LaBarbera: LGBT Rights Will Cause America's Downfall

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality joined Religious Right activist Penna Dexter on her “Point of View” radio show on Wednesday, where he claimed transgenderism is deviant and abhorrent and that government support for LGBT rights will lead to the “downfall” of America.

LaBarbera said that in backing LGBT rights, the Obama administration is supporting “the gender-confused” and is “mainstreaming deviance.” “Rather than protecting people and guiding them to the social good, you are instead catering and pandering and incentivizing effective abhorrence,” LaBarbera said.

He continued, “It’s one thing if a person struggles with something, and our hearts as believers, as Christians, they go out, the people who are struggling with any sin problem or any confusion, we want to help them.”

“When it comes to the point of government then saying ‘We will reward  misidentification, we will turn it into a civil right,’ thereby insulting every black American in our history by comparing gender confusion-based rights and homosexuality-based rights to real civil rights,” he said, “when it gets to that point you’re really incentivizing confusion and you’re bringing about the downfall of your country.”

  • Peter LaBarbera says that "now the Sexual Left–having legally destroyed the meaning of marriage with the eager help of the U.S. Supreme Court–has moved on to 'mainstreaming' and mandating accommodation for (trans)gender rebels–think men with fake boobs and a penis invading female restrooms; sadomasochism; men becoming human 'dogs'; and 'polyamory' (anti-fidelity). As for pedophilia, that lobby is still gearing up–mimicking the successful, manipulative tactics of the 'gay liberation' movement by portraying themselves as the aggrieved 'victims' of an inconvenient 'orientation.'"

It would be a massive sledgehammer for the federal government and homosexual lawyers to come against small businesses, or anybody who comes out against homosexual so-called marriage, or transgender bathrooms, or other aspects of the gay and transgender agenda."

Religious Right Activists Demand Disney Heroine Get A Boyfriend, Stop 'Homosexualizing Kids'

In response to a Twitter campaign urging Disney to “give Elsa a girlfriend” in the sequel to the popular children’s movie “Frozen,” the social conservative group CitizenGo is circulating its own petition demanding that Disney “follow its normal trend and create a Prince character to fall in love” with the movie’s heroine.

The National Organization for Marriage’s Brian Brown is one of five board members of CitizenGo, which is meant to be sort of a global social conservative version of MoveOn.org.

In an email to CitizenGo members yesterday, Gregory Mertz wrote that the prospect of Elsa being a lesbian was “frightening” and urged members to tweet with the hashtag #CharmingPrinceForElsa:

Disney is facing fierce pressure from liberal groups who are demanding their writers turn Queen Elsa into a lesbian during the sequel, “Frozen 2.”

Please join the 37,000 who’ve already signed our petition against thisabsurd “movement.”

With our petition, we’re suggesting Disney with a much better idea… An idea that promotes solid family values to our children and represents the natural family.

Join the 37,000 -- sign our petition, now, to Disney asking that Elsa fall in love with a Prince. #CharmingPrinceForElsa:

Queen Elsa a Lesbian? Thinking about our children, this idea is frightening.

“We call on Disney to follow its normal trend and create a Prince character to fall in love with Queen Elsa,” reads CitizenGo’s petition, which has gathered 65,000 signatures.

“We ask that Disney find a nice and loving Prince for Queen Elsa to fall in love with,” it demands.

Treating the situation even less calmly, predictably, was far-right pastor Kevin Swanson, the extremist pastor who attracted national attention last year when he hosted a conference that was attended by three Republican presidential candidates. (At the conference, one speaker said the song “Let It Go” from “Frozen” was “Satan’s rebellion anthem.”)

Swanson, who warned that the first “Frozen” movie was a satanic plot to turn kids gay, returned to the theme on his radio program yesterday, saying that putting gay characters in children’s movies like “Frozen” is “the way you destroy an entire civilization.”

“Anybody who has the guts to stand up against the homosexualizing of kids in the present day will be shamed for it,” he said, “and that means that the homosexualizing of kids will be, I think, wholesale happening across this country in the next two, three, four, five, 10 years. Of course Elsa is going to get her girlfriend eventually. That’s the way you destroy sexuality. That’s the way you destroy an entire civilization. The entire social system of the United States of America is collapsing.”

