Back in July, we reported Lou Engle’s prophesy that the deadly tornado in Joplin, Missouri, was God’s punishment for legal abortion. This week, Engle got together with Rick Joyner of The Oak Initiative to promote The Call: Detroit with Transformation Michigan, an affiliate of The Oak Initiative. They took advantage of their time together to make a video discussing Engle’s Joplin prophesy. In the video, Engle tells Joyner that he received a message in a dream that President Obama has the potential to be the next Abraham Lincoln if he bans abortion through his very own "... MORE

Janet Porter’s proposed “heartbeat bill” in Ohio, which would criminalize abortion in the vast majority of cases, is so extreme that the Ohio Right to Life Society refuses to back it, but for some anti-choice radicals, it does not go far enough. As we’ve previously reported, Personhood USA wants to put a personhood amendment on the Ohio ballot in 2012, and Personhood Ohio is no fan of Porter’s “heartbeat bill.”

Is the Southern Baptist Convention going to change its name? The AFA is now urging people to boycott the AARP. Pat Boone is a birther. Bryan Fischer says President Obama's jobs plan is class warfare and that it is "a dangerous, un-Christian and un-American path he is walking, one destined to end in social unrest driven by a mindless contempt for hard-working Americans who have earned everything they have." Apparently Ray Comfort has a magical question that can, through sheer logic alone, turn anyone against abortion. It seems like James Robison has... MORE

On today's episode of "Wallbuilders Live," David Barton explained that one of the things that makes America so exceptional is that we, as a nation, recognize that there is an objective moral law and that this law can be found both in the Bible and in the laws of nature.
And since these objective moral laws can be found in both places, he doesn't actually need to even cite the Bible to prove that things like abortion and homosexuality are immoral because the laws of nature have already proven it:
There are absolute rights and wrongs That moral law, in the Declaration [of... MORE

Only a few years ago Religious Right groups and Republicans were running as far as possible away from the Personhood Colorado campaign, the effort to pass an extreme anti-choice measure that was twice handily defeated by Colorado voters. Last year, the National Right to Life Committee, Americans United for Life, Colorado Citizens for Life all refused to back the Colorado personhood amendment, and the Colorado Eagle Forum called the personhood campaign a “disaster.”
But now, the Personhood Mississippi campaign –which is nearly identical to the Colorado effort – has... MORE
