Bryan Fischer: GOP Invited 'A Demon-God Into Its Party'

Yesterday, American Family Radio host Bryan Fischer criticized the Republican National Convention for allowing Sajid Tarar of American Muslims for Trump to deliver a closing prayer on the second day of the convention.

“The Republican Party last night allowed a demonic power to be invited into its building,” he said.

Fischer said Republicans at the event “collectively committed the sin of idolatry” by observing the prayer and committed a “dangerous” act by inviting “a demon-God into its party.”

“Multiculturalism, ladies and gentlemen, is simply a six syllable words for cultural suicide,” he continued, pleading with the party to “clean up this mess” by asking a Christian preacher to pray over the event.

Right-Wing Anti-Islam Activist Says America Must 'Close Every Single Mosque'

On the "Stand in the Gap" radio program last week, Sam Rohrer and Gary Dull of the American Pastors Network interviewed an anti-Islam activist named IQ al Rassooli about the terrorist attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando earlier this month, which al Rassooli asserted occurred because the shooter, Omar Mateen, was gay (a claim which the FBI disputes) and was seeking to appease Allah in hopes that Allah would make him straight in the afterlife so he could enjoy his 72 virgins.

Every Muslim, al Rassooli proclaimed, supports violent jihad and those who claim that they do not — like President Obama — are simply lying.  Anyone who cannot see that, al Rassooli said, belongs in a "mental asylum."

"You know what you have to do?" al Rassooli asked. "You have to close every single mosque. You have to remove every single imam. You must not allow sharia. You must not allow hijab ... This is exactly what needs to be done."

Polls purporting to show that many Muslims do not support the imposition of Sharia are false, he asserted, because those who insist they don't are simply engaging in taqiyya.

"Every Muslim wants Sharia," al Rassooli declared. "The 49 percent [who say they don't] didn't want to tell whoever is asking the question that they support Sharia. It's a deception, it's called taqiyya. Taqiyya is Islamic sanctified religious deception. What do you think Obama is? Obama is all about taqiyya. He lies to protect Islam. Eight years he has been lying to protect Islam. Eight years. This is called taqiyya."

Gordon Klingenschmitt: Letting A Muslim Soldier Wear A Headscarf Will Lead To Non-Muslims Being Raped

Earlier this month, we posted a video of Colorado GOP state legislator and Religious Right activist Gordon Klingenschmitt tying himself in knots attempting to defend the right of a school district to discriminate against atheists. This week, Klingenschmitt outdid himself when he spent six minutes on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program justifying a decision by the Citadel to deny "a request from an incoming Muslim student to wear a traditional religious headscarf as part of her uniform."

Klingenschmitt, who claims to be a champion of the freedom of religious expression in the military and has even created his own bogus persecution account, said that he could not support allowing a female Muslim soldier to wear a headscarf along with her uniform because it was a signal to Muslim combatants to rape the other female soldiers instead of her.

Klingenschmitt cited passages from Sura 33 in the Quran that he falsely claimed give Muslim men the right to rape any woman who is not wearing proper covering during times of war. As such, he said, if a female Muslim soldier was allowed to wear a headscarf, then she would be signaling to our enemies that she is a Muslim who should not be raped, but that it was okay for them to rape the non-Muslim female soldiers.

"If you're at war and you're looking out over the battlefield and you're wondering which women are safe to rape," he said, "you don't [rape] the women with headscarves because those are Muslims and you do rape the women without headscarves because those are not Muslims."

"The Citadel is thinking about letting a woman wear a headscarf with her military uniform as a symbol that the other women are open to be raped and she is not open to be raped by Muslims," Klingenschmitt stated. "It's a symbol to your Muslim enemies — we fight terrorists who are often Muslim — it's a symbol to them, 'please don't rape me, rape the other women in uniform because they're not wearing a headscarf.'"

Ted Cruz Adviser Falls For Internet Hoaxes About 'Sharia Courts' In Texas And Michigan

Ted Cruz’s national security adviser Jerry Boykin repeated roundly debunked internet-fueled rumors about “Sharia courts” in Texas and Michigan in a radio interview on Monday.

Boykin, in an appearance on “Sandy Rios in the Morning,” alleged that agents of the Muslim Brotherhood are gaining influence in the U.S. government to further the Islamist group’s goal of “changing our culture in general and forcing us to essentially modify our own behavior in what I think is a dangerous way.”

After alleging that Islamic law has gained a foothold in Europe, the Family Research Council official said that “it is reported that you have a Sharia court in Texas, for example, and Michigan, and you’re going to see more of that if people don’t wake up and take a stand against this and recognize the nature of the threat.”

Boykin’s reports, however, are nothing but online rumors.

The supposed imposition of Sharia law in Michigan is likely a reference to a widely shared article from the National Report, a fake online news magazine that is like an unfunny version of the Onion.

The claim that a Sharia court was established in Texas refers to a religious mediation panel similar to ones used by many Christians and Jews throughout the country.

