Donald Trump: ‘If I Were There’ I Could’ve Shot The Paris Attackers

At a campaign rally in Las Vegas yesterday, GOP presidential frontrunner and aspiring “good guy with a gun” Donald Trump said that if he lived in Paris, he would’ve been able to shoot the terrorists who murdered scores of people in cafes and a concert hall last month, thus averting the attack.

“If a few of those people that are now dead, if a few of those people had guns strapped to their ankles or strapped to their waists, you wouldn’t have the problem, right?” Trump said. “If I were there, I’m licensed to carry, I will tell you this, if I were there, if somebody were there, if we had some firepower in the opposite direction, those people would’ve been gone.”

The rally also featured the manhandling of demonstrators, which has now become a regular occurrence at Trump events.
