South Carolina GOP Lawmaker: LGBT Rights As Bad As 'Skinheads And Radical Islam'

Last week, we reported that South Carolina state senator Mike Fair had succeeded in getting the University of South Carolina-Upstate to cancel a satirical performance called "How To Be A Lesbian In 10 Days Or Less" because he thought it was "recruiting" students to become lesbians.

Well, the show may be canceled, but the outrage machine rolls on. The State reports that Fair "said in a TV interview [last] week that Upstate students needed to be exposed to gay-themed materials and programs like 'they do skinheads and radical Islam. They don't need to be exposed to it.'"

State Sen. Lee Bright, who represents the area in the state legislature and who is challenging U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham in the GOP primary this year, joined Fair in the effort to cut the school's budget in punishment for planning to host the show and for assigning LGBT-friendly reading material. "I think we've got their attention," Bright said. "Folks in Spartanburg aren't looking for that kind of bent at their local college."

And now, a candidate for state superintendent of education is piling on, issuing a press release calling the show "dangerous" and "destructive" and calling for everyone involved to be fired. Superintendant candidate Gary Burgess wrote, in a press release flagged by the Charleston City Paper:

Sexual orientation, and teaching children about sexual orientation, is exclusively the purview of the home and Houses of Faith. A seminar teaching young adults how to be heterosexual or homosexual is completely off limits to schools, colleges, and universities. How much training does it take to have human beings, sexual creatures, participate in sex? This is ludicrous. This is dangerous. This is destructive ...

These programs, which try to indoctrinate our children, must be completely defunded, and those who use tax dollars in such a way should be fired.

Meanwhile, Leigh Hendrix, the South Carolina native who wrote and performs "How To Be A Lesbian In 10 Days Or Less," says she is "really surprised" by the backlash to her show, noting that "the title is far more provocative than the piece."

Don Feder Angry 'Noah' Didn't Blame Flood On Gay People

World Congress of Families spokesman Don Feder is upset that the movie “Noah” focused on climate change, suggesting that the flood actually represented divine punishment for homosexuality.

Feder joins the many anti-gay activists who insist that gay people are to blame for the biblical flood.

“Try to imagine Hollywood making a movie that inveighs against sexual immorality, when the entertainment industry goes Lady Gaga over gayness and presents cohabitation, adultery and abortion as lifestyle choices,” Feder writes.

Instead, he says that the film's message against human-induced climate change is proof that “warmingism” is a religion that treats its critics as “heretics.” He adds that “Enviros would have auto-da-fes in front of the United Nations building if not for concern about pollutants released by burning flesh.”

Scripture is a bit vague on the reasons for the flood. The Bible explains: "Now the earth was corrupt before God. And the earth became full of robbery. And God saw the earth, and behold it had become corrupted." (Genesis 6:11-12).

Corrupt in what way? Would God destroy the world over larceny? Later in Genesis, the Canaanite cities of Sodom and Gomorrah are blotted out, this time by fire, over sexual deviancy. The term "sodomite" doesn't refer to someone who knocks-over convenience stores.

Try to imagine Hollywood making a movie that inveighs against sexual immorality, when the entertainment industry goes Lady Gaga over gayness and presents cohabitation, adultery and abortion as lifestyle choices.

The cult of global warming has all of the characteristics of a religion – prophets (Al Gore, Hollywood savants, and scientists in mad pursuit of government research grants), evil (the internal combustion engine, coal-fired plants, population growth), good (measures designed to curb CO2 emissions) and salvation/redemption (draconian fines for carbon-polluters, severe limits on human reproduction – to erase carbon footprints – and eventual repeal of the industrial revolution). Dissenters aren't merely wrong, they are heretics labeled climate change "deniers." Enviros would have auto-da-fes in front of the United Nations building if not for concern about pollutants released by burning flesh.

Although adherents won't admit it, warmingism is also based on faith – a belief in the depravity of industrial society and the evil of progress. Unfortunately for its proponents, warmingism is demonstrably false and is increasingly refuted by reality. The earth isn't getting warmer. The ice caps aren't shrinking. The rise in sea-levels is insignificant and ecological doom is nowhere on the horizon. …

After spending decades (centuries if you want to go back to the French Revolution) trying to destroy religion, the left is now using religion to advance its pet causes. Coming soon, "Sodom and Gomorrah: The True Story" – wherein destruction is visited on the Mesopotamian metropolises for their homophobia, sexism and income inequality.

Kevin Swanson Compares Gay-Inclusive Honey Maid Ad To Axe Murder, Cannibalism

Colorado-based pastor Kevin Swanson of Generations Radio is joining the Religious Right outrage frenzy over a gay-inclusive TV ad produced by Nabisco’s Honey Maid.

On Friday, he told co-host Steve Vaughn that the company’s “disgusting” attempt to “promote” homosexuality is just like encouraging axe murder.

When you come down to things like axe murder or homosexuality and you say, ‘we’re really going to promote it and we’re going to encourage everybody in America to engage in this or at least support this thing,’ there will be people on the other side who will take an adamantly opposed position to your support of axe murdering or homosexuality. They will be intolerant, they will be very intolerant of that which is evil, like axe murdering. Here’s my prognostication for Nabisco: I think they’re going to lose business. They say ‘we’ve got lots and lots and lots of positive comments,’ I think they said 50,000 positive comments or something.

Tough bananas, there are still going to be 28 percent, 38 percent, 47 percent of the market that will not go with it. So their decision to step out and say, ‘we’re going to take the lowest road possible on this, we’re going to support one of the most egregious things ever concocted since Nero — Nero being the one who came up with homosexual marriage, the namesake for it — we’re going to support the Neronic agenda,’ there will be I think 28 percent, 38 percent, it may eventually go as low as 28 percent, but you’re still going to get a pretty substantial bunch of Americans that will say, ‘hey, this is disgusting, Nabisco is disgusting.’

He also took issue with Honey Maid’s video response to its critics, wondering whether the next ad will include a “family where a dog is the wife with a human husband.”

Swanson also claimed that God will object to the TV ad because “the problem with this ‘love’ thing is you can define it anyway you want. Homosexuals love their friends and cannibals love their victims, they taste good.”

Nabisco apparently came out with this ‘Wholesome’ ad for ‘Wholesome Honey Maid and Teddy Grahams,’ it’s causing a huge stir. The company is fighting the negativity with another ad called ‘Love.’ Here’s what happened: Nabisco presented an ad in which they equated mixed race families to single parent families to homosexual families, whatever that is, maybe they had another family where a dog is the wife with a human husband. Does the dog eat wholesome Nabisco doggy bones? So they come out with an ad, then they got backlash because not everybody felt it was wholesome.

Artists printed out the negative comments, rolled them all up and created a sculpture that reads ‘Love’ in cursive script. Isn’t that cute? That’s kind of cute. I wonder what God thinks about that? Didn’t God define love? See the problem with this ‘love’ thing is you can define it anyway you want. Homosexuals love their friends and cannibals love their victims, they taste good.

BarbWire: Obama, Pro-Gay Rights Christians Are 'Servants Of Satan'

Lee Duigon of the Chalcedon Foundation, a Christian Reconstructionist group whose founder R.J. Rushdoony supported the death penalty for gay people, writes today in BarbWire that President Obama and pastors who officiate same-sex weddings, among others, are evil “servants of Satan.”

He adds that he doesn’t understand why “libs ‘n’ progs and atheists and other specimens of the Far Left” are offended when he calls them Satanic: “I don’t see why that should be hard to understand.”

For people whose chief mode of discourse consists of shouting and calling names, any time they encounter someone who doesn’t go along with them, libs ‘n’ progs and atheists and other specimens of the Far Left are surprisingly thin-skinned.

Being a servant of Satan involves more than just sinning. After all, we are all sinners; otherwise, we wouldn’t need a Savior. It’s like the difference between an ordinary homosexual, a sinner like the rest of us, and a flatline Protestant minister who performs same-sex parodies of marriage in his church. The latter is a servant of Satan. And in this day and age, we’ve raised up a bumper crop of them.

I don’t see why that should be hard to understand, except to those who don’t want to understand–maybe because a lot of their heroes are servants of Satan. Margaret Sanger, Richard Dawkins, Alfred Kinsey, the current occupier of the White House, Mikey Weinstein – we could spend a whole day listing them. But they are all servants of Satan, because they all preach and teach that evil is good, and good is evil; they all seek to nullify God’s laws; and they have all labored to create a world from which God’s laws are erased.

If that’s not serving Satan, what is?

American Decency Association: Gay Rights Have Turned America Into North Korea

Anti-gay activists are incensed that the Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal by a New Mexico photographer who violated the state’s anti-discrimination laws, and the American Decency Association is citing the case as proof that the United States has morphed into North Korea.

“Have we been transported to North Korea? Since when do we have to check our First Amendment freedoms at the door in order to live and work as a citizen of the United States?” the group asked, lamenting that the government is bent on “forcing Christians to closet their faith and bow before our nation’s golden idol giving glory, laud, and honor to all things homosexual.”

Each week it seems the courts and the culture delivers another blow in their attempt to take down biblical truth. Yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court announced their refusal to hear the appeal case of Elaine Huguenin, the New Mexico photographer who was found guilty and punished by the New Mexico Supreme Court for putting her faith into practice – politely declining a request to take pictures of a lesbian couple’s “commitment ceremony” due to her religious beliefs.

With the U.S. Supreme Court’s refusal to hear this case and weigh in on the constitutional issue of religious rights vs. “gay rights” the justices have, in essence, spoken by their silence. And the verdict is that “gay rights” wins and the First Amendment loses.

The appalling New Mexico ruling will stand. A ruling where one justice actually stated that Christian business owners are “now compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives." The ruling by this court went on to state that such coercion is "the price of citizenship."

The “price of citizenship”?? Have we been transported to North Korea? Since when do we have to check our First Amendment freedoms at the door in order to live and work as a citizen of the United States? What happened to the land of the free where we have the free exercise of religion?

Yet that is exactly what the government is doing (with a complicit stamp of approval from the U.S. Supreme Court) – forcing Christians to closet their faith and bow before our nation’s golden idol giving glory, laud, and honor to all things homosexual.

Peter LaBarbera Demands Liberty University Fire Openly Gay Choreographer

Americans For Truth About Homosexuality head Peter LaBarbera is demanding the notoriously anti-gay Liberty University fire theatre artist Geoffrey Goldberg, who was hired to choreograph the school’s production of Mary Poppins, because he is gay. On Voice of Christian Youth America’s Tuesday edition of Crosstalk, LaBarbera and host Vic Eliason ganged up on Liberty University and demanded Goldberg’s ouster.

Liberty University has responded to news reports by saying that Goldberg is an “independent contractor supplied to the university through a third-party association who has never been employed or applied for employment” at the school.

LaBarbera name-dropped fellow anti-gay activists at Liberty including Mat Staver, Matt Barber and Rena Lindevaldsen, and urged the school to “do the right thing” and part ways with Goldberg. He even demanded Liberty and other universities refuse to allow “open homosexual advocates as students” and called on Grove City College to fire professor Warren Throckmorton over his criticism of ex-gay therapy and anti-gay laws in countries like Uganda.

Not to be outdone, Eliason worried about “percentage of homosexuals that have invaded the arts such as drama” in order to “capture the minds of individuals.”

Eliason: Christian News carried this story with the headline, ‘Liberty University Hires Open Homosexual Advocate To Choreograph Its Upcoming Broadway-Style Mary Poppins Production,’ what more do you know about this thing?

LaBarbera: I don’t know a lot about this one. Apparently he was a contractor and I think that the woman who spoke out on his behalf probably did not have the clearance of the university before she did that. I know the people I’ve worked with at Liberty and I hope they fix this problem because this is such a great organization, it’s done so much good work. Jerry Falwell did such tremendous work, Ronald Reagan would never have been president without Jerry Falwell, the founder of Liberty University.

The bigger story Vic is the one that didn’t get much play which is: Liberty University and other Christian universities who call themselves Christian, will they allow open homosexual advocates as students? In the old days if a student was out there celebrating sin, there would be consequences. But apparently that doesn’t happen much. We have other examples of course of universities gone bad. Good golly, Grove City College has some wonderful professors but they also have Warren Throckmorton who is pretty much a de facto gay activist now; a professor at Grove City College, which calls itself Christian and advertises in World Magazine and other Christian places, they have Warren Throckmorton who is pretty much a gay activist the way he advocates for homosexuality.

Eliason: It’s alarming when you see the percentage of homosexuals that have invaded the arts such as drama. But drama ends up being a tool to persuade the minds of people. It becomes a tool to do some mind-bending or to capture the minds of individuals. They’re starting now and you can see using Open Core [sic] and right on through the core idea of training children from right on up government-controlled education, and now we see what’s happening at the options of a university that could have put the brakes on this and said no, we’re going to look for someone who is really a representative of the lifestyle that we’re doing here. Does not Christianity have people of talent enough to do the choreography of a dramatic presentation without having to go to someone who openly endorses same-sex marriage?

LaBarbera: I think they do and I hope that Liberty does the right thing. Mat Staver, Matt Barber, Rena Lindevaldsen are just wonderful people and I think Liberty really has to watch it because of course the homosexual activists want to undermine Liberty, of course they want to undermine Christian institutions.

The AFTAH president went on to condemn gay rights advocates as the “Gay-KK” and “Gay-Stapo,” warning that the movement is a “homo-Marxist” effort based on “idiocy” and “tyranny.”

Eliason: I’ve heard of people talk about homo-fascists but you’ve got another term that’s been brought forward which is a little bit different.

LaBarbera: Well I’m using homo-Marxist and homo-fascist. Homo-fascism suggests this bully mentality, this idea that the homosexual activists know what is best for everybody and they’re going to take people down, anybody who gets in their way, undemocratic, that’s where that came from and now it’s really starting to gain popularity. Other pejorative sort of joking terms like the Gay-KK and the Gay-Stapo, but I’m also using homo-Marxist and here’s why I think it is actually more accurate.

The Communists, the Marxists, they’re the ones who had this radical egalitarianism, they thought they were going to make everybody equal and what did it do, it led to tyranny. Look at the homosexual lobby, they’re trying to pretend that homosexual behavior is somehow equal to the real deal, they call it marriage equality, that somehow two men getting ‘married’ is equal and deserves the same benefits and rights and standing in society as real marriage, and of course that’s idiocy, that’s nonsensical.

The interview concluded with a truly bizarre rant by Eliason calling transgender people and women construction workers “disgusting” and attacking “the Islamics, who can grow a beard now, which who knows it can get caught in a barbed wire fence, that wear a turban to designate who they are, I wonder if they’re trying to look for sympathy so that no one would shoot a guy with a turban on. I don’t understand.”

Eliason’s group is based in Milwaukee County, where in 2012 a white supremacist murdered six Sikhs, whose adherents wear turbans, at their Oak Creek temple.

LaBarbera: If they allow transsexuals into the military, you’re going to see guys and women joining the military just to get their body-altering, these terrible sex-reassignment surgeries paid for by the taxpayer.

Eliason: Mutilation, if you please.

LaBarbera: Mutilation, right.

Eliason: I can only imagine the confusion that would be there if here is some guy dressed in a big skirt trying to look feminine climbing into the left seat in a bomber or into a jetfighter and getting his dress all snarled up trying to climb in. We’re talking about guys running jackhammers and making bunkers and things like that, if there’s anything disgusting it’s to see, and I mean this kindly but women are made of God to be very special, and one day I was driving down the street and I saw this, well this lady was pretty hefty, but she was operating a jackhammer and what it did to her was absolutely astounding, it was wicked, it was a violation of the very purpose of the wonderful gift of femininity.

If we’ve got people here now suddenly all on the altar of being able to — it’s not just the transgenders [sic], now if you feel like you’re feminine one day and feel like you’re masculine the next day, you can change back and forth, switch-hitter. And of course we have to be fair, so we have also turned the option to the Islamics, who can grow a beard now, which who knows it can get caught in a barbed wire fence, that wear a turban to designate who they are, I wonder if they’re trying to look for sympathy so that no one would shoot a guy with a turban on. I don’t understand.