The Houston Chronicle called the Sharia court story its “2015 Texas Hoax of the Year,” noting that the panel’s “rulings are nonbinding and work within the guidelines of U.S. law” and only rule on noncriminal matters like marital and business disputes. Indeed, the mediation panel was actually launched in 2012 and functioned without issue until conservative websites and chain emails falsely implied that it was imposing Sharia law.

Boykin’s claims about Islamic law taking hold in parts of Europe are similarly dubious and are likely based on mediation panels similar to ones that are led by Christians and Jews.

But such internet-fueled conspiracy theories may be part of the security advice Ted Cruz is now receiving.

Ted Cruz's Staff Reportedly Refuses To Meet With Delegation Of Texas Muslims

Ted Cruz’s national security adviser Frank Gaffney, a notorious anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist, has been urging members of Congress to refuse to meet with participants in today’s National Muslim Advocates Day, where Muslim-Americans around the country went to the U.S. Capitol to meet with their elected representatives and their staff.

Gaffney claimed that the lobby day, a tactic used by various groups of all political stripes, was actually an effort to impose “Sharia inside our country.”

And at least one official followed Gaffney’s advice and refused to meet the group: Sen. Ted Cruz.

According to a statement released today by the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, which organized the event, Cruz’s staff snubbed a group of Texas Muslim delegates.

While Cruz’s presidential campaign has made defending religious liberty from government attacks a central theme, that message does not appear to include Muslims.

This evening, representatives of the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), a coalition of leading national and local American Muslim groups, will hold a news conference on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., to condemn the refusal of GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and his congressional staff to meet with Muslim constituents during today's second National Muslim Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill.

Some 330 Muslim delegates from 28 states are meeting with a third of the House of Representatives and almost half of the Senate.

Earlier today, 14 Texas Muslim delegates to the National Muslim Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill tried to meet with either Sen. Cruz or a member of his congressional staff, but were told no one would meet with them. The delegates had tried to arrange a meeting for several weeks prior to today's event.

National Muslim Advocacy Day delegates are promoting a legislative agenda in support of equality and social justice, and will outline the domestic priorities of the American Muslim community, including:

• Support for House and Senate resolutions recognizing and condemning Islamophobia.

• Support legislation that enables individuals to build a credit history without taking on credit debt.

• Support legislation that promotes greater access to fresh fruit, vegetables and other healthful whole foods in impoverished areas.

• Address American Muslim community concerns regarding the oversight, management and approach of federal Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) programs.

Does Ted Cruz's Religious Liberty Message Include Muslims?

Last week, BuzzFeed released a story about how Muslims in Tennessee have faced a rash of threats, vandalism, hate crimes and, in at least one case, a firebombing. Buzzfeed notes that the state “became a key battleground in a national anti-Muslim movement whose influence has culminated, for now, in the presidential campaigns of Republican frontrunners Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, both of whom are being advised by people whose views on Islam were once considered too extreme for mainstream politics.”

One of the advisers BuzzFeed mentions is Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for Security Policy, whose group’s material was cited by Trump when he called for Muslims to be banned from the country and who has since emerged as an official adviser to Cruz on security issues. Cruz has defended Gaffney as “a serious thinker” and once claimed that “Sharia law is an enormous problem” in the United States.

Buzzfeed recounts Gaffney’s effort, along with another future Cruz campaign leader, Kevin Kookogey, to smear a state government official who was Muslim:

In 2012, Tennessee’s Republican governor, Bill Haslam, appointed a young lawyer named Samar Ali to the state’s economic development agency. The hiring caused a furious backlash, with several local and national figures claiming Ali had been brought on to make Tennessee “Sharia-compliant.” Many of the accusations came from the Center for Security Policy, a major anti-Muslim group run by former Reagan-era defense official Frank Gaffney. A resolution to condemn Ali’s hiring was pushed by Kevin Kookogey, who was then the chairman of the Williamson County Republican Party and is now the Tennessee chairman of Ted Cruz’s campaign. Gaffney is now one of Cruz’s foreign-policy advisers.

The furor gave Ali a sharp sense of whiplash. She was born and raised in Nashville, the daughter of Palestinian and Syrian immigrants, and she describes her childhood as “almost Pollyannish.” She considered herself a patriot. “I took an oath of office to uphold the U.S. constitution,” she says. Yet there she stood, publicly accused of belonging to a jihadist fifth column. “It was a very painful experience.”

Gaffney’s group said that Ali would bring “financial jihadists” into “the Volunteer state for infiltration and influence operations,” warning that “someone in a powerful position on the inside of the halls of power in the state can only be viewed as an opportunity for those who seek to embed Shariah law into America’s financial system.”

Gaffney also testified on behalf of a group that sought to block the construction of a mosque in the town of Murfreesboro.

According to the Associated Press, the lawyer representing the mosque opponents argued that the mosque was part of “a conspiracy to take over America” and “replace the Constitution with extremist Islamic law” and questioned “whether the world’s second-biggest faith qualifies as a religion” protected by the First Amendment. The Justice Department had to take the unusual step of filing a brief affirming that Islam is in fact a religion.

