On Washington Watch this week, Tony Perkins lambasted USAID for holding an activist training in Colombia working on ways to promote LGBT equality and curb anti-LGBT violence. Since Perkins is under the false impression that the “majority of Americans oppose” and “object to” LGBT rights and protections, he said that the summit represents “another breach of trust with Americans” on par with the controversy surrounding accusations the IRS targeted conservative organizations.
Perkins, who has spoken approvingly of the “kill the gays” bill in Uganda, claimed “this is just another part of its strong-arm strategy to bully another nation into compliance with their liberal social policy” and “bribe, coerce and force poor countries into accepting his pro-homosexual agenda,” lamenting: “this administration is doing everything they can to remake not just America in their image, but the world.”
Now this week, the first in a series of USAID gay training took place in Colombia, a nation specifically targeted because its leaders struck down a bill redefining marriage. The goal, an agency spokesman says, is to teach people how to infiltrate the political process and advocate for laws that a majority of Americans oppose, by the way, and we’re paying for this program, these are things we object to, work against and we’re being forced through our tax dollars to pay for it. She says, “It can be a real game-changer in the advancement of LGBT human rights.” Essentially, U.S. taxpayers are being forced to groom the next generation of the world’s Human Rights Campaigns, a stunning exploitation of Americans’ tax dollars, and more importantly, I think this is another breach of trust with Americans. For the Obama administration, this is just another part of its strong-arm strategy to bully another nation into compliance with their liberal social policy. Whether it’s through the United Nations, U.S. embassies, or the State Department, President Obama is leading the effort to bribe, coerce and force poor countries into accepting his pro-homosexual agenda. And it’s being done with your tax dollars. So the IRS is just the tip of the iceberg. This administration is doing everything they can to remake not just America in their image, but the world.
