Over the last few days, Bryan Fischer has dedicated several segments of his radio show to discussing the claims made by former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in his new book, especially Gates’ assertion that President Obama had serious doubts about the strategy his administration was pursuing in Afghanistan.
On his show today, Fischer speculated that Obama’s doubts were rooted in the fact that Obama is “disparaging of Christianity” because “his sympathies are with the Islamic faith.” As such, Obama didn’t want to send US troops into Afghanistan “because they were going to be killing Muslims”