“Gaffney testified that Shariah, and by extension the new mosque, poses a threat to America,” the AP reported.

“I don’t hold myself out as an expert on Sharia Law,” Gaffney said. “But I have talked a lot about that as a threat.”

“Any elected official responsible for their community should be concerned about their presence,” he told the court. (Following the hearing, Gaffney alleged to reporters that President Obama’s security adviser John Brennan — now the director of the CIA — was committing felony sedition because of his views on Islam.)

When the mosque opponents failed to prohibit the establishment of the Murfreesboro mosque, they asked the county government to seize the building as a threat to public safety, citing Gaffney’s testimony that it could be used to spread terrorism.

While this lawsuit was once seen as bizarre and unusual, its message has been embraced by those close to Cruz. And not just Gaffney.

In fact, the arguments that the Murfreesboro mosque opponents made are very similar to those put forward by Cruz national security adviser Jerry Boykin, who has said that “Islam is not a religion and does not deserve First Amendment protections” and wants “no mosques in America,” and by Cruz adviser Andy McCarthy, who has similarly stated that the government should not treat Islam as a religious faith.

The chairman of Cruz’s “religious liberty advisory council,” Tony Perkins, has similarly stated that Islam is not a religion protected by the Constitution.

It is no wonder, then, that Cruz, who has made specious tales of anti-Christian discrimination and warnings about dire threats to religious liberty central pieces of his campaign, just recently called for the government to profile Muslims and “patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods.”

Pat Robertson: Islam Is A Dangerous Infection That Must Be Eliminated

Today on “The 700 Club,” Pat Robertson said that countries like Belgium and France must respond with “violence” to the “infection” of Muslim immigrants, telling his co-host Terry Meeuwsen that these countries must fight Islam in the same way that a body fights a deadly disease.

Otherwise, “Europe is doomed. Doomed!” he said, before adding: “And we have a president here in America who refuses to name it, refuses to identify it and refuses to give us what’s needed to kill the infection.”

Robertson: Our bodies are amazingly resilient and they can throw off a small infection, something comes up and the body has mechanisms to deal with it and the body closes in on the invader and kills it and the body stays strong. But there comes a time if the infection is allowed to spread, and it will spread rapidly when the invader overtakes the healthy body, at which point there is sickness and then ultimately death.

No society should allow some alien body to come to its midst that preaches terror, preaches overthrow, preaches violence and preaches another form of government. We shouldn’t have that.

Now, that’s what is being allowed in Belgium and France and other parts of Europe in the name of political correctness. And the so-called socialist liberals think, ‘I want to be open and I want to be welcoming to these people who come in.’ Okay, a few of them, fine, assimilate into the society, learn the language, learn the customs and be Belgians. But these people are not. They’re keeping on with their Islamic customs, Islamic dress, they’re speaking Arabic and they’re in the middle of Belgium and they’re growing and metastasizing and it won’t be long before they overwhelm the healthy body. Here in America and other places, we can only stand so much infection before it overwhelms us.

Meeuwsen: But once you’ve allowed that to occur and roots have gone down into a city or a region, is it too late to change that?

Robertson: Not really, but it’s going to take violence. They’ve got to move in with the police dragnets.

Meeuwsen: Do you think they have the stomach for that?

Robertson: Well, no. That’s the problem. You don’t want to, you know, it seems like you’re violating people’s civil rights, you don’t want to take away their liberty and violate the thing you are, but people have got to stand up and recognize the threat and if they don’t do it the society’s doomed. That’s what’s happening. All of our shows are showing, I mean our reporters are showing that Europe is doomed. Doomed! Because they refuse to acknowledge the existence of a pathogen in their midst, an infection, that has come in, and that’s what radical Islam is, it’s an infection. And we have a president here in America who refuses to name it, refuses to identify it and refuses to give us what’s needed to kill the infection. As a matter of fact, he wants to take more of them and bring them into the country.

Meeuwsen: Crazy.

Robertson: It’s crazy.

Meeuwsen: And in doing so we lose our own rights.

Frank Gaffney: Ted Cruz Will Save America From Sharia Law

Today on “Breitbart News Daily,” anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist and Ted Cruz adviser Frank Gaffney spoke with host Stephen Bannon about the Texas senator’s support for a police program in New York that monitored Muslims.

Bannon thanked Cruz for praising the NYPD’s Demographic Unit, which Bannon said “was so successful” in combating security threats. However, the Associated Press reported that the NYPD itself acknowledged that the since-abandoned spying program “never generated a lead or triggered a terrorism investigation.”

Gaffney said that the GOP presidential candidate wants to make sure that no neighborhood becomes “dominated by folks who are engaged in a practice that is anti-constitutional and hostile to the values of our country, specifically those who are seeking to impose a program they call Sharia.”

