Wayne Allyn Root Apparently Thinks White Middle Class Males Are The Slaves In Today's Society

Yesterday, Donald Trump-worshiping sycophant Wayne Allyn Root appeared on "Newsmax Prime" to promote his new book, "Angry White Male: How the Donald Trump Phenomenon is Changing America—and What We Can All Do to Save the Middle Class."

Root said that Democrats are intent on destroying white middle class males and that men like him therefore have every right to be outraged about it, just like blacks were angry when they were the victims of slavery and widespread institutional discrimination.

"We have a right to be angry," Root said. "Certainly today they don't say black people, when they were being persecuted, when they were enslaved, when they weren't allowed to vote, when there were poll taxes, when they were treated like second class citizens, when they were being hosed by policemen in the South, do people today say they had no right to complain and be angry?"

Today, Root said, it is white middle class males who are facing this sort of relentless persecution.

Democrats are "looking to destroy us with taxes, with spending, with regulations, with IRS audits, with Obamacare, with climate change, you name it, we're being attacked from every direction," Root fumed, saying that everything that white males like him believe in has been "under massive attack in the United States of America for the last 50 years, but particularly, the last eight years of Barack Obama."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/17/16

  • Just how many reboots is Donald Trump's campaign going to have?
  • Wayne Allyn Root says that "Justice Scalia is begging from his grave" for Republicans to wake up and rally around Trump.
  • Milo Yiannopoulos declares that "God-Emperor Daddy" Trump "has dramatically overtaken the chronically Muslim-friendly Democratic Party on gay rights."
  • Behold the latest right-wing scandal: Hillary Clinton sometimes sits with a pillow behind her back.
  • Finally, Lance Wallnau says that Trump's campaign is prophectic: "The commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem starts with the decree of Cyrus recorded in Ezra 1:1-4. The word starts with rebuilding the house of the Lord. It was this 'Cyrus decree' that worked its way through King Darius and King Artaxerxes till Nehemiah engaged his task to build the wall surrounding Jerusalem. We've got prayers for America still stored up and waiting for release!  These two phases 'the house' and 'the wall' should make believers stop and wonder. This is a direct promise touching the church and restoration of society. The controversy over 'building the wall' in current-day politics is more symbolic than people think."

Wayne Allyn Root: Donald Trump Is A Vicious, Vengeful, Foul-Mouthed 'War President' Sent By God

Yesterday, Wayne Allyn Root, a Donald Trump-worshiping sycophant and all-around conspiracy theorist, appeared on Jesse Lee Peterson's radio program to declare that Trump's presidential campaign is a message from God that "it's time for a war president."

"I think we need a war president and I think God sent us someone named Donald Trump," Root said. "I think he's perfect for this election. We needed someone who is a bit coarse and foul-mouthed and vicious and fights with a gun in a gunfight, not with a knife in a gun fight."

"I think he's the right guy at that right time," he continued, "and I get very mad when Christians try and tell me that they're not going to vote for him because he's just too coarse and too foul and too vicious and he says offensive things. When you read the Bible, I read tons of vengeful things, I read tons of war and death and people being punished by God. God is not always nice; this God takes vengeance when he's mad at you and he sends really vicious people when you need them."

"We're in a war to save America, I think from the devil, I think from the Antichrist, I think from a biblical prophecy that someone is going to take down this country and  it's pretty clear to me it's happening right now," Root concluded.

Wayne Allyn Root: Obama's DNC Speech 'Could Have Been Written By Lucifer Himself' And 'Delivered By The Anti-Christ'

Wayne Allyn Root, the Donald Trump campaign surrogate who predicted in 2014 that we would all die from Ebola if President Obama wasn't forced out of office, wrote in a column today that Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention last night “could have been written by Lucifer himself, to be delivered by the anti-Christ.”

Root blasted Obama as a “psychopath, sociopath and ego-maniac who rules as a tyrant" and claimed that the president sees himself as a god who can exploit “ignorant, naïve and gullible voters.”

“Lucifer himself would be proud,” Root wrote.

I give both political and business speeches all over America, and all over the world. I know a great speech when I see and hear one. Obama’s speech last night at the DNC was masterful. It was one of the greatest political speeches I’ve ever heard.

There was one problem: It was 100 percent fiction, fraud and fantasy.

