Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/9/15

  • James Dobson is out with his latest monthly newsletter and he is predictably still freaking out about the Supreme Court's gay marriage ruling and its implications: "It is the beginning – an open door to the entire gay and lesbian agenda coveted and lusted after since the 1960s or before."
  • Bill Donohue reveals that he will be among of group who will be meeting with Pope Francis when he visits the United States later this month.
  • Sylvia Thompson issues a dire warning: "What Kim Davis faces is pure fascism cloaked in victimhood, and the evil must be fought and fought vigorously, lest this nation become the latter-day Sodom on which path it is currently headed."
  • Jan Markell says that Sen. Al Franken has "engaged, I think, in the worse form of treason and committed the most gravest of crimes."
  • Finally, CBN's David Brody proclaims that the jailing of Kim Davis is a victory of the Religious Right:
  • Look, can we get real for a moment? Liberals, if she ends up back in jail, do you really think that’s a victory for you? Hardly. If she goes back to the slammer, the evangelical voices and mobilization will just increase exponentially. No, if Kim Davis goes back to jail the sleeping giant (evangelicals in America) will arise even more. Trust me, that’s the last thing liberals want. Evangelicals, especially pastors in the pulpit have been relatively silent as the culture has deteriorated for decades. Don’t you want them to stay sleeping? You’re playing with fire.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/8/15

  • Rep. Louie Gohmert says that he may not run for re-election if the Iran nuclear deal is not defeated. Apparently, he thinks that is some sort of threat.
  • Robert Reilly, author of "Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything," will be the keynote speaker at Peter LaBarbera's annual fundraising dinner next month.
  • Larry Pratt and the radical Second Amendment activists over at Gun Owners of America have endorsed Ted Cruz for president.
  • If this quote from Sarah Palin doesn't perfectly sum up today's GOP, I don't know what does: "I think I’d rather have a president who is tough and puts America first than can win a game of Trivial Pursuit."
  • Matt Barber wants "a million more bold Christians like Kim Davis."
  • A.J. Castellitto agrees that "we must all become Kim Davis" because the gay "agenda is the undermining of the Godly standard and the normalization of homosexuality. The intentions are fundamental demonic transformation of the culture and eradication of the last remnants of Christian truth from mainstream society."
  • Finally, Donald Trump never served in the military but he "always felt that I was in the military" because he attended a military-themed boarding school where he received "more training militarily than a lot of the guys that go into the military."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/4/15

  • Bryan Fischer says that "Kim Davis is Rosa Parks" while Mat Staver compares her to Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
  • On a related note, Concerned Women for America and Travis Weber of the Family Research Council say the Supreme Court is to blame for Davis' predicament because it issued its gay marriage ruling in the first place.
  • Bradlee Dean fumes: "When a sodomite confronts a county clerk for not handing out state licenses in violation of Gods Moral law and calls it bigotry, homophobia or hate, we, as Americans, need to realize that they are willfully ignorant or just plain wicked. And the wicked are those who know the truth, but choose not to obey the truth."
  • Franklin Graham says that Davis' jailing "is exactly what we feared would result from the Supreme Court's disastrous ruling in June ... As Kim fights this battle, she is really fighting for religious freedom for all of us."
  • Finally, Bill Federer warns that America is following ancient Rome's road to ruin.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/3/15

  • "Respected prophet" Cindy Jacobs says that "historic changes will take place in the coming days that will be a prophetic catalyst for a great awakening."
  • Laurie Higgins has some thoughts: "One’s sex cannot change, which is a fact with which even leftists agree. Bruce Jenner is not now, nor ever has been, nor ever will be a woman. He can pretend and with enough money the mask and costume he wears to the cultural masquerade may become increasingly convincing. But to aid and abet his delusional desires, he needs to eliminate all glimmers of truth."
  • Glenn Beck is, yet again, ashamed to be an American citizen.
  • FRC prays against Planned Parenthood: "May God give congressional leaders courage to stand up to the evil of Planned Parenthood. May they lead to permanently prevent Americans from being forced to fund Planned Parenthood! "
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer blasts Ben Carson for supporting civil unions: "As a medical professional who is committed to restoring human health in any way possible, he should be opposing the normalization of sodomy with every fiber of his being rather than looking for a way to accommodate it. As a medical doctor, he should no more support civil unions than he would support the normalization of IV drug abuse."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/2/15

  • Glenn Beck is predictably outraged that the media did not understand how amazingly life-changing his "Restoring Unity" rally really was.
  • Discredited anti-gay researcher Mark Regnerus has been added to the lineup for the World Congress of Families conference in Utah next month.
  • Franklin Graham is traveling to all 50 states for his "Decision America Tour" in an effort to "urge Christians not only to vote but also to engage by running for political office at all levels—local, state, and federal. We need Christian judges, Christian assembly members, and Christian mayors. We need Christian clerks of court, school board members, governors, and, of course, senators and representatives."
  • Ex-gay and anti-gay activists are holding a "Clarity Conference" in Oklahoma later this month.
  • Finally, in case she hasn't already made it abundantly clear, BarbWire's Gina Miller does not like homosexuality: "It’s about the destruction of freedom, and specifically, the destruction of Christian freedom.  Truth does not change, and the truth about homosexuality does not change.  Homosexual behavior is sin.  It’s destructive and dangerous.  It’s unnatural.  It’s immoral.  It’s a gross perversion of God’s design for human sexuality.  It’s naturally repulsive to those who retain a functioning moral compass."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/1/15

  • Rowan County, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis continues to refuse to abide by court orders to provide marriage licenses to gay couples because, she says, "it is a Heaven or Hell decision."
  • Due to her refusal, Davis now gets to appear in court later this week to explain to a judge why she shouldn't be held in contempt.
  • The National Organization for Marriage, of course, fully supports Davis and declares that, like her, "NOM will never bow to a lie, nor will we salute what is evil."
  • Franklin Graham has some thoughts: "Isn’t it a shame that universities all across the country are allowing the LGBT community to push their propaganda on America’s young people!"
  • Todd Starnes also has some thoughts: "Friends - the time has come for President Obama to order the race agitators to stand down. Immediately!"
  • Glenn Beck knows what is "really" going on with the Mt. McKinley name change: It's all misdirection!
  • Finally, a "Christian woman" explains her support for Donald Trump using, quite possibly, the least convincing argument ever:
  • "Although I am not sure that Donald Trump has ever decisively made Jesus the Lord of his life, I have seen something about his heart by observing his current views. There is a somewhat curious repentance that seems to have taken place in his life—a dramatic shifting away from the ungodly liberal ideologies, and a determination to further Christian-friendly policies. Simply put, if not born again, Mr. Trump’s heart does seem to be steered by the Lord. When he changes his view about a matter, it seems to be because of a realization on his part that his former paradigm was simply wrong. From what I can tell, his switching of positions has nothing whatsoever to do with politics and everything to do with conscience."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/31/15

  • CBN's David Brody bravely comes to Donald Trump's defense against some random Huffington Post blog post.
  • Larry Kudlow is vowing to run for the Senate if Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal votes for the Iran nuclear deal.
  • Some exciting astronomy news! "A historical researcher claims to have discovered what appears to be a representation of the crucifixion 'in the stars' on the day he is believed to have died."
  • The Benham brothers say "America is disintegrating before our very eyes under the weight of postmodernism (without truth and a moral code), and people are hurting everywhere."
  • Finally, two weeks ago, Glenn Beck said that he wasn't even inviting the media to cover his "Restoring Unity" rally because the event was really only about being seen by God. The rally took place last weekend and Beck predictably spent the opening of his radio show today complaining that the media didn't cover it.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/28/15

