End Times

Five Moments From 2014 That Definitely Were A Sign Of The End Times

What better way to criticize your political opponents than by accusing them of creating an oppressive government that will lead to the coming of the Antichrist and fulfill biblical prophecy on the Last Days?

Warning about the imminent end of the world may seem extreme, but it is a great way for media personalities, politicians and activists to rile up and instill fear in their base. Whether such arguments are purely cynical or genuine, in 2014 many conservative pundits cited the End Times to back up their denunciations of everything from gay rights to the so-called ‘War on Christmas.’

The Obama Presidency

After leaving Congress, Michele Bachmann hopes to become a major conservative voice on foreign policy issues. Among her qualifications, apparently, is her knowledge of the End Times. Bachmann has warned that the Bible prophesied the president’s foreign policy decisions, arguing that Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry are “calling for actual war and economic war against Israel, or at least suggesting it as such.”

“The nations of the world will come against Israel, and the scripture very specifically says all nations. Now for the United States, we don’t have that experience until recently under President Obama with the United States not standing with Israel,” Bachmann said in an interview with Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council, adding that the Jewish community “sold out Israel” in order to “support the political priority and the political ambitions of the president.”

Pat Robertson became so concerned with Obama’s term in office that he called on “700 Club” viewers to “pray to be delivered from this president,” warning that America will face “serious decline unless something dramatic is done about it.” Televangelist Matthew Hagee feared that Obamacare would condition people to accept “the kind of global dictatorship that is described in the End Times” and take on the Mark of the Beast.

Pastor Franklin Graham suggested that God will bless Russia thanks to Vladimir Putin’s leadership while removing His favor from America as a result of administration policies that are “pushing the gay-lesbian agenda.” “Our president and his attorney general have turned their backs on God and His standards, and many in the Congress are following the administration’s lead,” Graham said.

Pastor Mark Creech, who is affiliated with the American Family Association, wrote a column for the Christian Post implying that Obama is the Antichrist who will surface “in the last days – the day before Christ's return.”

Radio host Rick Wiles dedicated an entire show with Jonathan Wright to discussing how the “Bible Code” proves Obama is the Antichrist and even offered the strongest evidence yet that Obama is either the Antichrist or his forerunner: a fly once landed on him.

Ebola

Following the lead of Republican politicians who cynically turned the Ebola outbreak in West Africa into a campaign issue, only to have their incendiary rhetoric about Ebola (and Ebola-tainted urine) subside after the Fall election, many conservative pundits and pastors used Ebola to stoke fear about imminent dictatorship, divine punishment and the end of the world as we know it.

Televangelist John Hagee told viewers that the Ebola virus is God’s way of showing his anger with President Obama’s foreign policies, while his son Matthew Hagee suggested that the Bible pointed to Ebola as a sign of the End Times. Another televangelist, Jim Bakker, offered a special discount on survival food items, including desserts, in case Ebola and other calamities bring down the country.

The doomsday prophet Glenn Beck — who raised fears about Nigerian prison guards possibly spreading Ebola to Texas and suggested that Obama doesn’t mind Texans contracting Ebola since it is a conservative state — was pretty sure that the Ebola outbreak is the beginning of God’s judgment on the country and America’s imminent collapse.

Several GOP members of Congress issued claims that Obama will intentionally infect Americans with the virus, while others made completely baseless allegations that Ebola-infected immigrants are descending upon America.

WorldNetDaily, a bastion of right-wing conspiracy theories, at different times alleged that Obama wanted Ebola to spread throughout the country in order to justify his purported plans to establish gulags, lock Americans in FEMA camps and declare martial law.

Far-right radio hosts alleged that Obama wanted to “round up patriots,” ban churches and aid Ebola-infected ISIS fighters, and one Fox News personality said Obama hoped to use Ebola to make America “suffer” while helping his African brethren. One prominent right-wing radio broadcaster, Janet Parshall, said God used Ebola as a “warning” because “he is a gentleman.”

Of course, gay people were also to blame. “Trunews” host Rick Wiles said God will use Ebola to give gays and others an “attitude adjustment,” and pastor Ron Baity, who worked with the Family Research Council to champion his state’s ban on marriage equality, said homosexuality is responsible for the Ebola outbreak since it is “bringing the judgment of God on this nation.”

Gays Rights Victories

Ebola, it turns out, was just one way that gay people, along with supporters of gay rights, tried to usher in the global calamities leading up to the End Times.

Deryl Edwards of Liberty Counsel pointed to growing acceptance of gay Christians as a sign that we are “in the Last Days.” Mission America’s Linda Harvey claimed marriage equality is one reason why “we’re heading into the End Times, and it sure looks like we may be, or the end of America — or both.” Michael Bresciani of the Christian Post said God will use terrorist attacks to punish the country for accepting gay rights. Pastor Flip Benham maintained that homosexuality “destroys those who practice it and nations that approve of it.” Rick Wiles predicted that gay rights will lead to an all-out nuclear war.

Southern Baptist megachurch pastor Dwight McKissic said athlete Michael Sam’s decision to come out of the closet shows that “the spirit of Sodom would be prevalent and prominent in the end time,” since, McKissic claims, “the Anti-Christ would be a homosexual, or certainly unmarried.”

“This is the moral issue of the End Times,” pastor Scott Lively said of homosexuality, lamenting in a radio show interview that “it’s just astonishing how rapidly they are proceeding in homosexualizing the whole world.”

Addressing the National Organization for Marriage’s Washington D.C. rally, Mike Huckabee said that “there is no doubt in my mind” that the U.S. “will feel His hand of judgment” if the courts strike down bans on same-sex marriage. Another speaker at the event, pastor and Pennsylvania politician Sam Rohrer, predicted that the legalization of same-sex marriage will “destroy the very fabric of our nation,” “invite God’s judgment” and “remove His blessing from our nation.”

Televangelist Pat Robertson — who had a banner year of blasting gay people as “terrorists” and demonic — marked Thanksgiving by warning that gay rights are “sowing the seeds” of America’s “destruction.”

Abortion Rights

Not only did we learn this year that the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade was responsible for America’s withdrawal from Vietnam, but the landmark ruling is also apparently paving the way for the Last Days.

“The Response: Louisiana,” the upcoming Baton Rouge prayer rally hosted by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and sponsored by the American Family Association, republished materials from its 2012 Houston event featuring Texas Gov. Rick Perry that blamed abortion rights and homosexuality for natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and for contributing to America’s “ultimate destruction.” (After the materials caused controversy, organizers removed them from their website). Mike Huckabee similarly warned in a speech reflecting on the Holocaust that abortion rights and marriage equality will lead to the collapse of civilization.

Michael Bresciani assured Christian Post readers that the deleterious effects of climate change actually have nothing to do with the environment at all. Instead, Bresciani writes, incidents of extreme weather are just “‘birth pangs’ for a planet about to meet its creator” as legal abortion, along with homosexuality, brings “the antichrist to his short lived rule over a reprobate and dying world.”

In a column published on BarbWire, Bresciani claimed that “gay marriage and abortion, Obama’s preferred social causes, are antichrist in nature,” warning that the “Bible says that when a nation chooses to ignore its sinfulness, God will not only allow them to go reprobate, but will empower them with rulers who will enable them to succeed in their drive to destruction.”

End Times preacher Jonathan Cahn linked abortion rights and same-sex marriage to the September 11 terrorist attacks and a looming “great shaking” from God, and the Oak Initiative said legal abortion led to “the alien invasion” on America’s southern border as “a sign of divine judgment.”

Joel Rosenberg, a prominent Religious Right author who focuses his work on End Times scenarios, told Pat Robertson that legal abortion has turned the U.S. into a worse country than Nazi Germany, warning viewers: “We know the judgment that came on Nazi Germany, and we feel like it was correct, it was just. What do we think is going to happen?”

The War on Christmas

Conservative activists often celebrate Christmas by claiming that they are being persecuted by store clerks and neighbors who dare to say “Happy Holidays” as part of the annual "War on Christmas."

A distraught Franklin Graham warned “the war on Christmas is a war on Christ and His followers” and described it as a satanic plot that may one day lead to violent anti-Christian persecution.

A Renew America columnist said the “war on Christmas” and “the growing disrespect and outright mocking of one of Christianity’s holiest days” is linked to biblical prophecies about the End Times: “While Christians in other nations like Iraq, China, and Iran are being murdered in the most gruesome of ways for their faith in Jesus Christ, America allows Him to be mocked and ridiculed. What kind of people have we become to allow this travesty? God's Word says that ‘in the Last Days, scoffers will come, mocking the truth and following their own desires.’ (2 Pe. 3:3 NLT).”

“Friends, what we are seeing is the reason America is not mentioned as a world power in Bible end times prophecy,” writes J.P. Sloane in the far-right outlet BarbWire. “As America continues to travel down the Paganistic heathen slope of perversions—and atheists attacking Christians and Jews—while Muslims are celebrating their holidays in the very capital of our country—yes in our very own White House—Christmas—a legal American holiday—is under attack on a regular annual basis!”

Christian Anti-Defamation Commission President Gary Cass told radio host Jerry Newcombe of Truth in Action Ministries that “the spirit of Antichrist” is behind the mythical War on Christmas.

End Times Preacher's Chanukah Message: Gay Rights & Harry Potter Lead To Fascism

Messianic End Times rabbi Jonathan Cahn, a favorite doomsday preacher among right-wing activists, told WorldNetDaily in an interview today that Chanukah is a time for Americans to reflect on the purported dangers of books like Harry Potter, as well as gay rights laws, which he warned will outlaw the Bible.

According to Cahn, the struggle of the Maccabees is seen today in American society among those who oppose secular government, LGBT equality, the so-called War on Christmas and the country’s transformation into “a post-Christian society” that will ultimately “produce a Hitler or a Stalin, and the antichrist.”

Cahn urged WND readers to become modern-day Maccabees who will fight gay rights and Harry Potter even “if it costs us our life.”

“We are living in such times,” Cahn said. “Believers, if you are a true believer, you’re going to be a thorn in the side of the world. We are already witnessing it. There is a spirit of antichrist in the world.”

Suddenly Christmas becomes taboo. It gets changed to a winter recess. Manger scenes spark lawsuits by atheists, and courts rule in favor of the atheists.

“Did anyone think years ago a manger scene would be controversial?” Cahn asks. “And things that were considered abominations are no longer controversial.”

“So there’s a war going on against anything that’s linked to God, particularly Messiah. There’s a spirit of antichrist that wars against anything, any tradition of the natural order,” Cahn said. “Amazing really.”

“What has been recognized for thousands of years, as long as man’s recorded history, all of a sudden in the last few years man is changing it,” he continued. “Like marriage, like male and female, of course. This is the spirit of antichrist.”

He sees America as morphing into a replica of Europe, which is a post-Christian society. “What happened in Europe is happening here, that a nation that existed only because of God is now changing and trying to eradicate God,” Cahn said.

“A pre-Christian society will produce someone like an Alexander the Great or a Caesar,” Cahn said. “A post-Christian society will produce a Hitler or a Stalin, and the antichrist.”

The spirit of antichrist seeks to remove God from every corner of the culture. The Bible and prayer were removed from schools in 1960s. The Ten Commandments were later removed from courthouses, a process that continues. “Hate laws” have been passed in many cities making it a crime to say anything that paints homosexuality in a negative light.

“What that means is that the Bible then becomes a criminal offense,” Cahn said. “They’re not daring to enforce the implications of these laws but it’s there, it’s just the beginning, but they will.”

More recent Hollywood productions targeting young people are likely to feature blatantly unbiblical themes.

“What is the biggest thing in youth movies? It’s ‘Harry Potter.’ There are many youth who have gone into the occult because of ‘Harry Potter,’” Cahn said. “But the other thing about it, there is no God there. It’s a godless universe filled with witchcraft and man nullifying God.”

This is the kind of cultural rot that the Maccabees resisted.

So Hanukkah unlocks a mystery here because it gives the end time picture of a spirit behind the age, links it to Zeus, which is the same god or spirit behind the origin of Europe, the same god that was behind the war against Israel in Hanukkah, the war against the saints in Revelation, the same god that desecrated the temple – Zeus.

“Of course it’s not Zeus, he doesn’t exist,” Cahn said. “It’s a deeper spirit of another god the bible says the god of this world, who appears in many forms, whose name is Satan.” It’s this same satanic spirit that will war against the saints in the end times.

The culture of the Greeks at the time of the Maccabees was a culture filled with sexual perversity, Cahn said.

This crept into Israel. The culture of the end times will be no different, with the same sins creeping into the church.

The Maccabees fought with that same spirit.

“They said, ‘You know what, we don’t care about protecting ourselves anymore. We care about God’s way, and we’re going to live or die nobly. We’re going to go for it no matter what happens. We’re not going to compromise,’” Cahn said. “If it costs us our life, fine. We’re going to be free now. No fear! That’s the way you have to live.

Rick Wiles: Justice Ginsburg 'Is One Of The Most Wicked, Vile Human Beings On The Planet'

The last time Scott Lively appeared on “Trunews,” the right-wing pastor told host Rick Wiles that President Obama is the Antichrist (a claim he later denied, but ultimately conceded, making). In an interview yesterday, the two spent most of their time attacking gay rights and predicting that the Supreme Court will soon rule in favor of marriage equality.

Wiles warned that “corrupt, perverse judges” will soon declare that “multiple people in a marriage is constitutional,” and Lively said that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg already “telegraphed” the court’s intentions to strike down same-sex marriage bans once “society is ready for it.”

“She is one of the most wicked, vile human beings on the planet,” Wiles said.