If it were given by any CEO in America at a shareholders meeting, or a press conference in front of the media, that CEO would face life in prison for fraud and misrepresentation.

Any screenwriter in Hollywood could have made it up out of thin air and won an Academy Award. It could have been a speech written by Bernie Madoff.

It could have been written by Lucifer himself, to be delivered by the anti-Christ.

Obama railed against believing in gods. “No man is a god” was a central theme in his speech. No man can save you. No man can save America. No man can turn around an economy. He was aiming all that at Donald Trump. Except he was describing himself.

Obama is the one who was elected by portraying himself to ignorant, naïve and gullible voters as a god who could walk on water.

Obama himself is the psychopath, sociopath and ego-maniac who rules as a tyrant, by issuing executive orders, ignoring the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law, and making believe Congress doesn’t exist. Every word directed at Trump described Obama, Obama’s last eight years of rule and Obama’s voters.

Lucifer himself would be proud.

Wayne Allyn Root Thinks It's Time For White Men To Speak Out

On “Newsmax Prime with J.D. Hayworth” on Monday, right-wing activist Wayne Allyn Root declared that it was about time for white men to have their voices heard in the political system, calling on white men to finally speak out on the 2016 election so that Hillary Clinton doesn’t bring about “the end of America.”

“We won’t survive another term of Barack Obama and Hillary has said she wants to be an extension of Barack Obama, except from their campaign rhetoric, she’s headed toward Bernie Sanders, which is even more spending than Barack Obama, even more socialism than Obama,” Root said. “So anyone who stays home and sits on their hands and won’t vote for Trump, you get what you deserve. You’re gonna have a socialist nation and the end of America, in my opinion.”

Root, who has campaigned alongside Donald Trump, said white men will be the new “soccer moms.”

“Look at Nice, which just happened days ago,” Root continued. “What a tragedy. And according to Barack Obama, we need some sort of a truck ban, some sort of truck confiscation, truck-free zones. It’s so ludicrous to think the reaction to terrorism is to ban guns in the hands of good people like me and you, JD, and most of middle class America. That’s why I wrote a book called ‘Angry White Male.’ It’s time we spoke out. We’re the soccer moms of the 2016 election.”

Trump Ally Wayne Allyn Root: Hispanics And Muslims Need To Apologize

Wayne Allyn Root, an activist who has campaigned with Donald Trump and fed him conspiracy theories, demanded last week that American Muslims and Latinos apologize for terrorism and crime, claiming that “if Jews were running over the border and illegally coming into America and they all wanted welfare and some of them turned out to be terrorists,” he would similarly want them barred from the country.

“I’ve never seen any major protest by Muslims in the United States of America, like in Dearborn, Michigan, which is a majority-Muslim city, I’ve never seen anyone apologize for their own people,” Root told Florida talk radio host Joyce Kaufman during a discussion of the recent mass shooting in Orlando. “I happen to be Jewish, Joyce. And if Jews were running over the border and illegally coming into America and they all wanted welfare and some of them turned out to be terrorists, some of them turn out to be drunk drivers murdering people, some of them were just murderers and rapists, I would have no problem saying let’s seal the border, I don’t want any more Israelis coming over the border. None. I can’t take it anymore. I have no problem, I’m not a hypocrite. So even if they were my fellow Jews, it doesn’t matter. I like my fellow Jews if they’re law-abiding.”

“So I don’t understand why there’s no Muslims speaking out,” he said, “I don’t understand why there’s no Hispanics speaking out and saying, ‘By the way, I’m Hispanic, I love Hispanics, I want Donald Trump to love Hispanics, but we need a wall because I want legal Hispanics, not illegal Hispanics.’”

Kaufman, who is of Puerto Rican descent, countered that at least she is speaking out.

Rachel Maddow Skewers Donald Trump And One Of His Many Conspiracy Theorist Pals

Last night, Rachel Maddow talked about how Donald Trump has regularly promoted Wayne Allyn Root, the far-right conspiracy theorist, self-help guru and Trump wannabe.

The GOP presidential candidate has never shied away from embracing extremists, so it was no surprise when he picked Root to introduce him at a Las Vegas rally last year.

Trump, as Maddow noted, was particularly enthralled by Root’s bizarre claim that Obama never attended Columbia University and simultaneously was radicalized to become an anti-American “Manchurian candidate” by his left-wing professors while attending Columbia University.

Trump even called on hackers to expose Obama’s “college records”:

One of Root’s most ridiculous conspiracy theories, one touted by Trump and mocked by President Obama in a recent speech, was that the president was purposefully letting people infected with Ebola flood into the U.S. in 2014 as part of his dream of “taking down this country.”

“We’ve got to remove him from office and fast,” Root said, “before he kills all of us”:

“In addition to the ‘Power of Relentless,’ in addition to claiming President Obama didn’t really go to Columbia, he also said during the Ebola crisis that if President Obama wasn’t somehow forcibly removed from office, we would all die from Ebola,” Maddow said. “All of us.”

Much like Root, she continued, Trump has his own record of making “ludicrous” and “preposterous” statements, so many that it is difficult to hold him to account “just because of the sheer number of things he has said that fit that bill.”

“When you’re that ridiculous that frequently, do people stop being shocked? Do we get inured? Does nothing seem too shocking? Does nothing seem too idiotic or dangerous or blatantly racist anymore?” she asked.

The best way to ridicule Trump’s beliefs, she concluded, is restating his own words and “letting people laugh at them.”

Wayne Allyn Root Explains Why Liberals On Welfare Are Responsible For All The Violence At Trump Rallies

There are few people in America who can match Donald Trump when it comes to shameless narcissism and self-promotion, but right-wing activist Wayne Allyn Root certainly shares many of those same traits, which is why it is not surprising that Root has been a vocal supporter of Trump's presidential campaign and has been tapped to speak at Trump campaign rallies.

Earlier this week, Root appeared on One America News to defend Trump amid the criticism he's been receiving for his various incoherent and contradictory stances on whether women should face "some form of punishment" for having abortions. Root dismissed the entire controversy on the grounds that abortion is not an important issue because it is settled law and the only thing that matters is jobs and the economy and that is all that Trump should be focusing on.

Eventually, the conversation turned toward the tendency for acts of violence to occur at Trump rallies, which Root blamed entirely upon liberals who are on welfare.

As Root explained, conservatives like him have jobs, homes and families to protect and so they would never act violently because they can't afford to be sued or go to jail.

"But the liberal crowd," he stated, "they're all on welfare, they don't own a home, they rent, they don't own a business, they have nothing to protect. They get arrested, they're out tomorrow, they don't care. It's not the Right that's ever violent; that's an absolutely ludicrous storyline."

  • The Pro-Life Action League is organizing a nationwide "Empty Manger Christmas Caroling" event where anti-choice protesters sing Christmas carols outside of abortion clinics.
  • Mark Regnerus seems very sad to realize that his reputation has suffered badly as a result of his discredited anti-gay research.
  • James Dobson has officially endorsed Ted Cruz for president.
  • A U.S. appeals court has upheld the conviction of a pastor found guilty of helping "ex-gay" Lisa Miller kidnap her daughter and flee the country.
  • Finally, Wayne Allyn Root is positively giddy about getting to speak at a Donald Trump campaign event: "There were only two speakers — Donald Trump and Wayne Allyn Root. I became the opening act for the man I believe is the next president of the United States. It was like opening for Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones. This wasn’t a political rally… it was a rock concert!"

Wayne Allyn Root: Hillary Clinton Committed 'Hanging' Offense, But Is Blackmailing The FBI To Stay Out Of Jail

Today is a big day for conservative activist and former Libertarian vice presidential nominee Wayne Allyn Root, who, as the Republican presidential candidates descend on his home state of Nevada for tomorrow’s debate, joined Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Ben Carson and Rick Santorum at a summit hosted by anti-Muslim activist Frank Gaffney before moving on to emcee a rally for Donald Trump.

The proximity of presidential candidates did not cause Root to hold back on his rhetoric, telling the audience at Gaffney’s forum that Hillary Clinton has committed “a hanging, treasonous offense” involving foreign donors to the Clinton Foundation but is getting off the hook by blackmailing FBI Director James Comey and other Republicans in Washington.

