'God Is Not Done With America': Ted Cruz Rallies Religious Right Voters To Save The Nation

For the last two days, Sen. Ted Cruz has been the guest on "Life Today," telling host James Robison that it is vitally important for Christians to vote so that America can continue to enjoy God's blessings.

On yesterday's program, the Texas Republican declared that Christians are required by Scripture to vote and cast their votes based on biblical values. After praising his father's efforts to mobilize right-wing pastors and get them involved in politics, Cruz said that Christians could fundamentally reshape this nation is they simply voted according to the Bible.

"Can you imagine how different our country would be if an additional 70 million Evangelical Christians simply showed up and voted biblical values?" Cruz asked. "We would be on a fundamentally different path": 

On today's program, Cruz wholeheartedly agreed with Robison's assertion that the Founding Fathers "were under some kind of powerful umbrella of divine providence influence" when they created this nation.

"From the founding of our country, America has enjoyed God's providential blessing at every stage," Cruz said. "When the Declaration and Constitution were drafted, they were drafted on the knees of the Founding Fathers through prayer."

"I'm convinced," he continued, that "God is not done with America. That his blessings are still on this nation, and that the American people when the challenges are great, rise to the occasion":

Rodriguez: Christians Must Vote Because 'Today's Complacency Is Tomorrow's Captivity'

Samuel Rodriguez, president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, was a guest on James Robison's "Life Today" program this morning, where he called upon Christians to vote according to "what the Word of God says" because there is a movement at work that seeks "to silence Christians in America."

Rodriguez warned that Christians cannot afford to sit out this election because "today's complacency is tomorrow's captivity" and just as Christians in other countries are being killed by terrorists, so too are Christians in America being silenced by those who promote "moral relativism and cultural decadence."

"There is an attempt, believe it or not, to silence Christians in America," he said. "There is a war against our Judeo-Christian value system. And we speak against terrorist groups that are doing so many horrific things to our brothers and sisters in Christ and other religious minorities around the world but in our own nation, from a political standpoint, from a legislative standpoint or a public policy standpoint there is an attempt to silence Christendom. There is an attempt!"

Robison: Candidates Who Support Abortion Rights Or Gay Marriage Are Incapable Of Hearing God And Leading America​

On his TV show "Life Today" this morning, James Robison interviewed Ben Carson about his current book and what Robison sees as America's rapid decline.

During the course of the conversation, after Carson cited a fake quote from Thomas Jefferson declaring that "when governments fear the people, there is liberty; when the people fear the government, there is tyranny," Robison warned that the religious leaders must begin preaching on political issues from their pulpits because "there are principalities and powers in the realm of darkness, deception and destruction" that are seeking to destroy this nation.

As such, Christians must know who to vote for, Robison said, because candidate who believe in abortion rights or marriage equality are "incapable of hearing the wisdom that comes from above and being directed by divine providence," which makes them likewise incapable "of leading a nation out of the depravity and the death and the defeat that we're experiencing":

Mike Huckabee To Join Liberty Counsel For Right-Wing Pastor Rallies

Liberty Counsel is organizing a “powerful, five-screen multimedia extravaganza” for conservative pastors who want to stop America from “spiraling out of control as our foundation of traditional values is threatened and eroded every day” and “to dramatically affect the 2014 elections this coming November.”

The “Who Will Stand?” rallies will feature former Gov. Mike Huckabee, pseudo-historian David Barton and Liberty Counsel chairman Mat Staver, along with uplifting songs and “thousands of images portraying the beauty and grandeur of all 50 states of our great nation” that apparently will help bring an end to President Obama’s tyranny.

Televangelist James Robison, Star Parker, Ralph Reed and Samuel Rodriguez are also listed as speakers.

While so far the events are only scheduled to take place in Florida churches, Liberty Counsel aims to expand the effort to “Texas, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Arkansas, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Virginia.”

God Has Instructed Rafael Cruz To Mobilize Pastors To Vote

Rafael Cruz was the guest on James Robison's "Life Today" broadcast recently where he revealed that God told him that it was his mission to mobilize pastors to get involved in politics in order to save America and, to do so, God has been setting up opportunities for him to speak to groups of pastors all over the country ahead of the midterm elections.

"Without my moving a finger," Cruz revealed, "miraculously, God began to set up pastor conferences all over this country. Last year I did 11 pastor conferences; this year I'll probably do at least 30."

"The word of God tells us: When the righteous are in authority the people rejoice; when the wicked rule people mourn," he continued. "And there has been a lot of mourning in America in the last five years."

But Cruz is optimistic that he and the Religious Right will be able to "mobilize millions of Christians" just as they did in 1980 and "restore righteousness and the Word of God to this country":

James Robison Says Gay Marriage Laws Are 'Wars Against The Creation Itself'

On Friday, televangelist James Robison slammed efforts to “redefine marriage” as “wars against the creation itself” that “we should oppose with all our might.”

Robison wrote on his website that the campaign for marriage equality is a “totalitarian” push to quash religious expression and increase the size of government.

Conjugal marriage and the family are the two most basic human institutions. They exist in every time and place, and they pre-exist the state. The state does not determine what marriage and family are, but they must recognize them. That’s why political attempts to redefine marriage and family are not tolerant but totalitarian. They are wars against the creation itself, and we should oppose them with all our might.

At the same time we must support policies that encourage healthy families. This requires discernment, since every half-baked bill proposed in Congress claims to be pro-family. But many policies create incentives that harm the family. Divorce rates, out-of-wedlock births, and fatherless homes have risen in every class in the United States in the last fifty years, but the decay has been catastrophic in poor communities where the welfare state has mostly replaced the traditional roles of the father and the church. This tragic unintended consequence suggests a rule of thumb: If a policy surrenders territory to the state that ought to be part of civil society, that policy will harm rather than help families in the long run.



Secularism and progressivism, however, deny that we can know God and morality. They seek to quarantine both to a ghetto of private religious faith. This has created a secular and relativistic public square, which is exactly the opposite of what the Founders intended. We must reverse this trend and defend the truth that man has real moral knowledge, which is the foundation of just government.



Faith encourages the virtues that help sustain the free society. It gives us hope in the future, which is under the providence of God, while preventing us from falling for utopian fantasies like the communist illusions that killed scores of millions of people in the twentieth century.

We must correct the false stereotype that faith feeds theocracy and defend the freedom of believers to apply their faith to the concerns of the day.

James Robison Prays For 'Miracle' Uniting Tea Party And Religious Right Activists

Televangelist James Robison told listeners on last week’s Tea Party Unity conference call that the country is about to witness a merger of the Religious Right and the Tea Party that will bring God’s blessing back to America.

Robison said that the Tea Party doesn’t have “the numerical support” to win elections without the social conservatives, and “God is going to do something very great” to build a new “communications stream” that will unite the conservative movement and attract a bigger audience than the Drudge Report.

After praising his fellow speaker Rafael Cruz and Tea Party Unity — which was created by right-wing pastor Rick Scarborough for the very reason of bringing Tea Party and Religious Right activists together — as “answers to prayer,” Robison said he will be working to “get the message and the truth that flows from the heart and mind of God and the wisdom of God” to activists, while making sure that it won’t be “filtered down, misrepresented and ignored by a very biased, upside-down-worldview prevailing media.”

“We are creating a communications stream, a faith and freedom communications stream that the enemy will not be able to hinder,” Robison said. “Freedom is in the process of perishing, so this communication stream will bring together the leaders of the free market and the faith community and we will create a stream hopefully that will get more traffic than Drudge does.”

Robison later revealed that he’s working to “influence the influencers” by meeting with religious figures and “free market leaders like Foster Friess and many others of that caliber,” referring to the GOP mega-donor.

“They cannot win – the whole Tea Party has got to understand this – they cannot win, they cannot change legislation, they cannot correct our nation’s perilous course without the numerical support of the faith community,” he said.

He then warned that America is currently experiencing God’s judgment: “If you go to Joel 2 you’ll find the key for today. In the first part of that chapter you see the locusts coming in as a representative of all the forces of judgment for a nation that has gone away from the wisdom and counsel of God. And those locusts don’t break step, they don’t get out of line, all of these strange bedfellows come together and they move in total unison to consume the prosperity and the productivity of the land because people have left God out.”

“I believe we’re going to see the miracle,” he said,” and I have seen enough in the leadership areas in both the faith community and the free market community to believe we can witness this miracle.”

Robison: 'All Manner Of Evil Is Going To Be Spewed Out On Our Nation' Due To Gay Rights

Televangelist Jim Robison yesterday wrote a post on “The Gay Challenge” in response to Michael Sam’s announcement that he is gay. Robison warned that soon “Congress and the courts will impose same sex [sic] marriage on the American people even though their numbers are small when compared with the total population,” warning that such marriages are “an assault not only on truth, natural acts, and marriage, but an attack on the very possibility that God gave His creation a reliable standard to follow.”

He included a message about Sam’s decision to come out of the closet from a pastor who “has ministered to those trapped by homosexuality,” which warned that greater acceptance of gays and lesbians “inevitably produces quarrels and wars.”

Robison concurred and told readers that “all manner of evil is going to be spewed out on our nation” while people “who really know and love God will become the most persecuted people on the planet.”

Redefining marriage is a far bigger issue than some may realize. It is in fact an assault not only on truth, natural acts, and marriage, but an attack on the very possibility that God gave His creation a reliable standard to follow. Before there were cities or governments, there was marriage. Marriage was there at the creation. In Genesis we read, “A man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to his wife and they become one flesh.” As long as there have been human beings, there has been marriage. It is the foundation for every other human institution.

It is highly likely both the Congress and the courts will impose same sex [sic] marriage on the American people even though their numbers are small when compared with the total population. The general public and the church will most likely be forced to accept the practice as if the people desiring the gay identity were born with unique attraction and they must not be held responsible for their choices or desires any more than a person would be for ethnicity or skin color.

It is true that we have overlooked serious behavioral issues in the NFL because we idolize the athlete. But even then, we did not celebrate their behavior. We tolerated it with hope for liberating change. My heart aches for Sam. In an effort to support his freedom of choice, we are confirming his false identity.



When we normalize all behavior under the agenda of freedom of choice, we are preparing for war (James 4:1-6). Unbridled desire inevitably produces quarrels and wars. Mankind will oppress others to gain an advantage. We will use others and prostitute every good thing we have been given. We will work for money, worship ourselves, boast in our achievements, and manipulate all governmental structures for our own advantage. The oppressed will rise up, and there will be war. It is the judgment on a society that begins to define itself by its desires.


To be honest with you as a reader, if we do not have a supernatural spiritual awakening within the church where Christians begin to witness in the power of unconditional love, all manner of evil is going to be spewed out on our nation. Those who really know and love God will become the most persecuted people on the planet. The stage is set for this.

Robison: Gay Marriage & Abortion Rights Part Of A 'Furious Flood Of Evil Threatening To Destroy Our Nation'

Back in 1980, televangelist James Robison said he was “sick and tired of hearing about all of the radicals, and the perverts, and the liberals, and the leftists, and the communists coming out of the closet; it’s time for God’s people to come out of the closet, out of the churches and change America.”

In a commentary posted on his blog last week, Robison repeated the refrain: “While so many others are coming out of the closet in defense of their non-biblical practices, it is time for pastors, priests and all true believers to come out of the closet and stand for truth against the flood of evil.”

He said that marriage equality and abortion rights are part of the “the furious flood of evil threatening to destroy our nation,” calling for pasors especially to speak out against President Obama.

The question today is not “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” The correct question is, “Where are the Elijahs of the Lord God?” We must have pastors and priests who will stand as true shepherds with a message that is prophetic and not pathetic in its effect. Freedom is at stake – freedom to worship, to preach biblical truth and witness boldly for Christ. While so many others are coming out of the closet in defense of their non-biblical practices, it is time for pastors, priests and all true believers to come out of the closet and stand for truth against the flood of evil.

In the guise of helping those in need, elected representatives are forcing dependency on the individual and dismissing the personal responsibility to truly love our neighbors. This will only be corrected by a proper response to truth, not by imposing more regulations. The freedom we have been blessed to enjoy and share has never been as fully experienced by any other nation. We are about to lose our independence to dependence on an all-powerful, all-consuming nanny state. Where are the prophets and pastors who will point us to the Good Shepherd, who will lead our nation back to still waters and green pasture?



In our nation over 50 million babies have been aborted in the wombs of their mothers. Even now, national laws are being passed not only to condone same-sex marriage, but to penalize you if you don’t make abortion and early-abortion pills available. It will be funded by the American people through the new healthcare laws forced on Americans in the guise of assistance.

I admire every pastor and priest who is standing up and speaking out. Our close friend Dr. Tony Evans, pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, has joined other courageous pastors and leaders—along with many in the black community—to protest same-sex marriage, which our nation’s leader said he endorses because of the Golden Rule passage found in Matthew 19: “Treat others the way you’d want to be treated.”

Evans responded on National Public Radio after the president made his public statement, “The Bible is clear…Sexual relationships are to be between men and women within the context of marriage. That’s not only related to the issue of homosexuality, but adultery, or fornication or bestiality. All of that is proscribed in the Bible.”

Tony Evans boldly holds up the kingdom of God as the present-day agenda for the church. We are not to compromise that commission for any political party, candidate, or person. This compassionate pastor is a bridge-builder, and at the same time, he’s raising up the dikes necessary to stop the furious flood of evil threatening to destroy our nation.

One church leader commented, “It’s as if political parties and most representatives are either evil or stupid.” The fact is, it’s not merely liberal or conservative; Democrat or Republican; left or right. It has now often boiled down to right or wrong. May God forgive us and raise up prophets, preachers and shepherds today who will take a stand. I am praying for the day when people of faith, along with concerned Americans, will again declare our independence and stand together, united by the principles we all know in our hearts are right and true: “That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”

Oops: Five Conservative IRS Conspiracy Theories Fall Apart

Just as the GOP’s hyperventilation and grandstanding over Benghazi turned up empty, so are their claims that the IRS has been targeting right-wing groups. New reports show that the IRS did apply extra scrutiny to groups with phrases like “Tea Party” in their names…but the agency also applied the same scrutiny to groups with “progressive” or “occupy” in their titles. This backs up an earlier story from The Atlantic which also found that liberal groups had been targeted.

Prior to these revelations, we learned that the White House had no role in the supposed targeting and that the IRS manager accused of political bias is a conservative Republican.

But for some reason we don’t think this will stop right-wing activists from alleging that President Obama directed the IRS to go after political opponents as part of his plans to create an all-powerful, totalitarian government.

The IRS story has made its way into five right-wing conspiracy theories that we don’t expect to go away any time soon, despite being totally ungrounded in reality.

1) IRS May Deny Medical Care To Conservatives

Rep. Michele Bachmann led the way in giving credence to a claim that the IRS, through Obamacare, might attempt to “deny or delay” access to medical care for conservatives. After embracing the WorldNetDaily-inspired conspiracy theory, she told Fox News that the IRS may deny or delay health care “based upon our political beliefs.” Even Rand Paul latched onto the debunked conspiracy theory.

Right on cue, James Dobson’s son Ryan alleged that his father may be denied medical treatments under Obamacare, and Janet Porter said that the IRS may use the reform law to “target individuals on whether or not they have the ability to exist as a live human being” by denying people “lifesaving treatment” based on their “political views.”

2) Obama’s The New Hitler

Glenn Beck reacted to the IRS story by warning that the government could “shut down” and “scoop up” Tea Party members much like how Adolf Hitler persecuted Jews. “This is the way totalitarian states are created,” Beck argued. “We will be remembered as the most evil nation in the history of the world, we will dwarf what Germany did.”

World Congress of Families spokesman Don Feder agreed, maintaining that “Concentration Camp Obama” may “shove you in a cattle car” and take you “‘camping’ in a very real sense” if you are part of the conservative movement, all by “using the IRS as a presidential goon squad.” Todd Starnes of Fox News even pointed to the IRS controversy to claim that conservatives “could be facing a 1930s Germany here,” while End Times radio host Rick Wiles used the IRS as proof that Obama is leading a “modern day Nazi regime” and the “Fourth Reich.”

3) Obama Committed Impeachable Offenses

Naturally, right-wing activists brought impeachment into the debate over the IRS. Jay Sekulow of the American Center for Law and Justice said Obama may face the same impeachment charges as Richard Nixon as a result of the “misuse and abuse of the IRS.” Eagle Forum founder Phyllis Schlafly said that the “IRS scandal is much worse than Watergate” and agreed that “there are many reasons why Obama should be impeached.”

Texas Gov. Rick Perry similarly drew a comparison to Nixon and said that the “scandal” may “reach the level of criminal activity” and reveal “a pattern of abuse of power.” Washington Times columnist Jeffrey Kuhner went even further and asserted that Obama is “ worse than Nixon” and added it to his long list of supposedly impeachable offenses, while Alan Keyes demanded that the GOP’s “cry should be ‘IMPEACHMENT NOW!’” Not to be outdone, Glenn Beck argued that “if there aren’t impeachment hearings” then America is “already operating under tyranny.”

4) Obama Would Have Lost If It Wasn’t For The IRS

Even though conservative outside groups greatly outspent their left-leaning counterparts in the last election, the IRS controversy has led some to allege that conservatives groups were not allowed to get off the ground and that must have been why Obama won his race for re-election.

Janet Porter reasoned that “the elections were affected” because “every Tea Party group and every conservative group…weren’t allowed to exist” or “inform their members of what’s going on and what’s at stake.” John Fund of the Wall Street Journal, a champion of suppressive voter ID laws and voter purges, told Fox News that “the real voter suppression in the 2012 election was done at the IRS” and “suppressed the vote” to the point that it “may have played a role in the outcome of that very close election.”

The American Enterprise Institute’s James Pethokoukis even made the dubious claim that 5-8.5 million voters didn’t vote last year due to IRS actions. Dean Chambers, whose “unskewed” polls predicted Obama’s defeat, claimed he was right all along, alleging that the “systematic and wide-scale suppression of Tea Party and conservative activity and votes, via the IRS targeting of those groups” had “clearly denied Mitt Romney the election that [he] clearly would have won by about the very margin I predicted on November 5 of last year.”

5) Demonic Forces Behind IRS Scandal

Larry Klayman said that “felonious liberal Jews” have used the IRS to attack conservatives to undermine “our proud Judeo-Christian roots and heritage,” but televangelist James Robison took it one step further, arguing that “Satan himself” had a role: “He and his demonic forces are fiercely focusing their fury against God’s kingdom purpose and anyone committed to it. What you are witnessing daily in news reports concerning Washington’s bad practices and policies related to the gross abuse of power by the IRS, along with unconstitutional checks on the free press, reveals satanic intent to take away freedom.” Rick Wiles also saw a demonic role in the IRS pseudo-scandal, stating that the IRS is creating the “Fourth Beat as foretold by Daniel in the Holy Bible.”
