Right-wing commentator Josh Bernstein posted a video today in which he rattled off a long list of elected officials and government employees whom he believes should be executed for treason for supposedly attempting to prevent President Trump from being inaugurated in 2017.
Citing an unverified and unsubstantiated right-wing article that claims that former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper contemplated going to the Supreme Court in an effort to prevent Trump’s inauguration, Bernstein declared that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Robert Mueller, Loretta Lynch, Sens. Mark Warner, Ben Cardin and Bob Corker, and various other government officials should all be arrested and executed.
“Every single one of them should be charged with U.S. Code 18 2381, which is treason,” Bernstein said. “Their acts are treasonous. Their acts are seditious. They tried to overthrow the will of the people by planting fake evidence to overthrow a duly elected presidential elect for president. That is high crimes and misdemeanors to the point of treason and these people should executed.”
“There should be a trial and they should be executed and I have no problem saying that publicly,” he added. “They should be executed for treason.”
