American Family Association Advertises Off Of Its ‘Extremist’ Label

The American Family Association is running radio advertisements holding up its “extremist” label as a badge of honor. Of course, even while boasting about its own extremism, AFA manages to twist the facts.

The group claims in its ad — which ran today on American Family Radio — that it only is considered an “extremist” group not because of its over-the-top bigoted statements but because it supports “church on Sundays,” “intact families,” “free speech,” “freedom of religion” and “belief in Jesus Christ.”
