Glenn Beck covered Donald Trump’s presidential announcement live on his radio broadcast yesterday, playing Trump’s speech while he and his co-hosts relentlessly mocked the reality TV star as an utter clown and a buffoonish egomaniac.
Beck’s derision toward Trump did not sit well with Trump supporters in his listening audience and today, several of them called into Beck’s radio show to blast him for not supporting the real estate mogul’s candidacy. But Beck was unmoved, declaring that “Donald Trump is the most arrogant man I have ever seen” and the “biggest flaming [ass] that you could possibly imagine.”
Beck said that he might run for president as well, just to highlight what a joke Trump’s campaign is and how he is nothing but an “embarrassment.”
After co-host Stu Burguiere warned that allowing Trump to actually participate in Republican presidential debates would be a total catastrophe because Trump would just turn them into an utter circus, Beck said that it is people like Trump who make voters think that the Republican Party is nothing but a group of idiots.
“Donald Trump coming in and doing this to the Republicans is going to make all of us look ridiculous,” Beck said. “Anybody who is a conservative, we are going to look absolutely like clowns. It’s just a shame.”