“You have got to be sure that you have homosexualized four-year-olds and six-year-olds and eight-year-olds and ten-year-olds in order to destroy a civilization,” he added, “because the destruction of a civilization happens over two or three or maybe four generations max. In order to bring a civilization down, you’ve got to homosexualize the kids.”

Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality is also displeased with the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend campaign, telling the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow today that it shows “the LGBT activists will use any vehicle they can to indoctrinate children.”

'Jesus Killed The Sodomites': Walid Shoebat Furiously Attacks Anti-Gay Activists Who Criticized His Son

Extremist anti-gay activist Theodore Shoebat has been locked in a battle of words with other anti-gay activists for several months, ever since Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality reportedly tried to have footage of Shoebat removed from an anti-gay documentary because of his radical views.

Shoebat was featured in Janet Porter's "Light Wins" film last year, along with a variety of anti-gay activists and several Republican presidential hopefuls and members of Congress. Once we began to post clips of Shoebat openly calling for a global Inquisition that would put all gays to death, LaBarbera reportedly sought to have Shoebat removed from Porter's film, which eventually led to Shoebat attacking LaBarbera as a "filthy pig" and a "traitor."

The fighting has only escalated in the wake of Shoebat's recent assertion that Jesus would have personally beaten gays to death, which was denounced by LaBarbera, as well as by fellow anti-gay activist Michael Brown.

This did not sit well with Shoebat's father, Walid, a supposed "ex-terrorist" who posted a furious screed on his website attacking LaBarbera, Brown, Matt Barber and anyone else who has dared to criticize his son's extremist views, accusing them of worshiping gay blogger Joe Jervis of Joe.My.God instead of the one true God:

So how much will the Evangelical movement in the United States go to please the LGBT agenda?

When Shoebat.com posted this video on four homosexual wrestlers who raped two boys calling for a death penalty for these rapists, it upset one blaspheming homosexual and Right Wing Watch. These taunted the Evangelical movement causing an uproar with top level leaders calling on them to denounce Shoebat.com. They quickly lined up to show their support and denounced Shoebat.com for calling for the “death penalty” for gay rapists.

Several Evangelical leaders began hurling denunciations and articles against our infamous Theodore Shoebat for his views calling for the death penalty for rapists and child molesters.

According to these Evangelical leaders, calling for the death penalty for gay rapists, gay child molesters is  ‘unchristian’. The heavyweights from Calvinist John Piper to Dr. Michael Brown, Peter LaBarbera (1), Matt Barber and others were irate at Theodore’s remarks.

Who controls these leaders? One major gay activist who wraps Evangelical scholars around his finger gives himself the blasphemous title as “Joe My God,” so that when they twitter him they would blaspheme calling him “My God” instead of Christ. The trick stems from when Caesar wanted the Christian world to address him as kyrios (My lord) which St. Paul denounced by stating “that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” (Philippians 2:11), that is that Christ is Kyrios not Caesar.

But now, this sodomite blasphemer, Joe, has become their god instead.

To please Joe the Blasphemer they go as far as lining up to denounce the young Shoebat for calling for the death penalty to even twisting arms to scrub and edit out Theodore’s contribution in an anti-gay documentary.

Shoebat even went on to defend his son's assertion that Jesus would kill gays, arguing that it was Christ who carried out the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah:

Did Jesus kill gays? Nothing was ever said in this silly half-baked article that in the Bible it is as clear as the sun, Jesus killed the sodomites. Most modern theologians intentionally overlook and refuse to disclose that some of the best passages of scripture ever used regarding the Trinity and the Theophany is within the context when Christ completely annihilated the sodomites.

Anyone who denies this ask them: was it Christ Who met with Abraham and announced the destruction of Sodom? In Genesis Abraham is visited by three figures, one of whom he refers to as “My Lord” (Genesis 18:3), and Who Scripture calls “the LORD” (Genesis 18:17).

