Swimp: Gay Men ‘In Bottomless Pants’ Are ‘Literally Trying To Collapse Our Western Civilization’

Last week, Glenn Beck became enamored with a group of anti-gay black Religious Right activists who were vowing never to accept the Supreme Court ruling legalizing gay marriage nationwide. Beck arranged to have one of the leaders of this group, Michigan-based anti-gay activist Stacy Swimp, appear on his radio program today, even though Beck himself is off the air for the month due to health reasons.

That left Beck’s co-hosts, Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere, to interview Swimp and listen to him ramble on about how the “LGBT gestapo” is out to destroy the religious freedoms of Christians in America by allowing men to walk about “in bottomless pants” while subjecting their adopted children to unnecessary hormone therapy all in an effort to collapse Western Civilization.

“This is not even just about so-called gay marriage,” Swimp said. “This is about an immoral revolution. Look at what they’re doing, they’re trying to superimpose it in our schools. Did you hear about the case in California, and this is not uncommon, where homosexuals who have been allowed to adopt children … are taking them to get hormone shots because they’re saying that this pre-adolescent wants to be of a different gender and so they’re trying to stop the natural genetical [sic] process of this minor that they have custody of? This is what’s happening, so this is getting to a point now where they’re literally trying to collapse our Western Civilization. This is a moral, supernatural, spiritual thing that’s manifesting itself in the political realm, in the social realm, in the cultural realm and if people like you and I and those of us who can see it don’t do anything about it, I’m telling you, we’re going to look up and we’re going to have boys going to the girls’ bathroom … We’re going to have men walking around in bottomless pants.”

While Gray and Burguiere couldn’t help but laugh at Swimp’s parade of horribles, Swimp continued to warn that soon churches won’t even be allowed to preach that homosexuality is a sin.

“Anytime that you have so-called gay rights being backed up by an expansion of government,” he said, “what happens is you have a decrease of religious rights or religious freedom or religious conscious rights of Christian Americans. So beware, beware, and resist, resist, resist.”
