Inside The Mind of Glenn Beck: Obama’s Silence On St. Louis Unrest Will Cause Companies To Move Overseas

During yesterday’s morning staff meeting, before President Obama had issued a statement in response to the unrest outside of St. Louis following the shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a police officer, Glenn Beck ripped Obama for not having called for calm, saying that this sort of instability is why American companies moving overseas.

“It’s absolutely unbelievable,” Beck said, “and especially if you look at it this way: the entire world is on fire, we have companies that are leaving America. Why are the companies leaving America? It’s too expensive for them to stay, but also I’m not sure if I’m going to bet on the stability of this place.”

“You add instability,” Beck lectured his staff, “you add riots on the street, more companies want to leave, more companies overseas say I don’t know if I should invest there. We’ve always been stable. The president has got to call for stability!”
