  • Some kind words from BarbWire: "Matt Barber should be happy that Right Wing Watch is condemning him and 'Hating Jesus: The American Left’s War on Christianity.' He should wear the hatred as a badge of honor ... That’s why Right Wing Watch, an evil organization, published its diatribe against him ... It’s a waste of time to engage with RWW or refute what it published because there is no point in engaging with evil."
  • Joseph Farah says "the very idea that it is somehow 'healthy' to exhibit any kind of pride in sinful behavior is a delusional, turning biblical truth on its head. And yet that is the queer view of pride."
  • David Kupelian warns that if Hillary Clinton becomes president "powerful forces of rage, revulsion and revenge will be unleashed in American society, and a level of pathology and madness we have never before witnessed will arise" and it will be all her fault.
  • Mike Huckabee and Pat Boone predict that the Bible "may one day be labeled a hate book."
  • Finally, Scott Lively continues his crusade to reclaim the rainbow: "Today, in the cynical, opportunistic style of LGBT activists everywhere, the world’s most powerful nation has asked all the other nations of the world to join in its blasphemy of God by flying the rainbow flag in memory of the 'gay on gay' slaughter at the homosexual Pulse nightclub in Orlando. It is the responsibility of Christians (and Torah-believing Jews) everywhere to speak out against this defilement of God’s rainbow, and to demand that the LGBT movement cease and desist cloaking itself in His flag."

Move Over, Putin: Scott Lively Has A New Anti-Gay Strongman-Crush

Like other Religious Right leaders, American globe-trotting anti-gay activist Scott Lively has long been a vocal supporter of Russian strongman Vladimir Putin and his anti-gay policies. A few years ago Lively wrote Putin a gushing fan letter praising his “moral leadership” and “firm and unequivocal stand” against “the seemingly unstoppable spread of homosexuality.” He even tucked in a copy of his infamous book, “The Pink Swastika: Homosexuality in the Nazi Party,” saying he hoped that the U.S. and Russia would be able to cooperate in the future and “redeem the future of mankind from a Fascist Leviathan, just as we did in World War II.”

But Putin is apparently no longer the only apple of Lively’s eye. On Monday, Lively posted a reflection about his latest authoritarian man-crush, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who Lively calls a modern hero of the Christian faith. Lively seems unconcerned about Orbán’s attacks on religious freedom.

Orbán makes no effort to hide his “illiberal” authoritarian nationalist vision. A year ago, in a Politico article titled “Europe’s New Dictator,” Colin Woodard wrote that Orbán’s “dictatorial tendencies” were laying “the course of a deepening tragedy at the heart of Europe with lasting implications for the west.” Woodard notes that Orbán and his party have purged the civil service, packed the courts with political loyalists, restricted freedom of the press, and rewritten the Constitution to give a sheen of legitimacy to all of his efforts. He’s also gone after government watchdog groups and other nonprofits.

Last fall, Foreign Policy’s James Traub published a series of articles on Hungary’s rightward shift, in which he labeled Orbán a “right-wing demagogue” and quoted an analyst saying that while Orbán is not religious, he “constantly invoked Hungary’s ‘Christian’ culture.”

Lively is particularly offended that former U.S. President Bill Clinton criticized recent anti-democratic trends in Poland and Hungary, “two countries that would not have been free but for the United States and the long Cold War.” Lively fumes:

First of all, it must be pointed out that Bill Clinton has absolutely no right to speak for the generation of Americans that liberated Europe because that generation, including its leaders, was Christian. The “democratic” values it fought to preserve and promote included quite prominently the right to life, the sanctity of marriage and the natural family, and the concept of national sovereignty. The “democratic values” of Bill and Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are abortion, homosexuality, and global socialism.

If by “democracy” Clinton means the will of the people versus government tyranny he is doubly discredited. The people of Hungary (and Poland and Russia) overwhelmingly support family values and oppose open borders, while the Clinton/Obama cabal are blatantly, tyrannically and lawlessly ignoring the will of the American public by ramming “gay marriage” and the LGBT agenda down our throats and inviting third world invaders to illegally flood across our southern border by the millions.

Under the Christian leadership of Prime Minister Orban, the Hungarian constitution was revised in 2011 to state that human life begins at conception and marriage is between one man and one women. More recently, Mr. Orban had shown great courage in defying the European Union’s suicidal “open borders” policies, especially regarding the threat represented by Islamic “immigrants.”

If these Biblically consistent positions that the leaders of Hungary and Poland have taken on behalf of the majority of their citizens make them “Putin-like,” then perhaps the rest of the world should give Putin more respect in comparison to Clinton and Obama. If that’s what it means to be “Putin-like,” the intended condemnation is actually a compliment.

Lively encourages his readers to send Orbán “a note of support and thanks.”

Scott Lively: President Trump Should 'Apologize To The World' For Obama's 'Fascist LGBT Agenda'

In a piece posted on his website yesterday, extremist anti-gay activist Scott Lively recommends that Donald Trump, should he become president, set about cozying up to Russian president Vladimir Putin and follow his lead in cracking down on gay rights by allowing "the church to reclaim its rightful place in steering domestic policy norms back toward faith and family values."

Insisting once again that President Obama's "devotion to the LGBT agenda was his chief motivation for orchestrating (with the help of his pal George Soros) the Ukrainian coup," Lively warns that Obama's fealty to the "gay agenda" has pushed "the world closer to nuclear war." As such, President Trump's first order of business, Lively says, should be to "apologize to the world" for "Obama's attempt to force the fascist LGBT agenda on everyone" and for "letting Obama and the GOP establishment poison the relationship [with Russia] to further their nefarious elitist and anti-Christian agenda."

There aren’t many things about Barack Obama’s foreign policy I would want any politician to emulate, but there is one thing I would like Donald Trump to do if he becomes President: apologize to the world for the actions of his predecessor! Especially regarding Obama’s attempt to force the fascist LGBT agenda on everyone, everywhere in every possible way.

After that Mr. Trump should shut down the anti-Russian war-propaganda that the Obama/McCain/NeoCon axis relaunched in 2013 after the Russians passed their law banning homosexual propaganda to children. That law — a monumental achievement in the fight to preserve Judeo-Christian civilization — highlighted the glaring contrast of values between the now anti-Marxist Russia and the now pro-Marxist US and EU, and shifted the contest for influence in the still family-friendly nations of the former Soviet Union in Russia‘s favor. Within a few months several nations, including Ukraine, moved toward adopting a similar law and for a short while it looked like an international pro-family counterrevolution would emerge to challenge Obama’s dangerous global LGBT blitzkrieg.

Whether or not the passage of that law was a cynical political ploy by Russia (as some pundits wrongly claim), Mr. Obama and Germany’s Chancellor Merckle [sic] could have easily countered it by simply articulating and affirming America’s and Europe’s traditional family values to reassure those nations being lured eastward by Russia’s pro-family stance that we respected their beliefs. What a tremendous blessing that would have been for everyone, including those interested in building friendship instead of hostility between the US and Russia.

Instead Obama chose to abandon the “reset button” policy he had previously announced toward Russia and moved to revive the cold war. Pushing the world closer to nuclear war was deemed preferable to putting the “gay” agenda on hold.

...

I suggest that Mr. Trump could do the world a great favor and dramatically ratchet down global tensions by following Mr. Putin’s example of pushing back the Marxists and the gangsters within his borders (yes, he had his own versions of the Clinton and Obama crime syndicates to deal with) and inviting the church to reclaim its rightful place in steering domestic policy norms back toward faith and family values. Then by redirecting the US State Department to promote greater family-centered cultural cooperation with the Russian people (and all the people of the world we have offended and harmed by pushing sexual deviance on their children). With a return to authentic family values would come a natural desire to steer away from war and its evils, and a new basis for seeking common ground in all geo-political affairs. And as always, the climate for doing business would improve when our goals are driven by a common desire to pursue mutual benefit rather than exploitation and control by force of will and arms.