“They’re going to rule against us, they’re going to rule for homosexual marriage, that might be the last straw for America, I don’t know, but God would have to apologize for Sodom and Gomorrah,” Lively said, before insisting that despite America’s imminent destruction he won’t leave the country “until the angel comes and grabs me by the hand.”

Russia, according to the two anti-gay pundits, may be their last hope to stop “the homosexual movement” and its backers in the “New World Order.”

Lively hoped that a “coalition of conservative nations led by Russia” will emerge to stand up to pro-gay “elitists,” who then in turn will try to “collapse the current economic system” until everyone succumbs to their gay, Marxist agenda.

Scott Lively: Homosexuality An 'Infection' That Kills Society

Scott Lively, an activist notorious for pushing anti-gay policies in countries like Uganda and Russia, appeared on “Trunews” yesterday, where he told host Rick Wiles that gay rights and the growing acceptance of homosexuality are going to destroy the U.S.

Lively called homosexuality an “infection” that society can only tolerate in small doses: “Society has an immune system also and we can allow a certain amount of this infection without collapsing.”

However, he warned, now America is experiencing the “forced participation in gay culture” and “punishment of all dissenters” is looming.

“The infrastructure of Judeo-Christian civilization in America has all but disappeared and we are in the end game, the radical left, the cultural Marxists are mopping up at this point,” he lamented.

Lively also referred to the U.S. as Mystery Babylon, spreading homosexuality to all the nations: “The sewer pipe of American perversion has poured out across the world, and all the rest of the world joining in whoredom essentially because of the United States.”

“Look at what President Obama has done in terms of the homosexual agenda, he has tasked the U.S. State Department to promote it across the entire world with a high level of priority,” Lively added.

He then explained why he thinks homosexuality jeopardizes a nation’s survival: “It’s a process of rottenness that eventually takes over, I was comparing it to the immune system of the body, if you stop eating healthy foods and eat nothing but junk food, you can survive for a while but after a while your body is going to break down.”

Wiles: Government Might 'Splice' Viruses To Create Army Of Zombie Cannibals

End Times broadcaster Rick Wiles has been sounding the alarm about municipal “zombie apocalypse” emergency preparedness drills, which he believes are a warning that the government is planning something big…like mass executions.

On his program yesterday, Wiles presented a new possible explanation for these zombie drills: that the government could be working to splice together viruses to make people “literally go insane” like the man in Florida who ate another man’s face. This is all, of course, a sign that the Last Days are upon us, according to Wiles.

Later in the program, Wiles spoke with Zach Taylor of the National Association of Former Border Patrol Agents, and asked him if the CDC’s handling of Ebola cases shows that “somebody is deliberately creating the environment for a pandemic inside the United States.”

Taylor said it could be even worse.

“They may be managing this media crisis to mask something they’re doing that’s more detrimental,” he said, suggesting that the government is drawing media coverage to Ebola cases to distract from an outbreak of Enterovirus D68, which Taylor and other anti-immigrant activists are baselessly blaming on Central American child migrants.

We aren’t sure how this squares with Taylor’s other Ebola conspiracy theory, which he repeated to Wiles, that the government “disappeared” a number of immigrants on the southern border over the summer who were infected with Ebola.

Jim Bakker: Enjoy Ice Cream Sandwiches While Everyone Else Is Dead

Much like his fellow doomsday prophet Glenn Beck, televangelist Jim Bakker regularly dedicates segments of his show to selling survivalist food supplies while warning of the country’s imminent peril. Last week, Bakker discussed the Ebola outbreak and other possible calamities, including a collapse of the electrical grid.

Bakker said that while “90-some percent of all Americans will be dead in less than a year” if such a breakdown occurs, you and your family will be secure if you take advantage of his special “time of trouble” offer to purchase packages containing between 91 and 273 desserts, including ice cream sandwiches, chocolates and pudding.

“Order your food, do it while there’s yet time,” he said in his sendoff message.

Stacy Swimp: Supreme Court Marriage Ruling Would Bring About Last Days

Anti-gay activist Stacy Swimp, a Michigan pastor, claimed last month that a Supreme Court ruling legalizing marriage equality throughout the country would bring America into the biblical Last Days.

If the Supreme Court were to issue a favorable marriage equality ruling, Swimp told Cleveland anti-gay activist Molly Smith in a September 23 interview, “I see America looking like what Jesus said the world looking like. He said, ‘As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son returns.’”

“You see,” he continued, “in Noah’s day, you had complete lawlessness, men did what was right in their own eyes, according to the Bible, and there were no moral boundaries that men respected. And so we are at the threshold in our global society.”

