Frank Amedia, the former Trump campaign adviser who launched the POTUS Shield network of Trump-promoting Pentecostal leaders immediately after the 2016 election, put out a call to prayer for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday. Amedia and his POTUS Shield colleagues have prophesied and prayed that God would create multiple Supreme Court vacancies for Trump to fill.
From Amedia’s Tuesday afternoon email:
Dear Warriors, Watchmen and Worshipers:
You might recall that on November 9, 2016, at 3:30 a.m. just after the conclusion of the election of Donald Trump as our President, I received and proclaimed a vision that imparted the assignment to inaugurate Potus Shield. I published this in writing, on television and on recorded videos. What I saw was a broom being swept up and down the front facade and columns of the Supreme Court building. This building is the seat of the Supreme Court of the United States and the third branch of government, the Judicial branch. As I inquired what I was to do, the Spirit clearly spoke to me that the Lord was going to sweep and TRANSFORM the federal court system, and that he would provide for three (3) new justices to be appointed on the court. He further declared that He would shake up the lower federal court systems and shift this tainted judicial structure from bottom to top. I also received that He would change our country’s trade laws and would also purge the trade judges. And I heard that this transformation would manifest in the first season of President Trump’s term.
Neil Gorsuch was the first Justice of the three to be seated. Now less than two years into President Trump’s first term, Brett Kavanaugh is nominated to be the second justice seated. And there is a third coming … we shall deal with that soon.
Now, at the onset of Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing, I have sought the Lord and asked Him what he would have us do. The Spirit spoke clearly to me to publish a call for a three-hour cyclical prayer and intercession participation, patterning the Eight Prayer watches, to support Brett Kavanaugh to be approved and seated on the Supreme Court.
Amedia’s email asked people to go to the POTUS Shield website to sign up for one or more three-hour shifts.
It is not the length of prayers on your watch, but more so that your heart is open to be led what to pray at that specific time. It may be impractical for you to set aside three hours at that time, but you can open your heart and commit to pray and be sensitive to the voice of the Lord during your watch.
Essentially, we are storming the Court of Heaven to affirm the Word of the Lord for the high court of this nation. As we are so doing, I pray your eyes “see” the stream of prayers that flow from around our country and other areas of the globe and the stream of Heavenly activity raining down in response upon our government. We are spanning the globe within different time zones and that will result in a steady stream of prayer and intercession being lifted up.
Your commitment is between you and the Lord. I know that many of you experience specific times of the day and evening that you are called to prayer. That has become your watch. Every watch has a purpose and we are all called according to His plans and purposes.
We make no apologies for our pleading that the killing of unborn children and the sanctity of life is our first and foremost cause. It is our prayer that we return to our foundation as one nation under God, and that the God we worship and acknowledge is identified in our Judea-Christian [sic] holy scriptures.
Here’s how Amedia described the different shifts:
First watch – 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.
The evening watch: is the foundation of the prayer watch cycles and is the beginning of the watches. It is contemplative and reflects on the day. This watch prays for alignment with the plans of God, seeks direction for tomorrow, renews covenants with God, and declares decrees to release blessings for the new day. Much of the occult activates in darkness. This watch prays to expose curses and plots before they manifest. Worshippers set the atmosphere for the night watches.
SECOND WATCH – 9:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M.
This is a mobilization watch and takes point to pierce the darkness. Intercessors take the initiative to preempt the plans & strategies of the enemy. We pray to arrest and dismantle the diabolical assignments from the enemy. God prepares to deal with the enemies that are trying to derail his plans. Watchmen discern and declare.
THIRD WATCH – 12:00 A.M. – 3:00 A.M.
The Day-break watch: is the darkest and most demonic period. Witches, warlocks, satanists and anti- christ spirits make their moves while people are entering into deep sleeps. Shields are down and they strike. Warriors employ their spiritual armor and weapons, boldly tearing down strongholds, dismantling satanic attacks, and attacking evil forces fearlessly in the power of God. This time is active with dreams. Warriors are vigilant and declare & strike with force.
FOURTH WATCH – 3:00 A.M. – 6:00 A.M.
The last night watch: sets the atmosphere as we transition from the dark of the night into morning. We reclaim territory which was hijacked by the enemy, we decree prosperity and favor, energy, health and unity to set the day before it begins. This is the launching pad to lift off and ask the Lord to go before us. Worshippers and watchmen tirelessly activate with mature faith.
FIFTH WATCH – 6:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M.
Morning breaks with a burst: schedules the pattern of the day, sets the tone, yields peace, tones the moods, gathers momentum, and moves out to accomplish the plans and purposes of God that have been initiated. This is the appropriate time to resist and turn back backlash of the enemy and evil doers. Praise, worship, decrees, are released by the Worshippers and Watchmen.
SIXTH WATCH – 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
Time to operate: is the time of provision, receiving resources, collect assets, move in assignments, perform duties. We pray for the energy, wisdom, resourcefulness, authority, and fortitude to stand, withstand, and take dominion. Warriors, Worshippers and Watchmen pause and move in a spirit of unity and loyalty to the plans and purposes of God.
SEVENTH WATCH – 12:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.
Enter into Rest: seek the Lord and you will find Him. Enter into the secret place of the Most High take comfort from the heat of the day under the shadow of the Almighty. The enemy attempts to move, assuming his preys are wearing down, that their vigilance is dulled. We resist temptation and spring the snares and traps of the enemy. We sustain and will not be moved by fear, threats, surprises, or failures. We stand and then stand even stronger. The Body of Christ is linking arms to not waiver. Warriors, Worshippers and Watchmen are renewed, refreshed, and restored.
EIGHT WATCH – 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Rejoice and seek closure: this is the watch to be sure that you are ending one day and entering into the next cycle of watches humbly, dead to self, confident that all things are working for good, no matter what, according to Gods purposes; declare authority to proceed without losing any gains and praise God for what He has done and rejoice in His favor. Warriors, Worshippers and Watchmen are committed to settling in with ordered form, function and fashion.
