On today’s “Faith and Freedom” radio program, Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver, Matt Barber and Holly Meade joyously recounted their experiences watching as “Christ’s name was glorified over and over again” during Donald Trump’s inauguration
Barber said that he and his wife were “moved to tears” by all the prayers and Bible readings during the inauguration and marveled at how God showed his blessing upon Trump by causing it to lightly rain during his remarks.
“It was uncanny,” Barber said. “The moment Donald Trump walked up to the platform, it started to sprinkle very lightly. And then the moment he stepped away from the platform, it stopped sprinkling. It was really wild. It was like church.”
“It was like a cleansing of the transition,” Staver added, “because the previous president … has brought so much chaos and harm and blood to the White House and has done so much to undermine our Judeo-Christian values and weaken America both domestically and abroad.”
After Staver declared that “we are thanking God that we have a second change to return America to its fundamental Judeo-Christian values,” Barber warned that Trump and his administration are now going to come under relentless attack from Satan.
“We have seen how the left, in general, has become completely unhinged and we need to make no mistake about it,” Barber said, “the Enemy, the Father of Lies is upset by this and they’re going to be doing everything they can to disrupt, to get in the way and we just need to pray that this new president will be resolute and will lean on God.”
