Christian Nationalist David Lane's effort to turn America into a theocracy moves forward as he seeks to recruit 1,000 pastors to run for public office. David Lazarus says that Muslims praying in the National Cathedral "looked like a chilling scene from a Last Days, anti-Christ-takes-over-the-world disaster movie." Here is a helpful tip for the folks over at OneNewsNow: The man in the image featured in this article is not Bishop Harry Jackson, it is E.W. Jackson. Glenn Beck continues to insist that "the AP should be ashamed of themselves" for having "... MORE >

Rick Santorum will reportedly announce by June of 2015 whether he is going to run for president. William Gheen asks ALIPAC members to tell their members of Congress: "My family did not fight two World Wars and a Revolutionary War to protect America's Constitution and freedoms for you to facilitate Obama acting as a dictator and aiding an invasion of the United States of America that is killing American jobs and killing American citizens!" Jesse Lee Peterson defends Bill Cosby: "The liberal elite power brokers in the Democratic Party can’t allow Cosby’... MORE >

Mike Huckabee is currently leading dozens of conservative pastors through the U.S. and Europe on a junket he’s calling “Mike Huckabee’s Reagan, Thatcher, Pope John Paul II Tour.” On Friday, the group stopped at Auschwitz and Birkenau, where a speaker inevitably compared today’s America to Nazi Germany. Huckabee, who has repeatedly warned that the U.S. is transforming into Nazi Germany, invited Kitty Werthmann of Eagle Forum to discuss her experience living in Austria during the Nazi takeover. Werthmann frequently travels the country speaking about what she sees... MORE >

Gov. Bobby Jindal will reportedly be hosting a David Lane-organized prayer rally in Louisiana in January, much like Gov. Rick Perry did in Texas in 2011. Rick Joyner says "No President has been so resoundingly rebuked by the American people as was done with the Elections of 2014. The House now has its largest majority in history, and it is Republican." Neither of those claims are true. Tony Perkins claims that "as conservatives, we aren’t looking for businesses to take our side." Oh, really? James Robison is cautiously optimistic about the election... MORE >

Glenn Beck's constantly shifting positions are now starting to confuse even his loyal audience, with one listener saying today, "I feel like I’m taking crazy pill" just trying to figure out Beck's contradictory stances. David Lane issues a word of warning: "Secularism’s worldliness will only tolerate Christianity so long as its carnal tranquility is not disturbed or its authority challenged. But let the Christian bring his biblical values to the political arena, and he is immediately denounced as narrow-minded, out of step, behind the times, and a... MORE >

Mike Huckabee will be taking eighteen pastors from Iowa on an all-expenses paid "Reagan, Thatcher, Pope John Paul II Tour" through Europe and Religious Right organizer/Christian nationalist David Lane will be footing the bill. The Blaze's Dana Loesch is freaking out over Ebola: "Stop it! People, stop trying to prove to everyone that there is no reason to panic. There IS a reason to panic!" Billy Graham says that "America is just as wicked as Sodom and Gomorrah ever were, and as deserving of the judgment of God." Bryan Fischer addressed our post... MORE >
Ted Cruz And GOP Leaders Record Ads For Far-Right Groups: 'God's People' Must 'Restore' American Values

David Lane is an extremely influential but notoriously media-shy Religious Right activist who regularly organizes secretive events at which leading Republican politicians speak to pastors in key swing states in an effort to mobilize conservative Christian voters. He is also a full-blown Christian nationalist who believes that the Bible should serve as "the principal textbook" for public education and has warned that the United States would see car bombings all over the nation as a result of God's judgment because "homosexuals [were] praying at the inauguration" of... The Values Voter Summit is thick with Republican presidential wannabes and members of Congress — a potent counter to recurring claims that the Religious Right is dead or dying as a political force. And the VVS is not the only place Republican candidates and politicians court Religious Right leaders and activists. Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition had a pile of elected officials at its “Road to Majority” conference this summer. And, as we’ve reported, Republican presidential hopefuls make regular appearances at events convened by Christian-nation extremist... MORE >