“Can you imagine a Republican secretary of state working for a Republican president starting a foundation for charity that collects money from foreign governments by the hundreds of millions and billions and then takes the money and hands out government contracts to the same country that made the contribution from the State Department?” he asked. “That’s not a criminal offense, that’s a hanging, treasonous offense.”

When a member of the audience asked Root “when we are going to nail Hillary,” Root responded that he wasn’t sure because “I don’t know if Comey, the FBI director, is totally on the straight-and-narrow.”

“I believe we’ve got massive blackmail going on in the United States government,” he said. “The NSA, the IRS, their goal is to find out everything about Republicans — not everybody, Republicans.”

“They want to know everything about us, especially Republican politicians in Washington, D.C., and then they blackmail them,” he explained. “Is Comey susceptible to that? I have no idea, but I certainly have my suspicions about the Supreme Court justice of the United States voting twice for Obamacare.”

Root has previously shared his theory that Chief Justice John Roberts was blackmailed into ruling against challenges to the Affordable Care Act.

Trump Picks Fellow Conspiracy Theorist Wayne Allyn Root To Emcee Nevada Rally

Wayne Allyn Root, a Nevada activist and the 2008 Libertarian nominee for vice president, comes across as something like the poor man’s Donald Trump. Like Trump, Root is loud, bombastic and full of barely thought-through conspiracy theories about President Obama. The two also know each other: Trump wrote a blurb for Root’s most recent book and Root volunteered to be Trump’s “Karl Rove” if he’s elected president.

So it makes perfect sense that Trump picked Root to emcee a campaign rally he is hosting tonight in Las Vegas in advance of tomorrow’s GOP presidential debate.

Root boasted of his role in the Trump rally during a rambling speech at a summit hosted by Frank Gaffney today that at least three GOP candidates are scheduled to attend.

Here is a brief introduction to some of Root’s favorite conspiracy theories, which we can only imagine he will touch upon at tonight’s rally:

1. Obama Both Did And Did Not Attend Columbia

Root’s signature conspiracy theory has to do with Obama’s time at Columbia University, which Root says is where Obama learned his strategy to impose socialist control on the U.S. even though, according to Root, he was never seen in classes and probably is lying about going to Columbia at all.

Root attended Columbia at the same time as Obama (if Obama really did attend Columbia!) and so can attest that the president was never seen in class but also was indoctrinated into Marxism during his classes at Columbia .

2. Obama ‘Cut His Afro’ To Become The ‘Manchurian Candidate’

Root put a new spin on his Obama theory during a 2014 campaign stop for Mississippi Senate candidate Chris McDaniel, when he said that Obama’s Columbia classes (which he both did and did not attend) taught him to “cut his afro” in order to infiltrate the political class and become a “Manchurian candidate” meant to take down America from within.

3. Obama Is A Sociopath Who Will Kill Us All

Root has diagnosed Obama as an “arrogant, egomaniacal sociopath” who is either “mentally ill” or committing treason and must be removed from office “before he kills us all” with Ebola-ridden terrorists.

4. Obama Wants A Race War So He Can Impose Martial Law

Like many conservative commentators, Root contends that America’s troubles with race were in the past until Obama came along to divide everyone, saying that the president “didn’t come in to help us end the specter of racism, he brought it back.”

Root wrote during the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, that “Obama needs ‘division.’ Race warfare. Class warfare. Anger. Resentment. Civil war.” Obama, he wrote, saw Ferguson as “the perfect opportunity to divide the nation, to incite unrest and violence across America” and could “use spreading unrest to declare martial law.”

5. Democrats Win By Voting 10 Times Each

Root has taken voter fraud hysteria to a new level, claiming last year that President Obama won reelection because “Democratic voters across this country are voting four times, five times, 10 times each for the Democrats.”

Root is sure that the same mischief is afoot for 2016 and that Hillary Clinton is conspiring with Obama and with the defunct organization ACORN to steal the presidential election.

6. Somebody Is Blackmailing John Roberts

Root had a reasonable reaction to the Supreme Court’s rejection of another challenge to the Affordable Care Act in the King v. Burwell decision this year:

Wayne Allyn Root: Tipping At Restaurants Is 'What Makes America Great'

Right-wing activist Wayne Allyn Root joined Iowa talk radio host Simon Conway on Thursday to discuss the reported FBI investigation into the fantasy sports business, which he said, along with restaurant owner Danny Meyer’s decision to ban tipping in his restaurants, shows that “socialism is just filtering into everything we do in this country.”