No sane theologian would argue that this person wasn’t Christ. After much feasting, Christ and the other two men left Abraham to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah (see Genesis 18:21-22). Christ even referred to His meeting with Abraham in the New Testament when He said:“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad” (John 8:56, also see St. Gregory as recorded by St. Aquinas, Catena Aurea). It was so clear in scripture that it was Christ Who killed ‘the gays.’

It won’t be easy, but there’s no greater way to honor Justice Scalia’s legacy than showing the same tenacity that characterized it."

Bryan Fischer: 'The Proper Christian Response' To A Gay Couple's Wedding Is 'Grief And Sorrow'

Bryan Fischer invited Peter LaBarbera on to his radio program today so that LaBarbera could share his "research" on which of the GOP presidential candidates are insufficiently anti-gay and therefore should not receive the support of conservative Christian voters this primary season.

Donald Trump was at the top of the list, LaBarbera explained, because he once attended a gay wedding and called it "beautiful."

"Trump went to a so-called gay wedding himself of a friend in New York," LaBarbera said, "and he was quoted as saying, 'It was a beautiful thing.' Trump said that the gay wedding, so-called, that he went to between two men was a beautiful thing. And you have to ask yourself, Bryan, how many Christians ... would say that a homosexual so-called marriage is a beautiful thing?"

Fischer, of course, totally agreed.

"If you have a biblical worldview, you'd be grieved for them," he said. "You'd be grieved for what they're heading into, grieved for the way in which homosexual behavior separates them from God, the risks that it's putting them at, the risk that it's going to put children to if they're adopted into that household. So the proper response would not be joy, it would not be celebration; the proper Christian response would grief and sorrow over what these two people are doing to themselves and also to others."

Dave Daubenmire: Parents Would Rather Have Their Sons Be Addicted To Drugs Than Gay

Yesterday, anti-gay activists "Coach" Dave Daubenmire and Mike Heath began producing a daily "internet TV show" that is basically Heath and Daubenmire participating in a Google Hangout while railing against the "gay agenda."

On yesterday's inaugural broadcast, Daubenmire and Heath were joined by Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality and LaBarbera and Daubenmire spent a good deal of time discussing their respective distrust of the "establishment" pro-family groups and railed against what they see as the movement's unwillingness to truly fight against the acceptance of homosexuality.

This supposed reluctance to fight, LaBarbera explained, has resulted in things like the legalization of gay marriage, which, in turn, will result in public schools teaching young students how to engage in "safer gay sex" and "oral-anal sex."

That prompted Daubenmire to go off on a tangent about how, if a teenage boy asked to talk to his parents about an important issue, every parent would start praying that their son was not going to tell them that he is gay.

"If your son came to you and said, 'Hey, Dad, I need to talk with you and Mom about something really, really important,'" Daubenmire declared, "for that two hours that you're waiting for that meeting to come, Pete, how many parents would be saying, "Oh Lord, please let it be drugs; Lord, please let it be alcoholism; Oh Lord, please let it be that he got some girl pregnant.' How many parents say, 'Oh Lord please, don't let it be homosexuality'? That's the truth of it, isn't it Pete, that no parent wants to hear that? No parent wants to hear that, yet we teach it as normal in our public schools. It's unbelievable."

LaBarbera, of course, was in complete agreement.

"You're absolute right, Coach," he said. "Nobody is saying, 'Wow, I'm so glad I have a homosexual son."

Peter LaBarbera Says The Biggest 'Danger Right Now In America Is Gayria Law'

Anti-gay activist Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality was a guest on Janet Mefferd's radio program last week, where the two discussed the lawsuit that ultimately shut down the ex-gay "reparative" therapy group JONAH, which LaBarbera said is a sign that "gayria law" is taking over America.

After saying that faulting ex-gay organizations for failing to turn all gays straight is like blaming drug rehab clinics for the failure of patients to kick drugs, LaBarbera blamed the shuttering of JONAH on the rise of "gayria law."

