Klingenschmitt: Candidates Who Manifest The ‘Spirit Of God’ Will Always Win Election ‘Unless The People Are Evil’

On his “Pray In Jesus Name” program yesterday, Colorado Republican state legislator Gordon Klingenschmitt hailed the election of Matt Bevin as governor in Kentucky last week, declaring that voters will always elected godly candidates … unless, that is, the voters are evil.

“Congratulations, governor-elect,” Klingenschmitt said, “for manifesting and representing the spirit of God in your campaign. People, when they see God inside of a candidate, they will vote for him every time because people are drawn to the spirit of God.”

“When people see true freedom in the heart of a candidate, he can always win an election,” Klingenschmitt continued. “Unless the people are evil, and then they will vote against the spirit of God that is in him.”