Root recalled a detailed story about being refused an off-menu item at a restaurant in Great Britain, which he attributed to the lack of tipping, whereas tipping is “what makes America great.”

This led him back to the topic of the fantasy sports investigation. “Socialism is just filtering into everything we do in this country,” he said, “and to go after a business that’s a hot business, fantasy sports, simply because a bunch of people are making millions of dollars is more of the jealousy of the Obama administration against anyone who actually profits in the United States of America.”

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 10/15/15

  • Erik Rush warns that "orchestrated rioting among blacks nationwide may ultimately be the pretext for Barack Hussein Obama implementing martial law in the United States."
  • Russell Moore says that pastors who do not preach against legal abortion are no different than pastors who refused to condemn slavery or lynching.
  • Cindy Jacobs asserts that school shootings are a direct result of removing prayer from public schools because "prayer held the evil one at bay, prohibiting him from creating havoc in our schools and culture."
  • FRC prays for the passage of the First Amendment Defense Act and against the passage of the Equality Act.
  • Finally, Wayne Allyn Root is convinced that this week's Democratic debate was a sham: "I could tell Hillary's answers were all scripted. She clearly was given questions in advance. This is GIGANTIC scandal."

Wayne Allyn Root Appoints Himself Donald Trump's 'Karl Rove'

Wayne Allyn Root, the far-right activist who was the Libertarian Party’s nominee for vice president in 2008 and has spent the Obama administration promoting avery confusing conspiracy theory about the president’s time at Columbia, has naturally gravitated toward the candidacy of Donald Trump. In fact, as Root told Iowa talk radio host Simon Conway on Tuesday, he is a bit of a pen pal with Trump and thinks he may have even inspired the candidate’s tax plan.

Root said that the Republican frontrunner “emails back and forth with me,” “says nice things about me on this Twitter account” and wrote a “beautiful quote for the back of my book.”

“I do know that I emailed him what I thought the tax plan should be for America and his new tax plan was out last week and I thought it was fantastic and it was pretty damn close to what I recommended,” he added.

“At least he listens some of the time to what I have to say, and that’s pretty cool,” Root said. “If he gets elected president, maybe I can be Karl Rove.”

Root would join unhinged right-wing radio host Michael Savage, who has similarly appointed himself to a position in the Trump administration .

Wayne Allyn Root: Hillary Clinton And Nonexistent ACORN Plotting To Steal 2016 Election

Last week on “The Sam Malone Show,” conservative pundit Wayne Allyn Root wondered if Hillary Clinton is scheming with President Obama and ACORN, the organizing group which shut down in 2010, in order to steal the upcoming presidential election through massive voter fraud.

Root speculated that Obama threatened to launch a Justice Department investigation into the Clinton Foundation if the former secretary of state refused to endorse the Iran deal, but told her that “if you go along with this, I’ll help you steal the election like I did in 2012. I’ll get my old pals from ACORN back together again, the old gang is back, and we will steal states with weak voter ID laws, we’ll have illegal aliens voting, we’ll figure out ways to stuff the ballot box in inner cities so that more people vote than are registered to vote in that district. We will figure out a way to steal you the election the same way we stole it for me. But if you go against me, you’re done.”

Malone later stated that “how any liberal Jew out there in Hollywood could support the President or Hillary Clinton at this point is beyond me,” and hoped that they realize that “the Democratic Party is the party against the Holy Land.”

Wayne Allyn Root: 'Divorces Will Now Triple' Because 'Gays Will Never Stay Married'

Conservative activist Wayne Allyn Root joined Florida talk radio host Joyce Kaufman on her radio program on Friday to discuss the Supreme Court’s decision striking down bans on gay marriage, which Root said “was the best thing to ever happen” to divorce attorneys because “gays will never stay married.”

“Marriage is the most difficult thing in the world,” he said, “I’m talking to you as someone who has been married 24 years, marriage is so difficult that if you do not go to church every Sunday and your whole life isn’t built on a bedrock faith in God and you don’t have kids and your whole life isn’t built around those kids and none of that’s in place and you’re married, the odds of you staying married are close to zero. Divorces will now triple. Gays will never stay married. They just bought themselves the biggest bunch of unhappiness and legal bills that they could ever imagine.”

