Bachmann: Obama ‘Committed Impeachable Offenses,’ Wants To Be A Dictator

Speaking with conservative talk show host Rusty Humphries on a conference call sponsored by TheTeaParty.net yesterday, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota suggested that the House hold hearings on impeaching the president. Bachmann said that “impeachment is the stain” on the presidency and “We can have an impeachment hearing in the House and in my mind the President has committed impeachable offenses.”

“With Harry Reid in charge of the Senate, unless there is some miracle that happens,” Bachmann lamented, “Harry Reid is not going to remove Obama from office.”

The Minnesota congresswoman, who recently said that Obama is aiding Al Qaeda and plunged the world into the End Times, told Tea Party activists that we “could be on the cusp of seeing some civil disobedience” similar to what happened in Egypt because “people aren’t going to take this thuggery of this President much longer.”

“We see thuggery going on in the White House, we’re not going to take it, we’ve drawn a line in the sand,” Bachmann maintained, adding that Obama needs to know that he is “not a dictator.”

“What this is about is whether or not we will hold onto a constitutional republic,” Bachmann told listeners about the government shutdown fight. “I want the Tea Party to know they made a profound difference and what they’re fighting for is to see if we’re actually going to be a constitutional republic or if we’re going to be totally devolved into a dictatorship under somebody like Barack Obama.”

Bachmann also took issue with the press, which she said “could rightly be called ‘Treason Media.’”

“They have done everything they can to facilitate this president because they agree with him, they agree with his worldview, they agree with his message, they have no interest in the truth, they only have an interest in protecting this President,” Bachmann charged, pointing to the media’s supposed lack of questions about the Benghazi attack.

Bachmann even reacted to Miley Cyrus’s impersonation of her on Saturday Night Life, telling activists that she didn’t mind the skit and assured them, “I’ve never done twerking in my life and I don’t intend to take it up.”