He went on to say that Sharia law is “manifesting itself” in “parts of the United States,” although he didn’t say which U.S. localities he believes have fallen to Islamic rule.

Cruz himself has warned that the imposition of “Sharia law is an enormous problem” in the U.S. and called on the federal government to “empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized.”

John Guandolo: Close The Majority Of Mosques In America

John Guandolo, the disgraced former FBI agent who is now a vocal anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist, gave an interview to WorldNetDaily yesterday about why the U.S. government should treat mosques as security threats.

Alluding to a bogus study that claimed that eight out of 10 mosques in America preach violence and extremism, Guandolo urged the government to start “arresting all of the Muslim Brotherhood leaders in the U.S., shutting down their organizations, and all Muslim Brotherhood mosques, which is over 80 percent of them.”

Anti-Muslim blogger Pamela Geller similarly told WorldNetDaily that mosques are a “clear and present danger.”

Pamela Geller, who was herself a target of an Islamic terror attack last year at a draw-Muhammad cartoon contest in Garland, Texas, said the Obama administration has all but stopped the monitoring of U.S. mosques.

“For years, I have been calling on law enforcement and the FBI to pay closer attention to the mosques,” she told WND. “They present a clear and present danger.”

John Guandolo, a former FBI counter-terrorism agent specializing in Quranic-inspired violence, said the U.S. is not doing anything to push back on the jihadi community “which is centered in the mosques which Islamic leaders in North America call the ‘axis of their movement.'”

If anything, the Obama administration is protecting the Islamic community whose stated objective is the destruction of all un-Islamic governments and replacing them with Islamic control under Shariah, he said.

After leaving the FBI Guandolo formed Understanding the Threat, an organization that teaches the tenets of Islam to law enforcement agencies.

“If we ‘monitor’ mosques now, who will do that? So few in law enforcement have been taught about Shariah, the Muslim Brotherhood jihadi network, etcetera,” he said. “UTT is the only organization in the nation doing it.”

Guandolo said he would start by reining in the record influx of immigrants, both legal and illegal, and then going after the Muslim Brotherhood operatives.

“If we begin with arresting all of the Muslim Brotherhood leaders in the U.S., shutting down their organizations, and all Muslim Brotherhood mosques, which is over 80 percent of them, that would be a good start,” he said.

He said this could be done under existing law.

“The underlying federal charge would fall under Title 18 – Conspiracy to Overthrow the Federal government,” he said.

Far-Right Pundit: Muslim-Americans Will Soon Have The Right To Murder, Rape And Kill As They Please

Erik Rush, the WorldNetDaily columnist who once advocated for killing all Muslims, is out with a new column today predicting that in the years to come, Muslims in America will win the right to kill, kidnap and rape other Americans.

To make his case, he cites an incident in 2014, which he falsely claims took place “last week,” in which a Muslim attorney asked his Facebook friends whether it was appropriate for a public school to advertise an Easter egg hunt to students because it was held at a church, noting that Islamic centers could then “promote Muslim holidays” to all public school students. Naturally, the conservative media used the incident to wrongly claim that a wave of Muslim parents were complaining about an Easter egg hunt. (Rush also claims that there is a conspiracy to suppress the story).

Rush concludes that this exaggerated incident will pave the way for future horrors: “Well, that’s how it starts. Give it a decade or two, and Muslims in America will have earned the right to Shariah courts, to rape non-Muslim women at will, to kidnap non-Muslim children for use as sex slaves and to behead American servicemen in broad daylight, just as they have in Britain, Europe and Scandinavia.”

I’ve always had a great respect for the Catholic Church, and I understand the reality of modern popes being political as much as spiritual leaders, but I am about a hair’s breadth away from declaring this pontiff an apostate Christian. In both his Christmas and Easter addresses, Pope Francis excoriated those who wish to prevent migrants from the Middle East and North Africa from entering Europe, even as they run roughshod over the nations of that continent. He has paid gratuitous, embarrassing deference to the world’s smirking, treacherous Muslim leaders, and although the pope has condemned the recent persecution (rape, maiming, murder, enslavement, etc.) of Christians in the Middle East by Muslims, he has spent just as much time misrepresenting Islam as benign as his contemporary political leaders have.

So is this pope stupid, naïve, or evil?

Last week, the Detroit Free Press reported that Muslim parents of elementary school students in Dearborn, Michigan, became upset after their children received flyers promoting an Easter egg hunt at a local church. While attending public elementary schools in New York during the 1960s, I cannot count the number of handouts I received for events celebrating religious holidays that my family did not celebrate. No one got intimidated, no one got offended, and no one went crying to the New York Times.

But you see, Muslims have made significant inroads into politics in Michigan, so they can afford to be uppity in that state. They’ve also become savvy to the practices employed by every other special-interest group in the American left’s big tent: Claim persecution, gain sympathy, secure genuinely unconstitutional protections under the law, and then you’re free to persecute your political opponents.

So, the poor, intimidated little Muslim parents went to the press, complaining that their childrens’ virgin eyes falling upon these horrid, blasphemous Easter flyers was somehow a form of religious persecution that naturally violates the Constitution.

Clever, aren’t they? Well, that’s how it starts. Give it a decade or two, and Muslims in America will have earned the right to Shariah courts, to rape non-Muslim women at will, to kidnap non-Muslim children for use as sex slaves and to behead American servicemen in broad daylight, just as they have in Britain, Europe and Scandinavia.

For the record: Although a link to the Detroit Free Press story now defaults to the publication’s home page for some unfathomable reason, other online news outlets did pick it up.

Bachmann: Maybe God Uses Terrorist Attacks To Humiliate Obama

Michele Bachmann, the former congresswoman turned End Times prophet, took to WorldNetDaily today to blast President Obama for his approach to fighting the terrorist group ISIS.

As Bachmann sees it, ISIS strikes whenever the president tries to downplay the group’s threat or change the subject to issues like U.S. relations with Cuba. This may be God’s way, she said, of humiliating Obama.

Or maybe our president’s humiliation comes in a manner so devastating it makes one wonder whether the Creator of humankind isn’t reminding this world of the inferiority of foolishness in the face of wisdom.

The president once again mocked his nemesis, the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, by cleverly turning the international press corps toward his brilliant work in Cuba, instead of covering ongoing Islamic attacks against the Jewish state as outlined that very same day at the annual pro-Israel AIPAC meeting in Washington, D.C.

History changed less than 24 hours later in the blink of an eye, and the rug was pulled out from under his well-laid plans.

The Tea Party icon also declared that ISIS is a perfect representative of Islam, warning that the religion intends to conquer Europe and is a demonic death cult bent on exterminating Christians and Jews:

History changed less than 24 hours later in the blink of an eye, and the rug was pulled out from under his well-laid plans.

Bits and pieces of flesh and blood, some Americans, all innocents, were scattered – scattered to further the act of conquest by Islam against the continent once enlightened by the beliefs and values of Western Christendom.

Three men committed to a false God and a doctrine of demons chose death to advance Western civilization’s defeat.

This week, some 2,000 years ago, a Jewish Savior named Jesus willingly gave His life as a substitutionary sacrifice to pay for the sins of all humankind, to reconnect us with the God who made us.

This compare-and-contrast of competing worldviews was soberingly and glaringly revealed.

One religious worldview brought peace and life, another glorified death and the cult of suicide.

For 14 centuries, world history records the facts, not beliefs, that Islam sought to annihilate first Jews, then Christians, then Muslims and non-believers who did not agree with Muhammad’s commands.

Read the Quran. Read the Hadith –the sayings of Muhammad – which provokes the reader to kill infidels in order to appease their god, Allah.

It was reported the Islamic murderers in Brussels shouted in Arabic as they blew themselves and others away.

Donald Trump Hopes He's Rewarded For Calling Brussels A 'Hellhole'

Donald Trump spoke today with right-wing conspiracy theorist Michael Savage about the Brussels terrorist attacks and, naturally, the GOP presidential frontrunner managed to smear Muslims and urged voters to reward him for his “vision.”

Savage said that the attacks proved that Trump was “100 percent right” when he proposed banning the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from the U.S., and asked him if he would consider closing “radical mosques.”

“We have to have tremendous surveillance and that includes the mosques,” Trump said. “We have to be intelligent people.”

Trump claimed that the attacks were sparked by the arrest of Salah Abdeslam, the ISIS-linked terrorist behind the Paris attacks, and that people in Abdeslam’s neighborhood “were protecting him” because “they want to practice Sharia law.” He added: “We have to do something and we have to do it rapidly because the whole world is collapsing.”

After Savage said that “all terrorism is coming from the [Islamic] holy book,” Trump defended his proposal for a “temporary ban” on Muslims from entering the country.

“These people aren’t coming from Sweden or Norway or Denmark or, frankly, from China, they’re not coming from — they’re coming from a certain part of the world and we have to be smart and we cannot be politically correct,” Trump said.  This reminded Trump to attack President Obama’s “humiliating” news conference in Cuba.

When Savage asked, “Would profiling be part of a Trump plan to combat terror?,” Trump said, “I would say yes.”

Trump hailed the city of New York’s Muslim spying program, calling it “the finest there is in the world and many people talked about it” and insisting that “it caught things before it was going to happen.” In reality, according to the AP, the unit he referred to “never generated a lead or triggered a terrorism investigation.”

He urged law enforcement officers to get tough on their targets, praising the use of waterboarding, and warning that Syrian refugees “could be fighters” and “the ultimate Trojan horse.” But the upside to these events, according to Trump, is that security concerns have increased his poll numbers. “I think it’s one of the reasons, and I wish it weren’t for this reason, that my poll numbers are so high,” he said.

Indeed, Trump touted his own wisdom, claiming that in Brussels he “saw a population that has hate, that has tremendous hate, I saw something that other people didn’t see and I hope that I’m going to be rewarded for having vision.”

