Alex Jones: The New Star Wars Film Is ‘State-Sponsored’ Propaganda

Alex Jones, the nutritional supplement salesman who heads up Infowars, claimed today that the newest installment in the Star Wars franchise is “state-sponsored” brainwashing of the American public.

Jones led into a segment of his show today by telling listeners that his wife had purchased opening night tickets for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi.”He said he told his wife that he couldn’t look at the character Princess Leah, played by actress Carrie Fisher, who died last year and that he was hesitant to watch it because “the others [movies] are so chock-full of political propaganda.”

“I was talking to some of the crew and Daria went and saw it and she said it was total SJW, that Princess Leah has a girlfriend with purple hair, and again I don’t care if there’s people with purple hair, but every movie the women are the bosses, the women are the heroes, they’re all lesbians. It’s the same story over and over again and it’s a formula. It’s state-sponsored. It’s brainwashing. It’s like all these shows where the Russians are our enemies and then the bad guy—because they’re the resistance—fighting like an Eric Trump-like character.”

Jones went on to ask one of his crew members who actually did watch the movie to explain what she thought about “Star Wars: The Last Drug Addict, or whatever.”