Tea Party Activist: 'Gay Supremacy Is Becoming A Monster That Carries Greater Evils Than White Supremacy Ever Did'

Mary Baker, leader of Conservative Moms for America and a speaker for the Tea Party Express, is warning in a blog post for Tea Party Nation that “gay supremacy is becoming a monster that carries greater evils than white supremacy ever did.”

Her post, which Tea Party Nation leader Judson Phillips emailed to members today, also makes the absurd claim that white supremacy was “quickly put down” in America and argues that the gay rights activists are motivated by “hate” and bent on their opponents’ “utter annihilation.”

Baker explains that gay rights advocates are worse than white supremacists because “I could disagree with the beliefs of white supremacist and still hold to Biblical views about life, marriage and sexuality. Many people in America fought against their own kind in order to rid us of this hateful group but Gay supremacist have bullied every sector of our nation and now sit as the giant bully against all Americans who disagree with their radical agenda.”

When white supremacy tried to make a mark in American history it was viciously attacked quickly put down by the people of our nation . But Gay Supremacy is becoming a monster that carries greater evils than white supremacy ever did. White Supremacy was focused on how a group of people felt about another group of people. They created various barriers for those they hated and their views about their superiority to others provided the frame work for the citizens of this nation to search their hearts and understand that God has created every person in His image. However Gay Supremacy's hate reaches much farther than a specific group of people. Their [sic] is no common ground that can be reached. Their [sic] is no searching of the heart or consideration of God's principles. Their hate is generated only by self centeredness [sic] and hate for anyone who disagrees with them.

Any person who disagrees with their evil beliefs will be viciously attacked and destroyed. I could disagree with the beliefs of white supremacist and still hold to Biblical views about life, marriage and sexuality. Many people in America fought against their own kind in order to rid us of this hateful group but Gay supremacist have bullied every sector of our nation and now sit as the giant bully against all Americans who disagree with their radical agenda. Christians are not bigots because we don't embrace immoral lifestyles. Currently gay supremacist point their anguish at Christians but anyone who stand opposed to the Gay supremacist is game for utter annihilation.

Our state government must now take the lead in protecting the religious freedoms and right of expression of the citizens of their state from this new enemy the Gay Supremacist.

Charisma's Jennifer LeClaire: Honey Maid Is 'Trying To Shove' Homosexuality 'Down My Throat'

Charisma new editor Jennifer LeClaire is upset that Honey Maid’s gay-inclusive TV ad is “trying to shove something down my throat for which I have no taste,” writing in a column today that she will “pray for those whose hand may be caught in the cookie jar of sexual immorality when Jesus returns.”

LeClaire also complains that the graham cracker company responded to critics by hiring two “lesbians [to] glue together the complaints to spell out the word ‘love’ in cursive.”

Nowhere in the response ad – or anywhere else that we can find, for that matter – does it say that the artists, Linsey Burritt and Crystal Grover of INDO, are lesbians.

Nabisco’s brand is no longer wholesome. The makers of favorites like Vanilla Wafers and Teddy Grahams is propagating same-sex marriage—complete with newborn babies—in its latest 30-second commercial. Dubbed This is Wholesome, the agenda is indeed anything but.

The commercial kicks off with a man feeding a baby. One would assume the man was the baby’s father. Seconds later, another man leans into the screen and kisses the baby on the head. The commercial reveals the baby’s two fathers taking the baby out for a walk, followed by images of other families spending time together. Of course, Teddy Grahams and Honey Maid graham crackers are intended to be the real star of the spot.

“No matter how things change, what makes us wholesome never will,” the voiceover states. “Honey Maid: Everyday wholesome snacks for every wholesome family. This is wholesome.”

Wholesome? Maybe Nabisco is using a different dictionary than the rest of us. Merriam-Webster defines wholesome as “promoting health or well-being of mind or spirit” and “sound in body, mind, or morals.” By either definition, Nabisco got it wrong.

How did Nabisco respond? The cookie company defended itself, releasing a new commercial showing two women holding up printed sheets of complaints people sent to Nabisco. The lesbians glue together the complaints to spell out the word “love” in cursive. The advertisement’s key message: “Proving that only one thing really matters when it comes to family: love.”

That said, Nabisco is still trying to shove something down my throat for which I have no taste. Although I defend their right to do so, I grieve over the latest example of how immorality is the new normal. Our only godly response is to continue speaking the truth in love and pray for those whose hand may be caught in the cookie jar of sexual immorality when Jesus returns.

Steve Malzberg Warns Honey Maid Is 'Incurring The Wrath' Of The Straight '95 Percent Of The Population'

Adding his voice to the right-wing outrage over Honey Maid’s TV ad featuring a same-sex couple, NewsMax’s Steve Malzberg mocked the company’s video response to its critics.

“I’m all choked up, not really,” Malzberg sneered, adding that he was upset about positive news coverage of Honey Maid’s ad.

“I don’t know how wholesome it is, it’s a company decision and now they are going to have to live with it. If they’re looking to appeal to the 5 percent of the population that’s gay, good for them, but you do so possibly at the expense of some of the other 95 percent of the population and incurring their wrath.”

Steve Deace Claims End Of Anti-Gay Sodomy Laws Led To 'Fascism'

Conservative talk show host Steve Deace writes in the Washington Times today that gay rights advocates are trying to instill a 1984-style “fascism,” and blames this development on the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down sodomy laws in Lawrence v. Texas.

