Rick Joyner Says The Second Law Of Thermodynamics Disproves The Theory Of Evolution

During his "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events" program last week, Rick Joyner set out to discuss the topic of "Bedlam on the Border" but quickly got distracted and ended up explaining instead how the Second Law of Thermodynamics fundamentally disproves the theory of evolution.

As Joyner explained it, the Second Law of Thermodynamics states that "everything will trend toward disorder unless it is acted upon by an outside, intelligent source." That is, of course, not what the law says at all, but in Joyner's understanding, it proves that evolution is false.

Joyner argued that the Second Law of Thermodynamics proves "absolutely to the kazillionth power" that all of the events necessary to create life on earth could not have happened by accident, before asserting that "a lot of people don't understand how that impacts the theory of evolution."

But Joyner does.

"It fundamentally disproves the theory of evolution," he said. "The theory of evolution is impossible. It is absolutely impossible. That's why they've never found the missing link. It doesn't exist. If it existed, you'd be finding it everywhere all the time. It would be everywhere you look ... And sooner or later, we've got to realize how stupid the theory of evolution is. You have really got to be out of touch to believe something like that":

Allow us to remind everyone that Joyner personally spent eight hours in Heaven recently, so he obviously knows what he is talking about.

Rick Joyner Says Some Christians Can Cure Ebola Simply Through Their Presence

On yesterday's "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events" program, Rick Joyner recounted the eight hours he spent in Heaven recently, as well as the regular face-to-face encounters he has been having with Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, and the Prophet Elijah.

During his recent visit, Joyner learned that there is no Ebola virus in Heaven and that Christians are capable of taking authority over the disease here on earth. In fact, there are certain people who are given "total authority over Ebola," allowing them to cure people infected with the disease simply by being in their presence.

"Somebody with Ebola, they come into the room, the Ebola is gone," Joyner said. "That person is healed. It cannot live, cannot exist in their presence."

All Christians will one day have this same power, Joyner said, revealing that he even had a vision of children clearing entire regions of radiation simply through prayer:

Joyner: A Global Pandemic Is Coming, So Stock Up On Water Filters That Will Make You Immune To Cancer

On today's "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events" broadcast, Rick Joyner warned his viewers that the rise of some sort of global pandemic (maybe Ebola or possibly bird flu) in the near future was inevitable and so they should be stockpiling food, water, and supplies so that, when it comes, they will not have to stand in line waiting for assistance and can instead use the crisis as an opportunity to spread the Gospel to those who will need supplies.

In particular, Joyner recommended that people stock up on water filters  - which they can buy through his website, of course - especially ones that can help users reduce the pH level in their bodies, which he says will make them immune to cancer.

"You know what that means?" he asked. "When your pH level get down to a certain level, cancer won't grow. You don't even have to worry about it. Yep, that is true":

That is, of course, not true, as the American Institute for Cancer Research explained back in 2008:

The unsubstantiated theory is based on lab studies that suggest cancer cells thrive in an acidic (low pH) environment, but cannot survive in alkaline (high pH) surroundings. While these findings are accurate, they apply only to cells in an isolated lab setting. Altering the cell environment of the human body to create a less-acidic, less-cancer-friendly environment is virtually impossible.

The most amazing thing about Joyner's statement is that, in addition to being false, it is also exactly backwards since lowering the pH level makes things more acidic. Since the theory purports that cancer thrives in acidic environments, using water filters that lower pH level would theoretically make people more susceptible to cancer rather than, as Joyner claims, making them immune to it.

Rick Joyner: Mules Prove Evolution Is 'Ridiculous' And 'Impossible'

On Sunday, Rick Joyner presented new proof that the theory of evolution is “not only ridiculous, it’s impossible.”

He claimed that there is no evidence of an entire species evolving: “You can mix a donkey and a horse and get a mule, but mules cannot reproduce. They can only reproduce after their own kind. We have no species change.”

“Why would a whole theory, everything taught in our schools, be based on something that is something that is so outrageously not only ridiculous, it’s impossible,” he said.