“If this happens to become law, you’re going to see complete chaos and lawlessness,” he said, adding that such a ruling would lead to “broken families” and “escalated crime.”

Later in the interview, Swimp argued that “homosexuality, lesbianism” is just “one component of lawlessness that we’re seeing in our society” and that the LGBT rights movement and “Islam and the global terrorism” are “working together to silence the gospel.”

He added that Christians are facing persecution in America today, while Muslims and Buddhists face none: “You don’t see Muslims, by the way, who disagree with marriage protection being persecuted in America. You don’t hear about Buddhists and all these other religions being persecuted while fighting for their religious freedom.”

“That’s right, it’s us as the Christians,” Smith agreed.

Michele Bachmann: The GOP's End Times 'Foreign Policy Expert'

Michele Bachmann has big plans for her career after Congress, and apparently that includes “looking to burnish her credentials as a foreign policy expert.”

As Politico reports today, the retiring Minnesota congressman is working with Rick Santorum and Tony Perkins in hopes of becoming “a female conservative foil” to Hillary Clinton.

The divisive four-term congresswoman is leaving Capitol Hill in January, but she has no intention of fading into post-congressional irrelevance.

Instead, the Minnesota Republican is fiercely courting media and speaking opportunities, likely in Washington, New York or Los Angeles, and looking to burnish her credentials as a foreign policy expert ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Her hope is to emerge as the “anti-Hillary,” a female conservative foil to likely Democratic presidential contender and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

But even critics have learned to underestimate Bachmann at their peril. To prepare for the post-congressional transition, Bachmann is working with conservative heavyweights like former GOP presidential contender Rick Santorum and Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council. She’s also working on softening her public persona by repeatedly hitting up television shows with younger audiences that focus on families.

Bachmann’s foreign policy views are, by her own admission, immensely shaped by her belief that the U.S. is living in the End Times.

Last year, after falsely claiming that President Obama was aiding Al Qaeda, Bachmann cited the non-existent aid to Al Qaeda as proof that “we are in God’s End Times history” and that “we need to rejoice, Maranatha come Lord Jesus, His day is at hand. When we see up is down and right is called wrong, when this is happening, we were told this; these days would be as the days of Noah. We are seeing that in our time.”

“These are the times of birth pangs, we’re seeing the intensity of age and the speed and rapidity that these events are starting to speed up so fast that we can hardly get our minds about it,” she said of the coming Last Days in another interview last year.

Bachmann believes that Obama’s Mideast policy was predicted by biblical passages about an End Times battle where the powers of the world align against Israel: “The nations of the world will come against Israel and the scripture very specifically says all nations, now for the United States we don’t have that experience until recently under President Obama with the United States not standing with Israel.”

She also contends that the Obama administration, especially the State Department under former Secretary of State Clinton, has experienced “deep penetration” by Muslim Brotherhood agents and as a result U.S. officials have “embraced the worldview aspirations of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

If Bachmann does decide to become a leading conservative voice on foreign affairs as a “foil” to Clinton, we shouldn’t forget that Bachmann sees the End Times struggle taking place today, and has already claimed that God is not on Clinton’s side:

Jonathan Cahn Links Legal Abortion To Vietnam War, 9/11

Jonathan Cahn, a messianic rabbi and End Times prophet who is a favorite among Religious Right activists and politicians , claimed in an interview last week that America’s defeat in the Vietnam War and the September 11 attacks were both the result of divine judgment linked to the legalization of abortion in 1973’s Roe v. Wade.

Cahn’s theories are based on the idea that major world events occur on “Shemitah” years, which fall every seven years on the Hebrew calendar, and are either positive or negative depending on God’s opinion of a nation at any given time. He has explained, for instance, that the September 11 attacks and the 2008 financial collapse both happened in “Shemitah” years, and that God allowed them to occur to send a warning to the United States about legal abortion and same-sex marriage.

In an interview on the show “Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural” last week, Cahn expounded on his theory that 9/11 was a punishment from God, and added a new idea: that America’s withdrawal from Vietnam was a warning from God about Roe v. Wade.

Rick Wiles: Gay Rights Will Turn America Into Antichrist Kingdom, Spark Nuclear Attack

On yesterday’s edition of “Trunews,” Rick Wiles spoke to televangelist Irvin Baxter about America’s role in the End Times war which, according to Baxter, will “kill one-third of mankind.”

Wiles, however, took issue with Baxter’s claim that Russia will join the “kingdom of the Antichrist,” which comes as no surprise since Wiles is a big fan of Vladimir Putin. In fact, he has his own idea for which country will lead the Antichrist kingdom: the United States.