“Now it’s a hellhole,” Trump said of Brussels. “I’m getting a lot of credit for having vision and for having foresight.”

Rick Wiles: Muslims Have Taken Over America!

“We have been taken over!” So said Rick Wiles last week on “The Jim Bakker Show,” warning the studio audience that “we have been taken over” by Muslims.

Wiles, who hosts the End Times radio program “Trunews,” bravely declared that he will stand up and fight the Muslim takeover to his death.

“I am not surrendering this nation to Muslims,” he said while pounding on his desk, as an audience member blew a shofar.

Wiles: We have been taken over. We have been taken over.
Bakker: Aren’t you afraid to say that?
Wiles: No! They are going to kill us, Jim! My God Jim, they are going to kill us some day! They kill us now or later, when do you want to die? When do you want to die, later or now?
Bakker: But the church is denying what you’re saying. I know it’s true. You know it’s true. But the church don’t want to hear that.
Wiles: I’ve got a granddaughter, two years old. I am not surrendering this nation to Muslims!

The GOP's Islamophobia Problem Is Much Bigger Than Donald Trump

Months before Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump called for a total ban on the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the U.S., the billionaire mogul claimed at an Iowa conference that President Obama had banned Christians from immigrating to the country.

“Muslims can come in but other people can’t; Christians can’t come into this country but Muslims can,” he said. “Now what’s that all about? What is that all about? I mean, something’s gotta be coming down from the top. When I heard that, I couldn’t believe it.”

Trump’s audience may have been receptive to his bogus claim, since he was speaking to one of the National Security Action Summits that anti-Muslim activist Frank Gaffney organized in early primary and caucus states. Many of Trump’s fellow GOP presidential candidates also addressed these gatherings, where they got to hear about things such as Obama’s thwarted plot to set off a nuclear bomb in Charleston, South Carolina.

Gaffney, who heads the right-wing Center for Security Policy, has emerged as one of the key conservative voices on issues such as immigration, Islam and U.S. foreign policy. Most recently, Gaffney was named a member of Ted Cruz’s foreign affairs advisory team.

But until recent years, Gaffney was seen as an outcast in the conservative movement as a result of his many bizarre views, from entertaining conspiracy theories about President Obama being a foreign-born Muslim to claiming that radical Islamists are running the White House, the Republican Party, NASA and the Internet. He’s even given a platform to and praised a prominent white nationalist.

Much of the blame for Gaffney’s rise can be pinned on the GOP itself. Trump has frequently suggested that Obama is a secret Muslim, and Cruz alleged at one of Gaffney’s security summits that the Obama administration has banned anti-Muslim speech.

Gaffney also organized the Washington, D.C., rally against the Iran nuclear deal headlined by Trump, Cruz, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.

Trump and Cruz aren’t the only candidates to have embraced the conspiracy theorist.

Ben Carson, who told one of Gaffney’s meetings that the Obama administration has a communist and anti-American outlook, adopted one of Gaffney’s core positions, that the Council on American-Islamic Relations is a terrorist group, as part of his anti-terrorism platform. Carson called for the government to “fully investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and a supporter of terrorism” and told CNN that the group is pushing “civilization jihad,” language that came straight from Gaffney.

The right-wing figure’s allegation that Obama is deliberately ignoring if not supporting terrorist groups has been picked up by CruzCarson and Bobby Jindal. He has also targeted Muslim houses of worship, accusing mosques of bringing Muslim Brotherhood agents into the U.S. under the guise of being doctors, scientists and engineers. These sorts of claims have, in turn, helped to prop up extreme policy positions such as Mike Huckabee’s call for government monitoring of mosques and Trump’s suggestion that he would close some mosques.

While Trump’s rhetoric has shocked many, extreme anti-Muslim views have permeated the GOP, and Frank Gaffney is one of the people to thank for that.

Frank Gaffney: From Pariah To Ted Cruz Adviser

Gaffney was banned from CPAC, the annual conservative event, after he promoted the bogus charge that two of the event’s organizers were secret agents of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Then he got banned from the “Weyrich Lunch” of right-wing figures.

A witch hunt against Muslim-Americans serving in the Obama administration, crafted by Gaffney and spearheaded by then-Rep. Michele Bachmann, drew severe rebukes from Republican leaders such as John Boehner, Lindsey Graham and John McCain, who delivered a rousing floor speech on how his attacks had “no logic, no basis and no merit.”

But recently, things have changed. This year Gaffney returned to CPAC, and today it was announced that he has joined Ted Cruz’s foreign policy advisory team. It’s quite a turn of events, as one would think that Gaffney had lost all credibility when he said the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell would lead to the reinstatement of the draft, wondered why liberal groups and Jewish leaders are “making common cause” with Islamists and said that Boehner and McCain, in opposing his anti-Muslim crusade, were “parroting the Muslim Brotherhood line.”

He has also endorsed the birther conspiracy theory, said President Obama is aiding terrorism and said that Muslims who believe in Sharia should be prosecuted for sedition.

