In a radio bulletin last week, Mission America’s Linda Harvey defended a Pennsylvania bridal shop and a New York wedding venue that denied service to same-sex couples, arguing that the businesses have been swept up in a “totally unnecessary, homosexually-instigated controversy.”
“This is all part of the strong-armed bullying of those who are determined to force everyone in America to serve the interests of homosexuals,” she said, pointing to “an intensive effort to retaliate against the [bridal] shop with homosexual supporters posting unfavorable and surely mostly dishonest reviews” online.
“You thought you lived in the USA of 2014, not Germany in 1936, right?” she added.
