Michele Bachmann: The Prayers of Christians Are Reforming Saudi Arabia

A group of Trump-loving American evangelical leaders traveled to Saudi Arabia earlier this month for a meeting with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and others, despite the fact that Bin Salman is widely believed to have played a central role in the plot to murder U.S.-based Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi last month.

Former Rep. Michele Bachmann was among those who met with bin Salman during this trip and she had nothing but praise for him, gushing about her trip while providing election night coverage on Kenneth Copland’s Believers Voice of Victory network on Tuesday night.

“It’s remarkable what’s happening in that nation,” she said. “Islam is undergoing reform in various nations … and so you are seeing Saudi Arabia going from the seventh century to the 21st century and they’re bringing reform with it. They talk a lot about tolerance for other beliefs. This is amazing! Four years ago, you never would have heard this, ever.”

Bachmann credited these changes to “the fervent, effectual prayers of righteous men” who have “been praying into the Muslim countries for God to reveal himself.”

“He is—and we are seeing a change like we never saw before,” she marveled. “God is stringing some of these countries together in a new alignment … That’s why we don’t give up in prayer. This is the effect. No prayer is ever wasted. That is why all the prayers for this election, they are not wasted! God is using them and he’s bringing a harvest from these prayers.”

“I am totally excited about what he is doing globally and in our own country,” she declared.
