Conservative Commentator Says ‘Jewish Guilt’ Causes Jews To Cast A ‘Suicide Vote’ For Democrats

On his “Pray In Jesus Name” program yesterday, Gordon Klingenschmitt interviewed right-wing radio host and political commentator Josh Bernstein, who offered his insightful opinion about how “Jewish guilt” regularly causes Jews to cast a “suicide vote” in support of Democratic candidates.

“I believe that most Jews that are not religious, that are more secular, are more in favor of being Democrats because of Jewish guilt,” Bernstein explained. “Jews are known as the chosen people and, in the Torah, there is a section called Tikkun Olam, which means ‘to heal the world.’ So Jews, as the chosen people, they’re usually more wealthy, they’re usually more educated and they usually are in an upper eschalon in society … and so there’s an internal guilt that they feel about that. And so what they do instead is that they vote for, quote, the disenfranchised or the little guy or the people that need a leg up in society. But what they don’t understand is that typically the folks that they vote for are the most anti-Semitic so, in essence, it becomes a suicide vote.”

“If you look at it from a biblical perspective,” he concluded, “and you look at what the Torah says, you can understand quite succinctly why Jews are more liberal.”