“The country that’s acting like it’s part of the kingdom of the Antichrist is the United States of America, and Russia is standing against homosexual marriage, they’re standing for traditional family values,” Wiles said. “The United States is exporting its wickedness, we’re using our power and might to force nations to change their laws to accept abortion, to accept homosexual marriage and homosexual rights, so which country is part of the Antichrist system and which is not?”

Wiles further backed up his point by claiming that America has betrayed Israel and “is behind ISIS, it’s the United States government that created ISIS.”

He also repeated his claim that America will soon face a nuclear attack for embracing “rebellion” and “debauchery,” referring to the attack as a “wakeup call” from God.

Why Isn't The US Mentioned In The Bible? Because So Many Americans Will Be Raptured In The End Times

On Tuesday, VCY America’s “Crosstalk” hosted End Times prophet Ed Hindson to discuss the impact of the End Times and the Rapture on the United States.

“The United States would be incredibly impacted by the Rapture because there are more professing Christians here than perhaps any other place on the planet,” Hindson predicted.

“What would happen, I think, in the United States is the sudden Rapture of believers would leave this country totally secularist, totally atheist, totally in the hands of anti-Christian forces, and it would decimate the economy, the banking system, even the military, the police system. It would throw this country into chaos overnight. Now, it would throw any country into chaos, but the larger percentage of born-again believers, the larger percentage of the chaos.”

But why, Hindson asked, is the United States not mentioned in the Book of Revelation? Because, he explains, so many Americans will be raptured that the country will be totally decimated and all of the action will shift to Europe, where the Antichrist will arise.

“Unless you try to view the Babylon of the End Times as America, there’s no indication that America’s there anywhere [in the Bible],” Hindson said. “So, is she totally destroyed? Possibly, but not likely. It’s more likely that she’s decimated by the impact of the Rapture. and the power then shifts to Europe, because I think the Bible makes it clear the Antichrist will rise out of the old Roman Empire in Europe.”

Rick Wiles Announces End Of 'Trunews' Because It Is Too Late To Save America

End Times broadcaster Rick Wiles said during Tuesday’s broadcast that “Trunews” will go off the air in order to let Wiles launch a new radio show, which sounds a lot like “Trunews.”

Wiles said “the American public has checked out of reality” and failed to stop President Obama — “the communist traitor in the White House who is openly helping jihadist”— in his quest to establish a “dictatorship” and “defile the military with sodomy.”

“He has ended the Constitution and yet nobody is doing anything,” Wiles said. “The people have checked out, they are gone and we are now in a dictatorship.”

As a result of these developments, Wiles said God wants him to end “Trunews” and launch a “new radio program” to provide listeners “the spiritual food that you need to get through the storm that is coming” because “you don’t need any more news or information.”

“The storm is upon us, it is here,” Wiles said.

Linda Harvey: LGBT Rights Ushering In 'The End Times Or The End Of America — Or Both'

Mission America’s Linda Harvey appeared on “Understanding the Times with Jan Markell” over the weekend, where she warned that LGBT rights are pushing the world into the End Times.

After discussing the purported dangers that same-sex marriage presents to children, Harvey said that “we’re heading into the End Times, and it sure looks like we may be, or the end of America—or both.”

Harvey also called on cities to ban LGBT pride parades: “We need to go to our city councils and stop these parades. I think they are a blight on the community, they communicate exactly the wrong message: that homosexuality and gender change is totally fine, that it’s a big joke, because there are men dressed in feather boas, lipstick and heels in these parades, this is such a raw message to our children especially. My opinion is gay pride parades ought to be banned and we have every reason to do so, there is no redeeming social value, that’s my belief.”

She also criticized anti-gay leaders for not standing up more aggressively to LGBT-affirming Episcopalian and United Church of Christ pastors, arguing that they need to rebuff “vicious” LGBT rights advocates.

“Pastors are going to have to realize this has a huge impact on America, on our culture and on children,” she said.

“Everything we pass regarding acceptance and embrace of homosexuality or same-sex marriage, it’s not just some little population over there, it is being mandated in our schools and now in our courts and now in our workplaces that you have to embrace this and not just embrace this, you have to honor it or else we’re going to punish you.”

Janet Parshall: Ebola Is Part Of God's End Times Judgment

Religious Right talk radio host Janet Parshall stopped by the American Family Association show “Today’s Issues” yesterday to discuss the recent outbreak of Ebola in West Africa.

According to Parshall, Ebola, the conflict in Ukraine, and violence in the Mideast are all messages from God telling us that the End Times are near: “God gives us a warning, another warning, another warning, another warning because he is a gentleman God.”

