Klingenschmitt: Transgender CO Student Is Visually 'Raping' Girls By Using The Locker Room

As Brian noted earlier this week, the Religious Right has been promoting claims made by the Pacific Justice Institute about a transgender student in a Colorado high school who had supposedly been harassing other girls in the locker room and restrooms.

In reality, there was no harassment, as the entire story originated with the fact that PJI considers the mere presence of a transgender girl to be "inherently intimidating and harassing."

Today, on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt discussed the topic where, in addition to predictably blaming it on a "demonic spirit," he accused this transgender student of "raping, at least visually, these teenage girls" by sharing a locker room with them:

Dr. Chaps Is Running For Office!

Folks who read this blog know "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt as the disgraced former Navy Chaplain who brags of having successfully performed an exorcism on a lesbian soldier and who has stated again and again that demonic spirits are behind everything from abortion to gay marriage to ENDA to President Obama to Madonna

He is the sort of Religious Right activist who openly states that gay should be discriminated against and warns that President Obama is trying to create an atheist army to attack Christians, urging Christians to sell their clothes if need be in order to purchase weapons with which to defend themselves.

To that impressive resume, "Dr. Chaps" can now add candidate for public office in Colorado, as he announced today that he is running for House seat in the state's District 15 with a video introducing himself to the voters:

For some reason, Klingenschmitt's video doesn't touch on any of the important issues like how Obamacare causes cancer or how gay activists are forcing Christians to participate in sodomy or how President Obama is creating an atheist army with which to attack Christians or how all of the nation's laws need to reflect God's laws.

We can only hope that he'll address these topics in future campaign videos.

Klingenschmitt: Transgender Professor Possessed By A Demonic Spirit

On today's "Pray In Jesus Name" program, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt discussed a situation where former chair of the theology department at a Christian college was asked to leave after he came out as transgender and began to transition from female to male.

Klingenschmitt, predictably, declared that the professor was possessed by a demonic spirit, but took it a step further by demanding that all the administrators who allowed this professor to teach at this Christian college should be fired.

"All of the theology [department administrators] who allowed this woman to grow into a position of responsibility like that, they ought to be fired too," Klingenschmitt said. "No Christian university ought to allow a demonic spirit to be chair of a theology professor [sic]":

Klingenschmitt: Gay Activists Are Trying To Force Christians To 'Participate In Their Sodomy'

On last week's "Pray In Jesus Name" program, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt hailed an effort by Republican legislators in Washington to allow businesses to discriminate against gay customers based on religious conviction, saying it was needed in order to fight back against the "demonic spirit of tyranny" that is seeking to force Christians to participate in sodomy.

Declaring that "sodomy will always be a sin in the eyes of God" even if it is legal in the US, Klingenschmitt said that gay activists are using the government to compel Christians "to participate in their sodomy" or face lawsuits and jail.

All of this, Klingenschmitt said, is really an effort to force Christians to convert religions "and that demonic spirit is everything our Founding Fathers stood against":

Klingenschmitt: The Overturning Of His Conviction Proves That Tom DeLay Is A Godly Man

On his "Pray In Jesus Name" program today, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt hailed the news that Tom DeLay had his money laundering conviction overturned on appeal last week because DeLay is a "church man" who "just emanates the spirit of God."

In fact, according to Klingenschmitt, the court decision "proves that [DeLay is] a godly man because the Devil came after you and failed":

State Sen. Kent Lambert: Colorado's Civil Unions Bill Is A 'Mind-Control Experiment'

Today, Colorado State Senator Kent Lambert appeared in person on the "Pray In Jesus Name" program along with its demon-obsessed, ex-gay exorcist host "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt where Lambert declared that Colorado's civil unions law is an effort to implement "mind-control" and that allowing transgender children to use the proper bathroom is just like "the kind of agendas that the greatest dictators in world history have tried to press in the past."

While discussing the civil unions legislation, Lambert asserted that the law had no exemptions for religious objections, which means that it "completely suppresses basically any ideas; it's a mind-control experiment by the majority party, the Democrats, here in Colorado to force everybody, including children in schools, everything else, under penalty of law, to believe in homosexual marriage."

Later, Lambert declared that allowing transgender children to use the bathroom violates everyone's right to privacy, meaning that "privacy will no longer be in effect in the United States if this agenda continues in the direction that it is right now.  This is certainly Brave New World, the Aldous Huxley novel that Big Brother is here, he's alive and well and we're going to force you into the kind of agendas that some of the greatest dictators in world history have tried to press in the past."

We should point out that "Big Brother" appears in George Orwell's 1984, not Huxley's Brave New World:

Brown: Ellen DeGeneres Proves That Gay Rights Are Nothing Like Civil Rights

Anti-gay activist Michael Brown, the author of "A Queer Thing Happened to America," was the guest on "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt's "Pray In Jesus Name" program today where he made the case that the fight for gay rights cannot be equated to the fight for civil rights because blacks didn't have a popular figure like Ellen DeGeneres during segregation.

Apparently operating under the delusion that there were no popular African American celebrities before the end of segregation, Brown said that gay rights and civil rights have nothing in common not only because blacks don't have to "come out" and declare themselves as such but also because "during the days of segregation, we didn't have people like Ellen DeGeneres who were national celebrities who were black and just loved by the whole nation."

Brown continued, making an even more illogical point by declaring that "we didn't have a gay or lesbian president - we have a black president now - [so] you can't compare the these things at all." Of course, we didn't have a black president during segregation either, so we are not quite sure what point Brown thinks that he is making:

Klingenschmitt: 'Obamacare Causes Cancer'

In addition to being an authority on gay exorcisms and all things demonic, it seems that "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt is also an expert on the topic of health care and has even made two separate appearances on MSNBC's "The Ed Show" debating the issue.

Following one of these appearances, "Dr. Chaps" said on his "Pray In Jesus Name" show today, he received an email from someone defending President Obama's health care reform legislation by telling the story of a friend who was unable to receive treatment for her cancer because she could not get insurance.

In response, "Dr. Chaps" said that Obamacare was not the answer but was, in fact, the cause of her death, saying "Obamacare is the one that killed this poor lady with cancer."

As "Dr. Chaps" sees it, Obamacare is actually causing people to lose their health insurance which means that "Obamacare causes cancer":

Keyes: We Must Elect An 'Impeachment And Removal Congress' In 2014

Alan Keyes was the guest today on "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt's "Pray In Jesus Name" program where Keyes asserted that President Obama's agenda can only be properly understood if one accepts the fact that his mission is to ultimately destroy the United States of America.

And the only way to stop him, Keyes explained, is to make impeachment the focus of the 2014 mid-term elections.

"We have an election in 2014," Keyes said, "and the Constitution makes it very clear; if a majority of the House impeaches them and if two-thirds of the Senate vote to kick them out, they'll be gone. A third of the Senate is up in 2014 and the whole House is up and that means we have more than enough opportunity to get an impeachment and removal Congress if we will rally around the purpose":

Klingenschmitt: Colorado Recall Election A Victory For Jesus

Heavenly angels were singing when two Democratic state senators in Colorado were defeated in a low-turnout recall election that focused on the lawmakers’ support for tougher gun laws, at least according to “Dr. Chaps” Gordon Klingenschmitt. The exorcist and former navy chaplain actively campaigned for the Republican challengers, the Colorado Independent reports:

“I was praying tonight that God would inspire His people,” Gordon Klingenschmitt, assured Linda Herpin, wife of the GOP recall challenger, minutes before El Paso County Republicans announced that her husband had unseated Morse, a Democrat.

“I wanted to help recall John Morse specifically because of 2nd Amendment issues,” he said. “As a Christian, as a person who follows Jesus, I believe in the 2nd Amendment. I believe that when Jesus said, for example, ‘sell your cloak and buy a sword,’ that he endorsed the idea of self-defense, that defending yourself is not a crime. In fact, it’s a moral obligation to defend your wife, to defend your family, and John Morse stands against families who want to do that —stands against people who want to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights.”

In an email to members of his Pray In Jesus Name Project, Klingenschmitt writes that Jesus was the real winner in Colorado:

Victory! Jesus and 2nd Amendment win Colorado Senate races

Not only do I live in southern Colorado, where conservatives just successfully recalled two gun-grabbing liberal Senators who voted to restrict our 2nd Amendment rights, but I got personally involved in the local politics (block walking, petition gathering, donating, making phone calls, and praying) that helped elect a new Republican State Senator Bernie Herpin and throw out the Democrat Senate President John Morse. This internationally-watched race confronted President Obama himself, who sent VP Joe Biden to lobby the Colorado Senate to punish gun-owners, but those efforts backfired.

That said, I still believe religious freedom is the First right, because even if you have the right to bear arms, assemble, speak, and petition, but you don't have the right to worship Almighty God or pray in Jesus' name, then the government still owns your soul. Let's tell them "not my soul" today.

Klingenschmitt: Atheists Are Vile, Corrupt, And Demon-Possessed

In the last few weeks, we have heard Religious Right activists cite Bible verses to declare that those who do not have a proper "fear of the Lord" cannot be wise or have understanding and cannot be a good scientist or mathematician because they do not possess true knowledge.

Today, on his "Pray in Jesus Name" show, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt followed that pattern when he said that those who do not believe in God cannot be good because "God is not ruling in their heart and the Holy Spirit is what makes good inside of us."

Citing Psalm 14:1, Klingenschmitt asserted that atheists are possessed by demonic spirits that cause them to defy God, meaning they are corrupt and vile; therefore there is no such thing as a good atheist:

GOP Congressman Chats With Demon-Obsessed Anti-Gay Exorcist

One of the complaints that we hear occasionally from our readers or followers on Twitter is "why are you writing about Person X? Stop giving them publicity." And generally our response is that we pay attention to these people because others within the Religious Right movement and Republicans in Congress pay attention to them and so it is important to understand their views and agenda.

Take "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt, for instance.  He is a disgraced former Navy Chaplain who brags of having successfully performed an exorcism on a lesbian soldier and who has stated again and again that demonic spirits are behind everything from abortion to gay marriage to ENDA to President Obama to Madonna.  He openly states that gay should be discriminated against and warns that President Obama is trying to create an atheist army to attack Christians, urging Christians to sell their clothes if they have to in order to purchase weapons with which to defend themselves.

And today, on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program he interviewed, in person, Colorado Republican Congressman Doug Lamborn where the two prayed together for the State of Israel:

The interview itself was rather unremarkable, but the fact that a member of Congress would agree to appear on a program hosted by a demon-obsessed anti-gay exorcist is anything but.

Klingenschmitt: Under ENDA, 'Christians Will Be Bankrupted' And 'Starve To Death'

After urging Christian photographers to add the line “worthy of death” to photos they take of same-sex weddings, Dr. “Chaps” Gordon Klingenschmitt emailed members of his Pray In Jesus Name Project today warning that Christians may face unemployment and starvation if the Employment Nondiscrimination Act (ENDA) passes.

Klingenschmitt, who has previously called ENDA a demonically-inspired bill, said that a New Mexico case where a photography business violated a non-discrimination law is proof that ENDA will compel Christian businessmen “to disobey God.”

“The Government is now ordering you: Forsake God or starve to death,” Klingenschmitt writes. “I pray that I would choose bankruptcy, starvation, even death, before disobedience to God.”

He lamented that the Supreme Court’s “decision to homosexual marriage” has made conservative members of Congress feel “discouraged” in the face of Democrats who are “pushing radical change faster than we can oppose it.”

Christians MUST participate in Gay "Weddings" rules State Supreme Court

Two Christian photographers have no religious rights and must participate in homosexual "wedding" ceremonies or face big fines, penalties, and bankruptcy, the New Mexico Supreme Court ruled.

The unanimous verdict was written by one justice who wrote the photographers were "compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives," reports Fox News.

Compelled to disobey God? By whom? Who has more authority than God?

If ENDA becomes law, Christians will be bankrupted in all 50 states, ordered to choose between obedience to God (refusing to participate in sin) and remaining in business. The First Amendment guarantees our freedom from such burden. The Government is now ordering you: Forsake God or starve to death. I pray that I would choose bankruptcy, starvation, even death, before disobedience to God.

Friends, I cannot believe Republicans are allowing this. Our good conservative friends in Congress are so discouraged on Capitol Hill, especially after the bad Supreme Court decision to homosexualize ‘marriage,’ and Democrats are pushing radical change faster than we can oppose it.

Klingenschmitt: Christian Photographers Should Print Anti-Gay Scripture On The Back Of Gay Wedding Photos

Last month, the New Mexico Supreme Court ruled that a photography studio's refusal to photograph a same-sex wedding was a violation of the state's anti-discrimination laws and "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt is not happy about the ruling.

But he does have a novel solution: any Christian photographer who photographs a gay wedding should just print anti-gay verses of Scripture on the back of every photo.

Klingenschmitt said Christian business owners should print Romans 1:32, which he claims declares that gays are "worthy of death," on the back of all their business cards and announce that if any gay couples hires them to photograph their wedding, they are going to print the same verse on the back of each and every photo:

Klingenschmitt: The FCC Is Letting Demonic Spirits 'Molest And Visually Rape Your Children'

Citing a campaign launched by Morality In Media to ensure that Tom Wheeler, President Obama's nominee to head the Federal Communications Commission, will enforce decency standards, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt said on his "Pray In Jesus Name" show that demonic spirits are using lax FCC enforcement of these standards to "molest and visually rape your children."

"Dr. Chaps" said that former FCC chairman Julius Genachowski failed to adequately enforce the decency standards during his time in office and that was because there was a "demonic spirit of tyranny or immorality inside of him."

And even though Genachowski outwardly appears very polished and successful, "the demonic spirit influences him to abuse and, dare I say, molest and visually rape your children":

Klingenschmitt: Madonna Is Possessed By A Demonic Spirit Of Adultery

On his most recent "Pray In Jesus Name" program, "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt dedicated an entire segment to investigating the question of whether pop star Madonna is possessed by demons.

Citing lyrics from her song "Revolver," which he judged against the "Warning Against the Adulterous Woman" from Proverbs 7, Klingenschmitt concluded that, in fact, Madonna is possessed by a demonic spirit of adultery.

Klingenschmitt then added that he has heard of people being cured of liver cancer after repenting for this sin of pornography, before politely declining Madonna's invitation to engage in intercourse because he has been happily married for 22 years:

Klingenschmitt: 'American Law Needs To Reflect God's Law'

A large portion of "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt's most recent "Pray In Jesus Name" program was dedicated to replaying an interview he recently gave to Alan Colmes over his assertion that gays ought to be discriminated against.

After having played the entire interview, Klingenschmitt commented that he and Colmes disagree on the role that the Bible should play in our public policy, with Klingenschmitt saying that "American law needs to reflect God's law."

If it does not, Klingenschmitt warned, "American law is telling some people, oh this is really legal, when it's actually illegal under God's law ... [and that] does a disservice even to the homosexual community who will face that on Judgment Day":

A Lesson For 'Dr. Chaps' On How The Internet Works

Over the last week or so, we have written several posts featuring statements that have been made by "Dr. Chaps" Gordon Klingenschmitt on his daily "Pray In Jesus Name" program and elsewhere, including one in which he asserted that Texas state Senator Wendy Davis is "ruled by a demon of murder" and ought to be prosecuted.

As we generally do, we uploaded that video to YouTube so we can embed it in our post and so others can do the same.  Of course, since this is the internet, things posted on it sometimes attract unfriendly and unpleasant comments ... but according to a statement put out by Klingenschmitt on Friday, we are going to be held criminally liable for a few random comments left by completely anonymous users on one of the internet's most popular and heavily trafficked sites because, by failing to remove them, we are now supposedly encouraging "the assassination of pro-life Christian leaders":

In their most recent post on YouTube.com, RWW plagiarized (without consent) and posted (using their own web-site logo) part of an original PIJN NEWS television broadcast created and copyrighted by Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, PhD, in which he criticized a pro-abortion Texas legislator. Within 24 hours, six anti-Christian followers of RWW published written death threats against the chaplain on RWW's youtube page.

Three of those posts, still active on YouTube as of 16 Aug, call upon RWW's followers to kill Chaplain Klingenschmitt:
1.       can we murder this fu**
2.       I don't think he's a fetus. So yeah, you could murder him and still be pro-life.
3.       Another white a** cracker pu*** that needs a .45 Caliber renovation.

Three other followers of RWW stated they wished the Chaplain would die, or had been murdered by an abortionist, or praised the demon of murder.
4.       What a pathetic little bi***. Can't wail till these people die out.
5.       Don't diss the "deamon of murder", I've met him. He's not a bad guy.
6.       This guy is a sh** person and would have been better if he was aborted.

The Chaplain takes these death threats seriously, and has notified the F.B.I. and YouTube. He said, "Sadly, Right Wing Watch fails to watch themselves, or censor death threats from their blog, making them an accessory after the fact. I asked RWW to delete their death threats, but so far they refuse, which makes me believe their blogger Kyle Mantyla and his supervisors at People for the American Way (including President Michael B. Keegan and Chairman Lara Bergthold) now encourage the assassination of pro-life Christian leaders. If such fate should befall me or anyone in my family, I hold RWW immediately responsible, yet I do pray that God will show mercy upon those who hate Christians, and soften their hearts to repent, so the Lord Jesus Christ will forgive their sins. I return their curses with a sincere prayer that God will bless them and save them from their sins and demons, in Jesus' name, Amen."

The fact that Klingenschmitt thinks that our fair use of clips from his program is "plagiarism" gives you a sense of just what sort of legal scholar we are dealing with, so it is no surprise that he also thinks that we are somehow responsible for random comments posted on YouTube.

So imagine our joy when "Dr. Chaps" took his tale of intimidation straight over to Rick Wiles' End Times radio program on Friday afternoon where Klingenschmitt threatened that he was going "to file conspiracy after the fact" charges against us - whatever that is supposed to mean - while Wiles openly asserted that we are intentionally hoping to get people killed:

Klingenschmitt: I have received six death threats in the last twenty four hours from followers of Right Wing Watch, which is a subset of People For the American Way, which was I think started by Norman Lear and a lot of communist funding went into that.

But when they attack you, when they attack me, they don't police themselves.  It's funny how Right Wing Watch doesn't watch their own followers because their own followers now - the conversation on their YouTube page began something like this: 'well, I wish that Chaplain Klingenschmitt had been aborted' and then this other guy said 'can we kill him?,' no, this other guy said 'I can't wait for him to die,' and then another guy said 'can we murder him?' And then someone responded 'yes, we can murder him' and then someone else responded 'he needs a .45 caliber renovation.'

Wiles: This is on the website of Right Wing Watch?

Klingenschmitt: It is.

Wiles: This is on the comments section.  They're always accusing conservatives and Christians of being hatemongers, but the Right Wing Watch and the Southern Poverty Law Center, these are the real hatemongers and they are deliberately trying to get somebody murdered.

Klingenschmitt: I left a message with the FBI and then I left messages [with PFAW and they] still have not removed the blogs, so now I'm back on the phone with the FBI this afternoon.  If we need to, we're going to file conspiracy after the fact or accessory after the fact criminal charges against these leaders because even though they know about it, they're doing nothing to constrain these death threats when are on their site threatening to kill me with a .45 caliber weapon.

...

Wiles: What these communist groups are doing is that they are fomenting such vehement hate against Christians that they really are hoping that somebody will go off their rocker and kill one of them.  That's really what these people are trying to do.

Obviously, these comments are not posted here on Right Wing Watch, as both Chaps and Wiles repeatedly asserted, since we don't have comments on this blog! The comments were posted by anonymous viewers on YouTube, which is a forum that we do not moderate or generally even read and for which we most certainly are not responsible.

But if "Dr. Chaps" wants to waste tens of thousands of dollars attempting to hold us criminally responsbile for random comments left by strangers on the internet, we wish him the best of luck.

Under current tax law, members of the clergy are entitled to receive a housing allowance upon which they are not required to pay taxes. This so called "parsonage allowance" allows clergy members to receive thousands of dollars per year from their church to be used to pay for their housing but this money is not classified as part of their salary and is thus exempt from taxation.
