Todd Starnes is smart: "If the folks coming across the border were evangelical Christians hoping to home school their kids, Obama would call up the Marines." Lou Engle acolyte and Bound4LIFE founder Brian Kim recounts the day his liberal professor "confirmed a vision from God" for him. Look who is palling around Europe with Mike Huckabee. Glenn Beck seems pretty sure that President Obama is trying to foment a race war by announcing action on deportations at the same time as Missouri braces for an announcement regarding the possible indictment of Officer... An email sent from Charisma media, a Pentecostal media company, brings the “news” that Obamacare has killed its millionth person. Amazingly, this milestone was reached even before health care reform has been fully implemented. The claim is not documented or explained in any way. It seems to be mostly an attention-grabbing way to promote some right-wing hucksterism. Here’s how the letter starts: Obamacare Just Killed its Millionth Person... Dear Concerned Citizen, The eleventh hour is upon us. In the coming weeks, the full impact of Obamacare will take... MORE >

Right-wing activist and former California legislator Steve Baldwin has organized an open letter to “Conservative, Catholic and Evangelical Leaders” asking them to refuse support for Mitt Romney’s campaign for president. Already a number of activists including failed US Senate candidate and Tea Party hero Joe Miller; Rick Scarborough of Vision America; Brian Camenker of MassResistance; Linda Harvey of Mission America; Michael Farris of the Home School Legal Defense Association; Ted Beahr of WND and Movieguide; Gary Glenn of American Family Association-Michigan, Kelly... Last week when Jeremy Hooper discovered that the Family Research Council was planning to roll out a campaign fighting back against the Southern Poverty Law Center's designation of the organization as an anti-gay hate group, we noted that FRC was asking people to sign on to the campaign to "stand in solidarity with Family Research Council, American Family Association, Concerned Women of America, National Organization for Marriage, Liberty Counsel and other pro-family organizations that are working to protect and promote natural marriage and family." By doing so, we pointed... MORE >

Last year, we wrote a series of posts about the How To Take Back America Conference which was hosted by Janet Porter and Phyllis Schlafly and several other Religious Right groups and featured as speakers everyone from Mike Huckabee to Michele Bachmann to Trent Franks. This year, the event has been taken over by Joseph Farah and WorldNetDaily and seems to have lost most of its ties to the Religious Right, which is why we had not really mentioned it until now. The speaker's list contained just the sort of fringe right-wing activists you'd expect from a WND-organized conference: ... MORE >

That is the question asked by those behind the new effort to impeach President Obama which is, of course, being covered by WorldNetDaily: A political activist who was behind the famous Willie Horton advertisement that left Gov. Michael Dukakis' candidacy for president floundering and was among the first to sound the alarm on the need for Bill Clinton's impeachment says the United States is collapsing around its citizens right now, but there is a defense. "Make no mistake. We're now in the middle of a bloodless coup – the takeover of an entire nation by the hate-America crowd... MORE >

In a move that nobody could have ever predicted, 150+ right-wing activists have signed on to a letter to the Senate opposing the confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor to the Supreme Court: 156 conservative and constitutional cause leaders and citizens have signed a letter to members of the U.S. Senate expressing opposition to the confirmation of President Obama's nominee to be an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Sonia Sotomayor. One of the letter's signers, Richard A. Viguerie, said, "The media and Republicans aren't defining President Obama as an extremist politically... MORE >
