Right-wing commentator Josh Bernstein posted a video last night in which he declared that Democratic members of Congress should be arrested and tried for treason for refusing to fund President Trump’s proposed border wall, making them the newest group to be added to his never-ending list of people he wants to see charged with treason.
“It is purely political,” he said. “This has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that these scumbags—and that’s what I’ll call them—that will not fund our southern border, it’s all about [not] giving Trump his victory. That’s what this is, prevent President Trump from getting his victory by any means possible.”
“These people are lower than pond scum,” Bernstein continued. “They are in violation of their oath of office. They should be arrested and charged for treason for not upholding the Constitution and supporting the Constitution and the right to protect the citizens of the United States.”
Bernstein said that he hopes that Trump “gives the middle finger to Congress and tells them to go jump off a bridge and declares a state of emergency and funds this damn wall once and for all.”