"This effort to squelch dissent is just extraordinary," he said, "and I think it is really unique to the homosexual movement ... I'm calling it gayria law. We talk about sharia law, but I think the bigger danger right now in America is gayria law, it's this all-encompassing drive, this totalitarian drive to enforce gay power everywhere, and it's growing."

Theodore Shoebat Blasts Peter LaBarbera And Other Anti-Gay Activists As Filthy, Soulless Pigs

One of the reasons that we started regularly covering extremist right-wing activist Theodore Shoebat and his open calls for gays to be put to death was because he was featured in Janet Porter's anti-gay documentary "Light Wins" along with Republican presidential candidates, members of Congress, and leading anti-gay activists.

Once Shoebat's views began to be exposed, his allies in the "pro-family" movement began to distance themselves from him, and Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality, who is an anti-gay extremist in his own right and who also appeared in Porter's documentary, disavowed Shoebat and his call to execute gays.

That, of course, did not sit very well with Shoebat, who blasted LaBarbera in his latest video as a "filthy pig" and a "traitor" for refusing that stand by Shoebat and his calls to put gays to death.

"You betrayed Christ. You betrayed Christianity when you turned your back on me," Shoebat fumed, blasting LaBarbera for having acquiesced to the "sodomites" instead of "standing by me, a fellow Christian."

"You betrayed true Christianity," Shoebat said. "When God demands the death penalty for the sodomite, you go against God himself ... You are an enemy of Christ and all of you cowards, you superficial empty skeletons, you walking tombs, you soulless, superficial reprobates who call yourself Christians, you are false prophets. You are pigs! You are worse than pigs, you are lower than Sodom and Gomorrah because you deceive people. You portray yourself as promoters of family values and Christianity, but you're nothing but demonoids."

Linda Harvey: Pro-LGBT Companies Are Like 'Concentration Camps'

On Saturday, Mission America’s Linda Harvey spoke with Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality about how she and other anti-gay activists are running out of places to shop because so many major businesses have announced their support for LGBT rights.

Harvey criticized the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, which she called “a huge fascist scheme to reward homosexual, this immoral behavior, and I can’t imagine how many hundreds of thousands of stories there are out there that we never hear about of people in the workplace whose views are silenced and feel like they work in a concentration camp.”

“Well yes, that’s what political correctness does,” LaBarbera said. “It forces people to be victimized at work.”

In a recent radio commentary, Harvey similarly vented her outrage that she can’t find anywhere to go Christmas shopping because “the big retailers” are “doing everything the homosexual movement wants them to do.”

Scott Lively Names Anti-Gay 'Inquisition' Advocate Theodore Shoebat Among The Anti-Gay 'Heroes' Of 2015

Earlier this week, extremist anti-gay activist Scott Lively released his list of the "Top Ten Pro-Family Heroes of 2015," highlighting anti-gay activists "who showed courage under fire or whose words and actions gave special encouragement to our movement."

As the "2015 Pro-Family Hero of the Year," Lively rewarded Brian Camenker of MassResistance with a $500 donation and urged his supporters to financially support these other "worthy organizations" to "help them in their work":

Theodore Shoebat

Very Special Thanks to pro-family hero Linda Harvey of Mission America for her help in compiling this list.

Theodore Shoebat is, of course, a truly deranged anti-gay activist who has openly and repeatedly called for a"global inquisition" to force gay people to either submit to Christianity or be put to death:

Ted Cruz Vows To Fight Gay Rights In Extremist Conference Call

Update: Jackson later endorsed Cruz in a statement.

Sen. Ted Cruz continues to woo anti-gay extremists, this time appearing on a conference call for conservative activists organized by E.W. Jackson, the former GOP nominee for lieutenant governor of Virginia.

During his run for office, Jackson won notoriety for his remarks about gay people, whom he referred to in one interview with fringe anti-gay leader Peter LaBarbera as “perverted,” “degenerate,” “spiritually darkened” and “frankly very sick people psychologically, mentally and emotionally.”

As it happens, LaBarbera, the leader of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality, was on the call that Jackson organized with Cruz last week and had a chance to ask the Texas Republican about his stance on “the gay agenda.”

LaBarbera asked Cruz how he would reverse the Supreme Court’s marriage equality ruling and if he would “end Obama’s policy of actually flying the rainbow flag at U.S. embassies worldwide” and oppose “the Equality Act, which I’m calling the Homosexual Superiority Act, in Congress.”

Cruz only answered LaBarbera’s first question about the Obergefell case, railing against the landmark gay marriage decision as “one of the greatest threats to our democracy we had seen in modern times,” and went on to criticize President Obama for being “more interested in promoting homosexuality in the military than he is in defeating our enemy.”

“It is the decision reminiscent of Roe v. Wade of a handful of unelected judges arrogantly and lawlessly decreeing the authority to fundamentally change our country and to tear down the foundations of the country,” Cruz added.

He also criticized Republicans who decided to “surrender” to the Supreme Court and treat Obergefell as the “settled law of the land.”

My response to this decision was that it was illegitimate, it was lawless, it was utterly contrary to the Constitution and that we should fight to defend marriage on every front,” he said, before promoting constitutional amendments to overturn the ruling and put justices up for retention elections, along with legislation “to strip the federal courts of jurisdiction over challenges to marriage.”

Cruz conceded that none of his proposals are politically feasible at the moment. Once he is elected president, however, Cruz said he will make sure that “we will not use the federal government to enforce this lawless decision that is a usurpation of the authority of we the people in this country.” He also committed to only appoint Supreme Court justices who would not “legislate from the bench” like the justices did in Obergefell.

Jackson then asked Cruz to address how “the military is beset with these new LGBT rules and I’m just hearing terrible things.” Cruz agreed:

You look at the military and one of the things we’ve seen is morale in the military under the Obama administration has plummeted, and it has plummeted because you have a commander-in-chief that doesn’t support our soldiers and sailors and airmen and marines, you have a commander-in-chief that doesn’t stand up against our enemies, that won’t even acknowledge or say the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism’ and you have a commander-in-chief that treats the military as a cauldron for social experimentation. He’s more interested in promoting homosexuality in the military than he is in defeating our enemy.

For example, the military is now focused on trying to promote transgendered [sic] soldiers. The role of the military is not to be some left-wing social experiment. The reason we have the brave men and women who sign up as service men and women to defend this nation is to stand for our values, to protect our safety and security, to protect innocent men and women and to stand up and defeat our enemies, and I would stop the shameless politicizing of our military to push a left-wing agenda that is contrary to the values and contrary to who we are as an American people and a nation founded on Judeo-Christian values.

Later in the conference call, Jackson hailed Cruz as a “real believer” who is “not one of these candidates who is going to say, ‘I believe in traditional marriage but I would attend a gay wedding if it was a friend of mine.’”

Jackson expressed confidence that Cruz would “reverse this garbage and go in and clean the military up and get that transgender craziness out of the military and stop this implementation of this sexual-psycho garbage that this president has foisted on the military.”

The military, Jackson said, is now only focused on “sexual nonsense that the left thinks is so very important,” warning that “even some of these Republicans, I think they would just leave it as is because, as he said, some of them say, ‘Oh, it’s federal law, it’s over, it’s done with and we just need to move on.’”

How are we going to move on and be prosperous as a nation if we are spitting in the face of Almighty God? And that is exactly what this whole homosexual, same-sex, transgender stuff has done,” Jackson said. “It is spitting in the face of Almighty God. And sooner or later, people are going to have to answer for it.”

“There will be a price to pay for that kind of rank rebellion because the Bible is true,” he added. “Ted Cruz understands that.”

Ironically, Jackson denied making similar remarks during his unsuccessful campaign for statewide office in Virginia.