Rick Wiles Links Obama To Ebola Outbreak

End Times evangelist Rick Wiles warned yesterday that President Obama may intentionally spread Ebola using an ineffective vaccine, which would lead to Americans being forced into FEMA camps.

Wiles was speaking with evangelist Augusto Perez about how the spread of Ebola in West Africa has implications for the End Times. The two speculated that the American government may exploit the outbreak in order to grow the size of government and require people receive a vaccine.

“Obama would claim executive powers to mandate that every human being in the United States be vaccinated,” Wiles said. “They could use the panic to stampede hundreds of millions of people in this country to be vaccinated, in fact billions worldwide, they could stampede the world to receive to a vaccine against a deadly virus and nobody knows what is in the vaccine.”

Perez said the vaccine would not work due to unhealthy eating habits and chemtrails, spreading Ebola further and empowering the government to become oppressive and force people into FEMA camps.

You Can Learn The Exact Day Of Christ's Return If You Give $5 To WorldNetDaily

When you sign up for WorldNetDaily’s email list, you commit yourself to a lifetime of receiving several emails a day offering great deals on prepper equipment, bogus medical treatments, presidential impeachment paraphernalia, instructional knife-throwing DVDs, and information on the impending End Times.

But all the spam can sometimes yield a great benefit, as it did with today’s email offering a set of DVDs that predict “the specific day of the Lord’s return” — information that even the Bible says is unknowable.

Unsurprisingly, the sales pitch doesn’t divulge this information, but does offer the set of DVDs — which have been endorsed by WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah —for the bargain price of $4.95.

Pastor Mark Biltz, an expert in the Hebrew roots of Christianity, believes he knows when Jesus will return – the exact day, if not the specific year. And today only, WND readers can get this acclaimed teaching in the 2-DVD set, "The Feasts of the Lord," for only $4.95 – an unprecedented $35 discount off the regular $39.95 price!

"I think most believers will be stunned by what they see in 'The Feasts of the Lord' teachings," says Joseph Farah, founder and editor of WND, who produced the two-DVD set. "Their faith will be renewed or heightened to new limits. These are powerful videos – unlike anything ever produced before."

In "The Feasts of the Lord," Pastor Biltz, of El Shaddai Ministries, employs his Hebrew roots perspective to suggest believers can, indeed, know with relative assurance the specific day on the Hebrew calendar of Jesus' return.

At the end of WorldNetDaily’s email, we learn that Pastor Biltz is only able to predict the “specific day on the Hebrew calendar for the return of Jesus,” but not “which year that return will occur,” although he does predict that “it is very near.”

The video series "Feasts of the Lord" pinpoints the specific day on the Hebrew calendar for the return of Jesus. The only unknown, according to Biltz, is which year that return will occur – though he makes the case it is very near.

These pitches seem to be the main business model of the conspiracy-theory-happy website, which we should note continues to score interviews with Republican congressmen and potential presidential candidates.

End Times Preacher Seeks Support From Top Republicans

Jonathan Cahn recently started boasting that members of Congress have been reading his End Times book, "The Harbinger," about how God used the September 11th attacks and the 2008 economic crash to punish America for its support of abortion rights and gay marriage.

WorldNetDaily, which has heavily promoted Cahn’s book and a film based on his work, is out with a story today on Republican figures including Speaker John Boehner, Michele Bachmann and Mike Huckabee are cozying up to the messianic rabbi.

Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s runaway bestseller “The Harbinger” has been gaining the attention of America’s top lawmakers.

At a recent event on Capitol Hill commemorating George Washington’s prayer meeting after his inauguration, Cahn spoke to a hall filled with government officials, members of Congress including Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., justices and other influential citizens.

Speaking about reading “Harbinger,” Gov. Mike Huckabee said, “If you have not read this remarkable book, it’s one of the most soul-stirring, and stunning, spell-binding books I think I have ever, ever, read.”

Speaker of the House John Boehner, R-Ohio, has also received a copy of “The Harbinger.”

“Before its destruction as a nation, ancient Israel received nine harbingers, prophetic omens of warning,” he says. “The same nine harbingers are now manifesting in America with immediate ramifications for end-time prophecy.”

End Times Rabbi: 'There Is A Great Shaking Coming'

In a rambling three-part broadcast of James Dobson’s “Family Talk” earlier this month, End Times author and messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn outlined America’s impending doom, which he blamed in part on growing support for marriage equality.

Cahn’s book, The Harbinger, contends that there is a wealth of evidence supporting the idea that the destruction of the United States is imminent. The “pattern of our collapse” has already been outlined in the Bible, he says, warning that if American culture continues to “move away from God,” we will suffer the same fate as ancient Israel.

