Christians will never stop fighting gay marriage: "The belligerent effort to silence supporters of marriage is fully underway. Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/27/14

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/24/14

  • The Catholic League's Bill Donohue is calling for a Federal Marriage Amendment: "As any astute political science undergraduate knows, there is no constitutional right to gay marriage. But now that this issue has been thrust upon us by our constitutional law professor president, we need to affirm marriage between a man and a woman in the U.S. Constitution."
  • MassResistance has a simple fourteen point plan on how to "stop the 'gay marriage' steamroller."
  • Because Bryan Fischer is a paragon of dishonesty and misinformation, he can't understand why President Obama named Ron Klain as his "Ebola czar" since Klain supposedly thinks that the world has too many Africans and Asians.
  • Dave Welch tells Gordon Klingenschmitt that he and other pastors are prepared to go to jail rather than comply with subpoenas to hand over their sermons.
  • Finally, working for Glenn Beck has literally got to be the worst job in the world, as his staff are stuck being lectured by him every day as he flails about, desperately trying to figure out what he is doing.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/23/14

  • "Coach" Dave Daubenmire has a warning to pastors: "They are going to make you marry homosexuals. They are going to throw you in jail and seize your church if you don’t. The devil and his kids do not play fair…they play dirty. You’re going to experience first-hand whether or not you will avoid 'the wrath' you assured us we would not have to endure."
  • Mike Huckabee faces a tough decision: run for president or stay at Fox News and make a lot of money.
  • Dr. Laurie Roth knows what women want: "Real women in America want God fearing, Constitution and freedom loving servants serving in the HOUSE and SENATE. We are sick of the egomaniac who has taken over the White House. We demand that real men be real men…not this fake ‘metro-sexual’ garbage. Real men are not sound bite experts. They don’t say the perfect thing at the perfect time. They don’t always smell right, look right are act right but they 99,9% of the time do right. Women want men with integrity, grit, and courage and yes…honor who love right and fight right."
  • Dave Welch says the gays are "systematically deconstructing God’s created order."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/21/14

  • Mat Staver has resigned from his position as dean of the Liberty University School of Law.
  • Samuel Rodriguez declares that the supposed threat to religious liberty is "the single greatest civil rights threat of our time."
  • Jerry Boykin and Kamal Saleem have written a novel together!
  • Gina Miller declares that Christians must fight gay marriage with everything that they have because this is "just the beginning of the war on our freedoms being waged by the soldiers of Sodom West.  It is more important than ever that Christians and other right-minded people resist this evil movement."
  • Finally, BarbWire continues to provide a venue for all sorts of virulently anti-gay columnists to post their bigoted rants: "[I]f you have a problem with me using terms like 'queer,' 'homosexual,' and 'sodomite,' you might want to check yourself. This is what these people are. They are not 'gay.' They are degenerates and they have your children as a target."
