On his radio program this weekend, right-wing attorney and ardent conspiracy theorist Larry Klayman declared that House Democrats should be impeached and charged with treason for holding a hearing involving President Trump’s former personal attorney, Michael Cohen, while Trump was attending a summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.
Klayman, who is currently representing fellow right-wing conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi in his battle against Special Council Robert Mueller, fumed that “the evil, despicable, vile, corrupt, dishonest Democrats on Capitol Hill … are out to destroy the president and, in doing that, they don’t care about the United States, so they are destroying the United States.”
“At the same time that he is meeting with the Korean dictator, they’re holding this hearing with the legal and political hack, Michael Cohen,” Klayman fumed, asserting that Kim Jong Un was unwilling to negotiate with Trump because the hearing made it look like Trump was weak and might be out of office soon.
“This was an act of treason,” he said. “These people have committed sedition against the United States, they themselves should be impeached … It’s treason.”