He added that the Supreme Court’s decision was also the “best thing that ever happened to the Republican Party” and “hands us the election” because candidates will not have to talk about marriage equality as much.

“Good luck and God bless, you’re all getting divorced, and it’s over, it’s not a campaign issue. I say it’s a good day for the Republican Party,” he concluded.

Hide Your Grandparents! The Five Most Panicked Right-Wing Reactions To King v. Burwell

In a 6-3 decision this morning, the Supreme Court rejected an attempt by conservative activists to unravel the Affordable Care Act by attacking what was essentially a typo in the law. The court’s decision in King v. Burwell will prevent at least 8 million people from losing their health insurance, so naturally the Right is devastated.

Here are the most panicked reactions from the Right just the first hour following the King decision being handed down:

1. Nothing means anything anymore!

2. We’re becoming a banana republic!

3. Hide your grandparents!

4. Justice Roberts is a tyrant!

5. …who was obviously blackmailed!

Honorable mention: The most popular line on conservative Twitter this morning was written not by a professional pundit, but by  Justice Antonin Scalia in his dissent. We’ll let Glenn Beck share this one:

Update: The Ben Shapiro quote that we originally included in this post was from 2012. But luckily he still has plenty to say! We've also added Michelle Malkin's insight.

Wayne Allyn Root: Impeach 'Traitorous' Obama

Right-wing activist Wayne Allyn Root is once again calling for action to remove President Obama from office, telling talk show host Dan Cofall earlier this month that Obama must be impeached for his diplomacy with Iran, which Root deems “traitorous,” and his execution action on immigration policy.

While nearly all experts believe that the president’s executive action will cover close to five million undocumented immigrants, Root insisted that the president will “legalize 34 million.”

“If he does that, don’t we then have to do instant impeachment? I mean, there’s no choice at that point. You can’t tell me that will break the nation apart, there’s no excuse,” he said.

Today, Root used his syndicated column to continue lashing out at the president, writing a bizarre holiday-themed post mockingly suggesting that Obama hire an Ebola-infected immigrant prepare his Thanksgiving meal:

It's almost Thanksgiving and the Christmas season is upon us. Many of us are already shopping for holiday gifts. So that inspired me to think up a holiday gift list that I hope and pray Obama receives for Christmas! Here are 15 perfect holiday gifts for Obama.

*Obama's Secret Service disarmed- since he doesn't think rest of us need guns for protection.

*Remove the fence around the White House- since Obama doesn't think we need a fence at our Southern border.

*A Christmas dinner at White House prepared and served by illegal immigrants who just arrived from the Ebola Zone- since he thinks rest of us shouldn't worry about Ebola (or illegal immigration).

*If Obama comes under withering fire from terrorists, may he call his favorite General and find him asleep with orders that he not be disturbed for the night. A little taste of the last moments of our heroes at Benghazi might be the ideal Christmas gift!

*And my last Christmas wish for Obama…

IMPEACHMENT in the New Year...prison time for fraud for every Obama aide involved in Obamacare…and a partridge in a pear tree.

Happy Holidays & God Bless everyone.

Root: Obama Is Either 'Incompetent Or Mentally Ill' And America Won't Survive Unless He Is Removed From Office

Today we discovered that right-wing pundit, activist, crackpot, and conspiracy theorist Wayne Allyn Root has been producing weekly video commentaries for several years now through which he spreads his reasonable beliefs that President Obama is the "greatest scam artist in history" and declares that "we have a sociopath in the White House."

Last month, Root decided to take on the pressing issue of whether America could have defeated the Nazis during World War II if President Obama had been in charge, concluding, not surprisingly, that we would have lost the war and "we would all be speaking German right about now."

This question is extremely relevant today, Root explained, because "World War III may have already started with Russia or ISIS or China or all of the above plotting to destroy America" and we don't even realize it.  As such, Republicans must immediately remove Obama from office because otherwise this nation simply will not survive the remainder of his term.

"We have decisions to make if we want America to survive," Root warned. "We have to decide if our president is incompetent or mentally ill. Or if he’s delusional and really believes all the answers to the many crises facing America are found on a golf course, or at a Democratic fundraiser. Or whether this is treason. Republican leaders are going to have to do more than talk or whisper in the halls of Congress. Someone is going to have to take action to remove our president of his command because I know we aren't going to make it with Obama in charge for two more years":

Paranoia-Rama: Beware 'Mussolini' Obama, Gay 'Terrorists' … And People Voting

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.

With the election less than two weeks away, conservative commentators are making some pretty terrifying predictions about how President Obama will serve out the remainder of his term. But last-minute Obama-bashing won’t distract them from their other, equally important, job: attacking gays and lesbians.

5. Ernst Goes There

Since securing the GOP nomination for her state’s open U.S. Senate seat, Iowa state Sen. Joni Ernst has been trying to downplay her extremist record.

But the Republican candidate is having a hard time running away from her past remarks on such issues as the danger of the UN’s Agenda 21 and the ability of local law enforcement to arrest federal officials implementing Obamacare.

In the latest example of Ernst’s record catching up to her, a video surfaced this week of the candidate telling an audience at a 2012 NRA event that the reason she takes her gun “virtually everywhere” is because she is afraid of not only violent assailants but also the government: “I believe in the right to defend myself and my family — whether it’s from an intruder, or whether it’s from the government, should they decide that my rights are no longer important.”

Ed Kilgore explains the thinking behind Ernst’s claim: “The idea here is to intimidate liberals, and ‘looters’ and secular socialists, and those people, that there are limits to what the good virtuous folk of the country will put up with in the way of interference with their property rights and their religious convictions and their sense of how the world ought to work. If push comes to shove, they’re heavily armed, and bullets outweigh ballots.”

4. Obama Will Kill Us All!

If you wonder where Joni Ernst gets her ideas about an imminent government crackdown that may require a violent response, look no further than Fox News, where just this week Sean Hannity hosted conservative pundit Mark Levin to discuss President Obama’s nefarious agenda.

Levin told Hannity that Obama is imposing “quintessential statism” on America that “is a disaster,” Media Matters reports.

“The country has gone to Hell under this president and under the Democrat [sic] Party,” Levin said, warning that after the election, “with Obama it’s going to get worse, you’re going to see his full Mussolini coming out.”

Wayne Allyn Root, another conservative commentator, managed to top Levin’s remarks in an interview on the “Point of View” radio show, where he claimed that Obama “was sent here to destroy this country,” possibly by the “communist forces” of the Soviet Union or the Bilderbergs, and is “taking down the entire America.” Root added: “We’ve got to remove him from office and fast before he kills all of us.”

3. Latest Voter Fraud Menace

We keep hearing stories about Republicans increasing their outreach to African American and Latino voters, but their enthusiastic efforts to prevent people from registering to vote and from casting ballots may not be helping their case.

Take a recent incident in Arizona, where a GOP official and conservative media outlets fumed that an activist with a progressive group dropped off a box of absentee ballots at a polling center, which is completely legal. Immediately, conservatives accused the activist — a Latino man — of committing voter fraud through “ballot stuffing” and wondered if he was a violent “illegal alien.”

Of course, not only is delivering ballots on behalf of voters legal in Arizona, but Wonkette notes that Republicans brought in Mitt Romney to host a ballot drop-off campaign event this very week.

Thursday night, Mitt Romney made an appearance in Mesa, Arizona, to campaign for Republican gubernatorial candidate Doug Ducey. A graphic on a couple of conservative blogs, reproduced up top, urged attendees to “Bring your Early Ballots!” so GOP get-out-the-vote volunteers could collect them and get them to the county elections office.

Just remember, it’s only okay if Republicans do it, otherwise it’s voter fraud.

2. Beware Gay Plants, Or Something

Matt Barber’s website BarbWire today published an unintentionally hilarious piece by columnist Lee Duigon, who compares gays to super-plants from outer space that eat people.

“Gaydeology,” the dogma that “sexual liberation” is the highest moral value, presses forward aggressively on all fronts. Christians are to be punished by the state if they refuse to knuckle under. But the militant “gays” are only the street muscle for a “progressive” project to beat down church, family, and anything else that competes with the secular, God-denying state for the loyalty of every citizen. This vision for America, and for all the other countries of the Western world, has roots in the 19th century that sprouted into man-eating plants in the 20th, to become a worldwide plague in the 21st.

It is reminiscent of “The Day of the Triffids,” a classic horror movie about plants from outer space that infest the earth and strike blind anyone who gets too close.

Well, we have been blind, haven’t we? Blind to threats to our freedom, blind to the vast incompetence of government, and blind to its insatiable lust for power. Worst of all, we have been both blind and deaf to God our maker and our Father, whose blessings have been the lifeblood of America.

Maybe that should be the rallying cry of the anti-gay movement: Beware the triffids!

1. Gay ‘Terrorists’ Out To Get Us

Pat Robertson, who once warned viewers that they could become the victims of a gay ‘AIDS ring’ attack, lashed out at gay rights advocates on “The 700 Club” this week and accused them of trying to throw their opponents in jail.

Robertson didn’t hold back, warning that gay “terrorists” are launching their own Spanish Inquisition: “These people are terrorists, they’re radicals and they’re extremists. No Christian in his right mind would ever try to enforce somebody against their belief or else suffer jail. They did that during the Inquisition, it was horrible, it was a black mark on our history, but it isn’t being done now.”

Of course, Robertson’s argument relied on a twisted reading of a legal case in Houston, Texas, but that didn’t stop him from attacking the “monstrous” gay rights movement.

Yesterday, Donald Trump-worshiping sycophant Wayne Allyn Root appeared on "Newsmax Prime" to promote his new book, "Angry White Male: How the Donald Trump Phenomenon is Changing America—and What We Can All Do to Save the Middle Class." Root said that Democrats are intent on destroying white middle class males and that men like him therefore have every right to be outraged about it, just like blacks were angry when they were the victims of slavery and widespread institutional discrimination. "We have a right to be angry," Root said. "Certainly today... MORE >

Just how many reboots is Donald Trump's campaign going to have? Wayne Allyn Root says that "Justice Scalia is begging from his grave" for Republicans to wake up and rally around Trump. Milo Yiannopoulos declares that "God-Emperor Daddy" Trump "has dramatically overtaken the chronically Muslim-friendly Democratic Party on gay rights." Behold the latest right-wing scandal: Hillary Clinton sometimes sits with a pillow behind her back. Finally, Lance Wallnau says that Trump's campaign is prophectic: "The commandment to restore and to... MORE >

Yesterday, Wayne Allyn Root, a Donald Trump-worshiping sycophant and all-around conspiracy theorist, appeared on Jesse Lee Peterson's radio program to declare that Trump's presidential campaign is a message from God that "it's time for a war president." "I think we need a war president and I think God sent us someone named Donald Trump," Root said. "I think he's perfect for this election. We needed someone who is a bit coarse and foul-mouthed and vicious and fights with a gun in a gunfight, not with a knife in a gun fight." "I think he's... MORE >

Wayne Allyn Root, the Donald Trump campaign surrogate who predicted in 2014 that we would all die from Ebola if President Obama wasn't forced out of office, wrote in a column today that Obama’s speech at the Democratic National Convention last night “could have been written by Lucifer himself, to be delivered by the anti-Christ.” Root blasted Obama as a “psychopath, sociopath and ego-maniac who rules as a tyrant" and claimed that the president sees himself as a god who can exploit “ignorant, naïve and gullible voters.” “Lucifer himself... On “Newsmax Prime with J.D. Hayworth” on Monday, right-wing activist Wayne Allyn Root declared that it was about time for white men to have their voices heard in the political system, calling on white men to finally speak out on the 2016 election so that Hillary Clinton doesn’t bring about “the end of America.” “We won’t survive another term of Barack Obama and Hillary has said she wants to be an extension of Barack Obama, except from their campaign rhetoric, she’s headed toward Bernie Sanders, which is even more spending than Barack Obama, even... “I’ve never seen any major protest by Muslims in the United States of America, like in Dearborn, Michigan, which is a majority-Muslim city, I’ve never seen anyone... Trump, as Maddow noted, was particularly enthralled by Root’s bizarre claim that Obama never attended Columbia University and simultaneously was radicalized to become an anti-American “Manchurian candidate” by his left-wing professors while... Earlier this week, Root appeared on One America News to defend Trump amid the criticism he's been receiving for his various incoherent and contradictory stances on whether women should face "some form of punishment" for...
