As Joe Biden’s popular vote and electoral college leads continue to grow, and courts dismiss the Trump campaign’s bogus claims that the election was stolen from him, many of the Pentecostal “apostles” and “prophets” who make up some of Trump’s most enthusiastic supporters continue to put faith in the many predictions and prophesies that Trump would be reelected and given a second term.
On Friday morning, the Elijah List, which sends subscribers “daily prophetic words,” described the current moment as “one of massive consequence for the nation as a whole and for conservative charismatic Christians in particular.” It continued:
On the natural, non-spiritual side, either Donald Trump has pulled off the political feat of a lifetime, convincing tens of millions of Americans to reject the results of a fairly contested election.
Or Trump is the victim of the most massive electoral fraud in our history, the exposing of which will shake our nation to its foundations.
On the spiritual side, either a multitude of prophetic voices have been jointly misled, prophesying in total unison that Trump will serve a second term.
Or the words of these prophetic voices will prove true, shocking the nation with the reality of God.
Talk about high stakes!
Indeed, several prophets have publicly told God that he must keep Trump in the White House to avoid exposing his “prophets” to mockery because their predictions did not come to pass.
On Monday, Elijah Streams posted an interview with “prophet” Kat Kerr, who insisted that God was saying Trump will win. She even claimed that if there is a “mock” swearing-in of Joe Biden, “it will not stick.” The prophets who prophesied Trump’s victory were not wrong, she said, and should stop apologizing.
Also on Friday, Elijah List promoted a post by dominionist Dutch Sheets, who claimed, “We are in the middle of an evil attempt to overthrow the government of the United States of America.” Sheets claimed that God will defeat the Satanic plan to overthrow his plan for America. “While those on the Left rejoice, we are still waiting for the legal results of this election,” Sheets wrote. “We still have time to see the rod of Christ’s authority fall and crush the rebellion at the gate.”
This week Sid Roth, host of the popular “It’s Supernatural” show, interviewed “up-and-coming prophet” Chris Reed, who said that God told him back in August that Philadelphia would take center stage during the election. He described a vision in which he saw a large map of the United States with one person standing in each state; then they all turned to face Pennsylvania. He continued:
I then saw a representation in Pennsylvania of our first president, President George Washington, and I then saw President Donald Trump come up and stand beside him and George Washington put his arm around President Trump and spoke these words to him: “You are leading the second revolution to free America from the grips of socialism. And the whole nation is looking to Pennsylvania once again, to declare independence from the growing influence of socialism, radical ideology, and an antichrist agenda, to restore it back to its founding, and to truly keep America great.” And from that, I said, I believe there is a spiritual warfare surrounding the state of Pennsylvania in regards to the 2020 presidential election, and it will be a state and it has proven to be a state of great consequence.
Reed told Roth that he hadn’t previously felt clarity as some other prophets had to prophesy Trump’s re-election, and said he had been praying earlier this week for clarity about what was happening. He said the Lord spoke to him, in a voice that sounded like “a combination of a trombone and thunder,” and told him, “Watch Pennsylvania, particularly Philadelphia, and what I said to the church of Philadelphia in the book of Revelation, so say I to my church in this season about the city of Philadelphia and the nation in the days ahead.”
Reed’s analysis of the mention of King David in the book of Revelation passage and in the Old Testament was long and complicated, but the bottom line is that he claimed Jesus is telling the church not to listen to the “lying media”—which Reed called “the modern version of the false prophets of Baal”—and telling believers to listen to the prophets and not to give up. “And he’s saying, ‘I’m going to make the ones that are peddling the lie, and the corruption have to bow at your feet and acknowledge that you were the ones that were right.’”
Reed said that God is coming to intervene—and when Roth pushed him to say directly whether he was saying that Trump would be getting a second term, he said yes.
Roth said that Trump is “God’s selection for this moment in history” and that if Trump is not reelected, “it speeds up End Time events, and God’s heart, his passion, is for souls, and he wants everyone to know him before this wrap-up occurs.”
Roth prayed that “all truth of what has gone on in the elections will come and rise up and everyone will know. And I pray, O righteous God, that there is vindication for President Trump, in the name above every name. And, Lord, I know you are releasing the angels right now, multitudes, multitudes of angels to gather the information so that people will know and will vindicate this president in Jesus name.”
Reed prayed:
Father, I thank you for President Donald Trump. That he has stood for pro-life, that he has stood for the life of babies and that he has stood with your nation Israel and that he has stood to help the economy of the United States and reforming trade deals and guarding our borders Lord, from child trafficking and human trafficking.
We just believe, Lord, what you have spoken to me and to others, that you who holds the key of David has the authority to determine, to declare who the true ruler is … David declared Solomon to be the true king and we are declaring in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach, the Lord Jesus Christ, that you will declare Donald Trump to remain the President of the United States, that his crown–that no man can take that office, no man can take that crown.
And Lord, I’m praying for strength and vitality and the joy of the Lord, to come to your church that maybe feels weary or feels like backpedaling or backtracking. Lord, we are declaring in the name of Jesus for a release of supernatural grace and joy and expectation that your hand is upon your church and upon our president, and that the open door in Philadelphia is exposing the lies of election fraud and voter fraud. And we declare in Jesus name and we come into agreement [praying in tongues] that your hand is going to return and overturn the results that we are hearing from the media. And you are the kingmaker! You are the one that holds the key of David! And we put this in your hands and we hold fast to your Word, the Word of your prophets. In Jesus Christ’s name, Hallelujah.
In late October, Roth hosted the husband-and-wife prophetic duo Robin and Robin Bullock. A YouTube video of their interview has had nearly 2.2 million views. Roth said the one thing everyone wanted to know at that moment was who is going to win the presidency, adding that “if you’re a Bible believer, you have to not want Biden to be president.”
During that interview, Roth said, “speaking from the future,” that “I am going to proclaim that President Trump will be president of the United States.” He also proclaimed that Republicans would take the Senate and the House.
Husband Robin told Roth that God had told him directly that Biden will not be president, and that the Democratic Party will go underground. He said, “President Trump will win by a landslide.”
