On yesterday’s “Pray In Jesus Name” program, Gordon Klingenschmitt responded to reports that the Obama administration had ordered the Pentagon to stop sending weapons and equipment to Israel without prior approval from the White House by warning that such a move is putting this nation at risk of receiving God’s judgment.
Klingenschmitt declared that “the Scriptures call for Washington” to ensure that America’s foreign policy is based upon the Bible, saying that “the foreign policy of our national security to protect American interests ought to be in line with Joel chapter three.”
In Joel 3, God warns that nations will be put “on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.”
“Who is He talking about there?” Klingenschmitt warned. “He’s talking about America if we are among those who have scattered Israel among the nations and divided up God’s land”:
