Wayne Allyn Root Vows He’ll ‘Own The Washington Post’ Once It’s Proven ISIS Was Responsible For Vegas Massacre

From the moment news broke of the mass shooting in Las Vegas earlier this month, right-wing commentator, conspiracy theorist and Donald Trumpobsessed sycophant Wayne Allyn Root has insisted that the massacre was a “clearly coordinated Muslim terror attack.”

Despite being unable to produce any evidence to substantiate that claim, Root continues to insist that the shooting was an ISIS attack and has been endlessly promoting any piece of information that he believes supports his theory. On his radio program yesterday, Root lashed out at media outlets that have reported on that fact that he has been spreading false information about the attack and vowed to sue them once it is definitively proven that ISIS was responsible.

“ISIS, their fingerprints were all over this thing,” he said. “This is what I said from the first second and GQ and the Washington Post and Slate magazine and Time magazine and 20 others tried to destroy me and wipe my career off the face of the earth. It really didn’t matter—I gave them the middle finger and told them to go screw themselves because I don’t care what they think.”

“I have nothing to worry about so I laugh in their liberal commie faces, their liberal commie Muslim-sympathizer faces,” Root continued. “Screw you! Come and get me. Screw you.”

“They tried to destroy me,” Root added, “and if it turns out to be ISIS, you better all lawyer up because we’re coming after you with the best lawyer gunslingers in the world. I’ll be hiring Donald Trump’s lawyers to come after you and destroy you. I will own the Washington Post [for] the way you tried to slander me when all I did was report the truth.”
