Mark Taylor: God Is Using Trump To Separate The Wheat From The Chaff

During his recent appearance on the “Up Front in the Prophetic” radio program, radical right-wing conspiracy theorist and so-called “firefighter prophet” Mark Taylor declared that support for President Trump will be key in determining who is and is not a true Christian as the End Times arrive.

In Matthew 3, John the Baptist prophesied that the Messiah would soon arrive and “will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” This prophecy carries particular significance for those who believe that, in the Last Days, Jesus will gather up his believers—the wheat—for salvation while “the chaff—the wicked, the ungodly, the faithless, the unbelieving, the unfruitful—He will separate from the godly and consign to a horrible fate.”

“God is separating the wheat from the chaff,” Taylor said. “It has split families apart, literally, over this whole Trump thing … The second Donald Trump was put in office, it activated something in the spirit; we crossed a timeline prophetically in the spirit that this is what is going to separate the wheat from the chaff right now.”

Taylor went on to complain, yet again, about being labeled a false prophet, insisting that getting prophecies wrong does not mean that he is a fraud.

“People attack me all the time,” he griped. “You get one thing wrong, you’re a false prophet. That’s not what a false prophet is … What makes a false prophet is the character of man. It’s the corrupt character. You just a prophet by his fruit.”
