WorldNetDaily founder Joseph Farah is organizing a National Day of Prayer and Fasting on September 11, and it’s kind of a big deal.
In fact, as Farah told Rick Wiles yesterday, it’s “our last chance” to save America from God’s judgment.
Speaking with Farah on his TruNews program, Wiles declared that America has gone “over a cliff” and “the next sound we’re going to hear will be the splat.” Farah’s day of prayer, then, is “a matter of life and death.” Farah agreed, adding, “It’s our last chance.”

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah today promoted his 9/11 National Day of Prayer event by warning that a Supreme Court decision in favor of marriage equality will mean that the high court is “legally destroying the very building block of our civilization.” Farah claims that such a ruling will make America fall “into oligarchy and tyranny” and eventually “the dustbin of history like so many empires before it.”
In a few weeks, the U.S. Supreme [sic] will make rulings in two cases that will determine whether America continues as a self-governing nation under... MORE >

Reacting yesterday to NBA player Jason Collins’ coming out, the Christian Broadcasting Network’s David Brody argued that it doesn’t take much courage to come out these days because being gay is “hip,” “chic” and “the thing to do.” Of course, if Brody’s boss Pat Robertson had his way, Collins would be completely shunned by society.
Just a thought on the Jason Collins story. I’m not denying it took some guts to come out as gay when you’re a professional sports player but let’s also get a little perspective here.... MORE >

Michele Bachmann has heartily endorsed the WorldNetDaily prayer effort to mark the anniversary of the September 11 attacks by praying against terrorism, nuclear war and homosexuality. WND editor and birther leader Joseph Farah claimed today that the day of prayer is needed to stop comprehensive immigration reform, the government’s supposed plans to stockpile weapons to “impose de facto firearms restrictions on citizens” and gay rights advocates who seek to “make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.”
Have you ever had the feeling the nation is on the brink... MORE >

Speaking to End Times radio broadcaster Jan Markell, WorldNetDaily editor and birther leader Joseph Farah described his recent tour of Israel with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), which was organized by the American Family Association and included a number of Religious Right activists.
Farah described a cozy relationship with Paul, whose staff he says reached out to him to come on the trip. But Farah did not have kind words for the senator’s father, former congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul, whom he claimed is not a real Christian.
“Ron Paul is hardly a friend to Israel and I... MORE >

Joseph Farah writes today that lawmakers in California and New Jersey who are pushing limits on ex-gay therapy are “promoting sexual anarchy” and “child abuse.” The virluently anti-gay WorldNetDaily editor warns that the “homosexual lobby” is “dangerous and totalitarian in nature” and seeks the “the active recruitment of children into aberrant sexual lifestyles.”
At the same time American society takes this anything-goes approach to sexuality, there is one new glaring taboo being constructed in some states: Counseling and... MORE >

Last week, Ohio Sen. Rob Portman announced that, inspired by his son’s coming out, he now supports marriage equality. Religious Right activists are, of course, responding with a characteristic lack of tact and grace.
Liberty Counsel’s Matt Barber, for example, denounced Portman for trying to “accommodate his son’s abhorrent lifestyle.”
“... Perhaps [the senator’s] love for his son has deceived him in not being able to differentiate between loving his son and helping his son to do the right thing, versus changing his entire worldview and his view of... MORE >

A new Pope has been selected and Erick Erickson adores him already. You'd think that a movie about the wonders of capitalism would take the hint that the market is not interested, but no, "Atlas Shrugged" will get a third installment. Joseph Farah says child sacrifice and same-sex marriage "are linked. They are inextricably linked as behaviors characterized as abominations by the God of the Bible. They both emerge right from the pit of hell." Both Franklin Graham and Richard Land support universal background checks for all gun purchases. Finally,... MORE >