  • Ted Cruz and Donald Trump will be holding an event in Washington, D.C. to oppose the Iran nuclear deal and Glenn Beck will also be participating.
  • Bryan Fischer has some "advice to teens on dating."
  • A warning from Scott Lively: "Sexual Orientation Regulations (SORs) (also known as sexual orientation anti-discrimination policies) are the most devious tactic of the LGBT movement for stripping Christians of First Amendment protections and setting the stage for the 'gay' takeover of any social, political or cultural entity.   These SORs are the seed that contains the entire tree of the homosexual agenda with all of its poisonous fruit."
  • Mat Staver warns that if government officials are not allow to discriminate against gays, then "that's a completely different America. That's no longer the shining city on a hill."
  • Finally, BarbWire's Tristan Emmanuel rails against Christians who think they can reach out to gay activists in "love": "They are examples of the enemies of Christ ... The only kind of 'love' these wolves deserve is the full weight of the law bearing down on them and putting them in their rightful place – a place where they have to learn to live, and let live. A place where they should thank their lucky stars that Evangelicals are eminently more tolerant and long suffering then say, they are, or, say, members of ISIS."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/27/15

  • Donald Trump loves the Bible so much that he doesn't even want to talk about it because it is just too personal.
  • "This is the time I was born for," says Glenn Beck.
  • There is a pretty obvious "explanation for the reason we weren’t able to find Saddam’s nukes": He buried them in the desert and now they're going to be found by ISIS and used against the U.S. Thanks, Obama!
  • Ted Cruz brags that 'if you look at Donald Trump's immigration plan, many of the elements of that plan are directly from legislation that I've introduced in the Senate and that I've been fighting for."
  • Finally, Erik Rush says that if communists had simply been murdered en masse back in the 1920s, everything would be fine today:
  • Now, I’m not even going to pretend to be objective here; remember, I’m the guy who said that the federal government, the states, organized militias – someone – should have taken it upon themselves to cut down communist marchers with tommy guns en masse back in the 1920s, that communism should have been banned outright, and that comprehensive counterintelligence programs should have been implemented to quash the advancement of any person or organization even remotely evidencing communist or socialist leanings. Had these things occurred, America would not at this very moment be teetering on the brink of totalitarian collectivism with a cabal of subversive radicals at the helm. "

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/26/15

  • A warning from Linda Harvey: "When our dominant religious institutions degenerate into advocating inhumane 'human rights' and unhealthy, bizarre sex practices, America needs to take note. The end of civilization may be closer than we think."
  • The Josh Duggar saga rolls on.
  • President Donald Trump will win the War on Christmas: "I will assault that. I will go so strongly against so many of the things, when they take away the word Christmas. I go out of my way to use the word Christmas."
  • Peter Brimelow says "I think we should simply invade Cuba and overthrow the communist regime. Then maybe America could have Miami back."
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer knows what is to blame for today's killing for a journalist and cameraman in Virginia: "The problem was not that there were too many guns in this situation, it was that there were too few."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/25/15

  • NOM needs donations because "same-sex 'marriage' activists have adopted what is essentially a totalitarian regime — they want every American to be forced to accept gay 'marriage' and are prepared to invoke the full power of the federal government to force everyone to accept the sham ruling the Court handed down."
  • Dustin Siggins and David Flynn explain "Why Same-Sex Marriage Will Never Measure Up To The Real Thing."
  • It seems that a few BarbWire columnists are not fans of Donald Trump, with one even comparing him to Joseph McCarthy.
  • Noah Beck offers a convoluted explanation of why "the best possible outcome, at this point, would be a Congressional resolution that rejects the Iran deal but then gets vetoed by Obama" because this is the only way to save Israel.
  • Finally, Phyllis Schlafly says "the world can probably survive a woman as U.N. secretary general, but not the emasculation of America’s elite combat units."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/24/15

  • Scott Lively warns that the Equality Act should be called the "Gaystapo Empowerment Act" because "it will give homosexual activists and their allies the legal power to attack and punish Christians and other pro-family advocates in virtually every sphere of American life."
  • Roger Schlafly approves of Slovakia's decision to accept only Christian refugees from Syria.
  • Onan Coca warns that "the fascist atheist movement will brook no disobedience from the faithful. They will use every means in their power to enslave the majority with their politically correct anti-God behavior."
  • Craige McMillan wants Nuremberg-like trials for Planned Parenthood officials.
  • Finally, Glenn Beck reacted to today's stock market decline exactly as you would expect: "Do you have food, cash on hand, guns and GOD?"