“Every fascist movement in human history would be proud” of the gay rights movement, he writes, warning that the movement poses a greater threat to America than “jihadists” and is forcing Christians “debate our very existence” in the US.

After being desensitized to homosexuality by popular culture for the past two decades, the American people were promised by the Left that allowing the sexual revolution to reach its climax wouldn’t change anything. Now that our brave, new world of anything goes has arrived, the American people are beginning to realize this actually threatens to change everything.

Free speech, your own conscience, and religious freedom — rights as old as our republic itself — are now threatened more than ever before. Those God-given rights aren’t being threatened by jihadists or the Redcoats. They’re being threatened by a new fascism that calls itself “tolerance.”

Those who pleaded for “tolerance” and demanded “equality” only intended to do so until they acquired supremacy. Then, when they had the advantage, they would make sure their opponents understood that it’s not any fun once the rabbit has the gun. This reconstruction of previously agreed upon terminology and values is always the first step towards totalitarianism, as George Orwell pointed out in “Animal Farm” and “1984.”

A brief history lesson for those wondering how “tolerance” turned into fascism.

When sodomy laws were nullified by controversial Supreme Court precedents like 2003’s Lawrence v. Texas, the Left and the Republican Party’s surrender caucus promised us this was only about consenting adults’ private behavior, and this wouldn’t lead to a fight over marriage. But that’s exactly what it did.

While we were winning the fight to preserve marriage in 31 of the 35 states it was contested, the Left and the Republican Party’s surrender caucus promised us that redefining marriage and granting new rights based on behavior wouldn’t cost anybody their previously acknowledged God-given rights.

But that’s exactly what it’s doing, as it was intended to do. Statists are cheering on the fascism because their ultimate goal has always been to silence the church in America, for it’s the church that preaches the sovereignty of God and not government.

Christians now find ourselves in the position of having to debate our very existence in a country that wouldn’t have existed without our Christian forefathers, who came here for religious freedom in the first place. Can we hold jobs and still believe the Bible and church teachings? Can we own businesses? Will we be blacklisted from certain industries? Will they try to stop us from passing these teachings down to our children at home, since they’re already indoctrinating our kids against us in the schools as it is? And so on, and so forth.

The new tolerance has become the new fascism. How fabulous.

Todd Starnes Warns Gay Rights Will Lead To 'Cultural Armageddon'

Fox News pundit Todd Starnes is outraged that TV shows these days include “families with two mommies or two daddies or a mommy who identifies as a daddy,” arguing in a Charisma column today that the gay community is largely responsible for the rise of divorce and single parent households.

Starnes interviewed Southern Baptist megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress, who told him that marriage equality for same-sex couples “is having devastating sociological effects” because “when you counter something, you cheapen its value.”

“The traditional nuclear family is on the verge of disaster,” Starnes writes. “And once the nuclear family explodes, the United States should brace for a cultural Armageddon.”

I grew up in a time when father still knew best—when Mr. Cunningham was dispensing words of wisdom to Fonzie, when Andy took Opie fishing and when Cliff Huxtable declared that he brought his son into the world and he could take him out. It was a time when Hollywood reinforced the values of the traditional American family. Television shows like The Waltons, Little House on the Prairie and The Brady Bunch presented portraits of strong families where parents ruled the roost and children knew their place.

Those days are long gone. Nowadays, children know best and dads are portrayed as dithering dolts. Instead of a mom and dad and two kids, the cul-de-sac includes families with two mommies or two daddies or a mommy who identifies as a daddy—and they’ve been saddled with gender-neutral offspring.

Critics might argue that the nation’s divorce rate is actually declining. But [Robert] Jeffress believes that’s evidence of a much greater problem.

“Fewer and fewer people are getting married, so fewer people are getting divorced,” he says. “The overall health of the American family is in critical condition.”

Jeffress believes the legalization of same-sex marriage has “cheapened” traditional marriage.

“When you counter something, you cheapen its value,” he says. “When you say marriage is whatever you want it to be, people begin wondering—why bother getting married anyway? This counterfeit of marriage is having devastating sociological effects. More kids are being raised in one-parent homes. You simply cannot break God’s most basic moral law without serious ramifications.”

What Can We Do?

The solution is simultaneously simple yet challenging. Simple in that we must return to God’s pattern for the family. God is the one who created the family. Before the church, He created the family—the fundamental unit of community.

Yet re-establishing that unit as God intended it within our culture is easier said than done, obviously, because of the fervent opposition to biblical values.

The warning signs are all around us. The traditional nuclear family is on the verge of disaster. And once the nuclear family explodes, the United States should brace for a cultural Armageddon.

Can we prevent such a catastrophe by returning to God’s design for the family? Like it or not, answering that question begins with the church.

Robert Oscar Lopez Claims Same-Sex Parenting Is Slavery, Banned Under The 13th Amendment

While appearing on Sandy Rios In The Morning yesterday, anti-LGBT activist Robert Oscar Lopez said that same-sex couples who are raising children are “redefining what it means to be human” and reintroducing slavery.

Rios invited Lopez on her show to discuss a recent American Thinker column in which he depicts gay men as “woman-hating chauvinists” who wish to “snatch away” babies from women and treat children as “chattel.” Lopez told Rios that the Thirteenth Amendment’s ban on slavery applies to same-sex parenting.

