Newsmax host Steve Malzberg was not pleased with Vice President Joe Biden’s speech this week to a gathering of African leaders in Washington, D.C., in which he held up the United States as an example of a nation that is “not perfect” but has established systems for rooting out corruption.
“Here it is, what they love to do best, this administration, is trash America,” Malzberg complained in an interview with conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza yesterday. “Why this compulsion to trash America in front of the rest of the world?”
D’Souza agreed, saying, “When they blame America they’re blaming their America or taking actual responsibility for what they do. What they’re really doing is trying to castigate America, undermine people’s patriotism, increase third world and foreign hostility to America. And the real goal of all this is political and economic redistribution of wealth and power.”
D’Souza previously discussed how school lessons about slavery and Jim Crow are part of a liberal plot to teach kids to “hate America.”