Most recently, Gaffney interviewed and praised the work of an infamous white nationalist writer, although he tried to distance himself from the racist activist after being called out for it.

Despite this outrageous record, most of the major GOP candidates this cycle have appeared at Gaffney’s “national security action” summits, including Cruz and Donald Trump. It was at a Gaffney event that Trump accused Obama of barring non-Muslims from the country; later, Trump cited a bogus statistic from Gaffney’s group to justify his proposed ban on the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the country.

Seeing that the two top Republican candidates have used conspiracy theories and anti-Muslim rhetoric to score political points, it can’t be too surprising that Gaffney is no longer a right-wing pariah.

Ted Cruz Adds Birther, Anti-Muslim Conspiracy Theorist To His Campaign

Ted Cruz has continued to reach out to extremists that even other Republicans wouldn’t dare touch, today appointing Frank Gaffney, an activist so bizarre that even the American Conservative Union issued a blistering report criticizing him for making outlandish claims, to his campaign’s foreign policy advisory board.

Gaffney, who heads the Center for Security Policy, has alleged that “there is mounting evidence that the president not only identifies with Muslims, but actually may still be one himself,” calling President Obama “America’s first Muslim president.”

Indeed, Gaffney believes that Obama may not just be a secret Muslim but also an Islamist bent on aiding “Islamic supremacists” and instituting “the Sharia blasphemy agenda of our enemies” in the U.S., comparing the president to Osama bin Laden.

Among Obama’s secret Islamist crimes? Gaffney once claimed that what was clearly a rocket on a redesigned Missile Defense Agency logo was actually an Islamic crescent that was created on orders from Obama. He claims that the president wants to overturn the Citizens United decision in order to ban anti-Muslim speech and believes that Obama is trying to give control over the Internet to an Islamic group.

He told one radio host that “the Obama administration is … well, they’re playing for the other team” and “providing aid and comfort to enemies of the United States. And that is the definition, as you know, of treason.”

It shouldn’t be surprising that Gaffney had his fingers all over the smear campaign targeting Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin for supposedly being a Muslim Brotherhood agent. He even accused New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie of committing “misprision of treason” for appointing a Muslim to a state judgeship.

If this smells like a McCarthyist push against Muslims serving in government, you’re right, as Gaffney has called for Congress to establish a House Anti-American Activities Committee to investigate those in government who are secretly aiding Islamists.

It is a bit ironic, though, that Gaffney would join the Canadian-born Cruz’s presidential campaign, since Gaffney has pushed the birther conspiracy theory that Obama was born abroad and is therefore ineligible to serve as president.

One of Gaffney’s colleagues, Clare Lopez, who also joined Cruz’s campaign team, is such a conspiracy theorist that she can’t decide whether Obama is a secret Sunni Muslim radical or a secret Shiite Iran-lover. Also joining the Cruz campaign is Andy McCarthy, who defended Donald Trump’s ban on the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the U.S. by stating that Islam is not a religion.

Of course, Cruz has echoed many of Gaffney’s own claims, baselessly asserting that the Obama administration imposed a “ban on anti-Muslim rhetoric” and secretly aids terrorism. Cruz also spearheaded a McCarthy-esque campaign against then-secretary of defense nominee Chuck Hagel, joining Gaffney in wondering if Hagel was an agent for America’s enemies.

And that’s what is truly scary.

Donald Trump: Virtually 100 Percent Of Mosques Preach Hate Against America

Following last night’s debate, Chris Cuomo of CNN asked Donald Trump about his nonsensical claim that “Islam hates us.”

When pressed by Cuomo if he believes that all Muslims are “part of the hatred,” a characteristically vague Trump said that “if you look at the mosques and you go to various places and you look at what’s going on there and it’s virtually 100 percent. Certainly you can say radical Islam is a disaster right now, it’s causing tremendous problems worldwide, not just here. But the question was asked about Islam and there’s a great hatred, there’s no question about it.”

Trump, who wants to ban the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering America, added that Americans must “run our own place” rather than worry that such comments would alienate Muslims across the globe, noting that many people in the audience seemed to like his idea.

“There is animosity like I’ve never seen before and hopefully we can straighten it out,” Trump said.

Louie Gohmert: Obama's 'Hate Crimes' Against Christians Invite God's Judgment

Yesterday on “Washington Watch,” Rep. Louie Gohmert railed against “the hate crimes by this administration” against conservative Christians, such as the nuns of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

The Texas Republican and radio host Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, falsely claimed that the Obama administration refuses to offer religious groups an exemption from the Affordable Care Act’s contraception coverage requirement.

In fact, the Little Sisters of the Poor is covered under its accommodation but refuses to fill out the form seeking an exemption.

Gohmert said that instead of focusing on America’s enemies, “they just choose to spend a great deal of their time going after Christians.”

“We’ve never had a religion permit the kinds of hate crimes that this administration is in going after them and bullying them,” he added, claiming that the administration’s “bullying” is “the worst in our history.”

