After calling for schools to ban openly gay and lesbian teachers, Linda Harvey of Mission America now wants the government to close gay bars. According to Harvey, gay bars and bathhouses should be closed in order to prevent the spread of HIV. She also said that schools should “stop promoting homosexual behavior to kids” because “God never created people” to be gay. Harvey previously warned companies against hiring gays and lesbians and described the It Gets Better Project as “evil.”

Harvey: So what could we do to make a serious dent in the HIV and syphilis disease track? One obvious approach is to stop promoting homosexual behavior to kids and falsely calling it an identity like race. We could also close down homosexual bars and bathhouses, that would be a start. God never created people to engage in these unnatural acts.
