When radical right-wing conspiracy theorist Chris McDonald returned to his hotel room Wednesday after meeting with Tennessee Rep. Phil Roe in his office on Capitol Hill, he broadcast his nightly “The MC Files” livestream program, and declared that President Donald Trump has been called by God to utterly destroy his political enemies.
McDonald claimed that when Trump was first elected, he expected to be able to find common ground with Democrats and work together for the benefit of this nation. That did not happen, so McDonald said that Trump must now destroy them, in the biblical sense.
“I believe this with all my heart that when he gets reelected in 2020, there is going to be no stopping him from destroying his deep state and destroying his enemies in a way that God has ordained for him to do,” McDonald said. “You can pray for your enemies all you want, but if your enemies continue to come against you, read the Old Testament [about] how God had told David to do with the enemies of Israel.”
For an example of what King David did to the enemies of Israel, read 2 Samuel 8, in which tens of thousands were killed by his forces.
To drive home this point, McDonald then cited the story of Saul from 1 Samuel 15, in which God ordered him to “attack the Amalekites and totally destroy all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.” When Saul failed to follow the Lord’s instructions and kill every living thing, God turned against him, and McDonald warned that the same thing will happen to Trump if he doesn’t completely annihilate his political enemies.
“When you don’t destroy that which God ordains you to destroy, you lose your kingdom and you lose your soul over it,” McDonald said. “You are fighting for the survival of your nation and it would be a dereliction of duty if President Trump didn’t fight against it. And he has my blessing to do it, and I think he has got the blessing of God to do it.”
