Shortly after Bradley Manning was convicted of leaking classified information and sentenced to prison, it was announced that the former Army Intelligence Analyst would transition, undergo hormone therapy, and live as a woman named Chelsea.
Predictably, this is not sitting well with Mat Staver or Matt Barber, who cannot believe that this “transgender traitor” is being taken seriously.
Barber declared that any movement is only as strong as its weakest link and “the weakest link in that big, long LGBTQAAALMNOP … alphabet soup of the absurd, the ‘T’ for transgender is the weakest link because it is so far removed and detached from reality … that it is clownish.”
Staver agreed, saying that the next time an airline tried to charge an overweight passenger for a second seat, that person should just argue that “I’m a skinny man trapped in an obese man’s body”:
