Glenn Beck returned from vacation this morning and it is safe to say that his outlook is just as dire as ever, as he spent a good portion of his radio broadcast this morning ripping President Obama for his remarks regarding the verdict in the Trayvon Martin murder trial.
Beck’s co-hosts lamented that Obama had the opportunity to be a racially transformative president but instead has set about intentionally sowing racial division, so much so that race relations are now as bad as they were in the 1920s when Woodrow Wilson was president.
That prompted Beck to declare that while Obama had an opportunity to be a modern day Abraham Lincoln, he has instead become a modern day Jefferson Davis who is “absolutely tearing us apart” by using “all of the tactics that the Palestinians use; he uses all of the tactics that not just the race-baiters here but the anti-Semites all over the world use to gain control: blame it on the Jew, blame it on the Jew; we’ll just blame it on the white people”:
