Bryan Fischer declared on his American Family Radio program yesterday that President Trump is “single-handedly … responsible for giving the American people hope.”
“I think the reality is that Donald Trump is single-handedly responsible, ladies and gentlemen, for giving us hope,” Fischer said. “Donald Trump single-handedly is responsible for giving the American people hope.”
Enthused by Trump’s recent meeting in the Oval Office with dozens of Religious Right leaders, Fischer said that Trump’s obvious commitment to the radical right-wing agenda is “responsible for the rejuvenation of hope on the part of Donald Trump’s base.”
“I think that’s why his base loves him, they are going to stick with him,” he said. “I’m telling you, ladies and gentlemen, he’s about the only hope that we have right now. If you’re an American who cares about this country like I do, Donald Trump is the one person, the one individual who is giving us reason to hope for the future.”
