Gordon Klingenschmitt

On the most recent episode of his "Pray In Jesus' Name" show, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt expanded on his warning that passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act would be "the end of the world for Christian employers" by declaring that ENDA would require them to hire people who practice bestiality.

Claiming that since the legislation does not explicitly define what it covered by its language banning employment discrimination based on "perceived sexual orientation," then bestiality must be covered, Klingenschmitt warned that "the government is promoting a law that contradicts God's highest law" and that there is a "demonic spirit inside of [Sen.] Jeff Merkley" who is co-sponsoring the legislation:

As we have said over and over again, the Religious Right will never stop spreading useful tales of Christian victimization just because they happen to be demonstrably false.

The most recent evidence of this fact is the story of Derrick Hayes, a high school runner in Texas who was allegedly disqualified from an event for thanking God after winning a race.  The story of Hayes' supposed persecution has been spread repeatedly by Religious Right activists and legislators over the last week despite the fact that Hayes and his family admit that he was not disqualified because of his faith:

Based on the UIL’s investigation, the student athlete raised his hand and gestured forward at the conclusion of the 4x100-meter relay. The meet official approached the student-athlete in an effort to warn him of a possible disqualification should that behavior continue. In the opinion of the official, the student reacted disrespectfully. Based on his reaction, the student-athlete was subsequently disqualified. Any decision to disqualify a student-athlete at any track meet must be upheld by the head meet referee. The meet official and the meet referee conferred, and the disqualification was upheld on-site. At no point during the discussions surrounding the disqualification at the meet was the issue of religious expression raised by any parties.

To assist the UIL in its investigation, the student-athlete’s parents submitted a letter stating that their son’s religious freedoms were not violated. “In looking back at the conclusion of the 4x100 race, we realize that Derrick could have handled the win in a different manner,” KC and Stacey Hayes said in the letter. “It was not our intention to force the issue that our son’s religious freedom was violated. Nor do we feel that way now. After discussing this with our son, we have come to the conclusion that his religious rights were not violated.”

The student-athlete who was disqualified also submitted a letter during the investigation stating: “Although I am very thankful for all God has given me and blessed me with, on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Regional Track Meet in Kingsville, TX, my actions upon winning the 4x100 relay were strictly the thrill of victory. With this being said, I do not feel my religious rights or freedoms were violated.”

But just because the supposed victim of this tale of persecution admits that it is not true, that is not about to stop "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt from using it in his latest prayer update or his "Pray in Jesus Name" television program where he claimed that Hayes was disqualified because "demonic spirits" had possessed the race officials (22:00 in):

He's inspired by the Holy Spirit and he points his finger up in the air to praise God. I see the Holy Spirit inside of these young men who won that race. 

Even as they are now pointing to God and praising God for that victory, something terrible happens; there's a demonic spirit now that enters the referees, the officials, and they say "oh did you see that? He just referred to God. We need to stop that and we need to disqualify them!" And they're punished for their righteousness by the demonic spirit that's inside the referees.  

In an email to members of his Pray In Jesus Name Project yesterday, Gordon Klingenschmitt said that Religious Right activists must become “the voice” of the “abused kids” raised by same-sex parents, who he says are “not only recruited into but used as pawns for the homosexual agenda.”

Klingenschmitt responded to Justice Kennedy’s statement about the need to remember the “voice of those children” who “live with same-sex parents” while hearing the Proposition 8 case by arguing that “those abused children really wanted one mom and one dad, they just didn't know better having been misled by California Judges who impose homosexual parents upon innocent kids, against their will, and against the will of California voters.”

He also claimed that Christians cannot support politicians who favor legalizing same-sex marriage and warned that gay rights advocates are bent on “taxing heterosexuals more to pay homosexuals to engage in immorality” and “reward their acts of sodomy.”

Now 51 of 55 Democrat Senators are now openly pro-homosexual (all but Pryor, D-AR; Johnson, D-SD; Manchin, D-WV; and Landrieu, D-LA) compared to just 2 of 45 Republicans(Portman, R-OH; Kirk, R-IL). [Dr. Chaps' comment: Never again can any Bible-believing Christian support them, if Christ is still Lord of your heart.]

Shocker: Last week Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) literally blamed Jesus Christ for creating homosexual "marriage." Really Senator? Jesus made you vote for sin?

If you saw how the left-wing major media (including Fox News) reported today's Supreme Court arguments, it appears all but a foregone conclusion that 5 of the 9 justices will vote to homosexualize "marriage" this week, and release their decision in June.

For example, here's a quote from Justice Kennedy, supposedly the 'conservative' but open-minded swing vote, who today voiced concern about the estimated 40,000 children in California with homosexual 'parents': "They want their parents to have full recognition and full status. The voice of those children is important in this case," Kennedy said.

No, Justice Kennedy, those abused children really wanted one mom and one dad, they just didn't know better having been misled by California Judges who impose homosexual parents upon innocent kids, against their will, and against the will of California voters.

But here's some good news. 15,000 Christians marched on the Supreme Court today, demanding we define marriage as only valid between one man and one woman, for the sake of the kids, because every child deserves a mom and a dad. Let's petition with them, and let's be the voice of those abused kids, not only recruited into but used as pawns for the homosexual agenda, as proven in today's court arguments by Justice Kennedy himself.

While the national media covers only the debt crisis, Democrats in the Senate are attacking traditional marriage between one man and one woman, by attempting to repeal the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Not satisfied with homosexualizing the military, or forcing gay "marriage" in states like New York, radical homosexuals testified on Capitol Hill today demanding homosexual "bonus pay" with more than 1,100 federal benefits that reward their acts of sodomy in all 50 states, taxing heterosexuals more to pay homosexuals to engage in immorality.

On Tuesday Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced, and President Obama quickly endorsed a new bill S.598 to promote homosexual marriage, mislabeled the "Respect for Marriage Act" (RFMA) to end federal law that defines traditional marriage between one man and one woman. White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Tuesday "President Obama is proud to support the Respect for Marriage Act," which disrespects traditional marriage by enforcing homosexual marriage upon all 50 states. His views are no longer "evolving" rather Obama is now fully out of the closet promoting gay marriage nationwide.

Charisma news editor Jennifer LeClaire is not the only one concerned about the prospect of openly gay athletes playing in the NFL, as "Doctor Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt is also sounding the alarm, warning that if NFL players come out as gay, youth coaches will start "recruiting children into the homosexual lifestyle and punishing Christians because they voice an opposition to that sort of thing in the locker room."

"I think the Devil is afoot here," Klingenschmitt warned, saying it "is a demonic use of the sporting industry":

We’re used to hearing claims by right-wing activists that gay rights supporters are “heterophobic.” Former chaplain and gay-exorcist Gordon Klingenschmitt argued along those lines in an interview today, where he maintained that same-sex partner benefits represent “discrimination against heterosexuals.”

While speaking with OneNewsNow, an affiliate of the American Family Association, Klingenschmitt criticized Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s decision to offer some — but not all — military benefits to same-sex spouses. Klingenschmitt said such a move will give gay service members “bonus pay and more benefits when all the rest of our troops are getting less benefits, less armor, less weapons and less ability to fight wars.”

Sources say Panetta has not made a final decision on which benefits will be included, but the Pentagon is likely to allow same-sex partners to have access to the on-base commissary and other military subsidized stores, as well as health and welfare programs.

The military is likely to require that some type of document be signed to designate the military member's partner as a legitimate recipient of the benefits. But Gordon Klingenschmitt, a former Navy chaplain who now runs The Pray In Jesus Name Project, tells OneNewsNow that "this is not equality."

"This is now discrimination against heterosexuals, because when I was dating my girlfriend -- even when she was engaged to be married to me -- she was not allowed to enter the commissary or even get on the military base until we were legally married," he recalls.

And Klingenschmitt says this move is especially outrageous in light of the Defense Department budget cuts that are coming.

"When [Panetta] talks about sequester and cutting the Pentagon budget by 22 percent, apparently those cuts don't apply to homosexuals, because they're getting bonus pay and more benefits when all the rest of our troops are getting less benefits, less armor, less weapons and less ability to fight wars," the chaplain reasons.

He concludes that all this has come about because the people of the United States elected -- and then re-elected -- Barack Obama as president.

Gordon Klingenschmitt typically uses his Pray In Jesus Name Project email list to attack gays and gay right supporters, but yesterday he asked members to join renewed efforts by the House GOP to repeal the health care reform law. Klingenschmitt, a longtime Religious Right activist who once performed an exorcism on a gay rape survivor, warned that “federal bureaucrats will enforce Obamacare to exterminate the elderly, systematically” and claimed that “the government is now abolishing the church with the state sword.”

Euthanasia is coming from Obamacare. He already de-funded Medicare Advantage by 800 Billion dollars, taking care away from the elderly to pay young people who refuse to work. Democrats see cost savings by eliminating the red line above. Federal bureaucrats will enforce Obamacare to exterminate the elderly, systematically. We must take a stand.

When the Obama Administration openly punishes Christian and Catholic hospitals, universities, and employers who refuse to dispense abortion pills, they have crossed the line of separation. The government is now abolishing the church with state sword.

Former military chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt is citing an article by fellow anti-gay activist Ron Crews to warn that the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell has led to the “persecution” of Christians in the military. “Christian troops endure open homosexual harassment,” Klingenschmitt writes in his latest email to members of his Pray In Jesus Name Project, “Sexual harrassment [sic] is banned in the military, unless you're a homosexual abusing a Christian, then it's openly encouraged.”

Klingenschmitt also argued that soldiers should be able to refuse to share a bunk with an openly gay soldier because otherwise they will be groped: “imagine the horror of being ‘chosen’ as a bunkmate, and then being forced to endure ogling or groping without complaining.” Later, he called on activists to support the “Military Religious Freedom Act” because “President Obama's latest assault on military Christians” includes having “Christian chapels [become] desecrated by acts of sodomy.”

'Gay' Sailors can choose Bunkmates, but Christian Sailors can't opt-out.

As the Presidential election distracts the Senate from passing the Pentagon budget, military chaplains remain under immense pressure to facilitate homosexual 'weddings' in military chapels in all 50 states.

In New Jersey, Florida, and Lousiana [sic] Christian military chapels have been desecrated by acts of sodomy, despite the fact all three of these states prohibit gay 'marriage.'

Now the Washington Times confirms what we said all along, that military Christians face persecution since the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, which already causes anti-Christian discrimination. Christian troops endure open homosexual harassment. For example:

"At an officer training service school, a male serviceman sexually harassed another male serviceman through text messages, emails, phone calls and in-person confrontations. The harassing male insisted the two would 'make a great couple.' The harassed serviceman reported the harassment, but the command failed to take disciplinary action."

Homosexual Sailors receive preferential treatment. "The Navy has allowed sailors openly engaged in homosexual behavior to choose their bunkmates," says Col. Ron Crews, a retired Chaplain leading the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty.

But if Christian Sailors don't want a homosexual roommate, they cannot refuse one. Christians who refuse such open homosexual advances are labeled as discriminators. Can you say double-standard? Just imagine the horror of being "chosen" as a bunkmate, and then being forced to endure ogling or groping without complaining.

Sexual harrassment [sic] is banned in the military, unless you're a homosexual abusing a Christian, then it's openly encouraged. For example, desecrating their chapels. (Examples and proof below.) But will the Senate protect chaplains and Christians?

Let's take a stand for our Christian troops rights, especially Chaplains, today.

In response to YOUR faxes, two Senators Roger Wicker (R-MS) and my friend James Inhofe (R-OK) have just introduced new legislation in the Senate, as "The Military Religious Freedom Act." I met with Wicker's staff this summer, and they received my suggestion clearly, since the new bill mirrors the two good amendments already passed by the House, and protects both military chaplains AND chapels from desecration.

Sadly, more homosexual "weddings" are desecrating Christian chapels on military bases, for example in this story that features a Navy Chaplain who apparently desecrates a Christian chapel in New Jersey with a sodomite ceremony endorsing sin. (And then claims nobody is offended when Christian chapels are desecrated by acts of sodomy.)

This "wedding" in New Jersey is President Obama's latest assault on military Christians, after homosexual ceremonies have already desecrated chapels in Florida and Lousiana [sic].

Religious Right activist and gay exorcist Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmitt continued his venomous anti-gay campaign attacking Sen. Al Franken’s Student Non-Discrimination Act on City on a Hill Radio, which he argued would “homosexualize our schools” and “promote sodomy in our public school systems.”

Al Franken should not be in the U.S. Senate but anyway he’s promoting what they call, it’s misnamed, the ‘Safe Schools Bill’ which really is a ‘Sodomite Schools Bill,’ he’s trying to recruit and enforce homosexual education standards upon all fifty states to require that teachers facilitate what they call tolerance of sodomy, of sin, in the public school classroom. They want to teach children, not just in health education classes but as young as kindergarten, as young as first grade, that homosexuality is really not a sin, that it’s okay, that we should be tolerant, and if the teachers don’t teach those lectures they would lose their public school funding. So this is already a bill that’s gaining steam in the United States Senate, I think he has forty-two cosponsors who are U.S. Senators who are trying to homosexualize our schools, and we are demanding, in fact we are petitioning Congress and sending faxes after faxes, to stop the homosexual agenda and kill the Al Franken bill that would promote sodomy in our public school systems.

He warned that the Obama administration will soon allow gay and lesbian service members in relationships to collect “homosexual bonus pay” and “homosexualize base houses” and “have gay pride parades on the flight line” on air force bases. Klingenschmitt went on to maintain that gay couples adopting children are committing “child abuse” and only adopt with the goal of “recruiting them into the homosexual lifestyle.” “That’s why they’re trying to get into our kindergarten books and trying to take over our public schools and homosexualize our public education so that they can recruit children into homosexuality and maintain their pool of available sex partners for their own progeny,” he said, “which is our children that they are stealing and warping their minds.”

Right now as it is homosexual spouses for lack of a better word, what they think are spouses God thinks is an abomination, are not allowed to live in base housing, but you know the Obama administration is going to push for that in these next four years, they’re going to push for homosexual bonus pay. By the end of these four years if the Obama administration has their way and if the Republicans in Congress don’t stand up against this, they are going to homosexualize base houses, they’re going to have gay pride parades on the flight line, who knows what they’re going to be doing on air force bases and places around the world. I’m very concerned of course; adoption of any child by a homosexual couple is child abuse and children need to be protected from that. There have been studies out now that say up to twenty-eight percent of children who are raised by homosexual couples will become homosexual themselves so that’s a recruiting effort, it’s warping the minds of our younger generation, it is directly recruiting them into the homosexual lifestyle. Why? Because if they don’t recruit the children of heterosexual couples, they cannot replenish their population.

The only way they have children is to recruit or in this case adopt the children of heterosexual couples which amounts to child abuse and child recruiting. That’s why they’re trying to get into our kindergarten books and trying to take over our public schools and homosexualize our public education so that they can recruit children into homosexuality and maintain their pool of available sex partners for their own progeny, which is our children that they are stealing and warping their minds.