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/21/15

  • Tony Perkins says that Josh Duggar's "deceitful behavior harms his family, his friends, his former coworkers, and the cause he has publicly espoused."
  • Bradlee Dean warns that the end of capital punishment leads to God's judgment.
  • Larry Tomczak declares that "because of rampant homosexuality, abortion, pornography, abandonment of Israel, widespread political corruption, obscene debt accumulation and celebration of immorality in America, judgment is at hand."
  • OANN's Graham Ledger says that some undocumented immigrants might already be "self-deporting" because they're afraid Donald Trump will be elected president
  • Finally, a warning from James Robison: "It is only the grace and mercy of God that prevents our nation from being destroyed. God is still our shelter, but if as a nation we continue on the present rebellious course, the hedge of protection will come down. We are already seeing it happen ... If we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries. It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/20/15

  • Bill Muehlenberg takes a heroic stand: "OK, so banish me now. Exile me. Or jail me. Or even put me to death for my dastardly beliefs. But no matter how demonised and abused by the homosexual statists, I will never refrain from speaking up for truth – and for marriage and children."
  • OneMillionMoms is going after companies for advertising on "I Am Jazz," because it is "attempting to normalize the transgender lifestyle and make it appear OK."
  • Laurie Higgins tells parents that they must "notify their children's teachers ... that under no circumstances are their children to be exposed to resources that embody and espouse liberal ideas about the nature and morality of homosexuality."
  • Erik Rush says liberals "perpetuate the lie of a white supremacist America, and they demand our silence as Islamists, militant homosexuals and parasitic invaders from a host of culturally bankrupt latrines run roughshod over us."
  • Is Michelle Obama planning on running for president? No. But that isn't going to stop WND from reporting on "rumors" that she might!
  • Finally, Michael T. Snyder warns that something big is going to happen in September ... or maybe not: "I am fully convinced that the months ahead are going to dramatically change life in America, but whether it happens right now or not, I am 100-percent convinced that a great shaking is coming to this nation at some point."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/19/15

  • Jennifer LeClaire did not appreciate John Oliver's segment on televangelists who preach the "prosperity gospel."
  • Donald Trump's call to end birthright citizenship is winning support on the Right.
  • Ann Coulter says women support building a border fence and mass deportation because "they're the ones getting raped."
  • Pamela Geller has some thoughts on an FBI report about the threat of attacks on Muslims by right-wing extremists: "This is further proof of Obama’s perfidy and treachery. The FBI is targeting those who oppose jihad terror. America is woefully unprepared for the horror of what’s coming."
  • Joseph Farah's love for the works of Jonathan Cahn has now manifested itself in the form of a film about his life called "The Harbinger Man."
  • Matt Barber warns that the fight for equality by gay rights activists is "nothing short of an effort to engage in religious cleansing."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/18/15

  • Some helpful advice from Michael Youssef: "It is time for those within the homosexual movement to reassess their fight against Christians and evangelicals. And more importantly, it is time for them to seek to know the Savior. By coming to the Savior with repentance and faith—just like the rest of us have done who have come to the Savior—He will have mercy on them and deliver them."
  • Phyllis Schlafly fumes that the "Army favors gays over patriotism."
  • Janet Porter says that "Governor John Kasich must either support the pro-life Heartbeat Bill or quit calling himself pro-life."

  • Anthony LoBaido fantasizes that "perhaps abortion will cease only if a still unforeseen global biological holocaust puts into doubt the very survival of all of the world’s infants, toddlers and children."
  • Finally, Janet Porter tells parents to get their sons out of the Boy Scouts because "instead of keeping the oath to God, they have caved to the homosexual agenda which puts young boys at risk."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/14/15

  • Glenn Beck has some advice for Target: "A guy is a guy and a girl is girl. And that’s all there is to it."
  • Burt Prelutsky declares that "it doesn’t say much about all those black Americans who take to the streets every time a black criminal is killed by a cop doing his job, but they never seem to notice or to give a damn that 501 black babies are aborted for every thousand who are allowed to live."
  • Steve Crampton warns about the effort to strike down Mississippi's law banning adoptions by same-sex couples: "These are desperate times; they call for desperate measures. We want to stay within the law and urge others, of course, to remain non-violent in their activism – but I think it is a time for right-thinking, God-fearing Americans to stand up and speak out against the tyranny of the judiciary."
  • Laurie Higgins tells parents that they must demand "that their young children not be exposed to any material or activities that embody Leftist assumptions about homosexuality or gender confusion."

  • Mike Huckabee says that God will once again be able to bless America if Planned Parenthood is defunded.

Ben Carson knows what’s to blame for the fall of the Roman Empire: gay marriage. Donald Trump is courting a group of televangelists and faith-healers. Bobby Jindal wants to make sure everyone knows that Willie Robertson of “Duck Dynasty” did not switch his endorsement to Donald Trump. Bill Muehlenberg of BarbWire says God sanctioned the death penalty so if opponents think it’s wrong then “they really need to deal with God about it”: “It is time we let God be God in these areas, and not insist that we can somehow do a better job... Dinesh D'Souza is working on a new movie that will "look at the secret history of progressivism and of the Democratic Party." You really have to feel for the person over at FRC who was tasked with transcribing Donald Trump's word salad of a speech at the Values Voter Summit. Once again, Glenn Beck is "going to turn over a new leaf" and if any of his previous declarations are any indication, it will probably lead to no discernible difference in any way whatsoever. Lance Wallnau has a beef with Pope Francis. Barbara Simpson also has concerns:... MORE

Fringe right-wing activist and "imprecatory prayer" aficionado Wiley Drake is making a run for the presidency! Apparently, "Game of Thrones is so popular because the sexual immorality it exhibits is so popular." Beware! The U.N. is plotting to create a one-world "global state," just as was "predicted by the biblical prophets." Glenn Beck is now openly promoting Seven Mountains theology on his radio program. FRC is not exactly welcoming Pope Francis with open arms: "May American Christians give the Pope a hearty welcome! When hearing his views on 'Climate Change,' economic policy, and proposed Palestinian State, may they be like the Bereans who respectfully and eagerly listened to the Apostle Paul but examined the Scriptures daily to see if what he taught was true." Donald Trump is now boycotting Fox News because the network "has been treating me very unfairly." A good question: "Where Are the Cross-Inspired Doritos?" Bill Muehlenberg says that... MORE

Ben Carson says that America should not elect a president who will not "swear to place our Constitution above their religion." He was talking about Muslims, but that would obviously also eliminate the likes of Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum, and Mike Huckabee, as well as the entire Religious Right movement. Unsurprisingly, Carson's Muslim-bashing has been very good for his presidential campaign coffers. Sher Zieve warns that "no nation has ever survived the treason which is now an every day occurrence in what was once our White House." Phyllis Schlafly says... MORE

Peter LaBarbera is predictably outraged by the news that a gay man has been nominated to serve as Secretary of the Army: "Homosexuality is deviant sexual conduct. Sodomy is immoral, unnatural, and condemned by God. Now we have the military going from George Washington, who drummed a homosexual out of the military, to the U.S. Army being led by an open homosexual." Jesse Lee Peterson knows just what Donald Trump is going through: "I know how it feels to be attacked the way Trump was in the two debates. For the last 25 years, I’ve been set up in the same manner. Anti-gay activists are waging a "superhuman effort" to defeat Houston's anti-discrimination ordinance because "part of the homosexual agenda is to destroy religious freedom." Don't you just hate it "when apostles and prophets use prophetic witchcraft against you"?