His claim is anchored by two catastrophic events – the terror attacks of September 11 and the economic collapse of 2008 – which he believes are two “warnings” sent by God.

However, Cahn says the country crossed the line in 2012, “when America reached this majority for the redefinition of marriage and the president.” “I believe a great shaking is coming and I believe that God will seek to work through that shaking for revival, it’s either revival or judgment,” Cahn said. “We cannot go down this path and expect the smiles of heaven to remain on this land.”

Cahn drove the point home when he suggested that Americans didn’t learn the lesson of the September 11 attacks and continued to defy God on issues like abortion and same-sex marriage: “As a nation, from 9/11 till now, culturally, morally, we have rapidly gone against the ways of God.”

“We have destroyed marriage essentially, or we are well on the road toward that, and we’re continuing to kill babies,” Dobson said. “And make Christians pay for them,” Cahn replied.

“When you rewrite marriage, when you say we don’t care about what God said, that is defiance of God. This is all part of the big picture. The same thing happened in ancient Israel.”

Franklin Graham Warns Hollywood And 'Spirit Of Anti-Christ' In Government Are Bringing About The End Times

Franklin Graham sat down with TBN host Jan Crouch last week to discuss how “we are on the edge” of the End Times.

Graham cited America’s supposed persecution of Christians, Hollywood’s “demonization of people of faith” that is “poisoning the minds of people against the church,” and “the spirit of Anti-Christ at the government level” as proof that we are experiencing the Last Days.

Graham previously said that members of the Obama administration “are anti-Christ in what they say and what they do.”

Christian Post Writer Says Extreme Weather Is Not Climate Change, But A Sign Of The End Times

Christian Post blogger Michael Bresciani writes this week that changes in the climate are indeed taking place, but not due to human activities such as fossil fuel emissions. Instead, he says extreme weather is the result of “homosexuality, abortion [and] general sexual preoccupation,” which according to Bresciani is bringing about the End Times and the coming of the Antichrist.

He responds to the release of the National Climate Assessment by arguing that the earth is experiencing the “‘birth pangs’ for a planet about to meet its creator” that comes from “unbridled perversion,” and not “because of global warming or man-made climate change.”

All that the bible reveals about climate changed is part of the pre-millennial prophetic message. It does say that earthquakes and violent storms, fires and other natural disasters will occur with greater intensity and frequency as the ‘last days’ approach, but it clearly says these are ‘birth pangs’ for a planet about to meet its creator. It does not attribute any of these portents to global warming or a man-made global carbon footprint – sorry.

After almost a half of a century spent studying and teaching on the prophecies of the second coming of Christ I can say with absolute confidence that this world does not end because of global warming or man-made climate change. It does not play into the prophecies of the last days at all.

The second coming of Christ is not precipitated by the heating up of the planet, but by the burning desire of men to live in unbridled perversion and sin. The world’s last dictator does not spring on an unsuspecting world just going about its business as usual, he comes on the wings of a new intense penchant for everything perverted, liberal and dehumanizing being accepted across the globe.

Homosexuality, abortion, general sexual preoccupation and sleazy self-serving politics and world governance brings the antichrist to his short lived rule over a reprobate and dying world. Global warming will be the least of our worries.

Sorry Mr. Obama, your facts are fallacy and the subject of climate change is also above your pay grade.

Whether such arguments are purely cynical or genuine, in 2014 many conservative pundits cited the End Times to back up their denunciations of everything from gay rights to the so-called ‘War on Christmas.... According to Cahn, the struggle of the Maccabees is seen today in American society among those who oppose secular government, LGBT equality, the so-called War on Christmas and the country’s transformation into “a post-Christian society” that will ultimately “... Wiles warned that “corrupt, perverse judges” will soon declare that “multiple people in a marriage is constitutional,” and Lively said that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg already “telegraphed... MORE

Scott Lively, an activist notorious for pushing anti-gay policies in countries like Uganda and Russia, appeared on “Trunews” yesterday, where he told host Rick Wiles that gay rights and the growing acceptance of homosexuality are going to destroy the U.S. Lively called homosexuality an “infection” that society can only tolerate in small doses: “Society has an immune system also and we can allow a certain amount of this infection without collapsing.” However, he warned, now America is experiencing the “forced participation in gay culture” and... This is all, of course, a sign that the Last Days are upon us, according to Wiles.... MORE

Bakker said that while “90-some percent of all Americans will be dead in less than a year” if such a breakdown occurs, you and your family will be secure if you take advantage of his special “time of trouble” offer to purchase packages containing... He said, ‘As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son returns.’” “You see,” he continued, “in Noah’s day, you had... MORE