Joyner: Science Proves God Created The Universe At The Big Bang When He Said 'Let There Be Light'

While preaching at his MorningStar Fellowship Church last week, Rick Joyner revealed that he spends hours every week studying science, which has led him to conclude that science has proven that God created the universe at the Big Bang when He said "let there be light."

"The Big Bang Theory did confirm," Joyner explained, "there was a point of creation. There was a nanosecond where nothing existed in the physical universe and a nanosecond later, all of the matter and all of the energy in the universe now was there instantly. And this has been pretty much a theory confirmed that everything came in one burst, at one time, and it was when God said 'let there be light'":

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.

Another week of totally reasonable and sane thoughts about Benghazi, health care reform marriage equality from the far-right.

5) Just Another Distraction From—

Last month, former Florida congressman Allen West said that Boko Haram’s kidnappings of hundreds of Nigerian girls were a suspicious distraction from the 2012 Benghazi attack .

But this week, West tweeted that the capture of Ahmed Abu Khattala, the accused perpetrator of the Benghazi attack, was just a way for the Obama administration to distract from non-Benghazi scandals.

“This is the whole wag the dog thing when you have so many other things that are going bad and unfortunately,” such as the crisis in Iraq and illegal immigration, he told Fox News Radio. “[Khattala] ends up being the Obama administration’s fall guy. Just the same as the poor guy who produced the quote-unquote anti-Islamic video.”

As Media Matters points out, West himself has called Khattala “a ringleader of the attack.”

But perhaps West now doesn’t want listeners to pay attention to Khattala because the militant reportedly said the Benghazi attack was retaliation for the notorious anti-Islam video.

4) ‘Diabolical’ Obamacare Will Introduce Totalitarianism

Only in the skewed reality of the Radical Right is the Tea Party made up “mostly of moderates,” but that’s exactly what televangelist Rick Joyner writes in his recent “special bulletin.” Joyner claims that the “moderates” of the Tea Party are the only ones standing up to the Democrats and Republicans (who are also liberal) in fighting the “diabolical legislation” of Obamacare.

Failure to oppose Obamacare, Joyner writes, is treasonous:

Where are the leaders who will stand against these most deadly threats to our freedom? It will not be those who are more concerned about their re-election than keeping their oath to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. Obamacare is the greatest attack yet to come upon America, our Constitution, and our liberty, and it is coming from within. It is a domestic attack that our elected officials and all other officers swore an oath to protect us from.

Due to Obamacare, the government will soon have “totalitarian control” over America, he adds.

3) ‘Guerrilla Warrior’ Garrow

We haven’t heard much recently from Jim Garrow, the far-right activist who wants Obama to be executed before he beheads (or nukes) Americans. But don’t worry, Garrow is still convinced that President Obama is this close to destroying America.

“His marxist muslim favorings lead to the trashing of the Judeo-Christian roots of America and its blessings from the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To sing the praises of allah and to replace the God that loved us enough to send His own Son to die in our place as a propitiation for our sins, with the death cult of the muslim is to insult the very basis on which the nation is founded,” Garrow writes on Facebook. “The arrogance of this man knows no bounds and will result in the death of this republic unless we stand tall and show him the door after telling him the meaning of ‘no.’”

He also reiterates his call for guerilla warfare against the government:

Will you arm yourself and provision yourself and have a plan for the defense of your families? Will you set aside food and other provisions that will carry you when society crumbles either from within or from wanton attack? Will you commit yourself and your family to the defense of America in the homeland? If you are nodding your head in agreement then I want to challenge you to learn the skills and tactics of the guerrilla warrior.

2) Liberal Jews Want Second Holocaust

Yesterday on NewsMax TV, David Horowitz said that President Obama is intentionally destroying America and Israel, but no one dares to criticize him “because he’s black.”

“Obama is the Manchurian candidate, he represents America’s enemies and he has just cut us off at the knees,” he said. “He’s a traitor, you have to look at Obama as a traitor, he supports the enemy.”

