Charisma House, the book publishing arm of the Trump-promoting Pentecostal media operation Charisma, continues to promote the forthcoming book by anti-Muslim activist Brigitte Gabriel, which is scheduled for release on September 11. “RISE: In Defense of Judeo-Christian Values and Freedom” is being published by the Charisma House imprint Frontline.
“America as we know it is being transformed before our very eyes,” declares an ominous-sounding voice in a promotional video for the book:
Western civilization and the values it was founded upon are under attack from enemies both abroad and from within. Unvetted immigration is rampant, the flag is considered a hate symbol on college campuses, traditional family values are attacked, and antifa terrorists and more are gaining a foothold in communities across America. Is our nation at the crossroads of irreversible consequences? Or is there still time to rise, rise and defend the heart and soul of this nation….
A press release promoting “RISE” that was distributed on Monday morning was headlined “Transformation Through Immigration.” It said the book will equip readers “to fight the efforts of America’s enemies to undermine our nation at every level of society” and will “motivate readers to unite with other patriots who wish to preserve America’s endangered Judeo-Christian values and freedom.” The release included some quotes from the book, including these:
- “When did our immigration system start functioning like a charity to benefit third-world countries rather than America?”
- “When did it become the case that the interests of foreigners should take precedent over those of American citizens?”
- “A massive wave of third-world immigration has been engulfing America for half a century, yet all American citizens hear about from the ‘lamestream’ media is what a racist, intolerant country we live in. If we don’t openly accept millions of individuals who have no desire to embrace the language, culture, and values that made America the greatest country in the history of the world, we must be racists.”
In today’s press release, Gabriel defended using the word “unvetted” in describing the “foreigners flocking to the United States.”
“I haven’t fallen for the mainstream media lie that we have a legitimate vetting process in this country,” she said. “The truth is, this so-called ‘vetting process’ is merely a smokescreen used by leftist politicians to keep the public from knowing the dangerous reality involved in refugee resettlement.”
Among the right-wing endorsers of “RISE” are Sean Hannity, Judge Jeanine Pirro, Dinesh D’Souza and Michelle Malkin.
Gabriel’s previous books include “Because They Hate” and “They Must Be Stopped.” Charisma promises that “RISE” will be “her most explosive book to date” and will “reveal alarming evidence to open readers’ eyes regarding the imminent threat and ever-widening plot to destroy long-enjoyed freedoms and national security.”
Brigitte’s organization, ACT for America, has been designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, which calls it the largest anti-Muslim group in America. Gabriel has bragged about having a “direct line” to President Trump and about her group’s close ties with Mike Pompeo.

Gabriel and ACT for America have a track record of strident anti-Muslim rhetoric. After the 2016 Democratic National Convention, Gabriel said that Gold Star father Khizr Khan–now a People For the American Way board member—was lying either about being Muslim or following the Constitution, because, she claimed, a practicing Muslim cannot abide by the Constitution.
Last summer, ACT for America chapters across the country organized events under the title “March Against Sharia—March for Human Rights,” in support of President Trump’s unconstitutional travel bans. At last year’s Values Voter Summit, Gabriel warned that refugees coming to the U.S. “hate America” and “have no respect for women, children or our American values.”
