DADT Repeal Means America Now No Better Than Sodom and Gomorrah

Yesterday we noted that Richard Land was warning that repealing Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell was going to incite God to unleash his judgment upon America.

Today, the Family Research Council Senior Fellow for National Security Bob Maginnis is warning that it’s repeal means that America is now no better than Sodom and Gomorrah:

Lt. Col. Bob Maginnis (USA-Ret.), who was part of the working group that helped craft the 1993 ban, says contrary to what the president says, the U.S. military will be weaker as a result of this change.

“Most of us who are veterans are going to say, ‘Well, they have gone much too far’ and that we should not encourage our children, nor anyone in our sphere of influence, to join the military today,” he suggests.

[H]e laments that the military has refused to recommend segregating the homosexuals from heterosexual service members out of concern of antagonizing the homosexuals. So he decides America is now no better than Sodom and Gomorrah, the biblical cities mentioned in Genesis that are synonymous with impenitent sin that brought God’s wrath upon them.