I believe every child has a natural born right to his mother and father and ultimately those rights were taken away from them because adults made a decision that the child was not a party to because he didn’t exist or was too young to decide that. Even if you could come up with some study that showed that 95% of the children are okay with it, we as a society already went through a huge debate in the United States about owning other people and we decided — the Thirteenth Amendment is worded very sweepingly not just to ban what was specifically happening on Southern plantations but to ban any kind of practice. It says ‘slavery shall not exist,’ any kind of arrangement where you have a legal contract upon another human being is banned.

So the mother-father relationship to the child is a natural one that is structured around obligations to the child, anytime that you turn that around and you say that adults have a right to a child, really all of society then becomes put into an ethical problem because all of society is redefining what it means to be human, what it means to be a child, what it means to be a free citizen and what it means to have freedom. I don’t think you can really be free if you’re born with a price on your head.

Lopez also lashed out at LGBT rights advocates as “brutal,” “ruthless” and “totalitarian” activists.

This is a very aggressive movement and they’re ruthless. I began to hold discussions, trying sincerely to engage in a discussion with the gay community, and I think there are still a lot of good gay people, but the gay organizations, which are not the same thing as gay people, have just fallen into this totalitarian mode, their mindset is so brutal and ruthless, I just can’t even put words to it.

Linda Harvey Attacks Anti-Bullying Day Of Silence For 'Dishonoring God'

Mission America’s Linda Harvey keeps pressing on in her war against the Day of Silence and used her daily radio bulletin today to warn that the event will encourage students to “take on” a “high-risk life that dishonors God.”

Harvey told listeners to pull their kids from school on that day to avoid exposure to the protest against anti-LGBT bullying, warning that children will otherwise have to encounter “pro-homosexual propaganda” and face other students “recruiting” them.

Because of alarming and deceptive messages surrounding the Day of Silence, many Christian groups — Mission America included — are urging parents to keep your children home from school that day unless you have assurances that the school is not bending its rules. Some schools allow student organizers to widely promote the Day of Silence and homosexuality while recruiting others to participate. Here’s why I say it’s deceptive: the Day of Silence is sadly a day of pro-homosexual propaganda in schools.

Students pledge to remain silent all day in order to protest what they believe has been the silencing of homosexuals and bullying that isn’t being punished, those who choose to be homosexual or switch genders are the victims and we’re all bullies or potential bullies if we don’t accept this premise. But we should not accept this premise because it wrongly communicates that homosexuality is honorable and respectable and that it’s inborn like race. But that’s’ not true. No one, especially young people, should take on this identity and behavior. It’s a high-risk life that dishonors God and the way He created us.

Rick Wiles Warns Adolf Hitler's 'Race Of Super Gay Male Soldiers' Is Taking Over America

Indiana pastor and BarbWire editor Jeff Allen, who has compared gays to Al QaedaNazis and the Ku Klux Klan, spoke to Rick Wiles of TruNews on Friday about his column attacking the Southern Baptist Convention for not being anti-gay enough. Wiles said that anti-gay activists need to become more vocal because gay rights advocates are literal Nazis who idolize Adolf Hitler. Wiles said that Nazis had nothing to do with promoting the Aryan race but were instead bent on creating “a homosexual special race.”

“Hitler was trying to create a race of super gay male soldiers,” Wiles said, predicting that gay people in the US will realize Hitler’s goal and launch a mass “slaughter” of Christians.

Wiles: It’s not an exaggeration to say homofascist because the German Nazi Party was homosexual, Hitler was a homosexual, the top Nazi leadership, all of them were homosexuals, it was a radical homosexual movement that gained political power, military power, and they were creating a homosexual special race. That’s what it was all about. It wasn’t this thing about an Aryan race of white people, blue-eyed, blonde-haired, white people, Hitler was trying to create a race of super gay male soldiers. That’s what he was creating.

When you understand what the real agenda of the homosexual movement was in the 30s and 40s and you see it is happening now here in the United States of America. I’m telling you, this is not an exaggeration. If it’s not stopped, it will end up in America just like it was in Germany but it won’t be the Jews that will be slaughtered, it will be the Christians.

Allen: Right. We haven’t gotten, fortunately, to the slaughtering part, but we’re getting to the point of the marginalizing part. Marginalized, get us to the edge, remove us from any influence in society.

Later in the interview, Wiles called gay rights “the new Nazism” and said that gays will turn America into “a hellacious place to live and you’re going to have to go underground to be a Christian in this country.”

After Allen accused gays of “hunting [people] down,” Wiles said that gay rights advocates “want to put your head on the wall.”

Wiles: They are Nazi thought police and they’re going to be the worst kind of tyrants we’ve ever seen. The nightmare is only starting and if the Christians don’t get their act together, this is going to become a hellacious place to live and you’re going to have to go underground to be a Christian in this country. They’re going to hunt you down and they’re going to persecute you. That is the spirit that is alive in this country right now and is being embraced by political leaders in both parties, it is the new Nazism.

Allen: They already are hunting you down, they’re hunting you down. If they find out about you, they come after you.

Wiles: Yes. They’re looking for people. They want trophies, they want your head on the wall, they want to put your head on the wall, they’re looking for scalps because it emboldens them and it sends fear into their opponents. It is the worst kind of tyranny.

Christian Post Columnist Likens Scott Lively To Jesus Christ For Opposing 'Demonic' LGBT Rights

Michael Bresciani took to the Christian Post’s Prophecy and the News blog over the weekend to warn that the “entire LGBT movement is firmly based on a blatant anti-biblical and anti-Christ lie from the pits of hell” and to liken gays to “murderers, thieves, rapists, extortioners, serial killers and child molesters.”

