Right-wing preacher Lance Wallnau prides himself on being one of the few evangelical leaders who supported Donald Trump almost from the very beginning of his presidential campaign, claiming to have heard directly from God when he boldly prophesied that Trump would win the White House at a time when nobody thought that he had any chance of success.
Last month, Wallnau issued another bold prophesy when he declared that based on his reading of the Bible, there would be a “hemorrhaging of information” by June 6 that would expose “the entire deep state intrigue” against Trump.
Based on a passage from the Book of Esther in which King Ahasuerus ordered Mordecai to issue a decree in the king’s name giving the Jews the right to destroy the forces that had been assembled to attack them by Haman, Wallnau proclaimed that the same thing was about to happen to Trump’s enemies.
In Esther, “the king’s scribes were summoned … in the third month, which is the month of Sivan, on the twenty-third day” to write out Mordecai’s orders, which Wallnau said translated into June 6 on the Gregorian calendar.
“Between now and June 6, we’re going to see the unraveling of the entire deep state intrigue,” Wallnau said on May 24, asserting that God had told him that there would be a “cascade” of information exposing the fact that President Obama was involved in spying on the Trump campaign. “It’s going to happen.”
Walnau repeated this prophecy multiple times, declaring on May 25 that “there will be massive disclosures, a virtual hemorrhaging of information” by June 6 that would fully expose the deep state’s plot against Trump, and declaring again on June 3 that there would be “a major breakthrough” by June 6, asserting that “Haman’s gallows needs to have some people swinging on it .. because they should be hung by their own tongue.”
Wallnau’s deadline passed several days ago and nothing that he prophesied has come true.