  • Speaking of Beck, isn't his assertion that Ted Cruz possesses an "audiographic memory" that allows him to exactly repeat anything he hears verbatim because it "imprints on him an audio file" somewhat undercut by the fact that Cruz was unable to perfectly reenact a scene from "The Princess Bride"?
  • Burt Prelutsky says that "more and more, as you look around the world or at our own political landscape, it seems to be the case that Satan has thrown open the doors and furloughed the worst offenders, perhaps following the lead of his friend and close associate, Barack Obama, who is doing his best to release killers, rapists and terrorists from our prisons and from Guantanamo."
  • Bradlee Dean blasts the "American people who have tolerated those who have committed the crimes of a foreign, Third-World dictator in their own country."
  • Finally, Peter LaBarbera says that "in most cases open homosexuals who gain elected office end up promoting homosexuality, because they have this desperate need to rationalize their sexual sin."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/12/15

  • Peter LaBarbera is apparently relocating the headquarters of his Americans For Truth About Homosexuality organization to Washington, D.C.
  • Paul Hair says "I revere the American Founding and love humanity. Thus, I hate what America has become."
  • A Republican state legislator is targeting the University of Missouri for daring to research the question of whether a state law requiring a 72-hour waiting period for abortions is effective.
  • FRC prays against Planned Parenthood: "May the right actions of Congress and the prayers of your people mitigate the judgment that is now upon America."
  • Finally, Gordon Klingenschmitt says that a court victory for Christian street preachers who were harassed while preaching at an Arab-American festival is also a victory for Muslims "because now they have a right to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ which can save their souls from Hell."

LaBarbera said that in backing LGBT rights, the Obama administration is supporting “the gender-confused” and is “mainstreaming deviance.” “Rather than protecting people and guiding them to the social good, you are instead catering and pandering and... Peter LaBarbera says that "now the Sexual Left–having legally destroyed the meaning of marriage with the eager help of the U.S. Supreme Court–has moved on to 'mainstreaming' and mandating accommodation for (trans)gender rebels–think men with fake boobs and a penis invading female restrooms; sadomasochism; men becoming human 'dogs'; and 'polyamory' (anti-fidelity). As for pedophilia, that lobby is still gearing up–mimicking the successful, manipulative tactics of the 'gay liberation' movement by portraying themselves as the... MORE >

David Barton, of all people, complains that Donald Trump "will come out with some egregious, outrageous claim, and no one ever requires him to prove it." We have the same complaint about Barton. Pamela Geller defends David Horowitz's "renegade Jew" article: "It's revealing how weak, spineless Jews go off when a proud Jew calls out them out." Phil Robertson wants to be Donald Trump's "spiritual adviser." A federal judge has "ordered Kansas to register thousands of voters whose paperwork is on hold because they did not... MORE >

In an email to CitizenGo members yesterday... MORE >

Glenn Beck has laid off dozens more employees and he basically blamed everyone but himself on his radio program today. In a shocking development, Ted Cruz's campaign tells us that Cruz supporters think his idea to name Carly Fiorina as his vice presidential running mate was a stroke of genius. Peter LaBarbera blasts Kelly Ripa for gay-brainwashing her son. Pamela Geller says that Donald Trump's proposed ban on Muslim immigration is "a common-sense solution." Matt Barber says that Target's policy supporting transgender employees and customers is "... MORE >

Janet Porter is asking for Christians to fast and pray before the Ohio primary tomorrow in which she is running for a seat in the state senate. Second Amendment zealot Jan Morgan has withdrawn her endorsement of Ted Cruz because "his decision to blame Trump for the violence and actions of paid, liberal thugs/ protestors in Chicago is unconscionable." Speaking of Cruz, he is bravely taking a stand and will not support Trump as the GOP nominee in the general election, but only if Trump happens to shoot somebody. Jesse Lee Peterson says that Trump is... MORE >

Once we began to post clips of Shoebat openly calling for a global Inquisition that would... MORE >

Peter LaBarbera denounces Theodore Shoebat's statement that Jesus would kill gays after Shoebat called LaBarbera a "filthy pig" a few weeks ago. E.W. Jackson has a plan to get evangelicals to vote by mobilizing pastors. Gee, that is original. "Coach" Dave Daubenmire says that "America is being controlled by perverted thoughts being promoted by perverted people.  Perverted sense has replaced common sense." Just what America needs: "Today CRTV announced the launch of LevinTV, hosted by one of the nation’s most compelling,... MORE >