Horowitz also criticized left-leaning, “Jewish enemies of Israel” groups such as J Street, saying “so-called liberalism is now an enabling force in a second Holocaust, genocide.”

1) God Will Punish America For Gay Marriage

During yesterday’s March for Marriage, sponsored by the National Organization for Marriage and several other anti-gay groups, we learned from speaker after speaker that they are there to preach a message of love, including the loving message that God is about to destroy America if the public continues to support marriage equality.

Pennsylvania GOP politician Sam Rohrer told the crowd that same-sex marriage is threatening to “destroy” American society and “invite God’s judgment on the nation”; New York State Sen. Ruben Diaz railed against “Satanic” forces deceiving young people; and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee feared that Americans will soon reject God’s “hand of blessing” and as a result “feel his hand of judgment.”

Joyner: Civil War Inevitable Thanks To Obamacare

Televangelist Rick Joyner is convinced that a second revolution or a military coup are the only options left to fight President Obama, who he claims in his latest “Special Bulletin” is threatening government officials — including Chief Justice John Roberts — with blackmail.

The far-right preacher writes that the country is now in a precarious position similar to immediately before the American Revolution and the Civil War. He adds that today Americans live under the “slavery” of Obamacare and government.

Some think another revolution or civil war could never happen in America because a majority of Americans would never allow it. It would not require a majority, or even close to a majority, for this to happen. Marx was right when he declared that a tiny percentage of the passionate would rule the majority who are indifferent. This was proven when just twenty thousand Bolsheviks overthrew the Czar and took over Russia, a nation of millions and one of the strongest countries in the world at the time.

During the American Revolutionary War, roughly 30% of colonists were in favor of the Revolution, and only a small percentage of those actually participated in the conflict. Another 30% were loyal to the king and steadfastly opposed to revolution. The remaining 40% of the people tended to drift from one side to the other depending on who it looked like was winning, or they turned against one side because of the atrocities they were committing.

The revolutionaries during the American Revolution were liberals. The conservatives were loyalists to the British crown. The definition of liberal and conservative has changed since then but, after over 250 years, we continue to have the same general political breakdown: 30% liberal, 30% conservative, and 40% in-between. The American Civil War had a similar breakdown, and the acrimony is growing as it did before both of these two most terrible conflicts.

It Is Still About Slavery

Signs are strong that if we are not soon drawn back together as a nation, we will be torn apart. The basic issue dividing us continues to be slavery. This is not about a single people group being enslaved, but whether we will all become slaves of the state or remain a free people.

Many have attempted to give the impression that slavery in America was less cruel and diabolical than it really was. Some slave owners may have been relatively humane in their treatment of slaves, but the key word here is “relatively.” Slavery itself was inhumane and diabolical, and the American form was as bad, or worse, than what was found anywhere in history. The point is not to stir up old wounds, but to make a connection to the totalitarian slavery America is headed for if we do not change our direction. Neither Hitler nor Stalin had the technology for the kind of totalitarian control apparatus that is now in the hands of the U.S. Government. In the hands of the wrong people, whether from the right or the left, the kind of totalitarian control that could be imposed on America would be worse than has ever been known before.

The Supreme Court found the Affordable Care Act (ACA) constitutional on the basis of a decisive vote by Chief Justice Roberts, that it was in fact a tax which no one could understand, and which Roberts could not even explain. How could we not believe that someone had gotten to him? Was he threatened with the revelation of something about himself or a family member that is now being used to control him? Nothing else seems to make sense of Judge Roberts’ decision.

This will now be a cloud that hangs over all government officials—they are being controlled to keep them from speaking out or possibly voting as they would like, because something is being used to silence them. Just the threat that NSA information is being used in this way greatly erodes the trust of citizens in their government.

The Affordable Healthcare Act (ACA or ObamaCare) is the single biggest power grab in American history, and if fully implemented, could result in the worst tyranny ever. Just as rat poison is 98% food and only 2% poison, ObamaCare is filled with elements intended to appeal to almost everyone, but a most deadly poison is sown throughout it.

