Last week, it was announced that President Obama would be signing a executive order banning discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees by federal contractors and Gordon Klingenschmitt is predictably outraged, declaring on his “Pray In Jesus Name” program that these sorts of anti-discrimination bans are nothing more than tyrannical anti-Christian persecution.
“I think this is outright tyranny,” he said. “And it’s a demonic spirit of persecution, it’s anti-Christian persecution … We should have a First Amendment right to opt out and yet we’re being denied access to twenty eight million jobs now being given favoritism to people because of the way they have perverted sex and they’re being denied to Christians because they happen to believe the Bible”:
