MassResistance: Kissing 'Provoked' Violent Anti-Gay Attack in Moscow

MassResistance is celebrating the approval of harsh anti-gay legislation in Nigeria and Russia, and even blaming gay rights advocates for a brutal attack they suffered in Moscow. The group cited an Associated Press article about the Russian bill, which bans gay “propaganda” and gay rights material, and a vicious attack against opponents who were staging a “kissing rally”:

Before the vote, gay rights activists attempted to hold a "kissing rally" outside the State Duma, located across the street from Red Square in central Moscow, but they were attacked by hundreds of Orthodox Christian activists and members of pro-Kremlin youth groups. The mostly burly young men with closely cropped hair pelted them with eggs while shouting obscenities and homophobic slurs.

Riot police moved in, detaining more than two dozen protesters, almost all of them gay rights activists. Some who were not detained were beaten by masked men on a central street about a mile away.

But according to MassResistance, such violence was “provoked by homosexual activists,” who were only kissing.

“[M]any countries are starting to recognize the destructive aspects of the homosexual movement and taking concrete steps to deal with it,” the group writes. “Although in some cases the punishments are more draconian than Westerners are comfortable with, there is a sense that these nations do not want their cultural decisions dictated by the United States and other Western countries.”

The anti-gay organization even credited Scott Lively, who also helped craft anti-gay laws in Uganda, for the Russian legislation:

The Russian parliament (the Duma), voted 436-0 for a bill which bans giving information on homosexuality to minors or holding "gay pride" rallies. It is expected by insiders to pass easily in the upper house and be signed by Vladimir Putin. Just before the vote, homosexual activists held a public "kiss-in" outside the parliament building, which incited a heated reaction by traditionalists who were also there.

The bill is a culmination of events going back to 2007, when Massachusetts-based Pastor Scott Lively went on a 50-city speaking tour of Russia on pro-family issues. Lively subsequently published a widely distributed open letter to the Russian people warning them about allowing the homosexual agenda to become "mainstream" in that country.

Obviously, it is unfortunate that there was violence over this, though apparently it was provoked by homosexual activists.

It's expected that the United States, Britain, and other Western countries, which have formal foreign policies calling for protection of homosexual activism throughout the world, will announce their intention to impose sanctions or other action against Russia over this. It would appear that the Russians aren't worried about it.

As we reported last week regarding the recently passed bill in Nigeria outlawing homosexual activism, many countries are starting to recognize the destructive aspects of the homosexual movement and taking concrete steps to deal with it. Although in some cases the punishments are more draconian than Westerners are comfortable with, there is a sense that these nations do not want their cultural decisions dictated by the United States and other Western countries.

MassResistance Praises Nigerian Bill Criminalizing Homosexuality and Gay Rights Advocacy

Nigeria’s legislature recently passed a harsh anti-gay law that would punish same-sex couples and the “public show of same-sex amorous relationships” with long jail sentences and make the advocacy of gay rights illegal. The head of Nigeria’s Human Rights Commission warned that the legislation would even criminalize public displays of affection between family members of the same sex.

But the anti-gay group MassResistance is quite pleased and praised Nigeria for “taking bold steps to fight back” against attempts “to subvert public morality.”

“The breakdown in society caused by the homosexual movement seems to bring more general social destruction in African cultures than in the West,” the group said in a blog post. “And nation after nation has had enough.”

The government of Nigeria, which has one of the world's largest populations of AIDS sufferers, is outraged by what they feel is the Western world's efforts to subvert public morality. They are now taking bold steps to fight back.

Almost predictably, Great Britain and the United States are threatening to take action against Nigeria for having the nerve to challenge Western political correctness. A strong bill passes the Nigerian legislature

On Thursday, May 30 the Nigerian House passed a bill which outlaws and provides jail terms for homosexual activism, public homosexual behavior, and anyone entering into or conducting a "gay marriage." An identical bill passed the Senate in 2011. It now goes to the President.

As the Associated Press reported on Thursday:

Nigeria's House of Representatives voted Thursday to ban gay marriage and outlaw any groups actively supporting gay rights, endorsing a measure that also calls for 10-year prison sentences for any "public show" of affection by a same-sex couple.

Representatives appeared to unanimously approve the proposal in a voice vote, sending it immediately to President Goodluck Jonathan for him to potentially sign into law in Africa's most populous nation. It wasn't immediately clear if Jonathan would sign the measure, though gays and lesbians already face public ridicule and possible prison sentences in Nigeria.

While Western diplomats declined to immediately comment, the United Kingdom already has threatened to stop aid to nations that discriminate against gays. But those threats appear unlikely to assuage the desire of Nigerian authorities to further criminalize homosexuality, part of a wave of such laws in African nations eager to legislate against what they believe is a challenge of their traditional values by the West.

. . .In 2011, U.S. President Barack Obama issued a similar directiveasking officials to "ensure that U.S. diplomacy and foreign assistance promote and protect the human rights of" gays, lesbians and the transgendered. That included having diplomats "combat the criminalization" of being gay by foreign governments. . .

The Obama Administration even has an "openly gay" State Department official who specializes in dealing with African and Asian countries that are deemed "hostile" to the LGBT worldwide agenda.

In many ways, the Africans are feeling the brunt of the world-wide homosexual activist movement even more than the United States. They are dealing with the huge spread of AIDS. But also, the breakdown in society caused by the homosexual movement seems to bring more general social destruction in African cultures than in the West. And nation after nation has had enough.

Luckily, they're not intimidated by the West. We'll let you know what happens.

MassResistance Demands Red Sox Disinvite Gay Fans

The Massachusetts anti-gay group MassResistance, which previously called on the Boston Red Sox to apologize for making an “It Gets Better” video, is now demanding that the team cancel a gay pride event. The group put out a statement attacking the baseball team for “celebrating a week of obscene perversion” that features a “hideous, obscene, and outright disgusting display of perverse activities.”

Celebrating a week of obscene perversion

The Red Sox have been around long enough to know that "Pride Week" in Boston is a hideous, obscene, and outright disgusting display of perverse activities. (Plus, in recent years, more young people have been drawn in through Boston Pride's management of Massachusetts Youth Pride every May.)

And the Boston Red Sox organization are not only going to celebrate it at their ballpark, but will be financially supporting it from their ticket sales.

In an interview with the American Family Association’s news service OneNewsNow, the MassResistance’s president Brian Camenker called on fans to contact the team urging them to cancel “Pride Night at Fenway Park.” Camenker insists that he is just thinking about the children:

Homosexual-rights group Boston Pride says it is partnering with Fenway Park to sponsor "Pride Night," but a search of the Red Sox and Fenway Park websites by OneNewsNow did not show the event listed.

However, there is one event listed for Thursday night at Fenway Park - the Red Sox are kicking off their June after-school celebration, "Calling All Kids."

"Baseball is largely for kids, so why should homosexual activism be part of that?" asks Brian Camenker, president of the pro-family organization MassResistance.

"And you know a lot of just regular fans don't want to be part of that kind of thing when they go out for a baseball game," he adds.

"It's certainly nothing you expect." Camenker says the Red Sox organization is "going out of their way" to support the homosexual cause, including donating a percentage of Thursday night's proceeds to Boston Pride.

A special section of Fenway reportedly will also be designated for homosexuals who attend the ballgame.

"I called [the Red Sox] up and they don't seem to see how this is going to bother people," says Camenker. "They need to hear from people."

Minnesota Republican Lawmaker Warns of 'Gay Agenda in Public and Parochial Schools' and Hate Speech Laws

Following the passage of his state’s marriage equality law, Minnesota Republican state representative Glenn Gruenhagen is urging constituents to “resist the implementation of the gay agenda in public and parochial schools.” The blog Bluestem Prairie noticed Gruenhagen’s letter to the editor of the McLeod County Chronicle Wednesday, in which he claims that in Massachusetts there have already been cases where “citizens who would not succumb to politically correct speech have been charged with hate crimes.”

He cites the anti-gay group MassResistance as the source of his information and links to their website.

Of course, there are no such cases of people being “charged with hate crimes” for not using “politically correct speech.”

What is more troubling is that a state lawmaker is citing an organization whose leader Brian Camenker suggested gay marriage led to a rise in homelessness, crime, poor air quality and domestic violence, denies that gay people died in the Holocaust, likened pro-gay rights educators to “Nazi concentration camp guards” and compared gay rights efforts to Jim Crow laws.

Under this legislation, children could be chided and corrected for using gender specific terms like “mother and father” and instead will be told to use gender neutral terms like “parent and spouse” so as not to offend certain groups.

This may be difficult to believe, but as a long-term school board member, I do not make this statement lightly. I have personal experience as a board member, where state statutes were changed and eventually school curriculum and speech had to conform. I was then chided for public comments on school issues when I used terminology that was not politically correct.

In other countries and in the state of Massachusetts, where gay marriage has become the law, we have observed that citizens who would not succumb to politically correct speech have been charged with hate crimes and their parental rights infringed upon. (Seewww.massresistance.com for more information.)

When signed, this bill will become the law of our state. We are a nation of laws, however we still have the right as citizens, parents and school officials to passively resist the gay agenda coming into our schools. …

During these past several months, Lutheran and Catholic organizations were key groups opposing the gay marriage bill. As your state representative, I am very thankful for their help in opposing the passage of gay marriage.

I plan to introduce legislation next session in an attempt to strengthen parental rights and school official rights to resist the implementation of the gay agenda in public and parochial schools. I will also introduce legislation to strengthen protection for our religious freedoms.

MassResistance: LGBT-Rights Celebration Brought 'Spiritual Darkness' to Massachusetts State House

Last month, MassResistance head Brian Camenker claimed that teachers in LGBT-inclusive schools in Massachusetts will be just like “Nazi concentration camp guards” following the passage of a transgender anti-discrimination law. MassResistance attended a celebration of the transgender equality law and issued a report titled “The State House event from hell.” The group said that the event’s “spiritual darkness took a long time to get over” as “hatred and evil resonated throughout the room,” and went on to warn that the LGBT rights movement is targeting children for recruitment.

Hatred and evil resonated throughout the room

It was their "victory dance" and they wanted to make a point that there's a lot more to come. The room was filled with hardcore transgender and homosexual activists.

Of all the "gay" events at the State House over the years, this was the worst. The sheer hatred in the room against pro-family people was so thick you could feel it, and it seemed to resonate through every speech. The spiritual darkness took a long time to get over. It was reminiscent of the horrible cheering and screaming scene by homosexual activists outside Boston City Hall in 2004 when the first "gay marriages" took place.

The event began with several high-profile speakers, including the Governor, Attorney General, and Speaker of the House, and other politicians, followed by leaders and major figures from various state homosexual and transgender organizations.

The speakers were all very candid about their hostility for pro-family values and their plans to push the homosexual and transgender demands as far as they can. The speeches certainly fired up the activists. But to anyone else, it was eerie and unnerving.

• Children. A big target of this movement is children. They want to "help" children to find their identities.

• Demonizing our side. The people who did not agree with this bill are bigoted and backwards. Or, as Attorney General Martha Coakley "gracefully" put it: "nearsighted."

• Ruthlessness. They are going to be ruthless in enforcing it.

• More to come. This is just the beginning. They intend to use the law to its fullest, and expand it as much as they can. At a minimum, they intend to push through the "public accommodations" sections this session.

• Change America. They now have the power they need to change society, starting here but eventually across America.

As you can see, they are not stopping here. The radical activists have more plans are for you, your children, and all of society. And the high government officials who have contempt and hostility for people with traditional pro-family values are only too eager to carry them out. And they're relishing the fact that they have the power to do it as harshly as they wish.

Camenker: Educators Who Support LGBT-Inclusive Schools Like 'Nazi Concentration Camp Guards'

Brian Camenker of MassResistance appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk yesterday to denounce efforts in Massachusetts aimed at protecting transgender students.

He claimed that LGBT rights advocates “take advantage of these very vulnerable kids at a vulnerable time in their lives,” arguing that homosexuals do not exist: “You know, a lot of doctors have said to me that nobody is homosexual, they are just heterosexuals with homosexual problems and yes, change is possible.”

Camenker even argued that educators who support the new policy on gender identity in schools are much like “Nazi concentration camp guards” who “are doing this horrible evil and they are just taking orders or something, they believe in it.”

It’s insanity. I mean a boy cannot change his sex; your DNA does not change and you can call yourself something different, you can dress differently, you can take hormones, you are always a boy. The damage that this does to everybody, including the person involved and everybody around, is just unfathomable. These school administrators, you know I mean you think of them as what the Nazi concentration camp guards must have been like where they are doing this horrible evil and they are just taking orders or something, they believe in it. People need to rise up because it is only going to get worse.

Camenker: No Proof that Bullying Targets Gay Kids, 'If There Is Such a Thing'

MassResistance head Brian Camenker joined Sandy Rios of the American Family Association yesterday to attack the Department of Education for citing the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network’s School Climate Survey, which he labeled as “propaganda,” in a memorandum.

He told Rios that the survey on anti-LGBT bullying is “not scientific at all” and doubted its claims “about how transgender kids and homosexual kids — if there is such a thing — are harassed and everything.”

Rios: GLSEN is behind a lot of the thinking here, the Gay, Lesbian, Straight [Education Network] and that was founded by the Obama so-called safe schools czar Kevin Jennings.

Camenker: Right and it has a very sorted history of really radical homosexual activism regarding kids. One of the things that this directive cites is GLSEN’s so-called School Climate Survey, which is this national survey talking about how transgender kids and homosexual kids — if there is such a thing — are harassed and everything. But if you look at the way that survey is created, it’s not scientific at all, it’s self-selected by the gay clubs that are run by these gay activist people and there is nothing scientific about it. It’s basically propaganda. It’s run by this organization, GLSEN, that promotes these things in the public schools across the country and our government officials are using that as if it were real.

Camenker and Rios even talked about how they started doubting their own sanity as more and more educators use “ludicrous nonsense” when discussing LGBT issues in schools.

Rios: Brian, are there any times in the last ten years or so that you have questioned your own sanity? Have you ever just gotten confused by all that surrounds you?

Camenker: You know, it’s funny you should say that because I could remember in the beginning when I was dealing with the public schools that my kids were going to and you’d be surrounded by all of these people that believed and were talking about such ludicrous nonsense that sometimes you would, you’d say: maybe I’m crazy. You take these serious educators, at least I thought so back then, who were talking about all of this stuff very seriously, yeah, it drives you mad almost.

After the interview, Rios said she weeps for LGBT youth and warned that pro-gay rights lawmakers and advocates, including President Obama, “will in fact answer at some point and some day for the things that they’re doing.”

This is our future, just in case you were sleeping, this is our future. I think I’m like, buddy, when I think about the kids I’m talking angrily but honestly I could just weep, I could just weep. If you see the pictures in Brian’s missive for MassResistance, if you see those kids, I just can hardly bear it. I remember what Jesus said about what we did to our kids: Better than a millstone be tied around our neck and that we be thrown in the bottom of a pool of water than to hurt little, innocent children. The other part of this is I would not want to be in the feet of these legislators or the shoes of these homosexual activists, wouldn’t want to be in their shoes, or the shoes of this President, who will in fact answer at some point and some day for the things that they’re doing.

Rios: Opponents of Boy Scouts' Gay Ban Should Pay for Child Abuse Cases

The American Family Association’s Sandy Rios today continued to press the Boy Scouts of America against opening the organization to gay members on her radio show. She said that opponents of the ban like AT&T CEO Randall Stevenson, Ernst & Young CEO James Turley and Mitt Romney (!) who are affiliated with the BSA should be forced to pay for any future settlements of all the child abuse cases that Rios claims will be a consequence of having openly gay Boy Scouts.

I think I have a solution, I just thought of it this morning. I think these guys, let’s put Mitt Romney in there, and let’s put the guy with Ernst & Young whose name is James Turley, and let’s put Randall Stevenson the CEO of AT&T, and any of the other organizations or corporate sponsors who are pushing the Boy Scouts for this policy change. I think actually we might let this go through with the stipulation that whatever lawsuits are brought from now until the end of time against Boy Scout leaders who have sexually molested their Scouts, that they personally are responsible to pay them. Let’s go after Mitt Romney, let’s go after the guy at Ernst & Young, let’s go after Randall Stevenson at AT&T, let them write a check and just say, ‘I believe in this so much that I am willing personally to cover any costs on the outside, ridiculous chance that some Boy Scout should be molested by a gay Scout leader or seduced. If there is any harm then I’ll pay, I will pay.’ If they are willing to sign that statement, go for it. While we’re at it, we should have AT&T and all the other organizations like Ernst & Young that are pushing for this put their corporate—just think of all the money, the potential of lawsuits.

The AFA has even called for Stephenson to resign from the BSA board for “using his corporate influence to bully the BSA into gay assimilation,” and joined a whole host of Religious Right groups demanding that both Stephenson and Turley step down.

Along with the AFA, the coalition includes ex-gay groups like the Restored Hope Network and Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays (PFOX) in addition to Mat Staver’s Liberty Counsel; Rick Scarborough’s Vision America; Scott Lively’s Abiding Truth Ministries; Linda Harvey’s Mission America; Peter LaBarbera’s Americans For Truth About Homosexuality; Brian Camenker’s MassResistance... and the Women’s Christian Temperance Union, which apparently still exists.

MassResistance: Marriage Equality was Victorious because Religious Right Activists weren't Anti-Gay Enough

Brian Camenker’s group MassResistance is out with its analysis of the Religious Right’s failure in four states to ban same-sex marriage, and has concluded that equality opponents simply weren’t anti-gay enough. They accused the National Organization for Marriage and others of going to “great lengths not to criticize homosexuality” when they should have been working to “persuade the public through advertising that homosexual behavior was perverse, dysfunctional, and unhealthy” and exposing “the destructive nature of homosexual relationships.”

MassResistance explains that such advertisements are necessary because “in America the average person is emotionally and intellectually unequipped to confront the Orwellian and often vicious onslaught of propaganda, disinformation, threats, intimidation [and] confusion” about homosexuality, even comparing the plight of anti-gay activists to those resisting Communism in the Eastern Bloc.

At its root, "gay marriage" is really about the forced acceptance of homosexuality as a normal part of society. But both NOM and the state pro-family groups went to great lengths not to criticize homosexual behavior. They were very fearful of being perceived as "anti-gay" or "homophobic" especially in the liberal press. So they insisted on moderating everyone's messages. In Minnesota, for instance, activists were specifically told, "Don't make this a gay issue."

Those who deviated from this and took a more direct approach were shunned and even publicly criticized by the pro-family establishment. This included some of the vocal black churches in Maryland who wanted to quote the Bible, and activists in Maine and Minnesota who felt compelled to discuss the negative aspects homosexual behavior.

Except for some material posted on websites of the local pro-family groups, there were no attempts at all that we know of to persuade the public through advertising that homosexual behavior was perverse, dysfunctional, and unhealthy. Our side basically conceded that argument completely, and even went to lengths to state that "we're not anti-gay." The homosexual lobby took full advantage of that by aggressively portraying homosexuality as just another facet of normal human behavior.

This tactic is not sustainable, as it soon became clear. It certainly does not effectively counter the emotional strategies put forth by the homosexual lobby. At some point you have to engage in the real battle at hand.

Furthermore, the groups running the campaign opposing gay marriage had an arsenal of weapons about homosexuality, homosexual behavior, and the destructive nature of homosexual relationships that they didn't use because it would not be "politically correct" and would likely anger the liberal media -- and because it wouldn't be seen as "nice." And when they finally were willing to use the very effective issue of schools forcing homosexuality on kids, it was too late.

One thing is painfully clear: At this point in America the average person is emotionally and intellectually unequipped to confront the Orwellian and often vicious onslaught of propaganda, disinformation, threats, intimidation confusion -- and the force of law that often follows -- which engulfs us. That is something we must change.

Pope John Paul II famously observed that a major force that facilitated the collapse of the Soviet Union was the people who were no longer afraid to tell the truth. That's a beginning, along with internalizing the fact that we're in a war and not at a dinner party. And that being reactive instead of being aggressive only slows down our losses. All nonviolent movements understand that.

They also claimed that the push in Maryland to overturn the state’s marriage equality law may have failed due to…you guessed it, voter fraud!

During early voting in Maryland, in many cases the touch-screen machines which created paper ballots did not register the "no" votes on the marriage ballot question; instead it come out blank. One woman told us that she noticed hers came out blank, and she had to go back and re-vote on it. She said that this happened to many others she knew of, and that one person had to go back three times to get his "no" vote properly registered. This is outrageous.

At least one relatively conservative area in Maryland surprisingly voted "yes" for gay marriage. There is suspicion that some kind of voter fraud was behind that. "It was really startling that we lost there," one local activist told us.

We have been informed that pro-family attorneys are getting involved in the continuing counting of absentee ballots in some of the key areas where the vote was close.

Camenker: Gay Rights will 'Fall' like Nazism, Slavery and Segregation

Brian Camenker of MassResistance spoke to Sandy Rios of the American Family Association yesterday to promote his anti-gay group’s “What same-sex ‘marriage’ has done to Massachusetts” booklet. Rios insisted that marriage equality advocates have “had to do tricks, they’ve had to threaten, they’ve had to cajole” in order to legalize same-sex marriage, and Camenker said that “the whole gay marriage thing and the whole homosexual issue is artificially held up through threats and propaganda.” In fact, Camenker said that the gay rights movement will inevitably “fall” like a “house of cards” just like Nazism, slavery, segregation and Communism.

Rios: This is an area on which really still most people in Western civilization when asked do not embrace homosexual marriage. State after state has rejected it, and even in liberal New York and even in liberal California they’ve had to force it through in other ways, they’ve had to do tricks, they’ve had to threaten, they’ve had to cajole, it’s just an amazing thing. Brian I don’t know if it was you who wrote this, maybe it’s you who wrote this, that this whole wave of homosexual rights in every way—whether its marriage or workplace or whatever—you feel I believe you wrote that this is a phase, this is not something that is here to stay, this is like a fad, like a moment in history that cannot last. Are you the one that wrote that?

Camenker: I’ve written that a few times, yes, and I believe it very, very strongly. There have been times in our history when very strange things have happened and then disappeared and people thought that it would never happen. We think of the rise of Nazism in Germany and Europe, people thought that would never disappear and never change; people thought slavery would never change; I lived in the South as a young guy and nobody thought that segregation would ever end; we all remember that nobody thought that the Soviet Union and all of that would ever fall. I believe that the whole gay marriage thing and the whole homosexual issue is artificially held up through threats and propaganda and everything else. As soon as that doesn’t continue the whole things is a house of cards and will fall. People do not naturally support this. Everybody is looking with doom and gloom and everything but I believe that it is all going to fall at a certain point.

Gays Have Taken Over the FBI!

Brian Camenker’s organization MassResistance is out with a new “report” arguing that the “homosexual and transgender movements” are using the FBI and CIA to “crack down on pro-family groups and citizens.” He appeared on Crosstalk with host Jim Schneider of VCY America yesterday to warn that efforts by the government agencies to create a more open workplace for their gay and lesbian employees and to engage with the gay community to prevent and prosecute anti-gay hate crimes is part of a pernicious plan that will “do a lot of damage” and harm the Religious Right. Camenker said he is “really scared” of the FBI now that it has become an “out homosexual organization” that is “embracing the gay agenda” by trying to stem the tide of anti-gay hate crimes.

Schneider: Brian, many have been appalled at the annual gay celebrations that President Obama has hosted at the White House and we’ve also seen the State Department hosting these celebrations, this year though we saw the Department of Defense surrender to gay pride events. But your revealing in a release that you sent out today about additional federal agencies that are involved in law enforcement and also surveillance that you have embraced the homosexual and transgender movements, namely that of the FBI and the CIA, Brian it is appalling.

Camenker: It’s unbelievable. The FBI is just unbelievable to see. They have started a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender program on their careers website and they apparently have even gone from there to embracing the gay agenda, having a gay advisory committee, welcoming homosexuals as FBI agents, getting involved with pride events, but more than that going to gay pride events and encouraging homosexual activists to report hate crimes and working with them against pro-family groups. So this is what we’re seeing the FBI doing according to their own writings and according to the writings of the gay newspapers. We have one on our website, one of the gay newspapers in San Francisco, ‘FBI Encourages LGBTs to Report Hate Crimes,’ it is very, very frightening to see. The FBI is very powerful and they can do a lot of damage if they are out to get you.

Camenker: When an individual describes himself as being gay or lesbian, transgender or something, invariably that person is hostile to the pro-family position and is vigorous about pushing the entire agenda. We’ve seen that in the schools, we’ve seen that all over the place. We’re really scared about the FBI being this out homosexual organization.

Even the CIA isn’t safe from the “gay agenda.” “In the old days you thought of the CIA as being this internal spy organization but now what they are doing is they are actually participating in these activities” like gay pride events, lamenting that gays are no longer banned from serving in the agency. “Man, this is really, really, really bad,” Camenker said.

Towards the end of the program, the two decried California’s new law limiting the practice of harmful and discredited sexual orientation conversion therapy on minors. Camenker claimed that the delisting of homosexuality as a mental illness was a result of “an extreme terrorist movement in the medical community” and that indeed such therapy works as “there is a whole world of ex-gays around.” He warned that the California law will be especially bad for “these kids who have been preyed upon by the homosexual movement” and that homosexuality for them should be seen as “just a fad.” Later, Camenker agreed with a caller’s rant against homosexuality and said that it is not a sexual orientation but an “addiction.”

Camenker: Homosexuality and transgenderism and all of these things have traditionally been considered mental illness issues, in fact the transgenderism still is, it was only through an extreme terrorist movement in the medical community that changed that. There are successful groups around the country that work with people with homosexual, same-sex marriage issues, such as JONAH, which is a Jewish group, and Courage and NARTH and others, and there is a whole world of ex-gays around. I know several people who were very, very heavily involved with homosexual lifestyle, left it, have become married with kids and are leading just wonderful lives, and I’ve known kids who were gay activists who changed, who through some kind of therapy or working finally said ‘no I’m not really this at all’ and have left that lifestyle.

You have this whole world of people that have been healed of this and in California, the gay activists there pushed this thing through the legislature to ban that kind of counseling to people who want it if they are under eighteen. Unfortunately, some of the people who really need it are these kids who have been preyed upon by the homosexual movement and believe me I have known kids personally who have been preyed upon and thought they were gay and through the right kind of counseling understood that ‘no, it’s just a fad, I’m not really that way’ and are leading wonderful, productive lives and not even thinking about it, so this is terrible.

Caller: I am sick and tired of homosexuality being called a sexual preference, it’s like saying ‘I don’t prefer you live therefore I have the right to murder you,’ or ‘I don’t prefer you own that car so I’m going to steal it from you,’ it is not a preference it is a deviancy. It’s against nature’s law, it’s against God’s law and for a long time was against the laws of the United States both federally, locally and regionally for states.

Schneider: I appreciate that Doug I believe that was pointed out because what we are hearing so much today is that it’s an orientation and that it is not a lifestyle that is being chosen and that’s why you used the word ‘preference,’ not an ‘orientation,’ in that people are choosing that. Doug, it is a deviation and it totally goes against nature itself, as well.

Camenker: ‘Preference’ is inaccurate; I think the caller is correct. It is a deviation or sort of an addiction, what have you, I think addiction is probably closer to what it is.

Brian Camenker Blames Gay Marriage for Spike in Domestic Violence

MassResistance has updated its report, “What same-sex ‘marriage’ has done to Massachusetts,” and the group’s head Brian Camenker appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk to go down the list of all of the so-called negative impacts of marriage equality.

Anyone who thinks that same-sex "marriage" is a benign eccentricity which won't affect the average person should consider what it has done to Massachusetts since 2004. It's become a hammer to force the acceptance and normalization of homosexuality on everyone. The slippery slope is real. New radical demands never cease. What has happened in the last several years is truly frightening.

Camenker rehashed the typical claims about how gay rights is leading to anti-Christian persecution, but also told host Vice Eliason that marriage equality is responsible for an uptick in the state’s domestic violence cases. Experts say that domestic violence has increased nationwide, likely connected to economic stress, Massachusetts included.

But Camenker says gay couples are responsible for the increase, arguing that “the rates of domestic violence among homosexual couples is many, many times that of heterosexual couples,” which he alleges is a manifestation of “the dysfunctional nature of homosexual relationships.”

However, Jane Doe Inc. The Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence writes, “Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals are abused at approximately the same levels as heterosexual couples, but the abuse may be exacerbated by social isolation caused by societal oppression and discrimination.” The Center for American Progress also notes that “studies have found that domestic violence occurs among same-sex couples at comparable rates to straight couples,” not “many, many times that of heterosexual couples” as Camenker claims.

Eliason: Domestic violence, what’s happening in that field dealing with this new lifestyle?

Camenker: Well it’s well known that the rates of domestic violence among homosexual couples is many, many times that of heterosexual couples for all kinds of reasons. What’s happened in Massachusetts is that it has gotten so high that the legislature is having to budget more and more money, millions of dollars now, toward dealing with this problem up from a hundred thousand dollars just a few years go.

Camenker: It’s interesting at homosexual related events, you know gay pride events and all this stuff, they’re handing out all this gay domestic violence, partner violence literature, which is funded by the state. Apparently this has become a big problem; it’s even being passed out at high school gay clubs and all of this stuff. You know, the dysfunctional nature of homosexual relationships, which nobody wants to talk about, is being manifest more and more we’re seeing.

Linda Harvey: 'Diabolical' LGBT-Inclusive Education Leads to 'Abuse'

Mission America president Linda Harvey hosted Brian Camenker of MassResistance on her radio show this weekend, where the two lamented the growing number of schools that offer LGBT-inclusive clubs and curriculum. Camenker said that in Massachusetts LGBT rights advocates are “targeting school children,” even with lessons about sadomasochism, while Harvey claimed their “diabolical” programs are fostering “tragedies” and “abuse.”

Listen:

Camenker: The homosexual activism in schools, targeting school children, started in Massachusetts in the late 80s and early 90s.

Harvey: With Kevin Jennings and GLSEN.

Camenker: Kevin Jennings, the first gay clubs in the schools were done by him in the late 80s and the early 90s, he was the one who was brought in by then-Republican Gov. Bill Weld to design the plans, to push this in the public schools and force it into schools across the state. That’s been the blueprint for bringing it around the country. Massachusetts, I believe, puts more money into pushing homosexuality into the schools than probably the rest of the country combined.

But if you want to see where your future is, this is the place. It’s very, very troubling; it’s not pretty at all. We are doing a multi-part series on what we’ve exposed and what we’ve seen, and it ranges from topics from sadomasochism—sadomasochism!—and transgenderism, telling kids that they can change their sex, it’s an absurd idea anyway, this whole range of things and people need to see.

Camenker: There’s no stopping with what these people want to do with your kids, there is an obsession there and it is very, very troubling.

Harvey: It is very troubling and it’s really diabolical, it really is. Our neglect and our benign acceptance of how they position it, ‘that this is just the way kids are, they are born that way and this is identity,’ is allowing all of these tragedies and this abuse to happen to our kids.

Camenker: Yes, absolutely.

MassResistance Grieves Advances in Same-Sex Marriage 'Madness' and 'Lunacy'

More and more activists on the far right have blamed the recent political and legal victories of gay rights advocates on what they perceive as reluctance among conservatives to attack gays and lesbians more directly and aggressively. In response to a recent court ruling that struck down a section of the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) as unconstitutional, MassResistance said that supporters of the law must do more to challenge DOMA opponents’ underlying claims that gays and lesbians are “simply a minority group whose rights are illegally being denied by the federal government.”

“As long as homosexual behavior is not presented as abnormal, medically dangerous, and morally repugnant,” the group writes, “we will continue to lose.” MassResistance lamented the use of “cowardly” legal arguments that stress the importance of opposite-sex relationships instead of explicitly attacking homosexuality, concluding, “any legal argument on homosexual ‘marriage’ is bordering on madness, because the concept itself is sheer lunacy. We need to start saying that.”

The decision thus asserts that homosexuality and same-sex "marriage" are legitimate and unassailable from a moral or other standpoint. And from that assertion, homosexual "marriage" and heterosexual marriage are morally and legally interchangeable. And homosexuals are simply a minority group whose rights are illegally being denied by the federal government. This is all the homosexual groups needed to move forward.

The homosexual movement knows it cannot accomplish its goals through the ballot box (they've lost 32 state elections in a row). They've had some success through massive lobbying of state legislatures. But their most direct way is through corrupt courts. Taking down the DOMA law is key to forcing the imposition of "gay marriage" throughout America despite the votes in those 32 states. But it's still a considerable legal challenge to do it all at once. So by successfully attacking this narrow part of the DOMA law -- federal benefits and income tax filing status -- the homosexual movement opens the door to sebsequently [sic] dismantling all the rest of it.

As long as homosexual behavior is not presented as abnormal, medically dangerous, and morally repugnant we will continue to lose. If other side is allowed to portray homosexuality as normal and natural (but something conservatives simply are "bigoted" about) in their legal arguments, they will always eventually prevail. We cannot concede those points and instead attempt to argue on the basis of "legal" reasoning, the historical "purpose" of marriage, or weak-kneed arguments such as "every child needs a mother and father." But unfortunately that is exactly what too many pro-family lawyers and pro-family spokesmen do. It's the "respectable" path. But it's cowardly, ineffective, and the road to hell (so to speak).

The next step is the US Supreme Court. Will they agree with this? We certainly hope not, but it's frighteningly possible.

Our side has a terribly bad record of winning these kinds of court cases -- for the reasons stated above. In the grand scheme of things, any legal argument on homosexual "marriage" is bordering on madness, because the concept itself is sheer lunacy. We need to start saying that. As George Orwell once said, "We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men." Let's hope that the House of Representatives' legal team can find it in themselves to do the right thing.

Brian Camenker Compares Homosexuality to Racism Gay Rights Efforts to Jim Crow Laws

While taking to Americans For Truth About Homosexuality president Peter LaBarbera, Brian Camenker of MassResistance said that like racism, “homosexuality is unnatural,” and now “just like you had to have the Jim Crow laws to keep the races apart, you have to have these laws and diversity trainings and constant propaganda to keep it going.” Camenker explained that gay rights advocates are passing laws and disseminating “propaganda” with the aim of ending the freedom of speech, which he says they need to do since homosexuality “is generally repulsive to large numbers of people if not everybody”:

LaBarbera: Brian Camenker’s website MassResistance, that is hate, because they don’t like that Brian Camenker opposes homosexuality. This is the world we are living in and I think it’s tempting to laugh at it but if they keep going our First Amendment rights will be gone.

Camenker: There’s no question about it and that’s what they want. They want that to happen.

LaBarbera: They can’t handle a free and fair debate, where we can just talk about ideas, they have to censor everybody who opposes them?

Camenker: The problem that they have is that homosexual behavior in it of itself, to put it bluntly, is generally repulsive to large numbers of people if not everybody. In order to normalize this in any way there has to be this constant stream of propaganda.

Camenker: Homosexuality is unnatural and you have to have, just like you had to have the Jim Crow laws to keep the races apart, you have to have these laws and diversity trainings and constant propaganda to keep it going.

MassResistance Says America's 'Worldwide Homosexual Terror Group' will bring about 'Brutal Oppression'

Recently, Brian Camenker has been in the news over his involvement in robocalls through a new group called “Jews and Christians Together” that urge Republicans to “vote for social sanity and Rick Santorum, NOT for homosexuality and Mitt Romney.” But Camenker’s principal organization, MassResistance, is still operating and releasing new, rabidly anti-gay “reports” like their memo on the State Department’s new push to stop anti-LGBT violence and discrimination abroad.

MassResistance dubs the initiative a “worldwide homosexual terror group” and maintains it “will lead to increasingly brutal oppression against people with traditional values both in America and around the world” along with “sleazy and quasi-legal destabilizing and harassing activities in foreign countries.” The memo also lambastes a transgender employee at the U.S. Embassy in Romania who commended changes that made the State Department a more open environment for transgender staffers.

The Obama administration has announced that it is taking the unbelievable role of pushing the homosexual agenda around the world and punishing countries that don't comply.

Back in July, MassResistance reported how the Pakistanis angrily denounced the US Embassy's open homosexual parties as "cultural terrorism." Well, that was just the beginning.

Now, foreign countries which seek to protect their citizens against homosexuality and the homosexual movement will be actively confronted by America's State Department, foreign service, and other federal departments, according to a Presidential Memorandum released by the Obama Administration announced on Dec. 6.

Unless countries around the world subordinate their own social and religious values to U.S. demands that they embrace homosexuality and the homosexual movement, they can expect interference from the US government in their internal affairs and punishment -- using foreign aid and in international commerce, trade, banking, travel restrictions, and the like.

Mirroring the homosexual lobby's (and the Left's) traditional tactics, Obama is characterizing this as a "civil rights" quest for homosexuality and transgenderism.

In the memo, Obama declares that America will be targeting foreign countries having laws or customs which "criminalize LGBT status," don't allow LGBT pride celebrations, or allow other "discrimination" against homosexual or transgender behavior. Obama also repeats the homosexual lobby's mantra that there is widespread violence and murder against "men, women, and children for their perceived sexual orientation" causing him to act, but he does not give any specifics.

Take another look the list of federal agencies involved, and the vehemence of the Obama administration on this. Make no mistake about it. This will lead to increasingly brutal oppression against people with traditional values both in America and around the world.

Starting a worldwide homosexual terror group?

As she said, this $3 million is "to start the fund."

Look for enormous funding to come from various far-left government and private sources. This is quite frightening, because these radical groups can be used to perpetrate all kinds of sleazy and quasi-legal destabilizing and harassing activities in foreign countries that US government agencies can't do so easily.

Christian Publisher Promotes Hate Group's Anti-Gay, Pro-Santorum Robocalls

Some anti-Romney conservative Christians are pulling out the stops to try to stop his momentum on Super Tuesday. Steve Strang, the publisher of Charisma, a magazine and online media outlet for Pentecostal Christians, sent his email followers a “Super Tuesday” message urging Christians to rally voters for Rick Santorum:  “This race is so close that Bible-believing Christians CAN MADE A DIFFERENCE and help Santorum get the momentum to win the nomination and then the general election.”

Strang says Santorum is “squeaky clean” while Romney is a Mormon flip-flopper and Gingrich has a “deep character flaw.”

Strang also promotes anti-gay, anti-Romney, pro-Santorum robocalls being made in Ohio by anti-gay extremist Brian Camenker of MassResistance, designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, and others under the name Jews and Christians Together.  Here’s the call script:

Hi, my name is Brian Camenker; I'm a Jew from Massachusetts.

And, this is Darcy Brandon; I'm a Christian from California. If you believe as we do that marriage and sexuality should only be between a man and a woman, please help us stop Mitt Romney.

As Governor, Romney signed 'Gay Youth Pride Day' proclamations, promoted homosexuality in our elementary schools, and unconstitutionally ordered state officals to make Massachusetts America's first same-sex marriage state. Romney supports open homosexuality in the military, the appointment of homosexual judges, and the ENDA law, making it illegal to fire a man who wears a dress and high heels to work, even if he's your kid's teacher. When you vote tomorrow, please vote for social sanity and Rick Santorum, NOT for homosexuality and Mitt Romney.

Rick Santorum is the ONLY candidate who can be trusted to uphold traditional marriage, a straight military, and the rights of American children to have both a mother and a father. This message paid for by Jews and Christians Together.org and not authorized by any candidate. To get the facts before you vote, visit Jews and Christians Together.org.

The Jews and Christians Together website is basically a one-pager linking to attacks on Romney by Camenker’s group MassResistance, information the group says was emailed to over a million Ohio residents on Sunday.  A press release about the robocalls quotes religious bigotry promoter Gary Cass, who produces videos attacking Obama’s faith and has attacked Mormonism for its "hostility to Christianity."  From the Jews and Christians Together press release:

Brian Camenker, president of Mass Resistance and compiler of much of that Romney research and one of the robo-call voices said, "Mitt Romney would be the most liberal Republican ever nominated for the Presidency. Romney is so far left, he spoke against the right of the Boy Scouts to screen-out homosexuals. Mitt Romney proved during the January 8 Meet the Press debate that he's still as far left on the gay agenda as always. He proudly announced, 'a member of my cabinet was gay. I appointed people to the bench regardless of their sexual orientation.' Asked when he last stood up and spoke out for increasing gay rights, Romney said 'Right now.'"

Dr. Gary Cass, president of DefendChristians.org and a member of Jews & Christians Together.org said, "We believe Rick Santorum is the only viable alternative to Romney. All Jews and Christians are aware that the Bible, from the Jewish Books of Moses to the Christian Gospels to the epistles of Saint Paul, commands God's faithful to love the sinner but hate the sin, and indeed to recognize homosexuality as sin. Romney, on the other hand, endorses homosexuality as a good choice for young people."

AFTAH and Allies ask God to 'Destroy' the 'Nazi' Southern Poverty Law Center

Americans For Truth About Homosexuality held a rally last week against the Southern Poverty Law Center with AFTAH president Peter LaBarbera, Liberty Counsel deputy Matt Barber and North Carolina marriage equality opponent Patrick Wooden for labeling groups like AFTAH “anti-gay hate groups.” Among the other “pro-family leaders” at the press conference included Rochelle Conner, a representative of Scott Lively’s Abiding Truth Ministries, who read a statement from Lively calling for “God himself to destroy” the SPLC:

My prayer as one who really does hate irrational prejudice is that the Lord by His sovereign power will remove this dangerous, hate-spreading organization from our nation and its leaders and its members cause them to repent of their wickedness. Finally, to prevent the Southern Poverty Law Center from using my prayer as part of its perpetual fundraising campaign, I want to make clear that I am asking God himself to destroy their organization and I am asking that it be by His miraculous hand and not by human beings just so as with Sodom and Gomorrah, they will know that God will get the glory, and not man.

Conner later claimed that the SPLC should now be called the “Southern Poverty Hate Center” as it has “now become a tool of the God-haters”:

The Southern Poverty Law Center has willfully, knowingly slandered, maligned, libeled Scott Lively, Abiding Truth Ministries, they have spread malicious lies in an attempt to undermine and destroy his credibility because as a leading authority on the homosexual agenda he exposes their villainy. The Southern Poverty Law Center has now become a tool of the God-haters, promoting hatred in the form of vicious lies against Christianity. The Southern Poverty Law Center has abandoned its mission of serving and protecting minorities and has evolved into the Southern Poverty Hate Center.

Peter LaBarbera read a statement from Brian Camenker of MassResistance, who portrayed the SPLC as Nazis for working “to dehumanize groups of people, twist the truth, and foment hatred”:

The Southern Poverty Law Center loves to use Nazi imagery to incite people against Bible-believing Jews and Christians. It’s extremely offensive but also very ironic. In the 1930s and the 1940s, the Nazis themselves used many of the same techniques that the SPLC use today to dehumanize groups of people, twist the truth, and foment hatred against those with traditional values through propaganda campaigns and also by working through governments, schools and police departments. I am surely here with you in spirit and so are thousands of others across America, all good people must fearlessly stand against this.

Another one of the “pro-family leaders” at AFTAH’s press conference included Timothy Johnson of the Fredrick Douglass Foundation, a right-wing group which targets African Americans. Sarah Posner writes in AlterNet about Johnson’s history of domestic violence, and he was convicted of aggravated assault in 1996. Johnson tried to explain away the charges with a supportive letter from his ex-wife, who claimed that he fabricated the letter:

According to court records, Johnson was arrested on Christmas Day 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio, and was later indicted by a grand jury for two felony counts, one of felonious assault and the other of kidnapping. According to the arrest report, when the police arrived, they found Felix-Johnson bleeding from the face. Timothy Johnson told the officers, according to their report, "I admit it. I hit her, that's the only way I can get her attention." Felix-Johnson told the officers he restrained her on the couch, holding down her neck. One officer reports Ofelia Felix-Johnson saying that Johnson also punched her breasts, saying that she had no heart, and hit her over the back and buttocks with a plastic shoe rack, breaking the rack. The police report in the court file states that Johnson broke his wife's nose and toes, causing her to be hospitalized.

AlterNet obtained documentation of a second incident when police were called to intervene in a domestic conflict at the home of Timothy Johnson and Ofelia Felix-Johnson. Land records show the couple purchased a house in Perrysburg, Ohio, in March 1997. In 1998, Johnson was arrested by the Perrysburg Police, again on domestic violence charges. According to the police report, Johnson provided a "very similar" account of the incident to that his wife Ofelia and 14-year-old son gave police. Both wife and son reported that Johnson had Ofelia Felix-Johnson in a wrist lock, and when the son attempted to stop Johnson from hurting his mother, Johnson put the son in a head lock such that he was "unable to breathe and was choking up food," according to the police report. After the son broke free, the police report continues, Johnson "put his right hand around [the boy's] throat and pushed [him] against the wall with his back to the wall and choked [the boy] for about 5 seconds."

MassResistance: Boston Red Sox Should Withdraw, Apologize For 'It Gets Better' Video

The vehemently anti-gay Massachusetts-based group MassResistance is now going after the Boston Red Sox for making a video against teen suicide and bullying, particularly bullying directed at LGBT children. MassResistance is led by Brian Camenker, who once said that anti-bullying efforts are part of a “very aggressive, fascist type of movement” of “homosexual activists.” The group attacked the Red Sox for endorsing the efforts of The Trevor Project and the It Gets Better Project, suicide-prevention groups that focus on LGBT youth, and accused them of being “supportive of the homosexual agenda or at best indifferent to how it affects children, their families, or society”:

The site itself and its companion site lead kids to homosexual pornography and homosexual groups with a history of targeting kids with graphic homosexual material. Far from "helping" troubled kids, these sites would add considerably to their psychological and medical trauma.

But worse, the Boston Red Sox are helping the radical homosexual movement push their depraved agenda on troubled kids, many of whom probably need real help. They seem fine with that. By any rational measure, this is simply evil.

As we've pointed out, things ain't like they used to be. Today's Red Sox players, staff, and management are largely liberals who support the general left-wing agenda. Many of them are multi-millionaires who hang out with glitzy liberals and are disconnected with average parents trying to raise their kids. They are likely supportive of the homosexual agenda or at best indifferent to how it affects children, their families, or society.

Brian Camenker wrote in a letter [pdf] to the team that the “real victims are the vulnerable kids who come to them for help” and that the Red Sox should take down the video and “issue an apology to the public”:

Perhaps you did not sufficiently look into these before you got involved with them. The “It Gets Better” project bills itself as an anti-bullying and anti-suicide effort. But in fact it does practically nothing legitimate in that regard, and instead serves as a conduit for kids to extremely objectionable and outrageous homosexual activism.

Neither Dan Savage nor anyone else closely associated with “It Gets Better” appears to have any legitimate qualifications for working with kids, and certainly not for dealing with the behavioral and psychological issues surrounding suicide. They are simply homosexual activists. The real victims are the vulnerable kids who come to them for help.

But possible even more disturbing is “The Trevor Project,” which the Red Sox video specifically leads kids to. It is purportedly a website of “resources” for kids to go to for “crisis intervention.” These “resources” tend to be homosexual activist organizations and other materials intended to normalize homosexuality, transgenderism, sadomasochism, and other extremely destructive behaviors in the minds of troubled kids. These are clearly designed by homosexual activists, not any kind of legitimate medical professionals.

I would urge you to immediately remove the video, disassociate yourself with this entire sordid “project,” and issue an apology to the public.

Religious Right Activists Warn GOP Not To Nominate Mitt Romney

Right-wing activist and former California legislator Steve Baldwin has organized an open letter to “Conservative, Catholic and Evangelical Leaders” asking them to refuse support for Mitt Romney’s campaign for president. Already a number of activists including failed US Senate candidate and Tea Party hero Joe Miller; Rick Scarborough of Vision America; Brian Camenker of MassResistance; Linda Harvey of Mission America; Michael Farris of the Home School Legal Defense Association; Ted Beahr of WND and Movieguide; Gary Glenn of American Family Association-Michigan, Kelly Shackleford of the Liberty Institute; Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation; Floyd Brown of WND; Dick and Richard Bott of Bott Family Radio, and the leaders of a number of anti-choice groups have signed the letter.

The letter says that “a Romney candidacy would be disastrous for the conservative movement and for the country,” writing that he is insincere in his conservative beliefs and “continues to support many aspects of the homosexual agenda even today.” The activists claim that “the flatly illegal charade of ‘gay’ marriage exists solely in Massachusetts due to Governor Romney’s illegal actions,” and lists numerous other issues including abortion rights and health care reform where Romney has reversed himself: “Romney has also been both in favor and against minimum wage legislation, capital gains taxes, gun control, amnesty for illegal aliens, campaign finance reform, the Kyoto agreement, gambling, gun control, and many other issues.”

They conclude by warning that nominating Romney “would be a disastrous mistake”:

Most disturbing is the key role Mitt Romney played in accelerating two of the greatest threats to our Judeo-Christian culture and free enterprise system: Homosexual marriage and government control of health care. In both instances, the actions Romney took – or didn’t take – on homosexual marriage and RomneyCare have done lasting damage to our country. Romney’s aggressive efforts to implement the unconstitutional Goodridge decision set a precedent which inspired pro-homosexual marriage activity nationwide, and his RomneyCare bill served as the model for ObamaCare, the biggest lurch toward socialism since the New Deal.

As such, Romney has done more damage to America in his four years as Governor than any Democrat officeholder we can think of. But Romney, to this day, defends his actions on both fronts and sincerely believes he has done nothing wrong, an attitude which only raises additional questions about his fitness for national office. We must question his worldview, his sincerity, and his judgment. We believe the election of Mitt Romney would be a disastrous mistake for the conservative movement and for the country.

MassResistance is celebrating the approval of harsh anti-gay legislation in Nigeria and Russia, and even blaming gay rights advocates for a brutal attack they suffered in Moscow. The group cited an Associated Press article about the Russian bill, which bans gay “propaganda” and gay rights material, and a vicious attack against opponents who were staging a “kissing rally”: Before the vote, gay rights activists attempted to hold a "kissing rally" outside the State Duma, located across the street from Red Square in central Moscow, but they were attacked by... But the anti-gay group MassResistance is quite pleased and praised Nigeria for “taking bold steps to fight back” against attempts “to subvert public morality.”... MORE >