Joyner: The Founding Fathers Saw America 'As A Model For The Coming Kingdom Of God'

On yesterday's episode of "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events," Rick Joyner explained that he was not always what one would call a "patriot" because, as a pastor, he was mainly concerned with saving souls. Besides, he also had some concerns about some of the Founding Fathers and wasn't sure if they were really "inspired by divine principles, by biblical principles."

As such, he decided to look into the issue for himself in order to determine whether or not he should really care about what is happening to America and, lo and behold, God showed him "that America had been established by Him for a special purpose and I saw that purpose in the Scripture and I saw America in the prophetic books of the Bible."

In fact, during his course of study, Joyner also discovered that many of the Founding Fathers saw America "as a model for the coming Kingdom of God ... It was their vision of the Kingdom that they sought to bring forth in America":

Paranoia-Rama: Obama's Alien Mission, Comic Book Communism & How Salsa Is Destroying America

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.

Did you know that you can be thrown in jail simply for criticizing President Obama? Or that Obama will soon pretend to speak with aliens as part of a ploy to silence the criticism that he has apparently already criminalized? Learn more in this week’s edition of Paranoia-Rama:

5. Obama’s Alien-Canadian Plot

Since President Obama failed to nuke the U.S. and kill 90 percent of Americans, activist Jim Garrow claims that he is now preparing “the greatest deception that mankind has ever faced”: contact with alien life.

Apparently, attempting to nuke America didn’t help the president become more popular, so Garrow reasons that the president will now try to improve his polling numbers by pretending to be in “communication with people from other civilizations beyond Earth.” Garrow argues that if that doesn’t work, Obama will call in troops from Canada to start repressing and killing civilians… including Garrow himself.

4. Mexican Food Destroying America

The White Nationalists over at VDARE are outraged by the way the Associated Press reported on salsa becoming America’s No. 1 condiment. VDARE linked the stories of salsa overtaking ketchup to the War on Christmas, arguing that the media is trying to undercut America’s cultural identity with “Hispanic Cuisine Hype” and “the Demographic-Change-Is-Inevitable theme.”

Blogger Allan Wall asked, ruefully, if the “historic American nation” is about to be “radically transformed, beyond recognition, without our permission?”

3. Nelson Mandela Comic Book Is Dangerous Communist Brainwashing

Accuracy In Media’s Cliff Kincaid is upset about the release of a new comic book chronicling the life of Nelson Mandela, which Kincaid fears will indoctrinate kids into communism by not calling Mandela a communist.

“If used in schools and libraries, this comic book will deceive ‘students and reluctant readers’ about how communism has come to power in South Africa. What purpose is served by that?” Kincaid asks. “It will enable the same forces to make even more gains around the world, including in the United States, by operating as ‘progressives.’”

He is also upset that people refer to South Africa as a democratic state, as Kincaid believes it is a communist nation committing anti-white genocide.

2. It Is Now Illegal To Criticize Obama!

If it was a crime to criticize President Obama, then almost everyone we monitor here on RightWingWatch would probably be in jail right now. But televangelists Jim Bakker and Rick Joyner now seem to believe that the government has banned criticism of Obama.

“Usually I don’t mention the president anymore, it’s very frightening, because they can take and put you in prison now if you speak out against our leaders,” Bakker said. “I don’t know what happened to America, this is not the America I knew when I was a boy.” Joyner added: “I believe if we don’t speak out we’re all going to be in prison very, very soon.”

Of course, this is the exact same shtick that the far right used to gin up fear and anger during the debate over the 2009 Hate Crimes Prevention Act. Religious Right activists predicted that anti-gay activists and pastors would be thrown into jail as soon as the law was enacted. Of course, they were lying.

1. Benghazi Conspiracy Theory Gets Even More Desperate

As their conspiracy theory surrounding the 2012 Benghazi attack continues to unravel, now right-wing activists and Republicans claim the New York Times is part of a cover-up…of something.

After a Times investigation into the incident debunked the GOP’s messaging about the attack and the administration’s response, Republican congressmen including Mike Rogers, Trey Gowdy and Lynn Westmoreland are now saying that the Times editorial board must have concocted the report in order to help Hillary Clinton’s potential presidential campaign.

Of course, the congressmen have absolutely no evidence to back up any of their allegations, but it’s not like a lack of evidence got in the way of their increasingly desperate and partisan Benghazi witch hunt.

'They Can Take And Put You In Prison Now If You Speak Out Against Our Leaders'

Early last month, Rick Joyner was the guest on Jim Bakker's television program where the two men lamented that America has been lost, declared that President Obama was God's judgment upon this nation, and warned that Christians will wind up in prison in the very near future.

Bakker began by saying that he is now even reluctant to mention President Obama on his program "because they can take and put you in prison now if you speak out against our leaders." He then began to rant that the nation is "following leaders who have come against every tenet of the faith of the word of the living God" and declaring that "America is not America any more," which prompted Joyner to add that following leaders like this "is an ultimate depravity and that is what releases [God's] judgment against a nation and this is what we're experiencing."

"I believe, if we don't speak out, we're all going to be in prison very, very soon," Joyner said. "And it's going to be a worse prison then we could imagine ... If we don't have revival, if we don't have another great awakening, we're going to experience a tyranny and a totalitarian oppression far worse than anything that was experienced in the Twentieth Century":

Random Book Blogging: The 'Remarkable' Prophetic History Of Bob Jones

On several recent "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events" programs, host Rick Joyner has gone on and on about the amazing prophetic gifts possessed by his close ally and friend, Bob Jones. This is not the Bob Jones of the infamous Bob Jones University, but rather a modern day prophet who met the Arch Angel Gabriel when he was only seven years old.

Jones appeared on Joyner's program just last week and on Monday's broadcast, Joyner spent the bulk of the program marveling about what a "legend" Jones is, calling him "one of the most remarkable prophetic voices ... in our times."

Joyner's relentless fawning over Jones reminded us of this short excerpt from John MacArthur's recent book "Strange Fire: The Danger of Offending the Holy Spirit with Counterfeit Worship," which presents a rather different view of Jones and the entire movement of self-proclaimed modern day prophets and apostles that he, Joyner and their ilk inhabit :

Perhaps the most bizarre admission of modern prophetic error came during an extended interchange between self-proclaimed prophets Mike Bickle and Bob Jones—two of the most well-known figures associated with the Kansas City Prophets. While discussing the topic of "visions and revelations," Bickle asked Jones to talk about the numerous times his prophecies have been wrong. Here is a transcript of their conversation:

Mike Bickle: "Tell them about the error in your life; the measure of error that you have and the measure of accuracy, 'cause I want people to understand a little bit about that?"

Bob Jones: "Well, I've had a lot of measure of error in my life. I remember once that I got into pride. Every time I get into pride, boy, Papa [God] sure knows how to pop my bubble. And I got into pride and called a church into a three-day fast and told them that certain things was going to happen, and they went into a three-day fast. It was terrible. And after that three-day fast—it was terrible, and the Spirit didn't even show up that night ...."

Mike Bickle: "You called people to a fast?"

Bob Jones: "I sure did, and it wasn't of the Lord; it was of my pride. I thought you could force the Lord to do something through fasting—boy, I found out real quick you couldn't. So there's a bunch of old saints that was ready to stone me, and so I was ready to get out of there and I went home like any good prophet, and I resigned. And I bawled and I squalled and I finally went to sleep and when I went to sleep the Lord come and took hold of my hand. And [in my vision] I was about like this little girl right here ... only I was in a lot worse shape because I had a Pamper [diaper] on and I had really messed it good. It was running down both of my legs. And the Lord had a hold of my hand and I was a bawlin' and a squallin'. . . . And I heard a voice sort of speak, puzzled I can say, 'What happened to Bob?' And my [heavenly] counselor spoke up and said, 'He had an accident."

Mike Bickle: "Spoke some wrong words."

Bob Jones: "'Yeah. He had an accident. He messed his Pamper real bad: And I think, 'Oh boy, here it comes.' And then I really got a surprise. A gentle, tender voice said, That boy needs more insurance. Let him know we've got him covered from them accidents. Give him a higher insurance policy.' That wasn't what I was looking for because I just resigned. 'Clean him up—tell him to go back into the body and prophesy twice as much. This time, he'll do what I'll tell him to: The next thing I knew I was back in bed, and boy, I come awake and man, I mean sweat was rolling down." ...

Mike Bickle: "So there has been errors; there's been a number of errors."

Bob Jones: "Oh, hundreds of them."

Jones's comments illustrate two of the primary problems with modern prophecy: it is chock-full of errors and inaccuracies, and it abounds with a level of sacrilegious lunacy that certainly does not find its source in God. Jones may have chosen just the right analogy in comparing his prophetic errors to a dirty diaper, but he is wrong about everything else. His claims to be a true prophet are obviously bogus. He does not have true visions of heaven. And God has certainly not given him "insurance" that allows him to get away with hundreds of errors as if it's no big deal.

Fewer than three years after that interview, Bob Jones was temporarily removed from public ministry by the Metro Vineyard Fellowship of Kansas City in Olathe, Kansas, whose senior pastor was none other than Mike Bickle. It had come to light that Jones was using false "prophecies" as a means of gaining trust from women whom he then abused sexually. "The sins for which [he was] removed from ministry include[d] using his gifts to manipulate people for his personal desires, sexual misconduct, rebelling against pastoral authority, slandering leaders and the promotion of bitterness within the body of Christ." He nevertheless returned to the charismatic limelight after a short hiatus, and as of this writing, he is still speaking in charismatic churches, presenting himself as an anointed prophet of God, and making prophecies that are demonstrably false and often patently ridiculous.' Thousands of gullible charismatics still hang on his every word—as if all the scandal and false prophesying never happened. The fact that Jones's online biography compares his ministry to that of the prophet Daniel only heightens the blasphemous nature of the whole fiasco.

Joyner: Satan Wants To Place America Under The 'Worst Totalitarian Police State' In History

Watching Rick Joyner's "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events" program is truly an exercise in futility because Joyner possess an amazing ability to speak for extended periods of time while literally saying nothing at all, resulting in broadcast after broadcast filled with nothing vague and contradictory statements.

This week, Joyner has been defending his earlier prediction that America is headed toward martial law and insisting that he still believes to that to be the case.  And, according to Joyner, it could be the key to reestablishing the Constitution ... or it could end up leading to the worst tyranny humanity has ever known.

So, that pretty much covers all the possibilities.

But what Joyner knows for sure is that "the enemies of God have pretty much taken control over America" and have stripped away the right to expression, the freedom of religion, and the freedom of speech so that they are now on the verge of disappearing forever if Christians don't stand up.

After all, as Joyner explained, God showed him twenty five years ago that Satan's mission is to ensure that America comes "under the worst form to tyranny there has ever been on the earth, the worst totalitarian police state there has ever been on the earth":

Bentley: It Rained Gold During Our Revival In South Africa

Back in 2008, a revival broke out in Lakeland, Florida led by Charismatic preacher Todd Bentley during which thousands of people supposedly found God, had visions, and experienced divine healings of various diseases. Shortly thereafter, Bentley fell from grace when he divorced his wife and married another woman.

Rick Joyner, a close friend of Bentley's, then set about "restoring" Bentley so that he could eventually "be fully released back into ministry."

And that restoration process must have been a smashing success, because Joyner had Bentley on his "Prophetic Perspective on Current Events" program this week to discuss another revival that he just led in South Africa during which the "Winds of Change Angel" touched Bentley's current wife, causing her to become covered in gold that she could not wash off.

Everywhere they went, Bentley said, everything was covered in gold, from their hotel rooms to the airplanes upon which they flew and even the meeting rooms where they met with local pastors.

"I had one meeting where we were in worship," Bentley said, "and you could see the Cloud of Glory with open eyes and it rained gold.  When I say it rained gold, Rick, I actually saw it almost looked like snowflakes of gold coming down":
