Televangelist Jim Bakker recounted on his program yesterday the various prayer meetings he attended in Washington, D.C., during President Trump’s inauguration weekend, including one in the Trump International Hotel, where he met with fellow Religious Right figures like Cindy Jacobs and Don and Mary Colbert.
Bakker said that the festivities were somewhat dampened by “radical Muslims” who wanted “to destroy us,” who were able to book three tables at the event but were eventually thrown out.
With the crisis averted, Bakker was able to appreciate the glamor of Trump’s Washington, D.C., hotel, whose beauty he said rivaled that of heaven.
“If God builds ballrooms, it’s going to be nicer than Trump’s, I know, but I tell you what, it looks like heaven to me,” he said, adding that “the spirit of God came in” to the city for Trump’s inauguration.
Bakker was also very excited to use the Trump hotel bathrooms, even taking photos with people while inside.