In his run for president, Mr. Trump has seen the true face and character of America’s domestic enemies in both the “Progressive” movement and the GOP establishment. Hopefully he will (if elected) have the vision and courage to rebuild America’s moral and patriotic infrastructure in such a way as to severely diminish the influence of these anti-family Marxists and to increase cooperation with countries like Russia which are doing the same.

Scott Lively: Acceptance Of Homosexuality Is A 'Dress Rehearsal' For The End Times

Anti-gay activist Scott Lively was the guest on VCY America's "Crosstalk" radio program yesterday, where he asserted that the issue of acceptance of homosexuality within the church is a "dress rehearsal" for the End Times.

"I believe we're in End Times," he said, "and that we're being prepared as a body for a time when the Antichrist is going to appear on the scene and the Mark of the Beast is going to be something that all believers are going to be presented with this challenge. It seems that the issue of homosexuality and the way that it's being addressed in society and in the church is kind of a dress rehearsal for that."

Scott Lively: Obama Orchestrated Coup In Ukraine To Prevent Russian-Style Anti-Gay Laws From Sweeping The World

Earlier this year, extremist anti-gay activist Scott Lively penned a "letter to the international pro-family movement," in which called on activists to work to pass Russian-style laws banning gay "propaganda" in nations all around the world.

Anti-gay radio host Janet Mefferd was apparently so impressed by Lively's call to arms that she posted a link to his letter on her website and invited him onto her radio program this week to promote it.

Lively and Mefferd spent a good portion of the program warning that gay rights activists are a relentless and implacable foe that will never stop until they have gained "absolute control of every institution of the culture" and destroyed any Christians who dare to object.

The only hope is to impose Russian-style laws, Lively declared while floating his theory that President Obama orchestrated the coup in Ukraine in order to prevent such laws from being implemented in that country and sweeping the world.

"A lot of people aren't going to want to hear this," Lively said, "but really the model for being able to fix this is Russia ... St. Petersburg became the first city that adopted the Russian anti-propaganda law that criminalizes homosexual propaganda to children. This is absolutely essential to be done and several other Russian cities adopted it, then they took it nationally and it was passed unanimously by the Russian Duma and Putin signed it. That's the law of the land in Russia."

"Immediately, five other countries, including Ukraine, were going to follow suit and enact that into law," he continued, "and it looked like there was going to be a steamroller, that we were finally going to have a counter-revolution in the world to push this back, because this agenda is global. Obama spent $700 million in the last three years pushing this throughout the entire world, but as soon as Putin gave indication, or Russia — it wasn't really Putin, it's the state or the national government itself — looked like they were sort of going to lead this charge, all of a sudden Obama pulled the plug on Russia; I know this sounds like a terrible conspiracy theory but I believe it, and they he then orchestrated the coup in Ukraine and then sort of kick-started the Cold War again. I believe, personally, a lot of people might not, but I believe that one of the main reasons for him doing that was to stop the Russians from setting the example across the world because this agenda is heart and soul to Obama."

They are the brutes who 'bash gays' even while living as sodomites themselves."

Scott Lively Begs For Money And Calls For Passage Of Russian-Style Anti-Gay Laws Around The World

Anti-gay activist Scott Lively closed out 2015 by publishing a couple of open letters to his fellow anti-gay activists begging for money and urging them to join him in pushing to the passage of Russian-style anti-gay laws in America and elsewhere.

Lively bragged that he is being targeted by gay activists because his Abiding Truth Ministries is "one of the most feared and hated pro-family organizations in the world ... because we know more about the history, strategies and tactics of their movement than just about anyone on our side." The downside of being so "feared" is that he is now facing a lawsuit stemming from his anti-gay activism in Uganda, which is why Lively was begging for donations:

My friends, SMUG v Lively is truly a David v Goliath battle. I’m running a one-man office on a shoestring budget of less than $120,000 per year, provided almost entirely by donations of $50 and $100 from average people. Our donor base is small, mostly elderly, and very difficult to expand due to the success of the anti-Lively propaganda. While Liberty Counsel has been funding our legal defense, this lawsuit has nevertheless caused us major financial hardship and seriously threatens our future.

Frankly, I question whether ATM will survive the decade without greater support from the individuals scattered across the society who recognize the danger of the LGBT agenda and are willing to stand with us financially against it. That can only happen if the people who already support us encourage their like-minded friends and allies to donate to us.

In a separate "letter to the international pro-family movement," Lively declared that "the Leaders and Activists of the LGBT movement are malicious deceivers and evil-doers, deliberately subverting civilized society and viciously attacking all opponents to advance their selfish and self-destructive interests" and called for anti-gay activists to focus on preventing the passage of antidiscrimination ordinances that protect sexual orientation in places where they don't already exist and repealing them where they do.

Lively went on to recommend that his fellow anti-gay activists likewise work to pass Russian-style laws banning gay "propaganda" in America and around the world:

We need to build international pro-family solidarity on a foundation of genuine moral authority, meaning it must rest on the premise that homosexuality itself is personally and socially harmful, and not pretend that our only social and political interests are the "welfare of children" or the "definition of marriage." That pretense is a product of the same diseased pro-family "leadership" that marched the American pro-family movement from one disastrous defeat to the next for the past three decades, and it is now being exported to the rest of the world by the same men.

The beauty of the Russian law is it cuts right to the heart of the real problem of LGBT advocacy: the recruitment of children. What I mean by recruitment of children is not primarily the sexual exploitation of young people by adult homosexuals, though that represents a dark current within the larger “gay” culture, especially among the men. What I mean is the normalization of homosexual conduct and culture to children and youths, leading them to engage in homosexual experimentation among themselves and subsequently self-identify as "gay." An entire generation of American, British and Canadian children has been enslaved to this corrupt culture and ideology through the very propaganda that Russia has now banned.

While numerous countries of the African continent have chosen a much stricter approach, seeking to deter all homosexual conduct through harsh criminal sanctions, the Russian law balances the privacy rights of adult homosexuals (who choose to live discretely outside the mainstream of society) with the need of the nation to protect its children from the ravages of sexual perversion. It deters the LGBT lobby from attempting to mainstream the "gay" lifestyle, while granting the individual members of its community the "right to be left alone" that was the original stated goal of their movement in its early years, before it adopted the militant fascist tactics it is known for today.

Scott Lively Removes Theodore Shoebat From His List Of 'Pro-Family Heroes'

Last week, we noted that rabidly anti-gay activist Scott Lively had released a list of "Top Ten Pro-Family Heroes" of the year which included an "honorable mention" for Theodore Shoebat, an anti-gay activist so extreme that he openly calls for the implementation of a global "inquisition" aimed at forcing gays to submit to Christianity or be put to death.

Here is a screen cap of Lively's original list. You can see Shoebat listed in between Julio Severo and Mission America's Linda Harvey, who helped Lively draft the list:

At some point after we pointed out Shoebat's inclusion on Lively's list of "pro-family heroes," the list was quietly updated and Shoebat's name was removed. Here is a screen cap of the list as it currently appears on Lively's website:

Scott Lively Names Anti-Gay 'Inquisition' Advocate Theodore Shoebat Among The Anti-Gay 'Heroes' Of 2015

Earlier this week, extremist anti-gay activist Scott Lively released his list of the "Top Ten Pro-Family Heroes of 2015," highlighting anti-gay activists "who showed courage under fire or whose words and actions gave special encouragement to our movement."

As the "2015 Pro-Family Hero of the Year," Lively rewarded Brian Camenker of MassResistance with a $500 donation and urged his supporters to financially support these other "worthy organizations" to "help them in their work":

1) 2015 Pro-Family Hero of the Year
Brian Camenker, MassResistance, for consistent dogged determination, effective activism, and optimism in the face of overwhelming opposition in the most homosexual-controlled state in the union.

2) Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel, for his bold, principled defiance of the United States Supreme Court in the Obergefell “gay marriage” ruling, and his defense of conscientious objector Kim Davis who refused to issue marriage licenses to homosexuals in Kentucky.

3) Janet Folger, Faith 2 Action, for her tenacious “Restrain the Judges” campaign, culminating in a press conference on the steps of the Supreme Court asking Congress to remove jurisdiction over “gay marriage” from the United States Supreme Court, and for her subsequent valiant efforts to force SCOTUS to reconsider its Obergefell decision.

4) Arthur Goldberg, Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing (JONAH) for standing firm through a terrible lawsuit brought against JONAH by the Southern Poverty Law Center claiming that offering recovery to homosexuals amounted to consumer fraud under New Jersey law.

5) Peter LaBarbera, Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, for his consistently gracious and courageous cultural analysis, activism and journalism at great personal cost.

6) David Kupelian, WND.com, for his ongoing fearless publication of the truth and his newest book, “The Snapping of the American Mind.”

7) J. Matt Barber of Barbwire.com for establishing a wonderful new medium for Christian witness and defense of the truth.

8) Diane Gramley, American Family Association of PA, for her steady, persistent and unflappable defense of family values.

9) Dr. Michael Brown, Line of Fire Radio Ministry, for the encouragement he has provided to the movement with his fearless radio commentary and especially new book, Outlasting the Gay Revolution.

10) Dr. Don Welch: Center for Enriching Relationships, for being the first-named of three litigants against California’s SB1172 law preventing professional psychotherapists from helping gender identity confused adolescents who possess a biblical worldview.

In addition to these "heroes," Lively also provided a list of those who "deserve honorable mention" and one name, more than any other, jumped out at us:

Theodore Shoebat

Very Special Thanks to pro-family hero Linda Harvey of Mission America for her help in compiling this list.

Theodore Shoebat is, of course, a truly deranged anti-gay activist who has openly and repeatedly called for a"global inquisition" to force gay people to either submit to Christianity or be put to death:

Scott Lively Warns Christians To Prepare For Relentless Persecution In Wake Of Gay Marriage Ruling

Speaking at an event in Chicago last night, anti-gay activist Scott Lively warned the audience to prepare for wholesale persecution in the wake of the Supreme Court's gay marriage ruling because the goal of gay rights activists is "to punish anyone who disagrees with them as severely as they can."

"As Christians, our world changed on the day the Obergefell case came down," he said, "and there's going to be persecution unfolding for all of us in this country because this movement of people is implacable, they can't be placated. They're relentless and their goal is supremacy. It's not tolerance, it's not acceptance, it isn't even celebration, it isn't even being able to force everyone to participate in their culture, it's to punish anyone who disagrees with them as severely as they can and that is what's coming for every person."

The time is coming, Lively warned, for Christians to decide that they are willing to "stand with the Lord and the truth of the Bible and say that homosexuality is an abomination," regardless of the consequences.

Scott Lively: LGBT Rights Brought Us To The 'Twilight Zone'

Religious Right activists Peter LaBarbera and Scott Lively appeared on “Crosstalk” yesterday to discuss the “massive push underway to undermine Christianity and to change the moral fabric of our nation” through LGBT rights.

“This is very spiritual warfare at the most intense level,” Lively said regarding the recent legal defeat for the ex-gay group Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing (JONAH), which was found guilty of violating consumer fraud laws. “The idea that any person cannot reorient their sexuality to the design of their own body is preposterous and to win a lawsuit on the theme that it’s consumer fraud to suggest that it’s possible, we’ve entered into the Twilight Zone here.”