While defending Uganda’s draconian anti-gay law, Bresciani also defended Massachusetts pastor and gubernatorial candidate Scott Lively, who helped craft the Uganda law.

He said that Lively, like Jesus Christ, faces attacks for his condemnation of “today’s apostate church.”

In his day Christ constantly rebuked the religious leaders for their hypocrisy and for misleading people from acknowledging that God was doing something new in their time. While clinging to the old revelation they were leading their followers down the path to hell.

Looking at the scribes and Pharisees eye to eye, Christ rebuked them with what may have seemed a harsh message for his time and what may soon become an illegal message in our time. Let’s see.

Openly rebuking the leaders of the massive temple worship system of his day would be the equivalent of scolding both the leaders of today’s apostate church and just about everyone involved in politics from the President to the local politician.

One recent example is gubernatorial candidate Scott Lively of Massachusetts. Up east in the most liberal state in the union, candidate Scott Lively openly declared that he would never do anything to further the homo-agenda, especially as it pertains to the indoctrination of children.

He was booed and scoffed at by an audience of about 150 people attending an LGBT forum to address what candidates would do to help the “gay-agenda” if they were elected. The meeting held at the Boston Public Library was televised for everyone in the state to see.

The error of all LGBT communications is simple – it is a teaching, an agenda and a demonic doctrine of men. It is a cunningly devised fable (2Pet 1: 16) placed against the revealed will of God regarding homosexuality.

Christ rebuked the Pharisees for founding their teachings on the “lusts” of their father. (The Devil) What would he say about the entire LGBT movement which is obviously based on nothing but lust?

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” (Jn 8: 44a) We have all heard about the “love” angle and how it is supposed to sanctify the homosexual union, but if you have ever witnessed a gay pride parade or a southern decadence celebration that notion is quickly dispelled. Lust is all there is.

Christ said they had adopted Satan as their father “…He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (Jn 8: 44b)

The entire LGBT movement is firmly based on a blatant anti-biblical and anti-Christ lie from the pits of hell. The lie is simple, God did say homosexuality is an abomination and he has not changed his mind.

Without a “gay gene” it would seem only fair to proclaim that murderers, thieves, rapists, extortioners, serial killers and child molesters are after all – just born that way. Where is the movement to have them all released from prisons and restored to their rightful place in society as good citizens who just happen to be – born that way.

The LGBT has crept into every area of academia, Hollywood, governance, and media. It is pedaled worldwide under the watchful eye of Barack Obama who only recently threatened to pull aid to Uganda for their strict anti-gay laws.

Herman Cain's Website Compares Gays To 'The Borg' Of Star Trek

The editor-in-chief of Herman Cain’s Best of Cain website, formerly CainTV, is the latest right-wing activist to pounce on the controversy surrounding Mozilla’s CEO, who stepped down due to an outcry over his donation to the campaign to repeal marriage equality in California.

Dan Calabrese writes on Cain’s site today that gay rights advocates and websites like OKCupid -- which advised its members not to use Firefox (but despite some reports did not block the browser) -- are promoting fascism and Bolshevism while acting just like The Borg of Star Trek.

“This movement is evil,” Calabrese writes. “The gay movement understands something. They understand that in order for their movement to ultimately succeed, they need to turn the entire culture into a mindless army of obedient adherents like the Borg on Star Trek.”

You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

People who are advocating a righteous cause do not seek to silence all dissent and destroy those who dare to disagree. They let the truth of their position speak for itself, and they don't fear those who mistakenly fail to see the virtue of their position.

Bolshevik. OkCupid is creating fascism, not love.

The essence of fascism is the stifling of dissent. You might argue that the term doesn't apply here because the power of government isn't the driving force behind it. I would tell you that's irrelvant [sic]. The tactics of fascism are the same regardless of who is weilding [sic] the power. What matters is that they have the power and are willing to use it, and right now gay marriage activists have the power because they are able to scare the bejeezus out of just about everyone.

And just to make sure you get the message, they won't just try to silence you today. They'll go back through your history and find out if you've spoken up in the past, and punish you for that - maybe by putting pressure on your employer to take away your job. Or maybe they will conscript the power of government, forcing you to provide them services that your faith would suggest you should not provide.

This movement is evil, not because homosexuality is a "worse sin" than other sins, but because its champions are trying to not only silence but in many cases destroy those who disagree with them. The gay movement understands something. They understand that in order for their movement to ultimately succeed, they need to turn the entire culture into a mindless army of obedient adherents like the Borg on Star Trek. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.

And no one acts this way when their cause is righteous. They know they don't need to. They act this way when their cause is evil, and freedom of speech is their enemy because, ultimately, truth is their enemy.

Linda Harvey Dismisses Homeless LGBT Youth As 'Stubborn' Teens

Mission America head Linda Harvey dismissed concerns over homelessness in the LGBT community today, saying they are misplaced and blaming homeless LGBT youth for the problem.

Harvey explained on her radio show that the high homelessness rate among LGBT young adults isn’t a result of homes and shelters kicking people out due to their sexual orientation or gender identity. Instead, Harvey said that LGBT youth themselves are to blame for being “stubborn” and becoming drifters:

‘Kids are kicked out of their homes just for being who they are,’ is how the saying goes, well let me offer another possibility that I’ve heard far too often: a parent learns that a son or daughter is claiming to be gay but an underage child still lives at home, so the now-heartbroken parent puts new restrictions on some of the activities like for instance, the teen is no longer going to be having sleepovers with that same-sex friend, or if the friend is a college student or has an apartment, visits over there will not be permitted. What does the teen do? It may become a fight where the teen storms out by choice and leaves voluntarily because the homosexual relationship is more important than that of his or her parents. And when that all-important relationship ends, the teen is too stubborn or already too-involved in alcohol or drugs or the premature independence of the homosexual life and he or she would rather drift than return home. It’s not always the case of course but personal decisions are at the heart of these issues.

Louie Gohmert Hails Mississippi Anti-Gay Law, Attacks 'Intolerant' Gays

Earlier this year, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) endorsed Arizona’s failed “right-to-discriminate” bill for challenging attempts to “establish the religion of secularism.”

In reaction to Mississippi’s enactment a similar law, Gohmert yesterday told Washington Watch host and Family Research Council president Tony Perkins — who stood behind Mississippi’s governor at the bill’s signing ceremony — that he is “so proud of Mississippi and what they’ve done.”

After Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant came on the show to receive Gohmert’s plaudits, the congressmen called the anti-gay law “a wonderful example of real freedom” and attacked gay rights critics as intolerant: “You’ve seen it first hand, there is nobody more intolerant in this country than those that are screaming for tolerance. Christians are not intolerant but whoa, goodness these people that have their leftist agenda that are so intolerant so thanks for having the courage to stand up.”

Gohmert: I sure am proud of Mississippi.

Perkins: It’s good to be here in Mississippi, in fact the governor has just joined me here in the studio. Great leadership team in Mississippi.

Gohmert: Well he could probably care less of what Louie Gohmert thinks but I am sure proud of Mississippi.

Perkins: He says he’s a fan of Louie Gohmert.

Bryant: Absolutely.

Gohmert: We are so proud of Mississippi and what they’ve done.

Perkins: Here’s my co-host Gov. Bryant.

Gohmert: Governor, we are so proud, you have set such a wonderful example of real freedom. You’ve seen it first hand, there is nobody more intolerant in this country than those that are screaming for tolerance. Christians are not intolerant but whoa, goodness these people—

Bryant: It is the world of bizarro.

Gohmert: These people that have their leftist agenda that are so intolerant so thanks for having the courage to stand up.

Bryant: You’re quite welcome, thank you sir.

Bryan Fischer Warns 'Modern Family' Makes Gay Couples Seem Like They're 'Tiptoeing Through Tulips' In The 'Garden Of Eden'

Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association is convinced that Modern Family is a “poisonous” show that deceives people into thinking “that heterosexual marriage is bondage,” and expounded on his disgust with the popular sitcom during today’s edition of Focal Point.

Unlike the straight couples on the sitcom who “bicker and fight all the time,” Fischer said, the gay couple and their daughter are portrayed like they’re living in “paradise.”

“It’s the Garden of Eden, it’s paradise, they are tiptoeing through the tulips, everything is wonderful,” he said, warning that the show makes people who “have a marriage of one man and one woman and are happy with each other” seem like “Neanderthals.”

Jesse Tyler Ferguson Laughs Off Bryan Fischer's Claim That 'Modern Family' Is 'Poisoning' America

After American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer called Modern Family a dangerous “poison” that demonizes heterosexuality, Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson laughed off the criticism from the rabidly anti-gay activist.

Ferguson told Huffington Post Live that it is “hard for [him] to even comment” on Fischer’s “hilariously ridiculous” remarks, adding: “You have to allow it to roll of your back, as my favorite drag queen Jinkx Monsoon says, ‘water off a duck’s back,’ I try not to get too worked up about those things.”

The comments on Fischer start at the 14:40 mark.

Listen to Fischer’s anti-gay diatribe attacking Modern Family.

Miller: One of the most popular shows on television, "Modern Family," and you have the guy from "Married With Children" who is married to a young, attractive Latina woman with a kid from another marriage. You've got the heterosexual couple with the stereotypical family; they're the most challenged or, dare we say, the most screwed-up. And then we have the same-sex male family where we have a man and man in a loving, committed relationship that just doesn't have any, any problems. And apparently the promotion on ABC has allowed this show to be very popular and it does impact people and you have good Christians who turn the other cheek, who don't want to be labeled as intolerant and yet, they don't want these values on the airwaves.

Fischer: What's illustrated there is way that the media influences the way that people think about life. The portrait there that's being presented is designed to make you think that same-sex households are wonderful, they're loving, this is paradise, this is the optimum nurturing environment for children; to make you think that heterosexual marriage is bondage, it's dreary, it's gloomy, and we know that the social research indicates exactly the opposite.

...

You know, that's the danger. It's just like getting a little bit of poison over a long period of time, eventually getting enough accumulation in there where it can be kind of lethal to the organism. And I think that's what you're seeing with a lot of this programming. It has to do with kind of the basic view of morality and marriage and life and family that people have. It's very corrosive; people are just watching TV to be entertained, not realizing that their view of life is being twisted in a way that's very harmful to them and harmful to our culture.

They don't need to be... MORE

Instead, he says that... MORE

When you come down to things like axe murder or homosexuality and you say, ‘we’re really going to promote it and we’re going to encourage everybody in America to engage in this or at least support this thing,’ there will be... Since when do we have to check our First Amendment freedoms at the door in order to live and work as a citizen of the United States?” the group asked, lamenting that the government is bent on “forcing Christians to closet their faith and bow before our...
