Cahn: America Will Experience Judgment, Anti-Christian Persecution For 'The Institutionalization Of Sin'
SUBMITTED BY: Kyle Mantyla, Tuesday 09/01/2015, 10:50am
Jonathan Cahn delivered a video message to the Family Research Council's emergency "Watchmen On The Wall" summit last week, where he reiterated his warning that America will soon receive God's judgment for legalizing gay marriage and that Christians must prepare for persecution. "What happened at the end of June was a tectonic event," Cahn said. "It was culture changing, it was a paradigm shift with profound ramifications, not only concerning marriage but for America's future. Not only America's future, but concerning persecution, concerning society,... MORE >

Pastor Erwin Lutzer was among the speakers at the Family Research Council's "Watchmen on the Wall" conference last week where he warned that homeschooling parents could find their children taken away by the state if the Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage. Saying that the freedom of religion protected in America is a historical anomaly, Lutzer warned that Christians should expect it to be stripped away "by a hostile state" in the near future. "In America today, you know that the same-sex marriage issue is very, very important," he said. "Let me tell you... MORE >

After losing his race for lieutenant governor of Virginia back in 2013, E.W. Jackson became a senior fellow with the Family Research Council and in that capacity, he spoke at FRC's "Watchmen on the Wall" conference last week, where he preached that those in attendance should be regularly donating to support FRC's "missionary" work to all of the non-Christians in America. "It bothers me to think that my own country is a strange land," Jackson proclaimed. "I never thought that there would be a day when my nation would prosecute the Bible-believing... MORE >

Wellington Boone is the sort of anti-gay pastor who laments that he can no longer call gay people "faggots" and suggests putting all of the "sodomites" on an island to see how long such a society can last, so naturally he was given a speaking slot today at the Family Research Council's "Watchmen on the Wall" conference, where he declared that acceptance of gay rights is a sign of God's judgment on this nation. "How could a U.S. senator or a congressman or a Supreme Court justice make a decision that goes against the created order of God?" Boone... MORE >
Ted Cruz Vows To 'Always, Always, Always' Stand For The Right Of Christians To Discriminate Against Gays
SUBMITTED BY: Kyle Mantyla, Thursday 05/21/2015, 1:09pm
As Brian noted earlier, Sen. Ted Cruz spoke today at a "Watchmen on the Wall" event hosted by the far-right Family Research Council, where he shared the stage with a variety of other extreme anti-gay activists. Naturally, when Cruz took the stage this morning, after being introduced by his father Rafael Cruz, who is also an anti-gay Religious Right activist in his own right, the Texas senator promised the gathering of pastors that he will "always, always, always" stand for the right of Christian business owners to discriminate against gays in the name of religious liberty... The only thing more painful than reading Todd Starnes' dreadfully unfunny book is listening to him recite "jokes" from it, as he did last week while hosting a panel on religious persecution at the Watchmen on the Wall conference. Starnes, who always goes to great lengths to assure his audience that he remains a Southerner at heart despite the fact that he lives in the Park Slope neighborhood of New York City, told the gathering of pastors that the idea for this new book, "God Less America," came to him one day while sitting at brunch in Brooklyn when he realized that... Franklin Graham spoke at the Family Research Council's Watchmen on the Wall conference yesterday where he told the assembled pastors that they all needed to be willing to have their heads chopped off for speaking the truth that gays are bound for hell. "Are we going to be cowards because we're afraid?," Graham asked the crowd. "Could we get our heads chopped off? We could, maybe one day. So what? Chop it off!" Graham went on to assert that he loves gays "enough to care to warn them that if they want to continue living like this, it's the flames of... MORE >
Jackson Expounds on African Americans' 'Adulterous Relationship' with Obama; Blasts LGBT 'Assignment of Hell'
SUBMITTED BY: Brian Tashman, Friday 05/25/2012, 4:50pm
Last week Bishop Harry Jackson asserted that the black community is involved in an “adulterous relationship” with President Obama, explaining following the President’s endorsement of marriage equality that the situation is “no different than a married person having a relationship with someone other than their spouse.” At the Watchmen on the Wall conference today he elaborated on how Obama and the Democratic party are “dishonoring” African Americans and Hispanics. Jackson for years has been trying to bolster Republican efforts to appeal to minority... MORE >