After host Jim Schneider asked the two about transgender White House staffer Raffi Freedman-Gurspan, whom Schneider made a point of misgendering, Lively said that “we’re a mockery around the world because of this.”

“I’m actually a little surprised they moved so fast into transgenderism when they still haven’t finished mopping up on just simple homosexuality,” he added. “And I was especially shocked when they went into the military and said they were going to actually legitimize transsexuals in the U.S. military. What a disaster in the making. It’s mindboggling to see what is going on here.”

Lively: 'The Widespread Acceptance Of Homosexuality By Society Is The Harbinger Of The Wrath Of God'

Last night, virulently anti-gay activist Scott Lively joined fellow activists Peter LaBarbera and John Kirkwood for a discussion on the supposed persecution of Christians in the wake of the Supreme Court's gay marriage decision.

Predictably, the conversation was filled with dire warnings and over-the-top language, such as when Lively declared that America has "entered into a time of apostasy" as evidenced by school shootings and "the barbarianistic behavior that is manifested so much on the internet."

But worst of all, he said, is the acceptance of homosexuality, which is the most abominable of all sins because, according to the Bible, "it's the only sin associated with the incineration of four cities."

"The widespread acceptance of homosexuality by society is the harbinger of wrath of God," he said. "It's the only sin that is associated with the reprobate mind, the worst state that a person can have and then the apostate culture that derives from that ... [If you read Romans,] you see what God believes about this and what he warns about. Even AIDS and these other diseases, it says they receive in themselves the penalty of their error, which is appropriate. It's plain, simple Scripture, stated as clear as could possibly be done and that's manifest before our eyes in the way that these people are now struggling with all these diseases that are associated with their conduct."

"The heart of it is malicious deception," Lively concluded, "which is the satanic goal, isn't it?"

In a piece posted on his website yesterday, extremist anti-gay activist Scott Lively recommends that Donald Trump, should he become president, set about cozying up to Russian president Vladimir Putin and follow his lead in cracking down on gay rights by allowing "the church to reclaim its rightful place in steering domestic policy norms back toward faith and family values." Insisting once again that President Obama's "devotion to the LGBT agenda was his chief motivation for orchestrating (with the help of his pal George Soros) the Ukrainian coup," Lively warns that... David Lane says that Christians must not allow "secularists" to win the next election: "We must not wait around for them to place an additional three to four secularists on the U.S. Supreme Court; handing them a Hillary Clinton victory in November is political and cultural suicide." Dennis Prager says that "the most profound thinkers in America are conservative." Glenn Beck continues his feud with Sarah Palin. Sandy Rios asserts that any Republican can beat Hillary Clinton in the general election because "she cannot even win among her own... MORE >

Scott Lively warns that "we’re headed for a mini-Civil War in this election, raising the specter of Obama potentially using it as a pretext to suspend elections and stay in power under martial law." Why were taxpayers covering the cost of Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller's trip to Oklahoma to get a "Jesus shot"? Poor Todd Starnes: "So far today Trump supporters have called me a lying Democrat, compared me to Saul Alinsky, and accused me of not being a Christian." Roger Schlafly says that Hillary Clinton "has based her... MORE >

It seems that the issue of homosexuality and the way that it's... MORE >

Lively and Mefferd spent a good portion of the program warning that gay rights activists are a relentless and implacable foe... MORE >

Glenn Beck will return to CPAC this year. Jennifer LeClaire says that atheists don't need government recognition, but rather should simply be "surrendering to a living God they reject and embracing their true identity in Christ." Scott Lively explains "the common root of LGBT dysfunctions" as only he can. The Family Research Council's Rob Schwarzwalder says that President Obama got it wrong on coming out of the closet because "there is no love in affirming something God declares wrong and harmful, whether it relates to human sexuality or...