After alleging that the ACA has “been used as a government tool to go after Christians and those whose religious beliefs are different from the president’s,” Gohmert went on to make the baseless claim that the White House tried to cut off aid to Ethiopia, Kenya and Nigeria until they legalized same-sex marriage. “This administration hasn’t confined their bullying just to this country,” he said.

Gohmert should not be considered an expert on hate crimes, as he once said the hate crimes law passed in 2009 would legalize pedophilia, necrophilia and bestiality while ushering in Nazism.

The two also blasted an Obama administration effort to fight hate crimes directed at Muslim-Americans. Gohmert dismissed concerns about such hate crimes while saying that the White House is ignoring crimes against Christians and Jews throughout the world because “we have a United States leadership that will not protect Christians [and] puts a real prize on protecting Muslims.”

He said that Muslim people should be more grateful to U.S. service members fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, claiming that the U.S. has only gotten terrorist attacks in return.

“It is absolute insanity that this administration continues to do great harm and persecute Christians for their religious beliefs,” Gohmert continued.

The congressman then quoted from the book of Hosea to suggest that America is facing God’s wrath because “nations are made to account when they put leaders in place that persecute those who are trying to follow the words of God.”

Perkins, for his part, said that Obama is only promoting religious liberty for Muslims. (In the past, Perkins has repeatedly said that Muslims are not protected under the First Amendment).

Donald Trump Repeats Lie Of Americans Using Bullets With Pigs' Blood To Massacre Muslims

Once again, Donald Trump praised the actions of a U.S. general whom he said massacred Muslim “terrorists” in the Philippines while using bullets covered in pigs’ blood.

While the account has been roundly debunked, Trump repeated the story at a rally today in Virginia, holding it up as a great way to fight terrorism while dismissing media criticism for using the story.

“We are going to have to get tough,” he said.

Jan Morgan Expects Rubio To Soon Announce Endorsements From Hamas And ISIS

During a Republican presidential forum yesterday, Marco Rubio condemned an Oklahoma gun range for refusing to allow an Army reservist to use the range because he is a Muslim, saying that such discrimination is "wrong" and "immoral."

Today, Bryan Fischer brought Second Amendment zealot Jan Morgan onto his radio show to get her reaction to Rubio's comments and she was predictably unimpressed.

Morgan, who has also infamously banned Muslims from her gun range, told Fischer that "Marco Rubio sounds like a mouthpiece for the Muslim Brotherhood front organization CAIR."

"Marco Rubio has made a grave mistake," she declared, "which is why Donald Trump is slaughtering him in his own home state of Florida ... If Marco Rubio thinks that training and putting guns in the hands of people who align themselves with a theocracy that commands them to kill innocent people, if that's his definition of immoral, then he needs to be running on another ticket and I expect, any day now, to hear him announcing endorsements from the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, Hamas and ISIS."

Fischer said Republicans at the event “collectively committed the sin of idolatry” by observing the prayer and committed a “dangerous” act by inviting “a demon-God into its party.” “Multiculturalism, ladies and gentlemen, is... Every Muslim, al Rassooli proclaimed, supports violent jihad and those who claim that they do not... MORE

Earlier this month, we posted a video of Colorado GOP state legislator and Religious Right activist Gordon Klingenschmitt tying himself in knots attempting to defend the right of a school district to discriminate against atheists. This week, Klingenschmitt outdid himself when he spent six minutes on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program justifying a decision by the Citadel to deny "a request from an incoming Muslim student to wear a traditional religious headscarf as part of her uniform." Klingenschmitt, who claims to be a champion of the freedom of religious expression in the... MORE

Ted Cruz’s national security adviser Jerry Boykin repeated roundly debunked internet-fueled rumors about “Sharia courts” in Texas and Michigan in a radio interview on Monday. Boykin, in an appearance on “Sandy Rios in the Morning,” alleged that agents of the Muslim Brotherhood are gaining influence in the U.S. government to further the Islamist group’s goal of “changing our culture in general and forcing us to essentially modify our own behavior in what I think is a dangerous way.” After alleging that Islamic law has gained a foothold in Europe... Gaffney claimed that the lobby day, a tactic used by various groups of all political stripes, was actually an effort to impose “Sharia inside our country.” And at least one official followed Gaffney’s advice and refused to meet... Last week, BuzzFeed released a story about how Muslims in Tennessee have faced a rash of threats, vandalism, hate crimes and, in at least one case, a firebombing. Buzzfeed notes that the state “became a key battleground in a national anti-Muslim movement whose influence has culminated, for now, in the presidential campaigns of Republican frontrunners Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, both of whom are being advised by people whose views on Islam were once considered too extreme for mainstream politics.” One of the advisers BuzzFeed mentions is Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for... Doomed!” he said, before adding: “And we have a president here in America who refuses to name it, refuses to identify it and refuses to give us what’s needed to kill the infection.” Robertson: Our bodies are amazingly...
