A federal court finds that Alabama judges can no longer deny marriage licenses to same-sex couples, leaving the head of the Alabama GOP to warn that marriage equality will lead to “God’s wrath.”

Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore insists that he has “many homosexual friends.”

Apparently, David Lane has gay friends too, so who cares about his comments about how gay people will somehow cause “car bombs” in major cities and “our utter destruction” as a country.

Gina Miller laments that anti-gay activists are “running out of places” to flee to now that “the United States stands on the brink of becoming Sodom West.”

West Virginia Del. Saira Blair, a young Republican politician who is beloved by the Religious Right, defended a ban on abortions because it “isn’t about a woman’s body.”

Further proof that the Religious Right does not at all represent all Christians.
